Paul Wilbur - "Roar From Zion" album
May 18, 2019, and then again July 3, 2019, and again Aug. 12, 2019. (I LOVE this song!)
Greetings LoveMusic! friends.
Once again I share this great song with you, as I first did on May 18, 2019.
When I heard Paul Wilbur* live at Antioch International Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina (the Christians For Messiah Ministries Women's Conference in February 2019), he sang his title song from his new album, "Roar From Zion." It was fantastic!
When I received the CD a few weeks later, this song, "O We Praise", sung by Ryan and Marie Hodges, grabbed my heart and spirit at the first listen.
I can only imagine it will do the same for you!
Ahava and shalom,

The night had fallen as He hung His head Pierced and beaten He gave his final breathe The earth was shaken as the veil was torn There was no other to pay the price You paid.
Jesus, glorified Higher than the heavens Forever He is risen Yeshua, praise His name
To a thousand generations Forever He is king Oh we praise the name of Jesus! Praise Your Name, Lord
A new day dawning just as He said it would It wasn’t over, death could not have the final word Sin defeated, He conquered hell and grave There was no other to pay the price you paid. You silenced the grave when the stone rolled away
Jesus glorified Higher than the heavens Forever He is risen Yeshua praise His name To a thousand generations Forever He is King
O we praise the Name of Jesus O we praise the Name of Jesus O we praise the Name of Jesus O we praise the Name of Jesus
You silenced the grave when the stone rolled away Forever He is kingOh we praise the name of Jesus,
Oh we praise the name of Jesus
Oh we praise the name of Jesus
Every curse is broken by his risen power. Oh we praise the name of Jesus.

Acts is a very exciting book to read. It is full of miracles, tremendous growth, and powerful stories of love, devotion and fellowship among the disciples of Yeshua. However, there was also severe persecution happening at the same time. Persecution of God's people often accompanies great strides forward in the Kingdom of God, as we are currently experiencing.
Our media team members who are very much in the public eye have been experiencing a significant amount of trouble from some Orthodox Jews incensed by the videos we are making. Eitan, Moti and Anastasia have all received threatening phone calls, and Eitan in particular has been singled out for attack, along with his wife and family. Eitan explains the situation in the video below:
Amazingly, a news channel in Israel saw this video and got in touch with Eitan. They loved the video and want to make a news item with us on the matter. That's great news and another opportunity for more gospel exposure!
Indeed, just as the persecution that scattered the early believers only served to take the gospel further afield, so this attempt to silence our evangelism is just bringing the message of Yeshua to an even wider audience. Praise God!
The Cost Of Following Yeshua In Israel And Around The World
The "World Watch List" compiled by Open Doors names the worst 50 countries when it comes to persecution of Christians. We are grateful in Israel we do not experience the same difficulty meeting to worship and living our lives as many believers do so close to our borders. But it would be wrong to think there is no cost to following Yeshua in Israel. There certainly is. Here are some personal stories of persecution happening in Israel today. Continue reading...
What Just One Prayer Can Do
While a lot of Jewish believers managed to escape from Romania to Israel, Richard Wurmbrand and his wife were arrested and imprisoned for many years for their faith by the Communists. During his imprisonment, Richard not only experienced horrific torture, but he was kept in solitary confinement for several years. Yet even in prison, Richard and his wife continued to share the gospel - in fact, at one point Richard tapped in Morse code to the man in the cell next to him and led him to faith in Yeshua. Even more remarkable, he and his fellow prisoners would share God's love and forgiveness with their guards and torturers, some of whom were so overwhelmed by the power of that love that they couldn't resist embracing Yeshua too. Was the King of rock 'n' roll intrigued by the best-selling book of all time? That's certainly the impression one might get when thumbing through the pages of the KJV Bible that once belonged to the famous rock star.
With Museum of the Bible's newest YouVersion reading plan, Rockin' Through the Psalms With the "King,"that's exactly what fans of Elvis are invited to do for themselves.Readers of the seven-day plan will be able to read along with Elvis' very own handwritten notes and underlined verses.
