עוד ישמע בערי יהודה ובחוצות ירושלים - קול ששון וקול שמחה קול חתן וקול כלה
Thus says the L-rd, Yet again there will be heard in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem the voice of joy & the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom & the voice of the bride!
Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,
Oh, how we thank you for praying for us during the wedding of our son Avi-Asher and his beautiful bride, Liora. The L-rd truly anointed Richard as he presented the Good News during the ceremony! Enjoy photos from Yad HaShmona near Jerusalem and thank you for praying for Avi and Liora's destiny in the Land!
The Harvest and Signs of War
The beautiful love story of Ruth and Boaz was acted out at Kehilat Ha Carmel by Shayla and Ariel (Carolyn played Naomi) followed by a clear presentation of the Good News by Ariel. At the end many came forward to receive Yeshua - praise G-d for an incredible Shavuot blessing!
Recently I picked up a hitch-hiker who confirmed what we're hearing. The young man, who was returning from war exercises in the Golan, repeatedly exclaimed, "You won't believe what's coming!" He was referring to the chaos happening with ISIS in Syria and about how Israel might find herself in the midst of it. I told him that I know what's coming because the L-rd has shown me. He didn't understand. So I told him to keep his eyes on the L-rd and gave him a Psalm 91 bandanna and the "Supernatural or Just Remarkable" booklet while sharing with him about G-d's promises and the Messiah of Israel. He gratefully thanked me and yet continued to exclaim, "But you won't believe what's coming!" L-rd have mercy and open our eyes to see You!
Journey to France, Switzerland and Germany
The L-rd has called us to return to Europe to continue to call Jewish people home and to raise up more Jeremiah 16:16 fishermen among the Body of Messiah. We're continually amazed when we respond to G-d's call about how He opens doors that we could never imagine! Just before the wedding, I was incredibly busy and yet the L-rd called me to go up to a conference in Jerusalem. So I went and I discovered that G-d had prepared the hearts of several French believers to receive me. As I spoke with them I could see a light in their eyes when they realized that G-d wanted to use them in a significant way to call the Jewish people home. Many are already playing an integral part in this journey! Here is our schedule, G-d willing of course!

Please support the new CFMDA - Christian Friends of MDA as they stand with Israel and bring medical help and comfort to our people Israel in times of distress.
Come to our home in the beautiful Galilee for worship, Israeli folk dancing and hear how the L-rd is moving in Israel today. Enjoy dinner from our balcony with its beautiful view of the Kineret (Sea of Galilee), Golan and Jordan Valley!
Worship CD's from Israel with songs in Hebrew, English and some German and Spanish!
We are so grateful for your love, prayers and support as we reach the lost with the love of our Messiah! At the wedding alone one out of three were pre-believers in Yeshua and they all heard the Good News of the Holy One of Israel!
We write L-rd and G-d in this way because it's a Jewish custom that Carolyn grew up with and it's done only out of reverence and honor for the name of the L-rd. Thanks for understanding.
My first car didn't have power steering. It was a '67 Chevy, with bench seats and an 8-track player, from which I played Barry Manilow at full volume. I was a young girl, and he wrote songs of love and special things that made me cry.
You didn't try to eat a soft-serve cone while driving that car, because it took both hands and upper body strength to turn the wheel, which had the diameter of a large Chicago pizza.
My heart doesn't seem to have power steering either.
I say this, because I see the words "trust" and "lean" in the Bible, but it takes more than an index finger of movement to get my soul going in that direction.
This weekend I was stressed about money, and I'm just going to come out and say it. For some reason, I fan out the deep issues of my life for you to see, but money matters seem too personal to share. But don't we all deal with financial concerns every day? And Jesus talked about money a lot, so maybe I should talk about it, too.
I was awake at 3:00 in the morning running every worst case checkbook scenario I could think of. The antithesis of counting sheep. What if we get hit with a big medical expense this year? What if the furnace goes out? What if the hot water heater goes out? What if they both go out at the same time? What if gas prices skyrocket this summer? What if painting the house costs more than I budgeted?
I let my thoughts veer into the ditch of fear and hopelessness.
But that made me cranky, because I am a person of faith trying to encourage you to be people of faith. Why is it so hard to just trust the Lord with these things?
I decided it is hard. Hard work to steer our thinking.
So I put on tennis shoes, even though I didn't feel like it, and got on the treadmill. For 30 minutes I put effort into trusting the Lord. I mentally walked through some Bible verses I have memorized, and I lined up my thoughts about money with those truths from God's word. I acknowledged the greatness of God. I gave thanks. I begged for help in getting my thoughts going in a right direction.
When I stepped off the treadmill, I was joyful and calm. I was a new person.
But it wasn't an easy turn of the heart.
Three of My Go-To Verses When I Have Money Anxiety
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7 (I always replace the words "chariots" and "horses" with whatever I'm tempted to lean on at the moment, like a savings account balance.)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 (Anxiety, fear and hopelessness are flashing signals that tell me I'm leaning the wrong direction.)
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9 (God probably has a solution to my financial concerns that is beyond my imagination.)
Money concerns are always going to be stressful and will always challenge our faith, but I figure if I can maneuver a tank of a '57 Chevy that lacks power steering, I know you and I can do the work to keep our thoughts between the lines.

