Franklin Graham is as passionate about America as anyone. But it appears he also sees some writing on the wall.

Graham took to Facebook to share his fears about our Republic, making direct comparisons to Iraq 2,500 years ago.

"It was known as the Babylonian empire and had the largest military in the world at that time. Its king, Belshazzar, was having a big party drinking and boasting with his wives, his mistresses, and his nobles," Graham says. "While they were partying, the hand of God appeared and wrote a message on the wall, terrifying everyone including King Belshazzar."

As the account in the fifth chapter of Daniel goes, Belshazzar's face grew pale and his knees grew weak. Daniel interpreted the handwriting on the wall. "This is the interpretation of the message: Mene: God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it. Tekel: you have been weighed in the balances and are found wanting. Peres: your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians" (Dan. 5:26-28).

"Daniel warns Belshazzar that he is guilty of worshiping false gods... That very night the king was slain and the kingdom was lost to their enemies. What's the writing on the wall for America? As a nation we are found lacking because of sin and disobedience to God's Holy Word," Graham says. "We have not honored Him. If we don't turn back to God, I fear that our end will be near."

I respect Graham and agree that we need to turn back to God. Thankfully, it doesn't take the whole nation. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Thankfully, it doesn't require every single one of God's people—and a remnant is contending for the prophesied Third Great Awakening even now.

I'm not into the "judgment scene," but I do believe God does send—and is sending—warnings to America. I believe we reap what we sow. I believe where there is unfettered sin, there is ultimately death. And although some like to make the argument that many nations are more sinful than America, consider this: To whom much is given, much is required (Luke 12:48). As a world power, America has done much good. But the foundations of our Christian heritage are fast eroding. The seven mountains of society—economy, government, family, spirituality, education, media and arts—are shaping an idolatrous, New Age culture.

In April 2007, the Holy Ghost woke me up at midnight and told me a shaking was coming with the purpose of laying bare the sin in the land. He told me He requires repentance for abortion, prayerlessness, apathy and idolatry. He also told me there is a Great Awakening coming to the nation and that it would get darker before the light shines brightly again. And so it has.

Again, I'm not one to prophesy judgment. Jesus came to save the world, not condemn it (John 3:17). I believe the blood of Jesus is sufficient for the sins of America. I believe God is a covenant-keeping God, and I believe that it will be just as it was told to me. I believe we will see a Third Great Awakening.

