Danny Steyne: "God Says the 'And Now!' Moment is Upon Us! Many Things Will Happen NOW!" The Elijah List

Danny Steyne: "God Says the 'And Now!' Moment is Upon Us! Many Things Will Happen NOW!"

The Elijah List Jul 25, 2017

Danny & Karen Steyne
Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
This is a most exciting season that is upon the Body of Christ. It's truly a time of: "Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs" (Isaiah 54:2).
Danny Steyne, who moved to the New England area, shares his prophetic journey, how the Lord encountered him and met him there...and all that is taking place NOW.
AND Danny shares this NOW word to the Body:
The "... AND NOW!" time is upon us. It's the shift that takes us beyond what is happening around us to participate with the shift in our thinking. It's time for the visions of old to be restored to the hearts of the young and old. It's the prophetic words about stadiums being filled, not because we try to make them happen, but because the reality of the Kingdom is so vivid and real that it's occurring in our lives every day. It's the place where sporting events are canceled because the facilities are needed to carry on the work of God.
Enjoy and NOW...I'd like you to make sure and forward this on to everyone you know...and please tell them to subscribe to the Elijah List right here.

Testimony: "And Now to What I've Called You!"
The word came so clearly on a recent morning. A crystal clear, "And now!" I knew exactly what was happening. In August 2012, I was doing a conference in Natick, MA called "The Greatest Awakening III: For Such a Time As This!" In the first session Brian Simmons prophesied that I would be moving to New England and that the favor of God would be on it. Later, he told me God was going to give us a house...a huge one in New England. Following that conference, a flurry of spiritual activity began surging through our lives.
Two weeks later I heard the Lord say to me, "What are you doing?" I told Him I was waiting for an open door, and He quickly reminded me that apostolic ministry never requires an open door—it requires obedience. I knew I had to announce we were leaving South Carolina and moving to New England, although we had no idea where, and we sent an email to all those who had been a part of our lives and ministry through the years, indicating so.
As I heard the "woosh" of the email being sent out to thousands of people, I heard an audible, "And now to what I've called you!" I was overpowered by the Holy Spirit as He came all over me and I realized that I was about to see what I had so longed for through my life—a move of the Spirit of God that eclipsed all previous moves. A move that would be what Bob Jones would call, "The Awakening that will never end." A move that wasn't hype-centered but where people turned to the Lord in great power and where His presence became so impacting that society and culture itself would change. (Photo via Danny Steyne Facebook)
A couple who live in the shadow of Cape Canaveral, Florida said as they opened the email I sent, they heard their windows rattle. Thinking that it was a space shuttle taking off, they looked outside and realized it wasn't happening that day. They went back to read my email and one said to the other, "What is God up to?"
Two weeks after that my wife Karen put our home on Craigslist, and two days later a contract was signed to lease our house in South Carolina. We had to be out of the home one month later. Two weeks after the lease was signed, I was with James Levesque and Brian Simmons in New England for a conference and scheduled an additional day to look for housing. I still had no clue where our house would be, but thought it must be in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Connecticut because the housing we had picked out online was in those three areas.
That Monday morning only seven of the twenty-some houses we had gleaned from were available. At the fourth house the Lord spoke audibly that this was the house for a season. Two weeks later we moved into that house, and one week later over a hundred people gathered with us there. Suddenly the "...and now" began to happen!
"I began realizing that the "...and now" was much bigger than what I thought."
This part of the journey has continued as we meet every Tuesday night in my home with people coming literally from all over New England, the northeast, as well as visitors from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, the Pacific and all across the United States...often packing our home out beyond capacity!
Redefining Church and the Awakening Angels
As I drove the truck up to New England (while moving there), several encounters would inspire me to realize that this was going to be one of the most significant periods of history to come to New England. I asked the Lord, "What do You want me to do here?" His response seemed rather blunt and audacious, "What I want isn't here yet; I want you to take over!" I wasn't exactly sure what that meant, but I kept pressing in and His response began to explain something that continues to teach me and keep me dependent on His voice, "I want you to redefine Church!"
ElijahList Prophetic Resources
Immediately I realized that I had no clue what that meant. How do you redefine a boat or something that is already in the mind and perception of people? How do you redefine what people have come to believe and give it new terminology so they don't revert to what they have always seen and known. Most of us, and I'm including myself, are far more comfortable with what we have come to know as "normal," and we easily revert to that place when difficulty sets in.
I began realizing that the "...and now" was much bigger than what I thought. I should have realized it back then, when I had approached my exit in Connecticut and huge angels lined the highway like a parade of some sorts as we drove to our destination. I asked the Lord who they were and He said, "These are 'Awakening' angels." I certainly should have realized it when, at the end of that parade in the middle of the road, an angel whom I've encountered around the world in several meetings, once again stood in front of me, looming over the road. (Photo via Stockfreedotorg)
This angel's blue hue has become very familiar to me and for the first time Michael spoke to me, "Are you ready?" My response was, "Let's do this thing!" The morning when I heard, "...and now!" I recalled the words spoken by others, the dream of God that "every knee bow," and the heart cry to see the Western World overwhelmed by the power of God as so often happens in the Third World countries. I remembered what the Lord spoke when He said to me, "The Third World prays for revival and they get harvest; the Western World prays for revival and they get happy!"
I've learned that "soon" is not what I think, but what He knows. No man knows but the Father KNOWS! I've learned that words given or received thirty and forty years before are not discardable...they require the patience and trust to see the Father bring them about.
"...a move of the Spirit of God that eclipsed all previous moves."
More and more I'm watching God speaking to people in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond, that they will yet see what He has promised them. Recently during a funeral of a precious man, Frank (who, at 93 years old, traveled an hour and half each way every week to our meeting in Connecticut), I learned he had led five people to Jesus two days before he slipped into a coma and passed away three days after that. In Frank's last conversation with me he said, "I'm just learning so much right now!"
"...AND NOW" is Upon Us!
It's what has been prophesied where the news is once again "truthful" and says, "We have no bad news tonight, just good news. The stadiums are filled with people, they are coming from everywhere, they can't even all get in, there are ambulances and hearses lined up, people are being healed and set free, and we don't know who these men and women are on the stage as they are nameless and faceless...but it doesn't matter who they are because they are all saying the same thing: Jesus is Lord!"
It's not pie in the sky. It's not a seeker-sensitive model that can attract crowds. It's not the theme, new thought, new doctrine, nor the speaker that is coming! It's Jesus in the center! It's the same thing that could take a nation with several young people preaching, "Bend me, Lord," repeatedly and a nation would bow and everything except Jesus would stop (Welsh Revival). It's the same thing when the presence of God would emanate so much through a man, a lawyer (Charles Finney), that over a third of the nation would turn to the Lord as the power of God broke through and brought freedom to those "strong men" that controlled society in his day, rather than rail against them!
Our God has NEVER relied on the means of men to accomplish His purpose, but He has purposely established a WAY of giving His own authority and release of His Kingdom's power, love, joy, and peace to those who simply believe. It is for such a time as this that you have been placed on the earth "...AND NOW to what I've called you!" (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Phil Keaggy - Time HD - Classic Rare Footage Video!!!

