From today's verse we can appreciate the greatness of our leader Moses. From the luxurious palace of Pharoah, Moses goes out, unbidden, to share in the burdens of his brethren. Seeing the tragedy of the Jewish enslavement sets in motion the events that lead up to the eventual Exodus. As Passover draws near, we strive to emulate Moses' infinite compassion by providing holiday needs for those who struggle to prepare for themselves. Colel Chabad is Israel's oldest charity organization that provides these holiday esentials for widows and orphans in particular.

If the Passover story happened today, just imagine how the media would cover it!

The Ten Plagues seemed to make a return over the weekend as photos emerged of the Nile River in Egypt looking just as the Book of Exodus described it thousands of years ago.

Daniel Santacruz captures the beauty of spring blossoming along the outer walls of the old city of Jerusalem. Do you know what tower looms atop these walls? Send me your answer or post it on Facebook.

“Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem”
It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send mean email and let me know how you are enjoying Jerusalem365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).
Shalom, Dear friend, I continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. I know that tough times are ahead, but be assured my love for the Jewish people has not diminished although it appears that much of the world is against you but your G_d and my God who are the same YWHW will not desert His chosen ones and in the final analysis it will be His battle and not ours so we need not fear. May YHWH richly bless you, Frederick Henry McMaster |
