For Israel this image was not just a sign of solidarity! After the Christmas market truck ramming attack in Berlin, it seems as if a little understanding for Israeli terror victims is now being demonstrated.
A day later the projector was switched off and the Brandenburg Gate returned to its golden glow. The moment of solidarity passed.
