Oscar the Turkey - getting ready for the big day?

Our daughter Christen has a turkey. They named him (her?) Oscar. Maybe it is Oscarette? They are not sure if he/she will be invited to the Thanksgiving Day table, to be "gobbled" up. Ha!

Happy birthday to my dear mother-in-law

Lorraine Unzicker!

Happy birthday to my dear mother-in-law Lorraine Unzicker! She no longer is celebrating with a party here, but sure is having a grand time with her Lord Jesus in heaven! Her mansion is by far much bigger than the home she lived in here (for 55+ years.) Now she has an eternal place in glory land.

Today, October 7, 2015, she would have been either 94 or 95 I think (her three daughters will advise me!) She left this planet on July 31, 2014.

Lorraine, you sure have blessings on ye head now. See you when we get there too!

P.S. How do I so easily remember her birthday? It is always the day before my wedding anniversary, which I must never forget! 38 years tomorrow, Oct. 8, 2015. Another big thank-you to Lorraine and Otto for giving me such a treasure here on earth, Miss Laura Jean Unzicker Martin, to serve together in the Lord's calling and purposes.)
