Prophecy: Your Extensive Spiritual Warfare Is About to Become Your Increase

If you have been through an extensive season of warfare, especially in the last nine months, as the Hebrew year 5777 brought about a clashing of kingdoms and an increased tension between your barren place and your promise, you will now find starting this month—the warfare begins to convert into your increase and advancement.
This is where it pays off! This is far from just a feel-good word but more of a kairos word burning hot in my spirit. I feel like I have been birthing this deep in my belly for weeks now, and I pray it unleashes encouragement, strength and life back to you—shifting your eyes off the storm and back onto the Promised Land in front of you.
The Enemy Caught Out
Recently, through a series of dreams, God began showing me the significance of this season and why it feels like all of hell has been dispatched to bring every believer down. I hear it every day, not to mention that we have experienced more warfare this year than ever before. This tells me that there is something valuable the enemy doesn't want us accessing.
In one dream, I saw the body of Christ backed into a corner with many dark and evil voices of slander and opposition ridiculing and mocking her; kicking, cursing and accusing her. It was as if the sole focus of the enemy was to intimidate and bully the church into a defenseless position until she ran out of energy, hope and vision. But suddenly, I heard an almighty, loud sound of, "No more! No more! No more!" This sound resounded until the body rose up and fought back, and the enemy shrieked and ran in terror. She then stood up and opened a door that said "destiny" upon it.
This speaks volumes to me about the season we are in as the body of Christ. Once bullied and intimidated into the corner, feeling weak and powerless, we suddenly were rising up, overcoming and defeating the obstacles that the enemy placed before us.
This is truly a season of discovering the power and authority we possess and beginning to take dominion in the earth; seizing back the mountains of influence for the kingdom and awakening the earth to the sound of triumph and freedom.
In another dream, a man came to my door trying to steal my mail. He was madly racing around my house in an attempt to break in and steal my mail, trying to take "an invitation" he thought I wasn't meant to open. The next day, the Lord said to me that the enemy is trying to intercept the invitation that will release people into their breakthrough and promise. He is doing anything he can to distract people in one area so he can enter through another route into our lives that we didn't expect, to rob us from the promise. I say no more to you being robbed, and that repayment begins now!
"But if he is found, he will restore sevenfold; he will give all the substance of his house" (Prov. 6:31).
As Fuel for the Fire
For over two years now, our youngest daughter, Sophie, has been constantly facing a specific health issue that has found us in the ER many times and for multiple days at a time. It would always happen at times we were experiencing breakthrough or we could sense that we were about to. Recently, one early morning, Sophie was yet again in the ER for these same issues (that we have actually seen miraculously healed in services we have been in).
So here we were with her, surrounded by a few doctors discussing the situation, but despite the negative tones and the facts of what they were saying, something in my spirit said, "No, this is a violation!" I felt like I had just had enough from being ripped off. I got up and began praying in the spirit when suddenly this Scripture came to me.
"For all the sandals of the tramping warriors and all the garments rolled in blood shall be burned as fuel for the fire" (Isa. 9:5).
Something happened in that moment I won't forget, like an out-of-body experience, almost celebrating the soon to come victory. It was like I could taste it! When you have been through the fire enough, you begin to learn that victory always follows—every time. Sure enough, God turned the situation around, and the doctors were confused by her rapid recovery. It reminded me of the Scripture: "And having disarmed authorities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them by the cross" (Col. 2:15).
When God fights for you and shuts down the enemy's plans, it becomes a public spectacle. It becomes a beacon to the world that you have something different about you, or rather living inside of you. If you haven't experienced breakthrough, don't feel condemned. Just know that God is changing your win-history, and it's about time that you see every dark and crushing moment of your life become fuel for the fire—and converted into blessing.
I prophesy that you are about to see the enemy caught out in many areas he has been stealing from you, and I prophesy that you will step into a new arena of breakthrough and victory that you didn't have before in Jesus' name!
This Is Your 'No More' Moment!
Maybe like Joseph you have felt like your life has been a constant string of unjust situations, and maybe right now you still feel imprisoned. You need to know that nothing goes to waste. Like Joseph said in this passage as he was upgraded to the second in charge of Egypt: "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many lives" (Gen. 50:20).
I see the enemy being caught out in your life where you have been delayed and diverted, sideswiped and paralyzed. I prophesy that this is a time of repayment for every area you have been robbed and harassed. You will experience a seven-fold return for every attack sent to your doorstep.
