Johnny Enlow: "A Prophetic Message From the World Series: Sky's the Limit and Keep Your Joy!" - The Elijah List

Johnny Enlow: "A Prophetic Message From the World Series: Sky's the Limit and Keep Your Joy!"

The Elijah List Nov 14, 2017

Steve Shultz     From the desk of Steve Shultz:
Johnny Enlow has a knack and a gift of seeing the "prophetic meaning" in many of the world's current events...and that also includes the recent Major League Baseball "World Series" which was recently won by the Houston Astros.
As we know...Houston and Texas have recently gone through some great devastation and Johnny shares what will come out of these shakings that have recently happened in the past few months, including multiple hurricanes, floods, fires, etc.
Through all of this Johnny, exhorts us to "keep our joy on"...and that's exactly what the world needs – His unspeakable joy – full of glory!
Johnny shares this about the recent World Series win from the Houston Astros amongst the devastation that recently happened in their city:
I listened with interest as several members of the Houston Astros talked about making a conscientious choice early in the series to just enjoy the games. There is a message here as well. We have been in a two-month period of so many devastating events taking place (Harvey, Irma, Maria, California fires, Vegas, Charlottesville and the Texas church shooting, etc.). There has also been so much division and hostility in the air via media outlets that it can be a challenge to stay above it all. However, that is exactly what we must do.
Yes, stay in prayer, stay in peace and don't lose your JOY! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

As many of you know, I believe that many sports headliners conceal an accompanying spiritual message, and I believe the recent winning of the World Series by the Houston Astros over the Los Angeles Dodgers does just that. For the cynical handful of you who say, "We have the Bible and we don't need to be reading sports events," I will remind you that it is in fact the Bible that says, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter" (Prov. 25:2). We too can become "kingly" if we drop our pride and religiosity.
A Tale of Two Cities Flooded by A Harvey
In a remarkable coincidence this year's World Series hometown has been dominated by news of a Harvey. Houston endured Hurricane Harvey and the worst flooding in United States history. Then we have Los Angeles still in the throes of being flooded by "the Harvey Weinstein effect" which has hundreds of women in the entertainment industry (and now elsewhere) courageously coming forward to reveal a deviant culture of sexual harassment by men in positions of power.
Ensuing reformation will come into Hollywood and society because of this flooding.
"The Kingdom of God does not advance in somberness but it exudes righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17)."
Curiously, there is a third Harvey in the mix. I shared last year of the release of a great angel of harvest glory named Harvey. Somehow all three of these Harveys will end up having a role in the coming harvest, not just of souls but of cities and nations.
Los Angeles and Houston seem both earmarked for something very special as it relates to harvest glory. Houston had its worst flooding ever; Los Angeles had its worst fire ever. Then they both met in the World Series.
Astros Win for the First Time: So Can You
Much was made of last year's World Series, and the fact that the Cubs broke a drought of over 100 years to win it. They beat the Indians who were the other team with the longest drought since winning a World Series championship. This year again had a similar theme in play with the Los Angeles Dodgers looking to break a drought of not winning since 1988. However, the Houston Astros top all of the drought-busting taking place, as they had NEVER won a championship in 55 years of existence.
A spiritual message for all of us is that even beyond breaking droughts, we are now in a season where those who have never had a real breakthrough can now have it. It is a time for the weak, small and foolish underdogs to put to shame the things that are mighty (1 Cor. 1:27). It is a time where God will enjoy using the despised and lowly to bring great Kingdom victories.
I love it that the word astro means pertaining to stars or the celestial bodiesIt is simultaneously time for Heaven to rule on earth and time for the sky to be the limit. ALL things are possible and NOTHING is impossible to those who will exercise belief. This is a time to be empowered by that reality.
In the Spring Season of the Kingdom
George Springer had an incredible World Series and was appropriately named the most valuable player. "George" means "farmer or tiller of the soil" and "Springer" means "a cow or heifer near to calving". This is a season that will reward those that are actively tilling their soil as a birthing of something significant is about to be your reality. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
