Incredible - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Incredible

Now Think On This
Steve Martin

“Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and I will tell of Your greatness.” (Psalm 145:6, NASU)

When I look into the star-filled night sky, I know one thing. God did it. Incredible.

When a Monarch butterfly glides across the tips of the park flowers, I know this. God did it.

When I consider the heartbeat of a newborn babe, being lovingly held tightly by his young mother, I am amazed at the beautiful creation of the Lord. He is Incredible.

And when I see prophecy being fulfilled right before my eyes, having been written in the Bible over 2,000 years ago, that the Living God of Israel would return His chosen people the Jews, from all the nations, to their Promised Land after being exiled, I know I serve an incredible God. He is doing it as He promised. This too is most incredible.

“For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, I, God, the Master, tell you that the entire people of Israel will worship me. I'll receive them there with open arms. I'll demand your best gifts and offerings, all your holy sacrifices.

What's more, I'll receive you as the best kind of offerings when I bring you back from all the lands and countries in which you've been scattered. I'll demonstrate in the eyes of the world that I am The Holy.

When I return you to the land of Israel, the land that I solemnly promised with upraised arm to give to your parents, you'll realize that I am God.” (Ezekiel 20:40-42, THE MESSAGE)

The Jews are going home. They are making aliyah (immigrating) from each and every nation on this planet, just as their God and mine promised He would have them do in fulfillment of His eternal Word.

Yes, He is an Incredible God!

Shalom and ahava (peace and love in Hebrew).

Now think on this,

How Your Excruciating Labor Pains Are Bearing Incredible Spiritual Fruit - ROBIN BERTRAM CHARISMA NEWS

Do you remember the pains of pregnancy and childbirth? (Pexels/freestocks.org)

How Your Excruciating Labor Pains Are Bearing Incredible Spiritual Fruit

ROBIN BERTRAM  CHARISMA NEWS
My husband and I were walking by a large pond in our neighborhood. We live in the low country of South Carolina, and our ponds are full of alligators as well as other reptiles and amphibians. We also have blue herons, snowy egrets, cormorants, ospreys, red-tailed hawks, ibis and wood storks, all of which make our walks so incredibly delightful. That day, the gators were out in full force. We must have seen five or six on our short walk. For the first time ever, we heard an alligator growl. Our neighbors, who were walking several steps ahead, stopped and shouted back, "Hey, did you hear that?"
"Yes," I said, "but what is it?" Our neighbor replied that it was the sound of an alligator in mating season.
It reminded me of a time when I was a young woman, and I growled at my husband in that same way. It was in the labor room as I was getting ready to give birth to my son. I had been in hard Pitocin-induced labor, with its characteristic intense and abrupt contractions of the uterus, for 18 hours. I cannot remember ever being in such pain. It seemed as though it would go on forever. However, when my sweet baby son was placed in my arms, all the pain I experienced seem to fade from my memory. As I peered into his beautiful blue eyes, I saw in him the reflection of my husband and me looking down at him. Joy. What joy. He was perfect.
When a baby is being born, it has to be pushed through the birth canal. He has to leave his place of security and comfort and go to a new place of the unknown. It cannot be a pain-free process for either the mother or the child, but when complete, the baby feels safe in his parents' arms. The child quickly identifies with the mother who carried him for nine months, and then recognizes the father as he quickly connects with him also. The pain is soon forgotten, and the joy of new life takes its place.
If you have ever had children, you might remember that precious look in your babies' eyes when they first looked up and recognized their father. The newborn knows almost nothing, yet he knows to whom he belongs. Think back to the time when you saw the father gazing into the eyes of his newborn. Dad was beaming with joy at every sound and every little movement.
Now take this picture of a father and a newborn and apply that to how God feels when we have come through a difficult period of refinement. He smiles down at His child. He is so pleased. He sees more of His own perfect reflection as He gazes into the soul that has been refined. Was all the pain worth it? Yes. Yes. Yes. Pain is here for a time, but joy comes in the morning after the darkness of the night. Joy bubbles up inside you when you come through the fires of refinement. It is a joy that cannot compare with mere happiness. It's deeper. It's richer. It's more intense.
Trials come. Tribulation comes. However, as believers, we are to count it all joy when we have to face various trials and temptations (James 1:2). How can we do that? Are we supposed to fake our way through it? Are we to put on a happy face when everything in us is hurting? I think our real test is to not become a victim of our own circumstances but instead to be victorious, knowing that through the trial we are being refined. In the process, we are being purged of all that is not like God.
And this is an important process. After all, as Charles Spurgeon once said, "No faith is so precious as that which lives and triumphs in adversity. Tried faith brings experience. You could not have believed your own weakness had you not been compelled to pass through the rivers; and you would never have known God's strength had you not been supported amid the water-floods."