Every place of harm the enemy brought to your home, your spouse, children and extended family, every bondage and stronghold he latched to your family line that wreaked havoc, and every inch of death and sorrow he inflicted upon you—is being broken right now!
You are a dangerous weapon in God's hand, and right now there is a sound of awakening ringing around the earth. The enemy is going to wish he didn't mess with you because of the unrelenting and unstoppable fire that is released everywhere you go, disrupting systems of chaos and captivity in your wake. The floodgates are now open and it's a time of recompense and vindication for what was stolen. Can you hear the sound of awakening?
This is your no more moment. Your moment to make a declaration and prayer—that no more will you be a slave and pawn to the enemy. No more will you live under the weight and control of a demonic master, and no more will you allow anyone but Jesus to influence your heart again. I invite you to pray to Jesus right now and ask that He would remove every yoke of the oppressor and He would restore you and increase you from this day forward.
The Midnight Season Is Over
More than any other season, so many believers have been robbed in their night seasons. Where once they were dreaming and encountering God, they have been suddenly warring and fighting for peace. Many have been gripped by unexpected fear and anxiety, insomnia and torment.
Without a doubt, night seasons have been one of the most resisted and opposed places, because the enemy knows how powerful dreams are in this time. It is the new language people are learning as they are diving deeper into the oceans of God.
However, I have never seen more people being set free right now than those who have been robbed of their nights. They will be suddenly restored and hearing God in a fresh way. As I was writing this word I heard the Lord say, "Prophesy that the midnight season is over," and so I decree that over you today!
Your midnight season is over. Your season of living powerless, surrounded by the weight of the fight, is over. This month you will upgrade and rise above every noise and distraction into a newfound hope and expectation, and you will cross over into the new place God has for you, in Jesus' name!

Radical Adjustments & Reassignments Coming by Doug Addison

On January 3, I had a major encounter in which the Lord spoke to me that over the next three weeks there would be some radical adjustments and changes coming for us all. God spoke to me that the last week of January would be a significant time for this to begin.
The Heavenly Adjustment Department
There have been some changes in many people's callings. New assignments were released from the heavenly adjustment department. This will be the start of some major realignments and reassignments coming over the next few months. Many people have been experiencing serious levels of discouragement and warfare. I have been praying daily for a breakthrough about this for myself and for others.
On January 16, God spoke to me that my case in Heaven had been reviewed and an adjustment offer had been released. I have never heard this before and it took me by surprise. I also heard that this was happening to many people right now.
New Offers Being Given
I was told by God that after reviewing my ministry, I was being offered a choice. I could continue in the current position that I occupy in the Kingdom of God, or I could take a special assignment that would produce more results in the Kingdom with regard to the upcoming revival.
For years I have been a "Courts of Heaven Reporter." I have had to get up daily at 4:00 AM to journal and write out what I am hearing from God. But this changed last year when I was promoted to a "Courts of Heaven Prophet," which comes with a lot of interaction in the heavenly realm and being part of counsel meetings similar to what is described in Zechariah 3. It also brings extreme levels of spiritual warfare.
Something changed for me again last month. I heard the Lord say, "I need you in the streets to raise up an army for Me." I knew that if I took this new assignment, then the supernatural encounters that I have been having daily would reduce dramatically. I would still be a prophet, but my assignment and position would change. I knew that what appears to be a demotion on Earth is indeed a promotion in God's eyes.
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." 1 Peter 5:6 NIV
Jesus took a major demotion when He left His place of glory and came to Earth to save us all. He will promote the humble and the Lord is saying over and over right now that "due time is overdue." There is a backlog of repayment and unanswered prayers coming to many people.
I was given a choice and the Lord said He would bless me either way. I chose the new assignment, which is actually an upgraded version of my original calling for prophetic evangelism. I have to admit that the morning after I decided to take the new assignment it felt really strange to me as things changed majorly. I was still hearing God, but I suddenly had limits to my heavenly interactions.
But when we make decisions that will help grow the Kingdom, we will be blessed.
"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life." Matthew 19:29 NIV
Safety and Blessings
God has hidden many people away in prison like Joseph in Genesis 41. Joseph was released suddenly and repaid for all his pain and suffering. The prison was not a fun place to be, but it was a place of hope and safety to him as he waited for the fulfillment of the dreams God had given to him as a child (Genesis 37). God spoke to me that He is beginning to call forth the prisoners of hope.
"Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles." Zechariah 9:12 NLT
This is a time to press in to the Lord in prayer and get ready for your marching orders that will come starting in March. God is going to start releasing the prisoners of hope. He is going to bring new hope and use you to bring hope to people in need of His love.
So get your hopes up because you are going to be repaid double for all your trouble.
Strategic Season of Dreams
February will mark the release of strategic dreams from God. Watch for dreams and night visitations as higher-level revelation is going to start pouring out to you. In some cases, you might not remember these types of dreams or visitations. The reason for this is that God is going to reveal it to you in a way that will hide it from the enemy.
"During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him." Daniel 2:19–22 NIV
God is releasing wisdom and power and concealing strategies and revelation. This will help hide your promotion and plans from the enemy and bring you less warfare. Times and seasons are changing quickly so be aware that the way you currently do things might not work in the new season that is upon us now.
The Lord is releasing deep and hidden things over the next month. He is going to reveal the plans of the enemy against you and bring them into the light. Watch for a change in affiliations and locations to start unfolding.
Prophetic Dream: Pilots and Season Change
I had a prophetic dream last month and in this dream, I had been promoted and was working for an airport. I watched as jets were diverted into a remote area for landing due to construction. I was told that this was going to go on for the next several months. It looked very muddy, slippery and dangerous. I watched one plane that was full of pilots who had been through so much stress that when they landed they had all passed out and were asleep.
I went to the remote area where they were deplaning. I wanted to bring them water because I knew they were dehydrated. The water bins were all half empty and there was no fresh water for them. I found two bottles but by the time I found them they had all started getting transportation to the terminal. My new supervisor (an angel) told me not to worry about it. I was really concerned that these pilots needed water, but they were all moving quickly with a new purpose.
Then I talked to one of the pilots who looked like Tom Cruise. He told me that he has to really pay attention to the flight process now and he needed to plan ahead in order to avoid storms and things like this. My sense was that the season had changed and things were radically different now, so we can no longer go on "autopilot."
This dream shows us that we are in a time of transition and uncertainty, but God is aware of our needs and He has us covered. The unconscious pilots represent leaders that are now coming out of a difficult time. They are waking up to a new calling and they will not be able to do things the way we have in the past.
Get ready for things to start happening much more quickly! Get ready for deeper dreams in February and for your marching orders to come starting in March.

When I was driving to Orlando for Christmas, I heard the Lord say, "Next." I started meditating on that word "next." I looked it up on the dictionary. In other words, I pressed into what the Lord ways saying. The Lord showed me next-level assignments, next-level warfare and next-level blessings. Our cry this year is going to be "Next!"
Here's what the Lord spoke to my heart: "Those who are seeing first the kingdom of God this year are going to see an acceleration. You are going to advance faster than you've ever advanced. You will find angelic assistance on your journey, and you will need it. One assignment will come after another. At times, you'll have more than one assignment at the same time. The warfare will also be next level but you will defeat one enemy after another after another after another. And the blessings will come in rapid succession. Each time you finish an assignment, each time you conquer your spiritual foe, you will see new-level blessings in your life. You will see it as you stand your ground, as you obey My leading and as you seek My heart."
It's time to step out of the ordinary into the extraordinary. It's time to step out of our comfort zones and into the abundance zone. It's time to step out of the past and into the next! Let's unpack this "next" word so we can cooperate with the grace of God as the Lord releases the angels of abundant harvest.
1. Next-level assignments, David is a great example of next-level assignments. As a teenager, David's first assignment was to tend to sheep in the field. As he tells the story, "Your servant was a shepherd for my father's flock, and the lion came and the bear, and took a lamb out of the flock. And I went out after him, and struck him, and delivered it out of his mouth. And when he arose against me, I took hold of his beard, struck him, and killed him. Your servant slew both the lion and the bear" (1 Sam. 17:34-36).
When David heard there was a giant opposing the armies of the living God, I can imagine him saying, "Next!" He didn't hesitate to step into his next-level assignment. The Bible says he ran to the battle line after prophesying Goliath's defeat (1 Sam. 17:45-51). David struck down Goliath with a sling and a stone. As you step into the next-level assignments, there will be next-level warfare, but your Goliaths will fall.
