Joe Joe Dawson: "Be Confident - Your Breakthrough is Coming!" - THE ELIJAH LIST

Joe Joe Dawson: "Be Confident - Your Breakthrough is Coming!"

THE ELIJAH LIST Oct 25, 2017
Steve Shultz     From the desk of Steve Shultz:
I've heard more and more reports of God's people really "going through it"...and I mean going through it! But remember the key word is "through" as you are not staying in this place of challenge and trial.
God is strengthening the saints and bringing us into breakthrough as Joe Joe Dawson shares in this edifying word:
Your breakthrough is coming. Be confident in the faithfulness of God so that when your breakthrough comes, you're not too tired to walk in it! Remember you don't get stronger in the good times but you grow the most during seasons of trials, tests and tribulation. Warfare seasons are meant to strengthen us so we can receive our breakthrough.
Please be encouraged by this word in whatever you are currently walking through...as you are being led into great increase and breakthrough! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

HR

Recently the Lord has been speaking to me about the Kingdom of God, breakthrough and increase. The Lord has been saying to me that Kingdom people are about to receive Kingdom increase that is designed for Kingdom breakthrough. The Lord is setting us up to be able to go get the harvest and bring them in to disciple them.
We are about to see pioneers and forerunners lead ministries that will bring in a harvest and then bring reformation to them. The Lord has been stirring my heart to preach and teach the exact same message Jesus taught which was the "Kingdom of God".
Luke 4:43 says, "But He said to them, 'I must preach the Kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.'"
It is time that we start preaching the same message Jesus and the apostles taught. They walked in great power and authority and brought breakthrough and increase everywhere they went. They preached the Kingdom of God for Kingdom purposes.
Kingdom Increase is Coming
Many people in this next season will receive an increase in their life spiritually, physically, financially, and emotionally. These increases are for Kingdom breakthrough and Kingdom purposes. Yes, God loves you and wants you healed and set free! But don't just think this increase in your life is for only you. Everything God is doing and will do is to advance His Kingdom in and through your life in this hour.
Jesus prayed in Matthew 6:10"Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven."
"God brings His explosive power into us so that we can understand the authority that has been given to us."
Jesus is at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me! We must find out what Heaven is saying over our lives, ministries, businesses, churches, cities and nations. Now is the time for Kingdom increase! We must make sure we steward the increase properly.
Proverbs 4:25-27 says, "Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil."
In this upcoming season, we need to be laser focused on the things of the Lord. Do not allow circumstances or situations to get you off track. When breakthrough comes we must make sure we are ready to walk in the breakthrough and steward it well. Don't wear yourself out worrying.
Seasons of Trial and Testing Strengthen You
Your breakthrough is coming.
Sometimes the breakthrough is simply the end of a process God was taking you through toward a certain destination! You must learn to endure and learn from the process. Don't sit around and cry or complain. You won't learn what God needs to teach you for your next level assignment. If you don't break, you will have your breakthrough! God will equip you in the hard times and these times will be full of pressure, but you will come out ready for your next season. Your breakthrough is at hand!
Be Connected to the Right People
Don't look at where you are, look at where you're going. Make sure you are connected to the right people in this season. Surround yourself with only those who will help you walk in the purposes and plans God has over your life.
Hebrews 6:12 says, "We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised."
The hour we are in is a special time for the Body of Christ, we must make sure the people around us are spiritually strong. Grow close to the ones who have been through hard times and followed God all the way through until they got their breakthrough. Align yourself with people who stay in the battle until they inherit the promises and the purpose that God has designed for them!
He Will Show Himself Strong
2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him..."
Whenever God finds someone who has made their relationship with Him the most important thing, He will show Himself strong to that person. These are the ones that are usually on the cutting-edge of what God is saying over regions. These are the people that always have a fresh song or word that is being released.
Matthew 5:6 says, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled."
ElijahList Prophetic Resources
So many people are not tapping into the promises that God has for them because they really don't have a proper understanding about the miraculous power God has given us. We must understand that Heaven is the place of creation and Earth is the place that it's manifested. When we get our hearts in proper alignment with what the Lord is saying, we will start to see this Kingdom breakthrough flood every part of our life.
John 15:4 says, "Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me."
The Lord is looking for the ones who will receive a word from Him, and hang on to that word no matter what comes. We must hold tight to the word of God, not what the critics may say and ignore the situations that are trying to destroy your purpose. The Lord longs for the person whose heart is dependent on Him.
Psalm 143:9 says, "Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in You."
Psalm 40:1 says, "I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry."
Walking in His Authority and Power
"It is time that we start preaching the same message Jesus and the apostles taught."
I feel so strongly in my spirit that we are about to start walking in the fullness of God. As Believers, we are about to understand the authority and power that is available to us.
Ephesians 3:19-20 in the Passion Translation says this, "And [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God's presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us."
Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I give you authority and power..." What are we doing with this great authority and power that God has given us? We have delegated authority to change and shift every atmosphere that we walk into.
Luke 9:1-2 says, "Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick."
When the children of God can truly grasp the power that is available to them we will start to see breakthrough and an extreme increase over people's lives for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Ephesians 6:10 in the Passion Translation says, "Now finally, my beloved ones, be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through you."
God brings His explosive power into us so that we can understand the authority that has been given to us. Then we are supposed to let the power within us leak out into every single part of our lives and onto every person we come in contact with. (Photo via Unsplash)