Watch Japan – For All Is Not Well In The Land Of The Rising Sun Posted: 05 Apr 2016 Michael Snyder  THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG One of the epicenters of the global financial crisis that started during the second half of last year is Japan, and it looks like the markets in the land of the rising sun are entering yet another period of great turmoil.  The Nikkei was down another 390 points last night, and it is now down more than 1,300 points since a week ago.  Why this is so important for U.S. investors is because the Nikkei is often an early warning indicator of where the rest of the global markets are heading.   For example, the Nikkei started crashing early last December about a month before U.S. markets started crashing really hard in early January.  So the fact that the Nikkei has been falling very rapidly in recent days should be a huge red flag for investors in this country. I want you to study the chart below very carefully.  It shows the performance of the Nikkei over the past 12 months.  As you can see, it kind of resembles a giant leaning “W”.  You can see the stock crash that started last August, you can see the second wave of the crash that began last December, and now a third leg of the crash is currently forming… And of course the economic fundamentals in Japan continue to deteriorate as well.  GDP growth has been negative for two out of the last three quarters, Japanese industrial production just experienced the largest one month decline that we have seen since the tsunami of 2011, and business sentiment has sunk to a three year low. The third largest economy on the entire planet is in a comatose state at this point, and Japanese authorities have been throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it in an attempt to revive it.  Government stimulus programs have pushed the debt to GDP ratio to 229 percent, and the quantitative easing that the Bank of Japan has been engaged in has made the Federal Reserve look timid by comparison. But none of those extraordinary measures has been successful in stimulating the Japanese economy, so now the Bank of Japan has been been trying negative interest rates.  Unfortunately, these negative rates are also having some unintended consequences.  According to the Wall Street Journal, the negative interest rate program is putting additional stress on the Japanese financial sector… The Bank of Japan started imposing a minus 0.1% rate on some deposits held by commercial banks in February, meaning that those banks now have to pay a small fee when they add to their money parked at the central bank. The financial sector has suffered amid worries that banks can’t pass on negative interest rate to their depositors and therefore will take a hit to their profits. I would keep a very close eye on the big banks in Japan.  It is my conviction that there is a lot more brewing under the surface than we are being told about so far. In addition, many analysts in Japan are complaining that all of this manipulation by the BOJ is essentially destroying normal market behavior.  The following comes from Bloomberg… Nobuyasu Atago, who also had worked at the BOJ and is now the chief economist at Okasan Securities Co., pointed out that instead of serving as a important source of cash for borrowers, the credit market has become a profit center for dealers looking to buy securities from investors and sell them to the central bank. While the strategy may be lucrative now, financial institutions face the risk of massive losses, he said. “By making the trade with the BOJ the only source of profit, markets are exposed to unexpected volatility when that trade ends and the BOJ moves toward the exit,” Atago said. “Markets are being destroyed.” The more global central banks try to “fix things”, the more they make our long-term imbalances even worse. To me, it makes no sense to have a bunch of unelected, unaccountable central planners constantly monkeying with the financial system.  In a true free market system, we would allow market forces to determine the course of events.  But of course we don’t have a free market system anymore.  Instead, what we have is a heavily socialized system that is greatly manipulated by the central planners. That is why global financial markets gyrate wildly if Janet Yellen so much as sneezes.  They know who holds all the power, and investors are constantly on edge as they wait for the latest pronouncement from our central banking overlords. At this point, 99 percent of the global population lives in a country with a central bank.  Our world is more deeply divided than ever, and yet somehow everyone in the world has agreed to adopt this insidious system. It sure is quite a coincidence, isn’t it? Getting back to Japan, things are so bad now that the Japanese government is actually considering giving gift certificates directly to low-income young people.  The following originally comes from Bloomberg… The Japanese government plans to include gift certificates for low-income young people in its fiscal 2016 supplementary budget, Sankei reports, without saying who provided the information. Recipients would be able to use them for daily necessities. The government sees gift certificates as more effective in stimulating consumption than cash handouts, which may be deposited. This is what the end of democracy looks like. When the government just starts handing out money like candy, you might as well turn out the lights because the party is over. Since 2008, global central banks have cut interest rates 637 times and they have injected approximately 12.3 trillion dollars into the global financial system through various quantitative easing programs. Has all of this monkeying around solved our problems? Of course not. Instead, our long-term problems have grown progressively worse and now a new financial crisis has begun. How common it is for us to get into the car and turn the radio or CD on. Listen to some music. Catch the latest news. Drown out the work thoughts so you can leave them behind on the commute home.

It used to be an automatic thing for me. Once the car had started, I would reach over and push the knob on. The noise was there.

But then the Lord would ask me, “Do you want to spend some time with Me on the way home?” When I first heard that question months ago, I had the guilt trip of wanting time to myself, and do what I wanted to do. But then I realized He wanted to have some time with me; not take away my “own” time.

After the learning incident, I now ask before I just go into auto pilot and switch on the radio. “Anything you’d like to talk about, Lord?” Sometimes I also realize that He just wants to train my mind to take a break, and not feel the necessity to always have something going on. I am learning that more often than we think our Lord is wanting to teach us the importance of experiencing quiet, or allow Him to speak to us, if we take the time.

Have you ever thought why it is that some prisoners come to the Lord while incarcerated? It may be because they are finally in a place where things stop moving all around them, or in particular themselves, and they have that quiet time, undisturbed by outside stimulus. He has them in a place where they can finally listen.

Similarly, I know people who have gotten sick, and would later tell me, “God had to slow me down so He could speak to me.”

Maybe we can initiate the time ourselves, before the Lord would have to allow a sickness, or even imprisonment in some cases, to get our attention? But it seems history proves otherwise. The Lord will get our attention, using any means He desires, for our own good in the long run.

Keeping this message short will give you time to stop, listen, and acknowledge His desire to speak to you. That will be a good thing for you.

Egypt Accuses Archeologists of Faking Stars of David in Ancient Temple

The ruins of a Roman Temple, dating back to the third century BCE, is the center of a storm of Egyptian controversy owing to a pair of six-pointed stars found engraved at the site. According to a report by The Jerusalem Post, the ruins are located on the Elephantine Island in the southern Egyptian city of Aswan.

Dr. Mahmoud Afifi, the head of the Egyptian Antiquities branch in the Antiquities Ministry, said he noticed the engravings, which resemble the Star of David which appears on the Israeli flag, on a stone. He accused the German archaeologists assisting in the temple reconstruction of carving the stars into the stone.