For example, below Psalm 11:1, Elvis wrote, "In the Lord I place my trust and He will guide me." Psalm 43:3 is underlined with a note at the top of the page reading, "Lord send me light to guide me." Jotted at the bottom of page 670, in reference to Psalm 137:5-9, are the words, "Trust in the Lord, not man."
It's also apparent that Elvis looked to the Bible for inspiration for his music. Jotted below Psalm 81, Elvis wrote, "Sing the Lord Praises." In reference to Psalm 149:3-6, it reads, "The highest graces of music flow from the feelings of the heart-soul." Various other phrases and words are also underlined in Psalm 149 with the words, "Sing for the Glory of God," written in Elvis' handwriting at the end of the Book of Psalms.
"Celebrities don't get much bigger than Elvis Presley," said Steven Bickley, Museum of the Bible vice president of marketing. "He is a prime example of the unparalleled influence of this book. His life may have taken a few twists and turns along the way, but it's clear, as evidenced by his own handwritten notes, that the Bible had a profound impact on him."
Users can access Museum of the Bible's Rockin' Through the Psalms With the "King"YouVersionBible Plan directly through the YouVersion Bible App on any smartphone, tablet or computer.
Photographs of the Elvis Presley Bible, which was on loan to Museum of the Bible in 2014, have been granted with permission of the owner.

Last week when I was preaching in the nation of Iceland, I befriended three young foreign students from Africa who were visiting our conference near Reykjavik. I noticed these guys were sitting in the back of the auditorium, so I invited them to sit with me up front. They later admitted to me that I was the first preacher they'd ever met who greeted people before a service.
"In my country, most preachers come into the auditorium after the worship, and they don't speak to anyone," one of the brothers told me.
When I told these brothers they could call me Lee, they were shocked. They expected me to demand a long-winded ecclesiastical title.
I'm often asked if I have a title, and my answer doesn't satisfy some people. I don't consider myself a pastor because I travel so much. All kinds of labels have been pinned on me: reverend, prophet, apostle, even bishop.
Once I was introduced to a church as "Dr. Grady," and I almost crawled under my seat. I only have a college degree. There are no letters after my name.
Today it seems we've developed a title fetish. For a while everyone in charismatic circles was becoming a bishop, and some were installed into this office with rings, robes and funny-looking hats. Then the same guys with the pointy hats started calling themselves apostles. Then the prophets got jealous and started calling themselves apostles too! I knew one lady who, not to be outdone, required people to call her "exalted prophetess."
Now the latest fad is requiring church folks to address certain people as apostles. As in, "When apostle Holy Moly arrives, please only address him as, 'apostle,' and then make sure he is seated in a private room while his two 'armor bearers,' wearing dark glasses, guard his door." I know of one popular preacher who sends his hosts a letter explaining that he must be called "apostle" anytime his name is used from the stage!
Some of these title-seekers have even invented an elaborate theology to go along with their ridiculous rule. They say you can't receive the true anointing from a man of God if you don't honor him with his right title.
Sounds so very oooh-oooh spiritual to the naive. But it's charismatic garbage.
Jesus didn't play this religious game, especially when he was around the grand poobahs of His day—the long-robed, nose-in-the-air scribes and Pharisees. After accusing them of loving the best seats in the synagogues, He pointed out that they loved to be called "Rabbi" by men (see Matt. 23:7).
Then He warned them: "But do not be called 'Rabbi,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brothers ... For he who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted" (Matt. 23:8,12).
People have quibbled over these words for centuries, insisting that pride is what Jesus was rebuking, not titles. I would agree that Jesus was going to the root sin. But He was also asking these guys if they'd be willing to ditch their labels and act like normal people.
When I was in China several years ago, I met some amazing leaders who had planted thousands of congregations. They had also spent a lot of time in jail for their faith, and they'd been beaten with iron rods for preaching the gospel. They were the bravest apostles I've ever met.