The Apostle Paul understood the power of walking in the fullness of God. Romans 15:29 says, "And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the Jesus Christ."
Paul was completely convinced that when he visited a group of people that the gifts of the Spirit would be manifested. No matter what the people needed, Paul felt confident in his walk with God that the fullness of God would be present to minister to the people. Paul's life was one that was 100% completely devoted to God.
Romans 1:11 says, "For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gifts, to the end you will be established." Paul had such a relationship with the Lord that when he went to minister, the impartation of the gifts of the Spirit of God would manifest themselves in the lives of the people that he ministered to. Paul knew they would receive these gifts and keep them until the end.
We must understand that this delegated authority and power that God has given us is so real and necessary for today. Activate the Kingdom of God that is already inside of you, let it bring the Kingdom increase into your life for Kingdom breakthrough! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

How Your Excruciating Labor Pains Are Bearing Incredible Spiritual Fruit - ROBIN BERTRAM CHARISMA NEWS

Do you remember the pains of pregnancy and childbirth? (Pexels/freestocks.org)

How Your Excruciating Labor Pains Are Bearing Incredible Spiritual Fruit

ROBIN BERTRAM  CHARISMA NEWS
My husband and I were walking by a large pond in our neighborhood. We live in the low country of South Carolina, and our ponds are full of alligators as well as other reptiles and amphibians. We also have blue herons, snowy egrets, cormorants, ospreys, red-tailed hawks, ibis and wood storks, all of which make our walks so incredibly delightful. That day, the gators were out in full force. We must have seen five or six on our short walk. For the first time ever, we heard an alligator growl. Our neighbors, who were walking several steps ahead, stopped and shouted back, "Hey, did you hear that?"
"Yes," I said, "but what is it?" Our neighbor replied that it was the sound of an alligator in mating season.
It reminded me of a time when I was a young woman, and I growled at my husband in that same way. It was in the labor room as I was getting ready to give birth to my son. I had been in hard Pitocin-induced labor, with its characteristic intense and abrupt contractions of the uterus, for 18 hours. I cannot remember ever being in such pain. It seemed as though it would go on forever. However, when my sweet baby son was placed in my arms, all the pain I experienced seem to fade from my memory. As I peered into his beautiful blue eyes, I saw in him the reflection of my husband and me looking down at him. Joy. What joy. He was perfect.
When a baby is being born, it has to be pushed through the birth canal. He has to leave his place of security and comfort and go to a new place of the unknown. It cannot be a pain-free process for either the mother or the child, but when complete, the baby feels safe in his parents' arms. The child quickly identifies with the mother who carried him for nine months, and then recognizes the father as he quickly connects with him also. The pain is soon forgotten, and the joy of new life takes its place.
If you have ever had children, you might remember that precious look in your babies' eyes when they first looked up and recognized their father. The newborn knows almost nothing, yet he knows to whom he belongs. Think back to the time when you saw the father gazing into the eyes of his newborn. Dad was beaming with joy at every sound and every little movement.
Now take this picture of a father and a newborn and apply that to how God feels when we have come through a difficult period of refinement. He smiles down at His child. He is so pleased. He sees more of His own perfect reflection as He gazes into the soul that has been refined. Was all the pain worth it? Yes. Yes. Yes. Pain is here for a time, but joy comes in the morning after the darkness of the night. Joy bubbles up inside you when you come through the fires of refinement. It is a joy that cannot compare with mere happiness. It's deeper. It's richer. It's more intense.
Trials come. Tribulation comes. However, as believers, we are to count it all joy when we have to face various trials and temptations (James 1:2). How can we do that? Are we supposed to fake our way through it? Are we to put on a happy face when everything in us is hurting? I think our real test is to not become a victim of our own circumstances but instead to be victorious, knowing that through the trial we are being refined. In the process, we are being purged of all that is not like God.
And this is an important process. After all, as Charles Spurgeon once said, "No faith is so precious as that which lives and triumphs in adversity. Tried faith brings experience. You could not have believed your own weakness had you not been compelled to pass through the rivers; and you would never have known God's strength had you not been supported amid the water-floods."