Furthermore, "Springer" means, "having to do with Spring" and this becomes an important narrative of the day to run with in order to be fruitful. We are not in the age of the antichrist, the beast or the false prophet, but rather in the beginning spring season of the Kingdom age. If you will till the ground He has given you and swing hard when opportunities arise, you will find yourself hitting important Kingdom home runs. Astro-nomical gains are available as never before, as long as we have not quit. Get back in the game if you will. And yes, it's supposed to be fun.
Orange: Focus on the Family
In our 7 mountain teaching, we have identified the color orange as the color of the rainbow associated with the mountain of family. I believe it was significant that the Houston Astros were wearing their orange jerseys when they clinched game 7 as champions. This is a time for families and family breakthrough ministries and organizations to arise and shine.
ElijahList Prophetic Resources
The sexual brokenness of society has never been more evident, nor has the poor mental state of society been so much on display and in the news. There is a great opportunity for anointed power and solutions to come through the Church and to begin to heal society as we have never done.
We have been the rules committee for society as if our greatest assignment were to point fingers. Toting 10 Commandments around doesn't engage or change hearts and we must now shift into being actual healers of society who carry Papa's heart of acceptance, as well as His supernatural power. The Harvey Weinsteins' thrive in a broken family culture such as our own.
"ALL things are possible and NOTHING is impossible to those who will exercise belief. This is a time to be empowered by that reality."
Also, the recent shootings in Texas and in Vegas seem to point to mental health as being the presiding issue. Furthermore, our president just announced that we are in an opioid crisis, which is connected to our state of poor mental health and the abuse of prescription drugs. Thousands are dying every year. The pharmaceutical industry has a clear guilt in this whole picture, but beyond that, one third of Americans have some kind of anxiety or classical depression.
Broken families have a major role in all of these scenarios and we must now arise with Papa's "orange" color of strength. The Dodger "blues" must be dealt with and it is at a highest priority of importance.
Learn to Keep Your Joy
I listened with interest as several members of the Houston Astros talked about making a conscientious choice early in the series to just enjoy the games. There is a message here as well. We have been in a two-month period of so many devastating events taking place (Harvey, Irma, Maria, California fires, Vegas, Charlottesville and the Texas church shooting, etc.). There has also been so much division and hostility in the air via media outlets that it can be a challenge to stay above it all. However, that is exactly what we must do.
Yes, we must weep with those who weep, but we must also be careful not to think it our assignment is to process all the worlds' sad news. We are to be touched by these matters, but then we must give it to the Lord so that we can be the antidote to the sadness going around. The Kingdom of God does not advance in somberness, but it exudes righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).
I flew across the country recently, and while doing so felt to read Beni Johnson's The Happy Intercessor. I loved the book. I think this to be an excellent read right now for everybody. There is a lot happening in the spirit realm and everyone does carry SOME intercessory assignment. However, Beni is very clear on how joy becomes the greatest spiritual "game changer" that we can carry, as opposed to coming under a wrong sobriety. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
The Lord would have us just briefly get under the weight only He can carry, and then it becomes imperative we give it back and step back into joy. In fact, if we don't start from joy, we will take too much weight on – even to start with. Especially if you DO consider yourself an intercessor, this book gives great wisdom and guidelines.
If you are fighting depression or discouragement in any way as an intercessor, make reading this book a high priority. Intercession is very important right now, but only if done FROM a place of victory. We need to affect the thought realm of the second heavens and we need to affect it with celebration. If we can't find celebration, we haven't been finding Him. He's been winning the world series and it is time for us to join in popping the champagne, meaning joy and celebration. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

