Ex-LGBT Will March on Washington This Weekend to Celebrate Freedom

JESSILYN LANCASTER  CHARISMA NEWS
Last May, a handful of people gathered near the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to share how Christ set them free from homosexuality.
On May 25, they'll meet again. This time, they'll have hundreds added to their ranks proclaiming that freedom is possible.
Charisma News spoke with several "Overcomers," that is, men and women who have left homosexuality, including Freedom March Founder Jeffrey McCall. You can listen to their stories by clicking on the podcasts at the end of the article.
Since 2018's inaugural march, the group led a rally in Los Angeles and has two planned in St. Paul and Orlando in addition to D.C.

As for D.C.'s second march, McCall shared how the movement has shifted in the last year and what he expects in a few weeks.
Charisma News: How are you feeling now that you're approaching the anniversary of the original Freedom March?
Jeffrey McCall: I am so excited. The first Freedom March actually landed on my birthday last year, so every year for my birthday, I get to celebrate the birthday of the Freedom March. It's just so exciting to see how much the Freedom March has grown. I can't believe just how close it has brought people from all over the country. It's created the "Freedom Family" with overcomers uniting from all over the country.
CN: How has the movement changed over the last year?
JM: The movement has grown so much. We are just continuing to share the testimonies of people who have left LGBTQ lifestyles to follow Jesus. We continue this movement, but with new people getting to share every year.
CN: What have you changed about your tactics in planning/executing the march?
JM: We have changed the march to have more testimonies together in between worship and opened up time at the end to minister to the people.
CN: Why hold Freedom Marches in multiple locations?
JM: It was actually M.J. Nixon's idea to travel and take the March from D.C. to other cities. We thought it was a great idea to pull people together for cities in their states to host a Freedom March and publicly proclaim Jesus in their own areas.
CN: What miracles are you seeing on the front lines?
JM: We are seeing miracles. People from all over this country are leaving LGBTQ lifestyles to follow Jesus Christ. When they see us, what we're doing and standing for, it shows them the power of God and that He wants us too.
CN: How are you battling principalities in cities like D.C., LA, St. Paul and Orlando?
JM: When we come united, it's like the power of the blood of Jesus goes before us, and principalities can't do anything. Whether we contend in cities with spiritual powers or not, we know that we have the victory, and we walk in with our heads high knowing Jesus chose us, and we walk out of that city knowing we have accomplished what God destined us to do in that city.
CN: What are your goals for this year's marches?
JM: My goals for this year's Freedom March is to grow and have more of the body of Christ to come out and support us! We want all brothers and sisters in Christ to come hear the stories and to unify with us in marching, proclaiming, 'Jesus is Lord'!
CN: What has the Holy Spirit told you about this upcoming march?
JM: The Holy Spirit has shown me these three marches this year—D.C., St. Paul and Orlando—will really put the Freedom March on the map. It will have really explosively grown this year and will begin the revival that will occur in the LGBTQ community!
CN: How has the Holy Spirit fulfilled previous dreams/visions about the marches?
JM: The Holy Spirit has truly fulfilled the dream of what I saw the march becoming. It's been awesome because I received a word that people would come alongside me and help me, and that word came true! Without the Freedom March board, it would not be what it has become today. It's been amazing teamwork!
CN: How can people get involved?
JM: People can get involved by helping us with donations and prayers. We have to raise a lot of money to put these things together. We actually have all the people we need to fulfill these marches; we just need financial support. We would also like people to keep us covered in prayers. Our website is info@freedomtomarch.com; we also have a "Freedom March" Facebook page.
CN: What else would you like to add?
JM: We are all so honored to share what Jesus has done in our lives. We all left the LGBTQ life to follow Jesus, and our surrender is producing great fruit for the kingdom of God. We are so excited that many more are coming out and experiencing the freedom from sexual bondage that only Jesus can give. He is a chain breaker, and He has paid for all to be free! So we hope everyone comes out and supports what we are doing!