What to Do Until the Storms of Life Blow Over - LEONARD DAVIDSON CHARISMA MAGAZINE

Spirit Led Woman's Power Up Logo
Recently I heard a meteorologist on the Weather Channel say something profound—No one knows when, or where the next devastating storm will come. But we do know this; there will be another storm."
Sounds a lot like life, doesn't it?
It has been said that we are either in a storm, coming out of a storm, or about to enter a storm.
Is this just a fatalistic attitude, or is it the reality of living in a fallen world?
Remember what Jesus said? "In the world you will have tribulation." (John 16:33). The Greek word for "tribulation" literally means affliction, trouble, anguish, persecution and burdens.
Paul tells us that Satan is the "prince of the power of the air" (Eph. 2:2) and the ruler of "the cosmic powers over this present darkness ...  the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Eph. 6:12).
When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, authority and power were given over to Satan.
No wonder we face so many storms in life!
Some of these are: the loss of a child, depression, anxiety, a doctor's unwanted diagnosis, a loveless, lifeless marriage, prodigal children, and financial difficulties. The list goes on and on—from one storm to another.
We too often desperately struggle to find relief and wonder how to survive—mentally, physically, and especially spiritually.
It is interesting to see the statements Jesus precedes, and then follows his "tribulation" statement with—all in the same verse. He begins with "In me you may have peace" (John 16:33). He finishes with "but take heart; I have overcome the world."
Jesus tells us that life will be full of storms. But the storms are sandwiched between His peace and His overcoming power. These are two powerful truths that give us a new perspective on the daily struggles of life.
Perhaps that is what John meant when he declared " ... for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4).
While we live in a fallen world which is for now under the authority of the evil one, Someone greater—all powerful—almighty—everlasting in love—eternal—allows us to run to Him in the midst of the storm, and experience His peace ... and His overcoming power.
King David understood this all too well.  At one point, trying to avoid death at the hand of Saul, he found himself hiding in a cave. His words ring true even today—" Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me! For my soul seeks refuge in You; in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until the ruinous storm passes by" (Psalm 57:1, MEV)
"Until the hurricane blows over." I don't know about you, but more than once life has felt like a category 5 hurricane—complete with 155 mph winds, rain blowing sideways and an 18 foot ocean surge with lightning and thunder all around.
During these times—and we all have them—remember that the storm is wedged in between the peace of Jesus ... and His overcoming power.
Take heart. Those two divine, eternal truths won't remove you from the storm—but they will change your perspective and you will overcome.

Prayer Power for the Week of March 6, 2016

This week thank God for His overcoming power and that His peace can sustain and carry you through any storm you have to face. Thank Him that He is faithful to His promise to never ever leave or forsake you. Allow His Spirit to produce His fruit of righteousness in you so that you can continually walk in joy, peace and all the other fruit of the Spirit. Continue to pray for our spiritual and government leaders, for worldwide revival, the expansion of God's kingdom, and the persecuted church. Pray that Israel fulfill God's purpose in this hour. Lift up our military and their families. Pray for the upcoming elections (John 16:33; Gal. 5:22-26; Matt. 9:38).

COMMENTARY: Is Jesus the Thief in the Night? | Brian Hennessy ISRAEL TODAY

COMMENTARY: Is Jesus the Thief in the Night?

