"When others divide..." - Now Think On This message by Steve Martin, Love For His People, Inc

Greetings to our friends of Love For His People ministry.

Here are a few thoughts to share. Maybe connected. Probably are.

The month of August, #8 on the Gregorian calendar, often brought a major life shift in our family over the years, with major moves to different states, ministry job changes, new vision for the future - all happening in the month of August. Thus I often look with expectancy to what the Lord has next. How about you? Expectations are a good thing.

A country divided is not going to stand. As the Word says, division is just another tool of our enemy in his attempt to stop the move of the Lord. As believers, we don't have to sit back and let it happen. We have a major part in being about our Lord's purposes for this country, which are yet to unfold. That is my hope and mission, and I know you have the same heart. Because we know and have the truth, we are called to share truth and light.

With that said, I want to again give you notice of upcoming times to gather together, in unity.

First coming up is the Highway To Zion assembly, led by our very good friend Cathy Hargett and team. Worship leader and speaker Carolyn Hyde from Tiberias, Israel is joining us! Check this out: Carolyn Hyde at Highway To Zion in Charlotte, NC.

Then the Strength For Israel time on September 6, 2019, with Hadassah Lerner from Jerusalem speaking! (You don't want to miss this one...)

A month later, a great couple of days with Paul Wilbur coming to CFM's annual conference, Roar From Zion, hosted by Dr. Peter Wyns, in October. Wow! Lord!

And finally, the Gathering Together Event (GTE) in April 2020. 2 days. 12 speakers. 3 worship teams. Unity among the Charlotte and Rock Hill churches and ministries.

And yes, a new message! I like this one I shared recently (apparently others did too when read by many already on our website): "We Came Expecting and Ready. Then God Shows Up."

Be encouraged. We have the God Who is revealing Himself to us as we seek Him.

We Came Expecting and Ready. And God Showed Up.

“Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38, NKJV

A good friend and co-worker at Antioch International Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina shared this testimony of what the Lord called him to do, and in faith, asked him to trust and obey.

Read his testimony, and then ask the Lord for faith to also hear and obey. It will cost you too.

But nothing else is really worth it...

"On a Friday night in July 2019, when I was on my way to the worship service at Antioch, I was running late. I was supposed to be playing percussion on the worship team but was not feeling that well; even contemplating to not go. I was actually on Cherry Road in Rock Hill, about to get on I77. I called my wife Robbie and told her I think I am just going to come back home. She responded to me with, “Just go and if you don't feel well then just come home.”

Upon arrival, I walked into worship a little after 7:15 pm. At some point, while I was in worship I was drawn to Ed Brigham, the appointed leader of the night. The Lord began to speak to me by saying “New Day”.

I then began to see in the spirit Ed standing on a beachhead looking out at either a sunrise or sunset. Then understanding came that it was Ed looking out and wondering what he was observing as I was walking up to give him the word, “New Day.” After I shared this with him, I turned away in worship and prayer. As I did so, I was still seeing this ocean scene and began to see an old pier having all the pillars there but most of the top planks where missing."

Be Encouraged. Our God Wins!

Be encouraged in your daily walk with God, for when it is all said and done, our God wins!God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and God the Holy Spirit - the Three in One - rule from their heavenly throne. Together they are daily involved in the lives of men, women, and children in all the nations.

The establishment of their kingdom here on earth is taking place. And one day Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, will set up His earthly throne in Jerusalem, Israel, the place where He left from in 33 AD, promising to return to that same place.

Knowing the last chapter recorded in the end of the Book, the Word of God, the Bible, as revealed to John the Apostle, we know that from the beginning in Genesis, to that ending chapter in Revelation, the Lord has been preparing His people and bringing about His plans and purposes.Both believing Jews and Gentiles are seeing His work and getting involved.

These messages are to encourage you, included among them I trust, in your walk with the Living God of Israel.