Afifi demanded the German team immediately remove the offending stone, threatening legal action if the archaeologists repeat the move.

One Egyptian news site, Suezbalady, went so far as to accuse a Jewish member of the German team of vandalism with the intent of harming Egyptian culture.

Newly appointed Egyptian Antiquities Minister Khaled Anani visited the shrine at Aswan Saturday. He then issued a press release stating that he had instructed the joint Egyptian-German group to submit a scientific report about the two engravings found on one of the temple’s walls.

“The report will include a picture of the stone under discussion from the time it was discovered, to explore its archaeological repercussions without the two Star of David engravings,” Anani said.

“We will be aided by an expert of Islamic antiquities to understand whether the Sign of David was common in that early period,” Anani announced.

It should be noted that despite its strong modern associations with the State of Israel, the Star of David, known in Hebrew as the magen David, or shield of David, was not historically a uniquely Jewish symbol. It can be found in the iconography of many religious groups, including both Christians and Muslims. Its Hebrew name evokes the Biblical King David, known as a great warrior and faithful servant of God.

As you are aware, we entered 5776 at Rosh Hashanah in September of last year. In our culture, we became resolute to advance on Jan. 1, 2016. Now we have come to the final preparations to keep pressing to Passover and VAV (or stake claim) to the best of our destined future.

Only the Lord could have orchestrated such an incredible Firstfruits Weekend to propel us into our next season of ascension! As we came to bring our first and best to the LORD, He ordered the best revelation that we could have for this time. All three of our gatherings brought forth key revelation for this season. If we will be focused from this moment forth for the next six weeks, then everything that we are asking the Lord about we will find manifesting in a new way.

Understanding the Process of Firstfruits, the Biblical Key to Prosperity

God planned for His people to meet corporately and worship each month. This celebration is called Rosh Chodesh. This celebration occurred in both Old and New Testament history. This was a major key to the early church's power and success.

Proverbs 3:9-10 says, "Honor the Lord with your substance, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your presses will burst out with new wine" (MEV).

In Romans 11:16, "For if the firstfruits is holy, the lump is also holy!" We sanctify our finances by giving God our firstfruits. We sanctify our time by giving God a firstfruits also!

By participating in firstfruits we are:

• Reminded that God is the Source of all Blessings!
• Disciplined to seek His kingdom first!
• Stirred to remember that He is to be our first Love!
• Released into revelation that directs us from the wave offering until the time of gathering the harvest!
• Assured of confidence that our Father will always provide!
• Initiated into a new expectation of a visitation and harvest that will come in days ahead.

By disciplining yourself to participate in firstfruits celebrations, the process of watching over our inheritance matures. This leads to your promises being fulfilled! Firstfruits celebrations demonstrate and move us closer to the final "ingathering" that is being developed in our hearts (Heb. 11:13-14; Eph. 1:11, 14, 18; Col. 1:12; 1 Pet. 1:4).

A Key Firstfruit Adar 2 Prophecy!

"The next six weeks will be a time of un-downing your nest. For many of you have grown accustomed to the place where your nest is, but I will be removing the down in the nest that you're in. This removal will be the preparation of propelling you into the future I have for you.

"Do not be discouraged from the pricking that you go through over these next six weeks. For the pricking, and the pricks that you hear coming, are part of the un-nesting that will propel you higher as you begin to be pushed into the next dimension of your destiny. This is My time of pushing you forth.

"As you have heard today, mercy will come, mercy will come, mercy will come, mercy will come, mercy will come, and mercy will come again! I will have a people rising above the fray in this land!"

Shout, "Let there be light!" Declare this is your time of recalibration! Decree triumph over the five-dimensions of enemies that would try to come against you. This is your time to enter into the preparation for your next level of ascending!

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Paul Ryan stressed that the US relationship with Israel is more important than ever at a meeting this morning, April 4, at the Knesset with Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein.

“We will work shoulder to shoulder with you against threats,“ Speaker Ryan said. “That’s why I came here and this is the point I wanted to stress.”

“Our friendship with Israel is more important to us than it was in the past,” Ryan added at the meeting with his Israeli counterpart.

Following Congressional legislation last June requiring European trade partners to reject BDS, members of Congress introduced the Combating BDS Act of 2016 this past February, which gave federal approval to US states to divest from or prohibit investment in entities associated with BDS [the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement against Israel].

