Israel is rejecting a European push to force a Palestinian state on Israel as a solution to the war in Gaza. After British Prime Minister Keir Starmer warned Tuesday that the U.K. would support a French proposal to recognize a Palestinian state in September if Israel didn't agree to a ceasefire. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar responded, "It ain't gonna happen," insisting there won't be a "jihadist terror state" in the ancient Jewish homeland. President Donald Trump also voiced objections to the Starmer plan. Meanwhile, the entire Arab League and the European Union signed a declaration condemning the October 7th massacre and calling on Hamas to release all 50 Israeli hostages, and for the terror group to end its rule in Gaza.
