Israel's Oldest Charity ✡ "Went Out Unto his Brethren" - ISRAEL365

And it came to pass in those days, when Moshe was grown up, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens;

וַיְהִי בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם וַיִּגְדַּל מֹשֶׁה וַיֵּצֵא אֶל אֶחָיו וַיַּרְא בְּסִבְלֹתָם

שמות ב:יא

va-y'-hee ba-ya-meem ha-haym va-yig-dal mo-she va-yay-tzay el e-khav va-yar b'-siv-lo-tam

Jerusalem Inspiration

From today's verse we can appreciate the greatness of our leader Moses.  From the luxurious palace of Pharoah, Moses goes out, unbidden, to share in the burdens of his brethren.  Seeing the tragedy of the Jewish enslavement sets in motion the events that lead up to the eventual Exodus.  As Passover draws near, we strive to emulate Moses' infinite compassion by providing holiday needs for those who struggle to prepare for themselves. Colel Chabad is Israel's oldest charity organization that provides these holiday esentials for widows and orphans in particular.

If the Passover story happened today, just imagine how the media would cover it!

The Nile River Has turned
to Blood?

The Ten Plagues seemed to make a return over the weekend as photos emerged of the Nile River in Egypt looking just as the Book of Exodus described it thousands of years ago.

Jerusalem Photo Trivia

Daniel Santacruz captures the beauty of spring blossoming along the outer walls of the old city of Jerusalem.  Do you know what tower looms atop these walls?

  Shalom, Dear friend, I continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. I know that tough times are ahead, but be assured my love for the Jewish people has not diminished although it appears that much of the world is against you but your G_d and my God who are the same YWHW will not desert His chosen ones and in the final analysis it will be His battle and not ours so we need not fear. May YHWH richly bless you, Frederick Henry McMaster

Today's Israel Inspiration

Today's verse gives us a vision of the layout of Israel's camp in the desert, along with a lesson for our lives. First, the Tabernacle was located in the center of the camp, serving as a reminder that God is our focal point. The remaining tribes, beginning with the Levites, surrounded the Tabernacle. Each tribe had its own flag, proudly bearing an insignia representative of the tribe's unique character. This contains a lesson for our lives. God is our unifying central focus, even as we tap into our own personal strengths. Eventually the Tabernacle came to rest for 369 years in Shiloh, where it served as the spiritual center of life. Today, modern Shiloh is a blossoming community filled with archaeological treasures, but with a serious threat. The people of Shiloh have withstood horrendous terror attacks. Shiloh Israel Children's Fund heals the trauma of terrorism in the lives of innocent children who have lost loved ones or witnessed the horror of terrorism first-hand.

Huckabee Visits Shiloh!

Mike Huckabee speaks from the beautiful city of Shiloh to declare his support for Judea and Samaria as integral to the nation of Israel.

Miracles Amidst the Trauma

After surviving a brutal terror attack, David Rubin decided that he would find the 'light in the darkness' and help others suffering from similar traumas. An organization was born!