This is the time to ask the Lord, "What is my next assignment? What's next?" People are going to be jealous of you, like Saul was jealous of David. But you will bless and curse not. You will move in the opposite spirit and maintain your authority in the spirit.
2. Next-level warfare. Paul said, "For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries" (1 Cor. 16:9) The Message translation says, "A huge door of opportunity for good work has opened up here. (There is also mushrooming opposition)." In other words, new level, new devil. Sometimes you fight the new devil before you get to the new level.
In the spirit, you are like one of David's mighty men—even greater! Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. If one of David's mighty men, Josheb-Basshebeth, could slay 800 in one occasion, what can you do? One can put 1,000 to flight and two can put 10,000 to flight (Deut. 32:30).
3. Next-level blessings. When we're obedient to accept the assignments of the Lord and we refuse to grow weary in well-doing until the assignment is complete, we're going to tap into next-level blessings. We must finish the assignment to tap into the blessing! If you have half-completed assignments, if you are procrastinating, unlock your blessing by crossing the finish line and start decreeing the blessings in Deuteronomy 28 over your life now with a "next" in your heart.
Matthew 6:33 Is Key
Matthew 6:33 is the key Scripture here to stepping into this prophecy: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you." The Amplified translation expands on this: "But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides."
Make a decision today to seek the Lord first and foremost and listen to His voice. Discipline yourself to rise up early in the morning or cut out unprofitable activities in exchange for eternal rewards. Feed yourself a steady diet of the Word of God, pray, fast and believe. This is the year of the next level. Let's soar like eagles for the glory of God!

Are you ready to be part of the Joshua Generation? (Lightstock )
This prophetic word for 2016 addresses neither the world, nor the church at large, but instead the remnant church.
For the past seven years (2009-2015) the Lord addressed His remnant as the Jacob Generation—who with clean hands and a pure heart daily ascended the hill of the Lord to seek His face in the secret place. This remnant received a promise of blessing from the Lord that will now be realized in this next seven-year season (2016-2022).
"Who may ascend the hill of theLord?Who may stand in His holy place?He who has clean hands and a pure heart;who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity,nor sworn deceitfully.He will receive the blessing from theLord,and righteousness from the God of his salvation.This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,who seek Your face. Selah" (Ps. 24:3-6, MEV).
During this next seven-year season, the Lord is bringing forth His rising remnant as the Joshua Generation, who will accompany the King of Glory, the Lord of Armies, into battle. Indeed, the remnant church is entering a season not only of blessing, but also of glory and of war.
"Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you everlasting doors, that the King of glory may enter. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift up, you everlasting doors, that the King of glory may enter. Who is He—this King of glory? The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah" (Ps. 24:7-10, MEV).
In order to better understand the season God is moving the remnant church into, we need to contrast and compare the characteristics of the season we have exited with the season we are now entering.
Intimacy vs. Authority
Intimacy with God precedes authority in God. Over the past seven years, the Lord has been wooing His Bride into the holy place. Like Jacob, who at Bethel saw the angels of God ascending and descending upon a ladder through the gate of heaven, the Lord has beckoned His remnant to seek His face in the secret place. As the Jacob Generation has come to know the Lord and His purposes in the former season, He can now trust them with His authority and power as the Joshua Generation in this new season (Gen. 28:16-17).
Knowing vs. Doing
As the Jacob Generation, the remnant church has come to know God. Now as the Joshua Generation, the remnant church must do exploits for God. In these last days, it is crucial that the remnant church arise and expand the rule of King Jesus in the earth. Thy Kingdom come!
"By flatteries he will corrupt those who act wickedly toward the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and take action" (Daniel 11:32, MEV).
Revelation vs. Revolution
The Jacob Generation, having come to a revelation of God, must now, as the Joshua Generation, lead a righteous revolution for God. Through the spirit of wisdom and understanding, we have come to know God's ways, words and works. Through the spirit of knowledge, we have come to know God's purposes, provision and power. However, in this next season, the Spirit of the Lord is entrusting to us His divine authority and anointing that we might lead a righteous revolution. Moreover, the spirit of council is revealing God's strategic battle plans while the spirit of might is releasing God's power that we might do exploits in His name (Eph. 1:17-19).
