Greetings to my family and friends of Love For His People Ministry. 

I am grateful to the Lord that He continues to give me words of encouragement and inspiration to share with you. And then once I have accumulated a good many I like to publish in a book, making it easier to read as a morning devotional or to pick up anytime and hear what He may be saying again. 

That said, I have now published my 37th book, Being Faithful to the End. 

Being faithful to the end is what each of us has been called to do, by the One Who created us and gives us all we need to complete the tasks set before us. As it is written in Hebrews 3:14-15: “For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.” 

As you read the chapters I have written over a period of several months, I pray you will continue to take the next steps necessary to hear the Lord daily, understand His Word, and obey Him as He leads you into new and amazing ways. 

Whether you are a new believer or one who has known the Lord since your youth, as I have, may His ongoing love and encouragement guide you in all things, as you continue to be faithful to the end of your life.

SILENCE IS NOT GOLDEN

There was a song popular in 1967 entitled, “Silence Is Golden” by The Tremeloes. They were a British band sharing their songs there and in the USA.

But that was then. This is now. We are not to be silent when our voices and courage are to be loud and strong.

As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we are called to speak His Word, share His love, do that which He has commissioned and ordained us to do. That means speaking up.

SILENCE IS NOT GOLDEN are messages to inspire and encourage you to speak, write, go, do that which the Lord has put in your heart to do. We must do it now, or it will be too late.

It is our moment to shine. It is our time, given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ, to take His love, His life, to a needing and dying world. His sacrifice on the cross, His death, His resurrection, had brought Him to this earth to save the nations. Not one. Not two. But all. And He has called us to let the world know.

Do not be silent, for silence is not golden.

Through the Jewish people, whom He chose to express His eternal love, He has shown that He is able to deliver what He has promised and will fulfill all that He has yet to finish. Just look at Israel and the return of the Jews after centuries. It is all in the prophetic Scriptures.

This book is to encourage you to speak up, stand up, and be the one whom the Lord has called, appointed and anointed you to be.

As it was in a popular commercial years ago, before the “wokeness” and “cancel culture” overwhelmed the people with its godless agenda, the USA Armed Services had the statement, “Be all you can be.”

My word to you is, “Be all He has called you to be!”

With this, I hope you read the inspired words the Holy Spirit has given me, and for those not quite into “reading” – enjoy the many photos and images I include!

INTRODUCTION

During the years 1962-1974 my family, with parents Louis and Lila Martin, and my siblings, Sue, Mary, Tom, Colleen, Janet, Lynn and Rob, lived at 1116 Main Street in Cedar Falls, Iowa. That home is pictured on the front cover of this book, and of this date still stands.

It was in that home that we grew in knowledge and truth to trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. With the input given to all of us through our parents, be it during the good and the bad times, a good foundation was laid for our spiritual, social, and natural lives.

I decided to feature that house on the cover because I want to acknowledge that the Lord decides where we live, and move, and exist.

“… and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, 27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;” Acts 17: 26-27, NASB

Since those years have come and gone, my faith in Him has grown, been tested, and still stands strong, continuing to trust in Him day in and day out.

I hope these following chapters encourage you in your walk of faith. And at the end of your days, you will be known as one who has stood strong, still trusting in the Living God. He alone is the One Who can take you to the end, and who constantly watches over Israel and all believers in Him. He is the One too Who is coming back soon again.

INTRODUCTION

I have written several messages that made their way into my books on the subject of pressing on, being faithful, being strong in the Lord, fighting the good fight. These are the days when it will take more than giving verbal acknowledgment and lip service in our commitment to King Jesus. It will take blood, sweat, tears, heartache, and determination to press on even if others have stopped and built a home along the road.

Those of us who have been called, anointed, commissioned for the King’s service has one thing going for us – we are not alone. The Holy Spirit, Ruach HaKodesh, has been promised by the Son Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, to always be with us. He is our Comforter, Our Director, the One Who will lead us on.

This book is meant to encourage you to continue to seek the Living God, the One Who left from Jerusalem, Israel, and is soon to return to Jerusalem, Israel. Be encouraged in your walk. Keep seeking the Lord above. Let Him direct your steps always, as you hear and obey. We both will be happy we did. For eternity!