Poems by Eva Haglund

A CHILD WITHOUT A PARENT …
Anyone without God and hope in the world -
is like  a diamond who has been dropped..
is  like  a newborn foal without a mother…
is like a child leave hold of the hand of a mother or father…
who do not have the heavenly Bread-
who do not have Bread of life –Jesus…
We need to give  the Bread from heaven…
He gave his Bread-he gave his life…
The bread was divided in pieces like his heart was crushed
in love and pain for us
He gave everything for us…
He gave his heart…

Eva Haglund

LIFE OF BREAD –JESUS

In John.6:35 you can read that Jesus is the Bread of life. Our heavenly Daddy sent the Bread from heaven. The Bread was made in heaven. It was a heavenly Bread. The world did not have Bread.  God wanted to give the world “food”. We need usual bread. We also Life of Bread . If we do not have this Bread we will die. Without receiving Jesus we will not survive – we need the Bread –Jesus in our lives.

We can think that we as we can be hungry and want usual bread can be hungry after Jesus –more of Jesus. Matt.5 :3 –we shall be hungry after more of God – not thinking we have “got” it or “have” anything. To learn to know Jesus is like to know a sea. It never ends. He is like the sea… To know him is reaching to a level of heaven as is above the sea. He is so big, so we do not understand it! Jesus is the Bread-The Bread of life =The Word.

As we need usual bread every day we need Bread of life =the Word-every day. It is our daily Bread. I want more food today –I want the heavenly Bread –the Word. The Word is like a golden mine –heavenly gold.
The Word is like heavenly gold. The Word is Jesus. He is love. The heavenly gold is love. Jesus is love –the Word is a book –“Love” I think. It is like a mine of diamonds you also can say I think full of heavenly diamonds.
The Bread is fantastic –like a golden Bread or a bread of diamonds if you think about the value. Jesus eat bread with people-he ate together as in Acts.2:46. He share his bread. To eat together I think also can mean fellowship. Jesus had fellowship with people talking –eating together. John.17:21.
Jesus wants the love in Body of Christ to be a testimony to the world. Jesus gave bread to the poor-he shared. James. 1:15-17, Acts.2:44-46. Sisters and broters in the Lord can give our”bread” to each other –different gifts .We need each other in friendship guided by God 1 Kor.12 not just in the churchbuildings.
You can  also have friends in other churches as God wants or has brought to gether if he want.
“The bread” can be shared between churches –gifts. Maybe also usual bread  and maybe help each other financial? The love between Christians Jesus wants to be a testimony to the world.
John.6:51. Jesus gave bread to others . He gave his Bread. He gave his life.
The Bread gave the world life. The world need bread. They need Bread –The Bread of life.
A bread who never get too old –always is fresh. A living Bread – Bread of life.
Jesus is love – the Bread –Love . I am thinking  that to give a piece of bread can be to to give love.
A symbol for love is a heart. The bread was divided in pieces like his heart was crushed in love and pain for us. He gave his heart.
Bread of life – a bread of love.
He is love.
Eva Haglund

JESUS IN FLAMES OF FIRE -FOR YOU

You said – “ I was walking at pieces of glass.”
His back was scourged until blood because he loves you so much.
You said - “ My path was full of thorns “ –
He carried the crown of thorns for you…
You said “ - I felt alone in the burning sun” -
He was abandoned by the Father in deepest pain for you…
You said “ People were laughing at me –and treated me like nothing…”
He was nailed for you…
The pain he felt has no one felt…
He gave everything –the King of all Kings – a servant in love for you …
His love conquered the death...
 He died for you…
Isaiah 53.
