Laurie and I, through the ministry of Love For His People we founded in 2010, give love and support for our friends in Israel with humanitarian aid, social media support, Steve's messages of encouragement, and our Ahava Adventures annual trips to Israel. Steve has also authored and published 37 books. We live in the Charlotte, NC area, and have four adult children, spouses and eight grand kids.

I enjoy going to the races - whether it be NASCAR here in my home city of Charlotte, North Carolina, a track in Iowa, or the Daytona 500, which I took my oldest grandson Daniel to in 2023.

With my friend Keith Devera, the Antioch International Church Men's Group leader, we went to my first dirt track race at the Millbridge Speedway in Salisbury, North Carolina, on Wednesday night, Aug. 13, 2025.

I created a little Facebook reel from a few photos and added the Rascal Flatts' song. "Broken Road" to the reel. 

Dreams are made and dreams are broken. But for those who know the Lord Jesus, His plans and purposes are always, "Yah and amen!".

Stevens Creek Nature Preserve in Mint Hill (Charlotte), NC - Come Walk With Me and two grandsons (6 short videos and photos)

We had never been to this nature reserve in western Charlotte, North Carolina, in Mint Hill. We enjoyed it and walked a whole 4-mile round trip on the beautiful groomed trails. Shorter trails are also easily accessible. Come walk with me and the boys as we first tour the reception area, with hands-on stations for the kids, and then proceed outside into the beautiful Carolina nature preserve. Very enjoyable.