Phil Keaggy - Time
Classic rare footage!

Phil Keaggy – "Time" Lyrics
Well He hasn't always been around
And He won't always be.
But He's on the move at this moment
Measuring life for you and me.

I fear we all submit to him
Existing anxiously,
And no one is able to turn him off
Except the Lord who holds the key.

When the Lord stops him, that'll be it,
Too late for apologies.
Too late to forgive your brother,
Too late to get on your knees.
When the Lord stops him, that'll be it,
Too late to help the needy
And worst of all it's too late to turn
You must face eternity.

His name is Time and he's coming to an end.
His name is Time where will you be my friend?
His name is Time and he's coming to an end.

His name is Time where will you be my friend?

Most people think he'll never stop
He'll go on perpetually,
But old man time is running out
And he'll cease eventually.

NOW Is The Time - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

NOW Is The Time
- Now Think On This
by Steve Martin

“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.” Ecclesiates 3:1 NAS

When the Word of the Lord comes to you and speaks softly in your inner spirit, saying, “NOW is the time,” you know that you know it is time. Something in your spirit then responds “Yes!” He doesn’t have to spell it out for you. That “it” – that something you have been waiting for, is now going to happen. You just know that it is the time. He has spoken.

Each of us are waiting on something. Some of you for a decent job, to replace the one or two part-time ones that you have had for awhile. Or the current job that you now have causes you to drag yourself out of bed each weekday morning, hoping that soon another will soon come along.

Others are anticipating the day when they will meet “the one”, trying not to lose hope in the process.

One of you reading this just wants the Lord to heal that nagging, hurting nerve. It has been painful for over a year now, causing loss of sleep and all that comes with a chronic issue. Enough already with the Aleve twice a day.

And yet several of you have been waiting for that release into your God-given dream; to touch the nations, to help the helpless, to have your life count for something, for all eternity. After all, the prophetic word came when you were 24. Now you are almost 40. What is up with that?

Waiting on the Lord and His timing can do one of two things. One, it can make you resentful that it hasn’t happened already, eventually turning your heart into bitterness for the Lord and His people, which then ultimately has you believing nothing that the Lord has spoken to you will ever come to pass.