Waiting vs. Warfare
Intimacy with God requires waiting on God. As we wait upon the Lord, our strength is being renewed, enabling us to soar as eagles, run through a troop and jump over walls into the enemy camp. In other words, waiting on God produces the strength necessary to war with God. No less than five times did the Lord exhort Joshua to "be strong and of good courage" as he prepared Israel to possess their promised land and depose the giants of Canaan (Josh. 1:6-7, 9, 18; Josh. 10:25; Ps. 18:29; Is. 40:31).
Abiding Under vs. Presiding Over
The Jacob Generation dwelt in the secret place of the Most High and abided under the shadow of the Almighty. In contrast, the Joshua Generation presided over the enemies of Canaan, trampling lions and serpents underfoot. In other words, the Jacob Generation retreated into the presence of God, whereas the Joshua Generation now advances into enemy territory (Ps. 91:1-2, 13).
Concession vs. Possession
Jacob played "Let's Make a Deal" with his Uncle Laban to obtain his prized possession—Rachel. After laboring for seven years for Rachel, Jacob was deceived into marrying Leah, Rachel's sister. After making concessions to obtain what man had promised, Jacob became disillusioned. On the contrary, Joshua led Israel out of the wilderness to take possession of what God had promised. Likewise, the remnant church is entering into a season of possession, as it is our time to possess the promises of God (Gen. 29:18, 27).
Joshua 1:3, 11 says, "I have given you every place that the sole of your foot shall tread, as I said to Moses'" (MEV).
Intimate Worship vs. Warfare Praise
The remnant church is transitioning from ministering to the Lord to ministering for the Lord. As priests, the Jacob Generation worshipped at His holy hill at the feet of Jesus. As kings, the Joshua Generation, through high praise, now executes judgments secured from heavenly courts that bind rulers of darkness over nations (Ps. 149:5-9).
Preparation vs. Promotion
Over the past seven years, the Jacob Generation has been prepared in the crucible of affliction and has found solace in the secret place—hidden away with God. Having passed the wilderness tests of affliction, neglect, abuse and silence, the Joshua Generation in this new season will arise, emerge from the shadows and experience divine promotion.
Reproach vs. Recommendation
The reproach of men experienced by the Jacob Generation will be overshadowed by the commendation of God. In this season, the Lord will demonstrate that He has not changed His mind about the Joshua Generation by recommending and honoring them before men. Those that have stood in the remnant's way in the past season will be of no consequence (Is. 61:7, Josh. 1:5).
Obscurity vs. Opportunity
Years of obscurity will be swallowed up by divine opportunity. While God hid the Jacob Generation to protect and prepare them in the former season, He is now bringing the Joshua Generation to the forefront to fulfill divine destiny. Those who have been faithful over little for years will now be ruler over much. For many in the remnant church, 2016 will be a make-or-break year. God is opening doors for the remnant that no man can shut. Indeed, the remnant church is entering into a season of divine grace and opportunity that we must embrace by faith. It's now or never! No more delay!
"The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder. Then he shall open, and no one shall shut. And he shall shut, and no one shall open" (Is. 22:22, MEV).
Hardship & Pain vs. Harvest & Gain
Jacob labored in the wilderness for seven years to receive and enjoy his prized possession—Rachel. During this painful season of preparation, God produced perseverance, character and hope in Jacob. In this new season, Jacob's hope will be realized, as the Lord moves the remnant from a season of deference into a season of preference. The sufferings of the wilderness will not be worthy to be compared with the glory revealed through us in our promised land flowing with milk and honey (Deut. 26:9; Prov. 13:12; Rom. 5:3-5; Rom. 8:18).
Incarceration vs. Liberation
Jacob suffered a form of incarceration for 14 years under his Uncle Laban, whereas Joshua was liberated from 40 years in the wilderness. The year 2016 is a Jubilee year in which the Lord is liberating His remnant church from reproach, shame, doubt, cynicism and grief. It's a year to proclaim and experience liberty in every aspect of our lives (Lev. 25:10).
Sanctification vs. Supernatural
The degree to which the Jacob Generation sanctified themselves over the past seven years will be the measure in which signs, wonders and miracles will be wrought through the Joshua Generation in this new season. Tomorrow is here! The time is now for the remnant to arise and the Lord to do wonders among us.
"Joshua said to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will perform wondrous deeds among you'" (Josh. 3:5, MEV).

At this time of year, there is a heightened level of demonic activity. The hearts of Americans are also being gripped by fear as Ebola ravages lives and communities, Islamic terrorism escalates, and our national security is severely threatened by open borders. We are reminded, however, "...we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul"(Heb. 10:39).