Down in the Valley by Elaine Tavolacci

Down in the Valley by Elaine Tavolacci

By Elaine Tavolacci
Identity Network

The Holy Spirit showed me a picture of huge mountains surrounded by low valleys. There were many people down in the valley looking up wondering how they could ever ascend to the mountaintop. Some were in deep valleys, some were in valleys of water, some were in barren valleys and some were in narrow valleys. As I was pondering this, I realized that these valleys were actually formed by flowing water. The greater the deluge and the water pressure, the deeper the valley went.

The Lord says; I have been with you through the valley, and I am about to release you out of your valley experience. I have created you to be a mountain climber, and I will make your feet as hinds' feet that know how to walk on every type of terrain. I will give you the strength and endurance to climb. Your time in the valley has strengthened you to walk on high places, because you have learned how to walk in the low places. You will be identified by your tenacity as an overcomer and will be used to raise others from their valleys of darkness.

A New Perspective

In this valley you have learned how to be more than a conqueror and overcome all obstacles in your way that would prevent you from reaching your spiritual potential.  I will use you to raise others from the valley of discouragement and even out of the valley of the shadow of death. As you approach the mountaintop, you will have an extraordinary view and a clear insight into My nature as well as My plans. You will have a new perspective and see beyond the mountains. As you refuse to allow the situations in your life to keep you from being defeated. Your past valleys will not dictate your future victories says the Lord.

Psalms 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.
Isaiah 40:4-5 Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.  And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Micah 1:1-4 Look! The Lord is coming from His dwelling place; He comes down and treads on the heights of the earth.  The mountains melt beneath Him and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope.

Cindy Jacobs Addresses Fearful Prophecies Over America - JENNIFER LECLAIRE

Cindy JacobsCindy Jacobs (Facebook)

Prophetic Insight, from Charisma Media

With several months of the year of the whirlwind before us, how should we position ourselves amid the doom and gloom? That's a good question—and one I've been pondering more and more lately. In fact, I've discussed it with many prophets and prophetic people in the last couple of weeks—and I've prayed plenty.
Should we store up three years worth of food? Take all of our money out of the bank? Hide in a cave, praying for the best but believing the worst? Leave the country? What should be our response? I, for one, refuse to let a spirit of fear over take me, despite all the doom and gloom prophecies.
Cindy Jacobs, co-founder of Generals International, says first of all we are to obey the admonition from Scripture to not give in to fear. She is convinced the enemy wants to stir up panic and distress. But she is also convinced we have to stand firm, trusting God's faithfulness.
"I want to share with you what I am hearing prophetically at this moment. On a global level, God is changing the landscape of financial power. Some nations are going to find that their 'cash cows'—the commodities that have propped up their ideologies—are diminishing or being taken away. This will even begin to affect the terrorist organization, ISIS," Jacobs says.

"Is there going to be a total collapse such as we saw in 2008? If there is, I do not have a word about that. In past economic shakings, I have known in advance that a severe crisis would take place," Jacobs continues. "For instance, in January of 2008, the Lord spoke the word to me, 'There will be no more business as usual.' It could be that this time around the Lord has simply chosen to speak to other prophets and not me, and that is His prerogative."
Still, because so many voices—both prophetic and secular economic analysts—are pointing to extreme economic trouble this fall and even into 2016, Jacobs is praying hard through this season. I am praying with her—and so should you. She reports positive prayer answers after taking her prayer team to Wall Street to intercede for God to give us a course correction instead of a complete economic meltdown.
"As we move into the September/October months of the Jewish New Year and the appearance of the fourth blood moon, what do I know that I have heard? Historic changes will take place in the coming days that will be a prophetic catalyst for a great awakening. God is setting the stage for revival and harvest," Jacobs says. "I also have a strong admonition that we are in a time of hearts being tested—whether we will rely on our own strength and capabilities, rather than God's."
I stand in 100 percent total agreement. I'm hearing the similar things are so are the likes of Chuck Pierce, Bill Hamon, Barbara Yoder and Ryan LeStrange. I'll share more with you about the revelations in the days ahead, but for now, let's get to the question about storing food. Should we store up mass amounts of food?
I live in South Florida, where hurricane season has caused devastation so I do have food and water stored. But I do not have three years worth of dried food in my house. Even if I wanted to, I could not possibly store up that much food in my little beachfront condo. If the Lord has told you to do that, obey—but don't move out of fear. Jacobs says if we're hoarding out of fear it's not from the Lord.
"In truth, no matter what comes, we are called to be overcomers. There have been many dire prophecies, but they all are conditional upon a lack of repentant hearts. At the moment, there are a number of prayer projects and fasts being called by various ministries, and our Reformation Prayer Network stands with them as well," Jacobs says.
"God will be the same great God in the coming days as He is right now at this very moment. He is not about to forsake His children, no matter what transpires. He is vitally interested in our personhood, families, and futures. God is setting the stage to make some serious history, and I, for one, am not afraid of the future because He is my future—eternally!"
And I offer a hearty "amen!"