Or two, you are maintaining that trust in His faithfulness, knowing deep down that though you can’t see the promise fulfilled, which may yet be far off, you keep pressing on. Because He has proven Himself to you in your past, you know that somehow, someway, someday He will be there to do it again. You are believing the Scripture for what it exactly says, and which has been speaking directly to you

You really believe the Scripture, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1. NASB)

I especially like these following verses that talk about Abraham’s and Sarah’s faith. Being in my “latter” years, or better yet, my “fine wine prime time golden ways of gray hair days” years, they are especially meaningful to me.

“By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise; for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised. Therefore there was born even of one man, and him as good as dead at that, as many descendants as the stars of heaven in number, and innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. (Hebrews 11:8-12 NASB)

The Lord understands our weaknesses. He knows where we are at. After all, He created us.

Today I heard the Lord say, “NOW is the time.” I have been waiting. Let it now be done according to your word, my Lord.

He is speaking to you too. The waiting is over. NOW is the time.

Now think on this,

Now Is the Time To Claim God's Promises! by Carol Kelley

Carol Kelley:
Now Is the Time
To Claim God's Promises!
The Elijah List

Carol Kelley
It's Time!

Recently, I had two dreams about claiming God's prophetic promises. In the first, four wristwatches were in a dish with some other jewelry, set atop a night stand. I awoke, immediately fell back asleep, and had a second dream. In it I saw a newspaper headline that read, "Redeem."

I awoke from the second dream, asked the Lord what He was seeking to communicate to me, and pondered several of the symbols represented in this pair of dreams:
• Jewelry – something precious; gifts from God.
• Clocks in dreams and visions represent time, so a wristwatch symbolizes the present time.
• Four – reigning; God's Kingdom, God's creation.
          • Five (the total number of wristwatches, including the one I was wearing) – grace, redemption.

          • Night stand – God's promises will stand, even when all is dark and daylight seems a long way off.
• Newspaper – prophecy.

This is the interpretation that He showed me:

It's time to claim God's promisesGod has valuable, precious gifts for every Believer. Some we are already aware of, while others await our discovery. Now is the time to reign with Christ and live in His Kingdom, not just in the future in Heaven. God has redeemed us through His grace; His promises will stand.

He will help us redeem and make the most of our NOW time (see Ephesians 5:16). Now is the time to claim His prophetic promises!

(Photo via Stock.xchange by skingolf)

Here are some Biblical references about God's words:
• Psalm 119:130 – "The unfolding of Your words gives light...[and] understanding..."
• Psalm 119:140 – "Your word (promise) is very pure..."
• Isaiah 40:8 – "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever."
• Isaiah 55:11 – "So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."
• Luke 1:20, 30 – God's words WILL be fulfilled in their proper time. His favor and approval lessens our fear.
• 2 Timothy 3:16 – "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness..."
How Can You Know If A Prophetic Word Is Really From God?

You may be wondering, "How can I know if a prophetic word is really from God?"

This is an excellent question. When my husband Dave and I teach others about prophecy, we use numerous Scriptures, especially 1 Corinthians 14:3 – "One who prophesies speaks...for edification and exhortation and consolation," and 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21 – "Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good."

There is nothing wrong with testing prophetic words that are spoken to you; in fact, it is a wise practice.

Does not the ear test words?Testing a word does not mean that you are questioning the Lord or the person who prophesied it, but that you are seeking confirmation. "Does not the ear test words...?"(Job 12:11).

(Photo via Stock.xchange by 13dede)
• Does a word meet the test of 1 Corinthians 14:3 – edification, exhortation, and comfort?
Prophecies should never be used as a vehicle for controlling or condemning others. "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). God's words bring us hope. "'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord, 'plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope'" (Jeremiah 29:11).
• Does a prophetic word given to you line up with the truth of God as expressed in His written Word, the Bible?
The Lord will not contradict Himself. "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19).
• Does a prophetic word bear witness with your own spirit, or does something about it seem "off"? "
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God..." (1 John 4:1). In the New Testament model of prophecy God primarily uses prophetic words to confirm what you're already hearing from Him. He doesn't expect you to make a major life change on the basis of one word prophesied to you. Even in the Old Testament the Lord confirmed His words. Abraham (see Genesis 15 & 17), Moses (see Exodus 3-4), and Gideon (see Judges 6-7) all received multiple confirmations from God.
• Does a prophetic word exalt or glorify an individual or group, or does it exalt and glorify Jesus Christ by helping propel others forward in their walk with God?
Encouragement, exhortation, and comfort (see 1 Corinthians 14:3) are key elements in prophecy. Reject words that are manipulative. God desires for us to walk in confidence, avoiding both condemnation and conceit."For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith" (Romans 12:3).
Worship by Marybeth StaffordUse these various tests to confirm if a word is from the Lord. If so, then CLAIM it, DECLARE it, BELIEVE it, and REST in His truth and faithfulness (see Lamentations 3:22-23; I Thessalonians 5:24). God's words WILL be fulfilled at the proper time (see Luke 1:20)!