God is calling his remnant warriors to rise above this deluge of wickedness and employ the weapons of our warfare, which have the power to destroy even the mightiest of strongholds (2 Cor. 10:4). We cannot be tactical in our approach, however. God is calling us to a higher level in our warfare. As the church seeks God's direction for moving forward in victory, I feel strongly that we must reconsider the importance of warring with wisdom and revelation.
Several years ago my daughter, Hannah, received a dream from the Lord that was not only for Hannah and me, but also for the body of Christ in general. In her dream, we were dropping her off at a college or university. She had to get a new pair of shoes before entering the campus, which she picked up inside "Safeway" supermarket. Wondering why her new shoes were found in such an unusual place, she looked back and saw the name was no longer "Safeway" but "Other Things."
As we prayed about this dream, we felt the Lord say that a new season or phase was coming (new shoes). On this new journey, we could not go the "safe" and familiar way; He was about to do "other things." God was calling the body of Christ into a time of tremendous stretching and paradigm shifting to prepare the way for those who would pioneer new methods and activities. I also understood that we would have to keep coming back to the Lord in a very deliberate way so that He can show us what, how and when to do it.
Next in the dream, Hannah was given her room assignment: Room 601 on the "Gray Floor." I knew that the color gray is biblically symbolic of wisdom. With my love of word studies, I remembered that 601 is the Strong's Concordance number which corresponds to the Greek words for "revelation." I knew this was a reference to Ephesians 1:17-18, "may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints."
The Two in Tandem
This dream was extremely significant to me. The symbolic designations of Hannah's room and floor were intriguing. The broader area (the floor) was wisdom, yet it wasn't complete without revelation (the room). Neither would be adequate or function without the other. Unfortunately, most of the church focuses on one or the other—not a balance of the two—with the greater portion of Christ's body emphasizing the need for wisdom and knowledge. While I would never downplay the need for wisdom—in the dream it was the larger portion—it is also true that wisdom without revelation is very detrimental to our cause.
Wisdom is yesterday's revelation that has been processed and made into a way of thinking. It is a general understanding of God's ways, purposes and principles learned over time. Wisdom serves as our foundation.
Revelation is God's lifting of the veil created by sin from our hearts and allows us to receive fresh insight directly from Him (2 Cor. 4:3-6). Revelation is a spontaneous and specific understanding for current situations. It is applicable truth for today.
Revelation must be interpreted in the larger context of wisdom.
Likewise, we cannot build, war and accomplish God's desires based solely on the wisdom and knowledge we've acquired through the years. We also must seek revelation on how to apply that wisdom at the right time, and in the right way.
If you just operate based on wisdom, you become an old wineskin that cannot take in the new wine, the present Word of the Lord. Without revelation, we will merely maintain our ministries and not truly operate in kingdom advancement. We must continuously come to God for fresh truth so that our youth is renewed like the eagle (Ps. 103:5). This heart posture will keep us willing to break out of the mold and jump off new cliffs into deeper waters that He can release through us.
A Recipe for Hope
Effective intercession is absolutely linked to revelation. When praying about any situation, we must ask ourselves, "What Scripture applies to this?" Or "Holy Spirit, what is Your will and strategy in this matter?"Regardless of His chosen method for speaking to us, when we rise up and place God in His rightful place of authority, we will hear from Him and be the overcomers He desires us to be.
Using these principles, countless believers throughout history have prayed rebellious spouses and prodigal children to the foot of the Cross. Cycles of poverty and infirmity have been broken off of families. And through a word of knowledge or prophetic word shared, table servers have been launched into their destiny! By following the Holy Spirit's promptings, nameless, faceless men and women have been used of God to deliver and transform entire people groups and nations.
Do you find yourself in a seemingly hopeless situation? Have circumstances caused your heart to be gripped by fear? Are you in need of direction or strategy for resolving a particular issue?
God wants you to find your room of revelation. It is often a process that requires time and great perseverance, but don't give up. Draw near to Him; He'll guide you there. Despite how difficult your situation, the Holy Spirit is willing to disclose heaven's strategy and insight to you, enabling you to break free of oppression and adversity. Your destiny is to be a kingly warrior, overcoming in life through the kingdom authority of Jesus Christ. You can do it—if you live on the floor of wisdom, within the room of revelation!
