We Must Understand His Heart For Israel and the Jews – Love For His People, Steve Martin

There is a saying that “All good things come to an end.” But I say – that depends upon whom you ask.

As for me, though this latest Love For His People ministry “Ahava Adventures” journey to Israel finished for David Peterman and me on April 13, 2022, after 11 days and 10 nights in Jerusalem, it will continue to go on as the Lord unveils further what He is doing. He is the Alpha and Omega, and when He says the end is here, it is here.

For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, His Holy Spirit is speaking much. We only need to hear and obey.

It is vital for every believer, Jew and Gentile, to understand the extreme importance of their role and responsibility towards Israel and the Jews. It is not just for me and the Love For His People ministry, or the other ministries whose work primarily focuses on Israel, to know this.

It isn’t as if, “Yes, that is their thing and I have my thing and someday it will all work together thing.”

No, each believer needs to comprehend the importance of Israel and what is now, especially in these end times, happening to the Jews.

This is God’s work. It is His thing. And if we are to be about His business, and not out there building our own little kingdom, whether it is by having a “secular” job or “full-time ministry”, we must know His heart for that Land and His people and become involved with it.

It isn’t to be an “us Christians and them Jews” type of thinking.

Each one of us, you, and I must understand what the Bible expressly reveals, from Genesis to Revelation, as to how the Lord demonstrates and shares His father’s love. By giving the nations a people, the Jews, they were and are to be a demonstration, clearly and fully, of His love. He is now bringing them back, after centuries prior to His return to Jerusalem, to complete that demonstration.

As Jesus, Yeshua, came as a Jew the first time, He will be coming back, as a Jew, to set up His kingdom, in person, as He spoke of through His prophets the Jews, down through the centuries.

He is coming back to Israel to set up His throne in Jerusalem. Literally. It will be quite evident to all.

It is absolutely vital for each of us to understand if we are to really know the Father’s heart and His love for His people.

For the Body of Christ to walk in the complete calling, plans, and purposes of the One Who gave us the Plan, the Bible, we must understand Israel and be a part of His work there.

And I will say this, as clearly and as urgently as I can – for the Church to fully be what we are called to be, there must be a solid connection between Christian believers and Jewish believers for it to happen. Trying to get by without that will not work out very well.

As Dr. Phil so often says to ones who haven’t done it the right way. “How is that working out for you?”

Most of you reading this get it. You know the importance of Israel, understand what the Lord is doing with aliyah (bringing the Jews home from all the nations), and are doing what you understand you can do.

Some of you may need to have a further understanding so you too can play the key role you were created to be doing. Now. In your lifetime.

Again, “Israel and the Jews and Christians” is not just another once-in-a-lifetime sermon that the pastor should be preaching and teaching. It is the complete redemption story laid out, from start to finish, as to how the Lord is doing it. All of us need to have a clear vision and focus on this.

With Passover happening this week, it is a major annual sign to the Jews, which someday soon the Lord will open their eyes to see all along it is Yeshua, the perfect Passover Lamb, they are gathering about. They will soon know it is of the One they speak forth with their Seder meals.

With Good Friday and Resurrection Day also occurring this week, Christians rejoice and give eternal thanks for salvation which comes only through Yeshua the Messiah, Jesus Christ, with the Last Supper, and as we gather on Sunday normally with a big meal, it is further declaring to the world the Father’s love with eternal truth.

In time it will be one table we sit at together, because by then we will have come to know He has only one family.

And do you know what that table is called?

“Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelations 19:9-10, NKJV

Yeshua (Jesus) welcomes His Bride, to sit at the table. Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Let us pray that we start doing it now.

P.S. The photo above demonstrates part of what the Lord is doing – showing black Messianic Jews sitting at a table with two white Gentile believers, enjoying a nice fish dinner. I ask that the Lord will multiply this “picture” worldwide.

P.S.S. If you had been reading the previous messages, in one of my “P.S.” I wrote of David Peterman’s luggage not making it to Israel. Well, just TWO HOURS before we left the Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem to fly back to the USA, it came! Only 11 days late.

Where Did the German Army March in Jerusalem on Good Friday, 1917? Help Find these Locations

Israel's History - a Picture a Day (Beta)

Posted: 30 Mar 2015

Good Friday, April 6, 1917 was also Passover Eve.

The Jews of Jerusalem were destitute.  Money from foreign Jewish communities had been cut off because of the war.  Breadwinners were absent, many forcibly conscripted into the Turkish army or hiding from the army.  But Jewish families did their best to prepare for the Passover holiday.

A parade of soldiers and a military band from the German army marching down the middle of Jerusalem broke the routine and brought Jerusalemites into the street, especially the young boys.  These soldiers were on their way to church services in the Old City on their holy day before Easter.

German fife, drum and horns lead the soldiers to Good Friday prayers. Note the onlookers.

The Germans were allies of the Turkish rulers of the land. They served as advisors, commanders, and pilots in the war against the British and their allies.

These photos were taken by an "official German photographer" and were found in the archives of the British Imperial War Museum.

Where was the picture taken in Jerusalem?  Note the onlookers and the children, probably Jewish because of their caps.

We invite our readers to study the photographs recently digitized by the Ottoman Imperial Archives.  Exactly where did they take place?  Photograph the modern-day location and send it to israel.dailypix@gmail.com

Holy Week 2014 Includes Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday

Holy Week is a Christian holiday that takes place on the last week of lent, and one week before Easter. This year Holy Week falls on the week of April 13, 2014.

The holiday starts off with Palm Sunday (April 13), and includes Holy Thursday (April 17), Good Friday (April 18), and Holy Saturday (April 19). Holy Week does not include Easter Sunday which falls on April 20, 2014.

The Christian celebration of lent takes place 40 days before Easter, not including Sundays, and this year began on March 5, 2014 and will end on Thursday, April 17, 2014.

Specific rituals and traditions, as well as set dates for observing lent, vary across denominations, as the Eastern Orthodox churches begins on a Monday and does not celebrate Ash Wednesday.

Just like during lent, during Holy Week, Christians typically abstain from meat and dairy, alcohol, and follow a stricter moral code.