A U.S. Marine has been convicted at a court-martial for displaying a Bible verse. Now her case is being appealed to the military's highest court.
When Lance Cpl. Monifa Sterling has was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, she posted Isaiah 54:17, which reads, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper."
Liberty Institute reports she printed out the verse and posted it in her workspace. Her supervisor complained about it, reportedly cursing at her and telling her to remove it.
Sterling contended she had a First Amendment right to religious expression and did not take down the verse. She says the next day her supervisor tore down the verse and threw it in the trash.
The U.S. government then criminally prosecuted Sterling.
In the case, Sterling argued her First Amendment rights to religious expression, as well as her protection under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, or RFRA.
Both the trial court and the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals said the RFRA did not apply because displaying a Bible verse does not constitute religious exercise.
"If the government can order a Marine not to display a Bible verse, they could try and order her not to get a religious tattoo, or go to church on Sunday," said Liberty Institute Director of Military Affairs and Senior Counsel Mike Berry.
"Restricting a Marine's free exercise of religion is blatantly unconstitutional," he charged.
Now former U.S. Solicitor General Paul Clement and Liberty Institute are appealing on Sterling's behalf, asking the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces to take the case and protect Sterling's right to religious freedom.
The Psalmist's beautiful metaphor goes on to describe a shepherd gently guiding his flock to a stream of water, just as the Almighty guides and straighten our paths with His mercy. Today in the hills of the Land of Israel, a modern-day shepherd, Avraham Herzlich, has opened his grazing land for visitors to learn about this biblical way of life. His interactive Shepherd's Tent has attracted many visitors from around the world, but the tent needs to be repaired and expanded to facilitate a flow of expected tours this coming year. You can take part in this building project and have your name in the Visitor's Center! There are many opportunities for everyone to be included, from sponsoring a wooden bench or picnic table, to "adopting" goats, and much more. With special gift options and progress reports, you'll be proud of your connection to the Holy Land.
A great educational video to finally understand what is the West Bank, and whose land is it anyway?! Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs clearly explains the historical facts.
Yoel Zilberman, 30, was determined not to give up his father's piece of the Holy Land to thieves and encroachers, and together with his IDF buddies, began to guard his father's ranch. The idea spread like wildfire to help desperate Israeli ranchers.
Dear Rabbi Tuly, I want to thank you for so much interesting information concerning Jerusalem and her beautiful people! I am so grateful to God for the technology to be able to reach out to you. I love to read about God's people and their land, to see amazing pictures and to learn new things about Israel... B. Laurie Mapplebeck. Port Hope, Ontario, Canada
Hi, I am Aumita from Fiji. I love receiving updates from the Israel Breaking News. I am a staunch Christian and I would love to one day, set foot on Israel soil. To see for myself the land that was given to your forefathers by God... Am praying that the time will be sooner than later... All the news that I receive just confirms everything that is in the Bible. May the Lord our God bless us both - Aumita T. Varasiko, Fiji
"I am the God of the turnaround! For some time now you have been asking Me when things are going to turn around - when the winds of change are going to start blowing, when the winds of favor will head your way. Well, the time is now, and I'm going to begin to restore everything that the locust has eaten!
"It's time for your turnaround. Did I not make a pathway for My people through the Red Sea? Did I not provide water from a rock to give refreshment? Did I not send manna and quail to feed My people? Did I not give direction by a cloud during the day and a pillar of fire during the night to lead them?
"If I did that for My people then don't I care just as much about you? Can I not bring order from your chaos or refreshment from the dry places in your life? Can I not resurrect even the dead things?"
"For I know the plans I have for you,' says the LORD. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
"This is not a time to fold your hands and fall asleep. It's a time to decree and declare that you have victory through Me. So ask Me today for your turnaround.
I'm releasing favor over you. I'm restoring your honor and giving you a fresh mandate from heaven. I am ready to arise and scatter your enemies." (See Psalms 68:1)
New Influence and Favor
New territory, New anointing, New favor!
Time is short; your days on this Earth are numbered. Don't squander the precious moments you have left. Life's curtain will close suddenly before you know it, but today I see The Lord Jesus reaching out to you and gently calling your name - wooing you closer to Him in 2015.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Matthew 6:33
Jesus was pretty clear when He said to forsake all and follow Him. What He said then He also means now; even if that means doing things with which we're not comfortable, pushing away anything that hinders our relationship with Him, or sacrificing the things we want most. "I desire to give you new territory, a new anointing and divine favor...but will you seek me first? I desire to establish you but will you first establish me in your heart?"
As you seek the Lord first and make Him your first love, He will honor you and bring you forth as pure gold.
God honors us when He is honored as our top priority. He's jealous of us. (Deuteronomy 4:24)
I encourage you to let Jesus Christ be at the forefront of your thoughts and the guide of your heart this year. He will put everything else into place. He will establish you; give you a new beginning and a fresh start. He will place a fresh anointing and favor on your life as He has already promised. Seek intimacy with the Lord, lay at His feet, resting in His presence this coming year and watch Him establish you beyond what you could ever imagine!
"Begin again! New beginnings! Fresh Starts," says the Lord!