“I and members of Congress are working and fighting vigorously with every discovery of BDS and boycott of Israel,” Ryan emphasized.

Paul Ryan has been Speaker of the House for about half a year after having been elected to the position last October following the resignation of his predecessor John Boehner. Ryan elaborated upon his display of friendship with Israel during his current tenure as Speaker of the House.

“I entered the position not too long ago and my first work meeting was with President Reuven Rivlin,” noted Ryan. “Also, this trip of mine to Israel is my first [as Speaker of the House].”

“This was not done by accident,” continued Ryan. “I wanted to come to Israel first to emphasize the level of US commitment to Israel and the valiant friendship with Israel is important to us.”

Speaker Edelstein also expressed his appreciation for the friendship between the United States and Israel.

“We know we have true friends in the US, in Congress, and in the White House,” Edelstein said to Ryan. “I very much appreciate your presence here along with an entourage of other members of Congress.”

“Return to your Calling”

I believe God desperately does not want to judge the United States. The Lord takes no pleasure in judging any nation, and though many might disagree, I believe there is a special calling on America. The U.S. is unique in so many ways. We are a country that broke away from an oppressive king to create, what I believe to be, the greatest democracy in history. Just as Israel has a calling—and I believe every nation has a calling—America has a calling.

You have probably never heard of Alexis de Tocqueville. He was a French sociologist and political theorist who was sent to America in the early 1800s and became obsessed with why this burgeoning new democracy was working so well. He documented his study in a widely quoted book “Democracy in America” (1835).

In a nutshell, his conclusion was freedom and equality:

“Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom, socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number. Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

This was the beauty that was America. We were once the world’s leader. We have inspired other democracies. We stood up to the enemy in WWI. We defeated Hitler in WWII. We acknowledged and challenged the Cold War. And we overcame 9/11 to take on Radical Islam—at least for a while.

God raised up the U.S. at a unique time in world history to keep order. Our country was founded on a covenant with God! Our Declaration of Independence and Constitution have endured to insure freedom for every U.S. citizen.

The artist Jon McNaughton writes:

On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed. It had no less than five references to God. The third reference states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.”

Those who represented our future nation specifically point to God as the giver of our rights. The fifth mention of God is in the last paragraph where it states, “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”

We all know the seven most famous words of Patrick Henry, but read the whole quote:

“An appeal to arms and the God of hosts is all that is left us. But we shall not fight our battle alone. There is a just God that presides over the destinies of nations. The battle sir, is not of the strong alone. Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it Almighty God. I know not what course others may take, but as for me, GIVE ME LIBERTY, OR GIVE ME DEATH!”

Once a colonist, Isaac Potts, who had sided with the British, caught George Washington crying out to God for victory in the midst of the war. “‘Such a prayer I never heard from the lips of man. I left him alone praying.” Potts felt the power of this prayer and ran home and told his wife, “We’re on the side of George Washington. I’m changing, I’m changing sides because we’re going to win this.”

When Washington was trapped and all seemed lost, he told his men that they would cross the East River. As dawn came, the British ships would surely see them. But a fog descended upon Washington and his men and the revolution continued. Those present all record in their journals that the fog was not on the Manhattan side or the Long Island side, just over them. Yes, God had a plan for America. According to award-winning author, Timothy Ballard, one of the founding fathers, John Witherspoon, a Presbyterian minister prophesied, “We will win this war because the Grand Artist will utilize the elements.”

In the 20th century, we were called to stand up against communism and the Soviet Union. Through Ronald Reagan, the USSR was bankrupted as she sought to keep pace with America in the arms race. You see, this is our call, but our present president calls it American arrogance— something for which we need to apologize. He has sought for the past seven years to move us away from that all-so-important calling, and instead become just like everyone else. But when the U.S. is just like everyone else, everyone else suffers—as we are now seeing all over the world.

Our first president warned in his first speech, if we stray from the path of God, we should not expect God’s blessing.

“Since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained. And since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of Government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”

This coming election and the nomination of the next Supreme Court Justice could be the difference between revival and judgment on America. I don’t want to pretend that a right-wing president would necessarily bring blessing on the nation. Yet when I look at the moral and spiritual decline America has endured during the last seven years, I can’t imagine where we will be in seven more years without a change of direction.

In order to pray for our nation, we must first face head-on where our political leaders, artists, pop icons together with scientists, judges and professors have taken this nation as they turned their backs on the One True God.