"Worried about September? Prophetic Encouragement for Fall 2015" - Cindy Jacobs

"Worried about September? Prophetic Encouragement for Fall 2015"

With several months of the year of the whirlwind still ahead, how do we need to position ourselves and respond? First of all, we are to obey the admonition from Scripture to not give into fear. The enemy wants to stir up panic and distress, but we have to stand firm, trusting God's faithfulness.

I want to share with you what I am hearing prophetically at this moment. On a global level, God is changing the landscape of financial power. Some nations are going to find that their "cash cows" – the commodities that have propped up their ideologies – are diminishing or being taken away. This will even begin to affect the terrorist organization, ISIS.

Is there going to be a total collapse such as we saw in 2008? If there is, I do not have a word about that. In past economic shakings, I have known in advance that a severe crisis would take place. For instance, in January of 2008, the Lord spoke the word to me, "There will be no more business as usual."

It could be that this time around the Lord has simply chosen to speak to other prophets and not me, and that is His prerogative.

That being said, because many voices – both prophetic and secular economic analysts – have indicated the possibility of extreme economic turbulence this fall, we are committed to praying through this season. In April of this year, we took prayer teams to Wall Street to intercede for God to give us a course correction rather than a complete economic meltdown. There have already been some positive answers to those prayers, so we will continue to intercede.

God is Setting the Stage for Revival and Harvest

As we move into the September/October months of the Jewish New Year and the appearance of the fourth blood moon, what do I know that I have heard?

Historic changes will take place in the coming days that will be a prophetic catalyst for a great awakening. God is setting the stage for revival and harvest. (Photo via Wikipedia)

I also have a strong admonition that we are in a time of hearts being tested – whether we will rely on our own strength and capabilities, rather than God's.

Should we store up food? One should always be crisis-prepared, but hoarding out of fear is never from the Lord. Isn't He still the God who sees when the sparrow falls to the ground and takes care of the lilies of the field?

In truth, no matter what comes, we are called to be overcomers. There have been many dire prophecies, but they all are conditional upon a lack of repentant hearts. At the moment, there are a number of prayer projects and fasts being called by various ministries, and our Reformation Prayer Network stands with them as well.

God will be the same great God in the coming days as He is right now at this very moment. He is not about to forsake His children, no matter what transpires. He is vitally interested in our personhood, families, and futures.

God is setting the stage to make some serious history, and I, for one, am not afraid of the future because He is my future – eternally!

Keep Shinin' by Paulette Reed

Keep Shinin'

The Battle
During a trip to Haiti in May 2014, I was hit with a horrible virus called Chickungunya. Let me tell you, it was not fun. Actually, the doctors think I contracted the mosquito-borne virus twice, making matters more complicated. Following the Chickungunya came vertigo, and then several weeks later shingles came knocking on my door. Needless to say, all of this was challenging and foreign to me because I don't do sick - period. But it is at times like these that we learn to practice what we preach and walk as overcomers in Christ Jesus.

As I received prayer for the maladies, some of the people praying sensed that curses had been spoken over me. Others broke off damaging words that the Lord showed them, because we all know that life or death is in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:2). And, of course, we needed to discern how the enemy might have been allowed access into my life, and then we prayed to close any doors (spiritually speaking) that may have been open. All of the discernment shared during the time of illness was greatly appreciated, and, as always, Jesus is the Healer.

