A Brighter Future ✡ "For A Child Has Been Born To Us" - Israel365

For a child has been born to us, A son has been given us.

כִּי־יֶלֶד יֻלַּד־לָנוּ בֵּן נִתַּן־לָנוּ

ישעיהו  ט:ה

Today's Israel Inspiration

In the above verse, Isaiah’s prophecy of the impending salvation is combined with a vision of the birth of a child. Throughout the preceding three chapters of Isaiah, the Prophet combined prophecies of redemption with announcements of upcoming births. These dual themed prophecies signify that even if the present situation is difficult, the future will be brighter and full of new life. With a nationwide network of soup kitchens, Meir Panim serves the neediest of Israel. Although these individuals are currently living in difficult circumstances, Meir Panim encourages their brighter future. During the difficult times, Meir Panim makes sure that Israel’s hungry are well-fed and looked after so they too will experience a better day.

When Soup Kitchen Patron Went Missing, Volunteers Noticed – And Acted

After the Meir Panim volunteers’ first efforts to find Vladimir and were unsuccessful, they contacted the city’s social services department, which was able to locate him.

Happy Balfour Day!

The Balfour Declaration is the singular, internationally confirmed, ratified document that recognizes the existence of the Jews as a people with the right to a homeland in the Land of Israel. The document has become a physical and spiritual symbol of Christian support for Israel. Mark November 2nd as Balfour day in your Israel365 calendar!