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3

How To Claim And Wait Patiently In Rest For the Lord's Promises

Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him, and He will do it...Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently (or longingly) for Him...Psalm 37:5, 7

Resting may sometimes seem counterproductive. We can become distracted by "much service," like Martha, during the times Jesus wants us to rest in His presence and listen to Him (see Luke 10:38-42). Yes, it's important to confirm and follow God's directions to us, while also realizing it's up to Him to fulfill His words; we can't make them happen through our own effort or striving. God's grace and His acceptance of us enable us to rest in Him. And when we rest, it's often easier to hear from the Lord. When Elisha rested, he received a God-inspired idea and further direction for ministry (see 2 Kings 4:8-17).

Last summer I had a dream about studying a five-word phrase in the Bible. But the location of this phrase did not appear in the dream. I awoke and asked the Lord where to read, and heard,"Exodus 5." (Keep in mind that five prophetically represents God's grace. Here were two fives – Exodus chapter 5, and a five-word phrase.)

God met with usExodus 5 is the account of Moses and Aaron going to Pharaoh, and declaring that God said to release His people from bondage (see verse 1). Pharaoh was unimpressed, saying, "Who is the Lord that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, and besides, I will not let Israel go" (verse 2). Then Pharaoh added, "Moses and Aaron, why do you draw the people away from their work? Get back to your labors!" (verse 4).

He accused the Israelites of being lazy (see verses 8, 17), and gave the people an added burden of labor (see verses 9-19). The elders of Israel blamed Moses and Aaron for this injustice (see verses 20-21). Moses in turn complained to God (see verses 22-23). In Exodus 6, the Lord spoke again to Moses, reassuring him He was responsive to Israel's suffering and would keep His promise (see verse 5) to redeem them (see verse 6).

(Photo via Wikimedia Commons by Benjamin West)

The Lord drew me to Exodus 5:3. There I found the five-word phrase to study – Moses and Aaron said to Pharaoh, "God...has met with us."
• God – the Holy One, the King of all, the Creator of the universe.
• Has – God really did speak to Moses and Aaron; they were not imagining it.
• Met – The Lord met individually with both Moses (see Exodus 3; 4:1-17, 19-23) and Aaron (see Exodus 4:27), to communicate with them. God could have overwhelmed Moses and forced him to obey, but He chose to dialogue and give Moses grace.
• With – Jesus is our Emmanuel, God With Us (see Matthew 1:21-23; Isaiah7:14).
• Us – God confirmed his words and plans not only to Moses, but also to Jethro, Moses' father-in-law (see Exodus 4:18); Aaron (see Exodus 4:27-28); the elders of Israel (see Exodus 3:16-18, 4:29-30); and the people (see Exodus 3:15, 4:30-31).
Soaking, Marinating In His Presence by Linda Harris-IorioAfter I pondered these five words, the Lord communicated to me: "I will come through in My time! I want you to be released and freed from your heavy labors. Satan and others may accuse you of being lazy, but I compel you to rest!"

Jesus invites us to come to Him and rest from our striving, our working to exhaustion (see Matthew 11:28-30). By His sacrifice and provision for our sin, we are freed from the law of sin and death (see Romans 8:2). He came to set us free (see John 8:32, 36) that we might have abundant life in Him (see John 10:10).

When Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness (see Matthew 4:1; Mark 1:12; Luke 4:1), He walked in obedience to the Father. He fasted for forty days, and became hungry (see Matthew 4:2; Luke 4:2). Satan tempted Jesus to make bread (see Matthew 4:3, Mark1:13; Luke 4:3); though hungry, Jesus did not sin.

When God led Israel out of Egypt into the wilderness, His children complained and doubted Him. Still, he showed them grace and fed them "bread" (manna) every day (see Exodus 16:12-29, 35). Even after Israel habitually sinned and rebelled against God (see Numbers 13-14), He continued to feed and provide for them during forty years of desert wanderings (see Deuteronomy 8:2-4).
Jesus is our Bread of Life (see John 6:35, 48, 51), the provision for our need.

He said that we don't live by bread alone, but by every word coming from God (see Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3). The Law came through Moses, but grace and truth through Jesus Christ (see John 1:17).

So now is the time to claim God's promises to you!

In His grace,
