Plant a Tree in Israel for the Holidays! ✡ "It Will Sprout Again" - ISRAEL365

For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down,
that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

כִּי יֵשׁ לָעֵץ תִּקְוָה אִם יִכָּרֵת וְעוֹד יַחֲלִיף וְיֹנַקְתּוֹ לֹא תֶחְדָּל

איוב יד:ז

Today's Israel Inspiration

Job contrasts the passing of man to the death of a tree. Once a man has departed from this world, he can not be brought back to life. A tree, on the other hand, though seemingly lifeless, can be revived. Similarly, Isaiah writes that though a tree appears dead after it sheds its leaves in the fall, the trunk remains from which the tree will flower again in the spring. Isaiah compares the Children of Israel to the tree. Though at times it appears that they will be annihilated and cease to exist, a holy remnant always remains from which they will grow anew and flourish (Isaiah 6:13). After centuries of countless battles over the Land of Israel, the holy soil aches to renew and blossom once again, just as the Jewish people yearn to revive the national spirit.

Tears Turn to Joy ✡ "God Will Comfort Zion" - JERUSALEM365

Jerusalem Inspiration

The Land of Israel has a supernatural quality to it.  While under foreign occupation, it was nothing more than an arid desert.  However, under Jewish sovereignty, it comes to life, flourishes, and yields great produce.  Plant a tree in Israel and be a part of the amazing miracle of Israel's glorious rejuvination.

From Tears to Joy

Thousands gathered in Jerusalem on Thursday, November 26, 2015, to celebrate the wedding of Sarah Techiya Litman and Ariel Biegel. Litman’s father and brother were murdered by terrorists while on their way to a pre-wedding celebration earlier in November.

“Very Happy with my Recent Purchase at the Israel365 Store

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send mean email and let me know how you are enjoying Jerusalem365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).
Dear Rabbi Tuly, I've been receiving Israel365 newsletters for around 7 months now and would like to thank you and all your team for everything: the Bible verses in Hebrew, the real news, videos, songs, gorgeous pictures of Israel. It's such a blessing and comfort to know that so many people around the world are keeping Israel and the Jewish people close to their hearts and eagerly waiting for our Jewish Messiah who will bring real peace for all nations. Here, in France, I'm grieved to see the distorted news (if any) of Israel and the recent labelling of Israeli goods. They have even boycotted all news of Israeli solidarity with France following the recent Paris terror attacks. I'm very happy with my recent purchase at the Israel365 store and would like to say that BDS is like boycotting God's blessings! Shalom, Mrs Geeta Hemraj-Ujoodha Bordeaux, France

"A Tamarisk in the Desert" ✡ Plant a Tree in the Holy Land!

For he shall be like a tamarisk in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited.

JEREMIAH (17:6)

v'-ha-ya k'-ar-ar ba-a-ra-va v'-lo yir-e kee ya-vo tov v'-sha-khan kha-ray-reem ba-mid-bar e-retz m'-lay-kha v'-lo tay-shayv

Today's Israel Inspiration

To illustrate the difference between trusting in God and trusting in man, Jeremiah paints a strong contrast between two vivid images. One who relies on man is compared to a small shrub in the barren and rocky desert called the tamarisk. The  Hebrew name for this plant is 'arar' (עַרְעָר), similar to the Hebrew word for childless 'areeree' (עֲרִירִי), invoking feelings of lifelessness and emptiness. Someone who relies on the Lord, however, is likened to a majestic tree with deep roots beside the ever-flowing river, growing tall and whose branches provide shelter from the heat. Israel has two choices: they could trust in God and remain secure in their Land, flourishing like the tree by the river; or cut themselves off from the Divine presence and choose to be exiled to the wilderness of the tamarisk. Now more than ever we must be stalwart in our faith in the Almighty to protect the Land of Israel and to help her flourish. Show your faith and be part of Israel's blossoming by planting a tree today.

World Premiere: New Music Video Set in Israel

This amazing new music video by a family of Christian Zionists is a beautiful tribute to the restoration of the Land of Israel. You'll love it!

Bring Redemption

Upon first impression, the Waller family seems to be your average pro-Israel Christian family. However, once you dig deeper, you realize they are anything but. The Waller family has made it their mission to work the soil of the Holy Land of Israel in order to hasten the ultimate redemption.

Arise and Ascend: A Guide to the Temple Mount

"Arise and Ascend" is designed to be a practical guide for visitors as they tour the Temple Mount and nearby points of interest, providing historical background and insight into the present situation on the controversial site. The book, produced by noted Temple Mount rights advocate and scholar Rabbi Yehudah Glick and available exclusively on Israel365, is a one-of-a-kind glimpse into Judaism's holiest place.

Mentioned in I Samuel 30:9-21, Nachal Besor was the resting place for a portion of King David's army during a victorious battle against the Amalekites. The name of the river in Hebrew, "Besor," means "good tidings."