But when I asked them if they used "apostle" as a title, one guy said: "We believe in those roles in the church. But we prefer to call each other 'brother' or 'sister.'"
That settled the issue for me.
If these Chinese giants of the faith—and true apostles—don't require to be addressed with titles, then Your Worshipful Grand Master Rev. Dr. Bishop Big Deal Jones who claims oversight of maybe four churches shouldn't wear his ministry role around his neck like a tacky neon name badge.
If people can't see the anointing on your life through your character, then don't cheapen the gospel by wearing a title you don't deserve.
I'm not saying people shouldn't use reverend, minister or even bishop to identify their roles in the church. One of my mentors is a bishop, and he is one of the most humble men I know. But can we please dispense with the insecurity and the childish "I'm more important than you" appellations and get back to the simplicity of the gospel? Let's get over ourselves!
Jesus is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Son of David, the Prince of Peace and the Apostle of our Confession. Yet when He came into this world, He laid aside His heavenly glory and took on the lowly name of Jesus. He wore no fancy robes. He demanded no titles. He had no "armor bearers." He even bore His own cross until He was too weak to drag it to Calvary.
If we want to serve Jesus honorably, we must forsake our need for fame and cast our crowns at His feet.

"O Israel, your 'Wailing' Wall shall become a 'Hailing' Wall." To wail means to cry out with lament or grief. To hail means to salute, greet or acclaim enthusiastically, such as, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
In the Spirit, I saw the very shekinah glory of God begin to gradually seep through the cracks of the Wailing Wall while "homecoming angels" on the wall were stuffing love notes into every crack, imparting revelation into the minds and hearts of the "standing room only" multitude of God's chosen people who were now facing the answers to their prayers. Blinders began dropping off of their eyes as the Wailing Wall appeared to be turning into a giant theater screen. Many began to see visions of the King of kings and Lord of lords in all of His glory in 3-D technicolor. In the Spirit, these panoramic scenes on the wall could be seen by the Jewish people all around the world. A homesick feeling began to spread in epidemic proportion in the hearts of God's chosen people, turning their hearts toward home. God would not force His people to return home, but He did have "a ways and means" committee to help make them willing to go.
In the Spirit, I sensed great earth-shaking events were now being pre-approved by the Father. These events will cause a great nest-stirring for God's people, the Jews, to be willing to leave where they had grown comfortable, living in seemingly secure places of the earth. But I saw a great shaking in the world's economy coming that would literally gouge the side out of their Titanic-like financial investments and businesses. I sensed the Father conversing with the angels on this, saying, "Yes, that will do it!"
Synagogues were being revisited by the greatest teacher ever, Jesus Christ, revealing Himself through scripture as their Messiah—the King of the Jews!
In the Spirit, I saw angels setting up camp around Jewish synagogues, and Jesus Himself walking right through many synagogue doors into the midst of their ceremonies. I also saw Him stand up in their midst and read and proclaim, once again, Isaiah 61, but this time, He read the whole chapter as many of their ears and eyes began to pop open! To many, Jesus began to show Himself openly. Some were having visions; others were convinced they were seeing Him!
"And the plazas of the city will be filled with young boys and girls playing in her open places" (Zech. 8:5).
I saw children dancing in the streets of Jerusalem. At first, it appeared that they were dancing with a make-believe friend. I then saw Jesus laughing and twirling them in the air and catching them as they danced together, as the joy of the Lord began running down through the streets of Jerusalem and beyond! Parents of these small children began to experience the presence of God as children began to talk about their experiences, visions and encounters with Jesus Christ, proclaiming Him to be their Messiah! Children were bringing His anointing and carrying His glory into their families!
In closing, I sense the Father saying, "The intercession of nations for Israel is beginning to be heard, creating the greatest move of My Spirit in all of history in the lives of My chosen people, the Jews. Intercession must increase and prevail to bring My people home."
