In my mind I saw it as a desert until I started hearing about it from Pastor Hagge and Pat Robertson. Today's Israel Inspiration

In today's verse the Land of Israel is described 

- uniquely in all the world - as the "good land." 

 Great emphasis is placed in Jewish tradition on 

speaking positively of God's "good land." We learn 

this from the tragic mistake of the spies (Number 14:35), 

who failed to seek or focus on the goodness as 

promised by God. If we rather attach ourselves 

to the Land of Israel, we attach ourselves to the 

unparalleled spiritual advantages and opportunities 

to come closer to God that is only possible in this
