Dirt track and Rascal Flatts's "Bless the Broken Road" - a good combination for dreams. Videos and photos

Dirt track and Rascal Flatts's "Bless the Broken Road"
- a good combination for dreams. Videos and photos

I enjoy going to the races - whether it be NASCAR here in my home city of Charlotte, North Carolina, a track in Iowa, or the Daytona 500, which I took my oldest grandson Daniel to in 2023.

With my friend Keith Devera, the Antioch International Church Men's Group leader, we went to my first dirt track race at the Millbridge Speedway in Salisbury, North Carolina, on Wednesday night, Aug. 13, 2025.

I created a little Facebook reel from a few photos and added the Rascal Flatts' song. "Broken Road" to the reel.

Dreams are made and dreams are broken. But for those who know the Lord Jesus, His plans and purposes are always, "Yah and amen!".

Enjoy the short reel.

My new hat brought home some souvenir dust.

Just sitting in the stands, I got a bit of the dust and dirt!

Caleb Bacon takes the lead

Final race of the night. And the dust and dirt fly!