The Light

In anticipation of the fulfillment of prophetic words declaring that one billion souls are coming into the Kingdom of God within the next ten years, every one of us must be strong and healthy. So, in preparing for the great harvest of souls that's coming, I strongly contended for my health during this season of testing. Today, I want to encourage anyone reading this who needs to win a victory to do the same - contend! It's interesting, but I found that what actually bothered me much more than being physically sick was that I felt spiritually sick too. I sensed that I had lost some of God's divine light. My eyes, which are the window to the soul, seemed dull and lifeless and it seemed that some of the Lord's light was MIA when it came to my countenance.

It was Smith Wigglesworth who once said, "Don't lose in the dark what you gained in the light." All believers have a conflict going on between the Kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. And we know that eventually darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples, as we read in Isaiah 60. Because of this, beloved, we must know how to contend for and maintain the fullness of the King of Glory if we go through dark times ourselves.

When we've done all we can, we must stand firm, knowing that in the end God's light always wins. It helps to remember that one little match can light up a huge arena, so we must push through the darkness, trusting God, knowing and believing that Jesus is our Bright Morning Star.

James 1:17 tells us that "every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow." By hiding this Word in my heart, I was well aware that the missing light was not God's issue, because in Him there is no shifting shadow. Rather, I knew the issue was mine, and I longed to shine for Jesus.

What Is the Light?

The Word of God tells us in James 5 that our effective prayers accomplish much. And wisdom tells us that if we are to grapple for something, then we must know what that something is. If there are things that have been stolen in our lives, how can we expect them to be restored if we don't know exactly what they are?

John says, "In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it" (John 1:4-5). We know the light that born-again believers have is in the Lord, and the Lord is in them, causing His light to shine. And we also know from this passage that the darkness can't lay hold of it. In other words, the darkness can't even understand or perceive the light that dwells within us. So we must speak the Word and God will bring light out of darkness, order out of chaos.

A good place to gain understanding of the light is at the beginning. In Genesis 1:3, God said,"Let there be light; and there was light." The Hebrew word for light here is owr (ore), which means illumination, bright and clear. The root word means "to be," to cause, or to make glorious; to set on fire, or to shine. God was calling down the presence of the Lord of Glory on the entire planet in the beginning, causing light to shine forth in the darkness!
Later on in the creation narrative, we see the light of the moon, sun, and the stars being created:

God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so. God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.

God placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day (Genesis 1:14-19).

The Hebrew word for light in this scripture is maowr, which refers to the sun and the moon. The first light God called forth was divine light, and the second type of light was solar light. Of course, we must have both (we couldn't physically survive without solar light), but we desire to be filled with God's divine light and not lose it in the dark.

Where is the Light?

If God called down the presence of the glory of the Lord, then what happened since that time? Why isn't it being manifested on the earth today? After all, if we are truly filled with the divine light of God, then wouldn't we be like human, electric bug zappers? This isn't just any light we're talking about here; it's the light of Almighty God! Think about it for a moment: if any darkness or any evil even gets close to the light of God, shouldn't it supernaturally disintegrate, kind of like getting too close to the sun?

Unfortunately, after the creation of light in Genesis, we had this problem in the garden called the fall of man, where Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, thus disobeying God. But now we can also experience redemption of all things since Jesus paid our debt on the cross, reversing the curse from the garden of Eden. I don't know about you, but that inspires me to contend for the light of God, the fullness of His presence, until we see it fully restored in our own lives, and in the earth as well.

Wouldn't you agree that the Kingdom of Heaven is a Kingdom of light, where everything shines and everything glistens? First John 1:5 tells us, "God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all." Therefore, if we're in Christ and Christ is in us, and there is no darkness at all in Him, then there shouldn't be any darkness at all in us.

