Who is Righteous? ✡ "The Land Allotted To The Righteous" - Israel365

The scepter of the wicked shall never rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, that the righteous not set their hand to wrongdoing.
Psalms 135:21 (The Israel Bible™)

Who is Righteous?

Yerushayim (Jerusalem) is not only filled with righteousness, it even causes its its residents to be righteous and just. The Ramban (nachmanides), in his commentary (Genesis 14:18), points out that from time immemorial, the nations of the world have recognized the uniqueness of Yerushalayim. Physically, Yerushalayim is in a prime location at the center of the country.  Spiritually, they knew it is aligned with the heavenly Temple where God’s spirit dwells on high, and is the site He selected for the Beit Hamikdash (Holy Temple).

Hashem's Dwelling Place ✡ "He Who Dwells In Yerushalayim" - Israel365

Blessed is Hashem from Tzion, He who dwells in Yerushalayim. Hallelujah.

בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה מִצִּיּוֹן שֹׁכֵן יְרוּשָׁלִָם הַלְלוּ־יָהּ

תהילים קלה: כא
ba-RUKH a-do-NAI mi-tzi-YON sho-KHAYN y’-ru-sha-LA-im ha-l’-lu-YAH

Today's Israel Inspiration

Why did Hashem choose Jerusalem as His resting place? The Sages provided two Biblical passages which together teach us the significance of Jerusalem. In Genesis, Abraham was tested by God and asked to sacrifice his son. This test took place on a mountain which Abraham called "Adonai yir'eh" meaning 'on the mount where Hashem is seen' (Genesis 22:14). Years earlier, Abraham proved his allegiance to justice when he fought against the Four Kings and saved his nephew Lot. After that battle, Melchizedek, the King of Shalem, went out to greet Abraham and bless Hashem (Genesis 14:18-20). The names Yir'eh and Shalem, when combined, form Yerushalayim. The name of the holy city expresses the harmonization of man's selfless actions towards Hashem and his peers. Keep the spiritual meaning of the holy city close to you at all times with beautiful jewelry inspired by Jerusalem.

Today We Rejoice Over Jerusalem's Reunification! ✡ "Blessed is God From Zion" - ISRAEL365

Blessed is God from Zion, He Who dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah!

בָּרוּךְ יְ-הוָה מִצִּיּוֹן שֹׁכֵן יְרוּשָׁלִָם הַלְלוּ-יָהּ

Today's Israel Inspiration

The name of the Holy City of Jerusalem in Hebrew is Yerushalayim, ירושלים. This very special name has two important words inside it. Yirah meas fear, and it is a combination of awe and fear that everyone is supposed to have for the Almighty God.  Anyone who has ever been to this holiest of cities can surely feel this tremendous level of connection to God. The second word is Shalom, peace. The prayer of all who serve God is that He will bless the entire world with peace. The best place to make a close connection to God and to pray for peace is in His Holy City, Jerusalem.

IDF Soldiers Liberate the Old City of Jerusalem

In June 1967, Israel’s soldiers overcame Arab troops and reached the Western Wall — the ancient remnant of the Jewish temple. At that moment, the Old City of Jerusalem, lost to the Jewish people for 2,000 years, was finally in Israel’s hands.

Trump Makes History Praying at the Holiest Site in Israel

Only a few short days before the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, President Donald Trump along with his wife Melania and daughter Ivanka made history as they visited the Western Wall in the Old City. As the last remnant of the ancient Holy Temple, the Western Wall has held a prominent spot in Jewish consciousness for centuries. Since the establishment of the modern State of Israel in 1948 and more importantly, since the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967, Jews from around the world have made the journey to be able to touch the stones of the Western Wall and pray at this holy site. In a great show of solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people, Trump is the first sitting US President to have visited the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem.