Thursday, December 10, 2015 |  Brian Hennessy  ISRAEL TODAY
I remember years ago watching the popular 1970’s rapture movie, “Thief in the Night,” with my two oldest children. A week later they came home early from school and their mother and I were not there. They told us later how frightened they became thinking we’d been raptured and left them behind.
That’s when I realized something wasn’t kosher about a teaching that could create such fear in children. Especially when you add in all the chaos that would ensue when pilots and bus drivers suddenly disappear.
As most know, this Rapture teaching was popularized by John Nelson Darby in the early eighteen hundreds. To his credit he departed from Replacement Theology after seeing the prophets had promised a future restoration of Israel. But he stumbled in believing the Church and Israel would remain two separate people of God with different inheritances. He believed Christians would go to Heaven and the Jews would inherit the Promised Land.
To fulfill his understanding he taught Jesus would come secretly like a “thief in the night” to snatch away all Christians before the Tribulation, no matter how worldly, and bring us to Heaven. The Jews, after being brought to repentance as a result of the Tribulation, would set up their Davidic kingdom in Israel to rule the world for the Millennium.
But Darby’s theology was fundamentally flawed because it divided the body of Messiah in half based on ethnicity. For we know “there is neither Jew nor Greek…for you are all one in Messiah Yeshua” (Gal 3:28). He did not see God had only one kingdom, one people, and that all who were chosen in Messiah will reign with him here on earth!
As for Yeshua coming suddenly upon us as a thief at night, that is the last thing a believer would want to experience. Paul’s warning couldn’t be clearer: “For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night… but you brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief...so then, LET US NOT SLEEP AS THE OTHERS DO, but let us be alert and sober” (1Thess. 5:2-4,6).
It is the inattentive, unprepared believer deceived by a world system with its strong religious component, along with the unbelievers, who will be caught napping. Yeshua likened that believer to the head of the house, who, if he had stayed awake, “would not have allowed his house to be broken into” (Matt: 24:42-44). The same warning was given to the dozing saints at Sardis: “If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you” (Rev. 3:3-5).
The one thing we know for sure about the Lord’s coming is we won’t know for sure when he is coming. Even he didn’t know when he’d be back! Pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib? Who knows? Only the Father. That’s why we are “to be dressed in readiness and keeps our lamps lit” (Luke 12:35) – listening daily to His voice, and walking in love, faith and obedience.
Although we won’t know the day or hour, multiple signs will alert us “that he is near, even right at the door” (Matt 24:33).  Yes, the worldly ones will be taken by surprise “as in the days of Noah,” but Noah and his family were literally on board with it all before God shut the door. In the same way, Peter tells us to expect a salvation “ready to be revealed in the last time… and to fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Pet. 1:5,13).
Darby was right that the Lord will come for his own before he returns to visit fiery judgment upon the nations and sets up his kingdom. But this salvation will not beam us up to Heaven. Nor will it be for carnal Christians. Nor will it be in secret.  It will be for those who are ready, and will take place in front of the whole world as a witness to the truth about Yeshua. “The Lord has bared His holy arm in the sight of all the nations, that all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our God” (Isa. 52:10).
I believe it will be seen as nothing less than the long-awaited restoration of Ephraim with Judah in Messiah. “Then it will happen on that day that the Lord will again recover the second time with His hand, the remnant of His people who will remain” (Isa. 11:11)
But nobody is going anywhere until “the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed” (2 Thess. 2:4).

Here is a taste of what is in it...

I sincerely believe we are living in the end of days, as prophetic words have been rapidly fulfilled since the re-birth of Israel in 1948. Jesus Himself had said that when we see the fig tree budding, we would know that the time is near.

This book, my 10th published in the last three years (all between 2013-2015) and before my 61st birthday, is very special to me. I sense it is something the Lord put on my heart to do several months ago, giving it that “urgency of getting it done and out there” feel as I wrote. Originally these chapters were Now Think On This messages. It was amazing to me how many were done in September and October of 2015 alone, as the Holy Spirit would speak a word or sentence to me, and I would write on soon after. I am truly grateful for His impartation, and acknowledge Jesus (Yeshua), my Lord and Savior, above all.

The photos I have included in the book are primarily ones I took (exceptions noted), both to document history and to share another way the Lord also speaks to His Body. Capturing moments of the Holy Spirit action, especially in the two “fire” photos, were exciting. In both cases I wasn’t even aware of it until they were “developed”.

My heart yearns for the glory of the Lord Jesus to be revealed in the earth, touching the hearts and souls of men, women and children in each and every nation.

As we see the days become darker, we believe that the Lord God of Israel will show Himself strong, and prove that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, as He says He is.

I dedicate this book to you who also long to walk in strong faith, courage and commitment to the end, for whatever the Lord has planned and purposed for you and I.

Together, as the Body of Christ, and the glorious Bride that we will become, we will one day see His Kingdom arrive, His will be done, even on earth as it is in heaven.

The Gospel, the Good News of salvation, will be declared, and that which is just and good will for all eternity overcome the evil one and his cohorts

I trust this book will both encourage you and cause you to re-commit yourself  - to know the Lord’s will for your life, do all you can to allow Him to direct your steps, and be the light in these dark days we desperately need and have been called upon by the Lord to be. I am with you, arm in arm.

May His grace and empowerment, through His Holy Spirit, be yours!

Ahava (love in Hebrew) and shalom (peace),

Steve Martin