"Bob Jones' 1985 'Kansas City Royals' Prophecy Stirs Hope for Revival" - Jennifer LeClaire, The Elijah List

The Kansas City Royals rallied to win the World Series on Sunday, and many in Kansas City and beyond are shouting for joy—even if they are not hardcore baseball fans. That's because they are believing the prophets and hoping to prosper.
Indeed, the win was not only significant because it was the first time in 30 years the Royals took home the championship; it's significant because it fulfills a string of prophecies and stirs hope in the hearts of many contending for revival in Kansas City and America.
Mike Bickle, director of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOPKC), shares a Bob Jones prophecy in the ministry's prophetic history. He explains that Jones prophesied during the 1985 World Series:
"God, the Holy Spirit is going to create worldwide attention to be focused on Kansas City ... That's the good news. Here's the bad news. The Lord is going to do it through the baseball game.
"It looks like Kansas City is down and out and will never make it and suddenly at 5 till 12 the Lord brings the victory in. That's the spiritual message over this movement breaking forth in this city.

When it looks like it is five till twelve and Kansas City is counted out. Suddenly at 5 till 12 the Lord's breaking in victory."

Later, Jones told Bickle: "I heard it! I heard it out loud. I heard it in my dream. I heard the voice of the Lord. It spoke resounding. I heard it very clear. The Lord said, 'Eleven is the number because it's the 11th hour victory. It's the 11th hour victory He's going to give Kansas City."
The 1985 match went down in baseball history as the "Miracle World Series" because it looked hopeless. From the outside looking in, it didn't appear there was any way the Royals were going to pull out a victory. Kansas City was down three games to one and had to win four in a row to take the crown. Thirty years ago, Jones went on to tell Bickle:
"You're going to be counted out many times by people and at 5 till 12, in the 11th hour, the Lord is going to break through and this prayer movement is going to succeed and it's going to get the attention of the entire earth. This is going to happen. You wait and watch the baseball league."
Of course, this was long before IHOPKC was going hard 24/7 with worship and prayer. It was before a generation of youth started contending for revival. And this was before Bob Hartley, founder of Hartley Institute/Deeper Waters Ministry in Kansas City, had six dreams about the drama of the Kansas City Royals. Here's the bottom line of those prophetic encounters:
"Watch the Royals, because after many years of disappointment, the Royal ones are entering into a time of Numbers 27:18-23, where they are being commissioned to enter into the promises. Watch them, as they will win and bring a shift from hopelessness to hope ... This is going to be like 1985. Do you remember what brought them home? ... Hope unseen will get them to first base. Then they will become unburdened and light on their feet.

This carefree hope will get them to second base. They will be filled with joy and happily steal third base with childlike hope ... but salvation will come from an unlikely place and 'hope against hope' will bring them home."
And then it happened. The Royals won the World Series in 2015 after a heartbreaking Game 7 loss to San Francisco last year. As the Associated Pressput it, "For these resilient Royals, no deficit is too large, no time in the game too late."
At a time when hopeless is striking the heart of America and men's hearts threaten to fail them for fear of economic meltdowns, plagues, earthquakes and other evil prophetic forebodings, the words of Jones and Hartley are ringing in the ears of Believers around the nation believing for a Third Great Awakening.
Could God be speaking words of life and hope—and revival—through a baseball game?

Christian Baseball Hero Daniel Murphy Lambasted for Stance on Gays - CHARISMA NEWS

Christian Baseball Hero Daniel Murphy Lambasted for Stance on Gays

Daniel Murphy has accomplished something no one else in baseball history has done. Not Babe Ruth, or Hank Aaron, or Mickey Mantle. He has hit home runs in six consecutive postseason games. His latest helped the Mets defeat the Cubs and earn their first trip to the World Series in fifteen years.
But Murphy is making headlines beyond his baseball heroics. Reporters are replaying an incident that occurred last spring, when he made this statement regarding homosexuality: "I do disagree with the lifestyle, 100 percent." Critics are deriding him today for such "intolerance."
But here's how Murphy explained his statement: "Maybe, as a Christian, we haven't been as articulate enough in describing what our actual stance is on homosexuality. We love the people. We disagree with the lifestyle. That's the way I would describe it for me. It's the same way that there are aspects of my life that I'm trying to surrender to Christ."
Humble courage is essential to Christian witness today. In our culture, believers face criticism and slander for their biblical convictions. In other cultures, they face far worse. A Catholic charity has released a report on the "deepening plight of Christians" around the world. It states that "Christians are fast disappearing from entire regions" and warns of "the very real possibility that Christianity could soon all but disappear from much of its ancient homeland."
Radical Islamists are behind much of this rise in persecution. And their ideology is spreading far beyond the Middle East. For instance, eight men in Cologne, Germany, were charged with looting churches and schools to give money to ISIS. The former commander of Britain's chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons regiment is warning that ISIS will "inevitably" gain and use weapons of mass destruction.
Jesus warned us: "If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you" (John 15:20). Those who hate God hate the people of God. Satan knows that he cannot attack our Father, so he attacks God's children. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote and proved, discipleship comes at a cost—always.
The next time you face opposition for your faith, remember these biblical statements:
  • "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).
  • When facing enemies, "fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, it is He who goes with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6).
  • In an immoral culture, "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be bold like men, and be strong" (1 Corinthians 16:13).
  • Courage is a strong witness when we are "not frightened by your adversaries. This is a sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and this from God" (Philippians 1:28).
  • When you are called to defend your faith, "the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say" (Luke 12:12).
Martin Luther King, Jr. was right: "We must constantly build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear." Theologian A. A. Hodge observed, "It is easier to find a score of men wise enough to discover the truth than to find one intrepid enough, in the face of opposition, to stand up for it."

A Prophetic History - Rick Joyner Video | Prophetic Perspective on Current Events

A Prophetic History
- Rick Joyner on Bob Jones

Bob & Bonnie Jones

Love For His People Editor's Note: Rick shares in this episode prophetic words Bob Jones spoke years before it came to pass. The property Rick lived on, Lamb's Chapel, in what is now Ballantyne (south Charlotte, NC) is the same land the Lord gave to All Nations Church in 1994, with Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda, and myself.

That property was also in fulfillment of a dream the Lord had given to me in 1991, showing me the land and buildings while we were yet in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and looking for a re-location for Mahesh Chavda Ministries/All Nations Church.

You can read about that in my 1st book, THE PROMISE", and more in my 2nd book, AHAVA LOVE LETTERS.

The Lord indeed speaks to us through dreams, visions, and prophetic words.
