Welcome to Biblical Shiloh: Return to Your Roots ✡ "Land Was Subdued Before Them" - ISRAEL365

And the whole congregation of Bnei Yisrael assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the tent of meeting there; and the land was subdued before them.

Today's Israel Inspiration

The Jewish People brought the Tabernacle to Shiloh where it stood temporarily until the first Holy Temple was built in Jerusalem. The Tabernacle dwelled in Shiloh for 369 years, serving as the central point for Israelite service to God, as we see throughout the books of the Prophets, especially in the Book of Samuel. Like many places in Israel today, the ancient site of Shiloh exists alongside a flourishing modern Jewish community where hundreds of Jewish families call modern-day Shiloh home. Although living in the Biblical city is a dream-come-true for many, their lives are not easy as they are surrounded by numerous Palestinian villages and cities and are often targets for terror attacks. Shiloh Israel Children's Fund aims to ease the trauma of terrorism in these young children and rebuild the Biblical heartland of the Holy Land.

Welcome to the Biblical
City of Shiloh!

In the beautiful city of Shiloh, the Bible comes to life with astounding archeological remains. Yet its modern day Jewish community balances this strong biblical connection to the Land with serious threats from Arab neighbors.

How a Terror Survivor Turned His Trauma Into Triumph!

One of the darkest moments of David Rubin’s life has since then helped save the lives of thousands of children from all over Israel showing us that sometimes the most amazing things can come out of the darkest places.

The Biblical city of Shiloh was the center of Jewish worship during the times of the prophets before King Solomon built the first Holy Temple. The Tabernacle, which housed the Ark and the tablets brought down by Moses, was erected in a prominent location, ensuring easy access for all those who dwelled in or came to visit the holy site.

Jerusalem Inspiration

The city of Biblical Shiloh was the religious capital of Israel during the times of the Judges, and spans 4,000 years of continuous settlement.  Shiloh was an assembly place, and a center of worship, housing the Tabernacle.  The name of Shiloh the town is derived from שלה (shala) and may be translated as Tranquility Town.  As its name suggests, Shiloh Children's Fund dreams of a tranquil future for modern day Shiloh and all of Israel, free from the pain and trauma of terrorism.  One way that individuals can fight terrorism in Israel and around the world is by supporting the true Zionist response to terror, which is to rebuild the heartland of Israel for the next generation.  Donate to Shiloh Children's and receive a copy of 'God, Israel & Shiloh', Returning to the Land.

Song of Thanks!

Check out this great song, right in time for Thanksgiving! It's a song of thanks, by King David himself.

Survivor Seeks to Save Others

Having survived a terrorist attack himself along with his young son, one Israeli is deeply connected to the land and its history. His own experience, coupled with study and talent, have led him to develop an outstanding program to heal victims of terror.

"Come to Possess the Land" ✡ You'll Love these Israeli Music CD's

And the entire congregation of the Children of Israel assembled at Shiloh... And Joshua said, "How long are you slack to come in to possess the Land, which the Lord God of your forefathers has given you?"

JOSHUA (18:1,3)

Today's Israel Inspiration

When Joshua spoke these words in Shiloh, he was not just speaking to the Israelites of that time. The Bible is eternal and contains lessons for all time, thus we read Joshua's rallying words as a message for our generation as well, to "come to possess the Land!" The people of the modern day city of Shiloh have taken Joshua's message to heart, establishing a thriving community in the biblical heartland. In the process they have experienced a number of terror attacks. Help heal the trauma of terrorism in the lives of innocent children who have lost loved ones or witnessed the horror of terrorism first-hand.

Feel as if you're here, walking on one of the oldest roads in the world, the road walked by millions of Israelites who made pilgrimages to Shiloh to worship God at the Tabernacle. Astounding archeological remains make the Bible come to life!

A new report has revealed that some 60,000 Americans immigrants are living in "settlements" in Judea and Samaria, where they are often inspired by an American vision of pioneering and building new suburbanized utopian communities.