The Lord is leading His Bride into a time where there will be no mixture of light and darkness. No spots or wrinkles. In fact, He's commanding us to shine like never before. We've been hearing Isaiah 60:1-3 for years now, telling us:

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

How will nations come to our light if they can't see it? It's our responsibility to contend for the light of God, and not lose in the darkness what we've gained in the light. And let us also remember that glory and light are always connected: "And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb"(Revelation 21:23).

Nothing Between God and Us

Looking back to Genesis 1 again, the Word says, "The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light" (Genesis 1:2-3).

What did God make the light out of? The light came out of darkness! He didn't even cast out the darkness; He just turned it into light. He simply declared, "Let there be light," and there light appeared. In all of God's wisdom and brilliance, He used the darkness for His glory. Alleluia!

Shouldn't that same principle apply to us today? Of course it should, because we're sons and daughters of the Most High God. We're His ambassadors, speaking His Word. He's the vine and we are the branches, so as we cling to the vine we stay plugged into the power source - God. We should be able to make use of the darkness surrounding us, allowing the glory of God's light to shine forth. The darkness in our lives, whether that's illness, bitterness, gossip or fill-in-the-blank, can become the foundations of our destinies (Psalm 102:25) if we allow God to build light out of darkness as He uses all things for good. This is why Jesus said we are to be a city set on a hill and a light on a lampstand, giving light for all to see.

While I was sick, I realized that the illness was trying to pull my focus off of Jesus onto myself, onto my flesh. It's difficult, but not impossible, to stay focused on the Word and on the promises of God when we're sick. And yes, of course, to everything there is a season, and sometimes we have to slow down and concentrate on resting and getting well. But the Lord has promised to take us from strength to strength and from glory to glory, so we have to find a way to allow His living Word to change us. For me, it was the Bible on CD, as well as praise and worship.

I enjoy how The Message translates 2 Corinthians 3:16-18, because it gives us insight into beholding God's light and letting it be reflected back out of us.

Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are-face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We're free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.

Do you get it? When we behold His face and stand in His light, any darkness or sin must come out of hiding. It can't stand in the light, for His light exposes all things. And the more we look at Him, the more we look like Him. Every time we're sick, grieved, or hurt, if we can learn to behold His face and bleed worship in the midst of our suffering, a divine exchange takes place.

The Lord is asking that there be nothing between us and Him. I recall a vision the Lord gave me of the bride's veil being lifted off her face, but just to the bottom of her eyes. I believe it is a good time to ask ourselves some tough questions, like what is causing darkness in our lives? What are some of the veils we wear that don't allow God's glory to shine in or shine out in fullness? Perhaps there are veils of sin, infirmities, wounds, rejection, bitterness, and poverty that must be taken care of so the glory of the Lord can fill the earth.

God Turns Darkness into Light

We have to understand that it is only the Lord who causes our light to shine as we yield to Him. In Psalm 18:28, the psalmist declares, "You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light." Not only does the Lord turn our darkness into light, but He also wants to fill us with His light.

He tells us in Ephesians 1:17-18, which is a prayer Paul prayed for the Ephesian believers:  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened (illuminated, shining), so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

Beloved, 2015 is going to be an amazing year as the Lord removes the veils and allows His light to be seen like never before. Even in the midst of all the darkness surrounding us, we must yield to God and gradually become brighter and more beautiful as He fills our lives and turns darkness into light.

Warring With Wisdom and Revelation - DUTCH SHEETS

Armor of God
Armor of God (Flickr/Nic McPhee)

Prophetic Insight, from Charisma Media
At this time of year, there is a heightened level of demonic activity. The hearts of Americans are also being gripped by fear as Ebola ravages lives and communities, Islamic terrorism escalates, and our national security is severely threatened by open borders. We are reminded, however, "...we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul" (Heb. 10:39).
God is calling his remnant warriors to rise above this deluge of wickedness and employ the weapons of our warfare, which have the power to destroy even the mightiest of strongholds (2 Cor. 10:4). We cannot be tactical in our approach, however. God is calling us to a higher level in our warfare. As the church seeks God's direction for moving forward in victory, I feel strongly that we must reconsider the importance of warring with wisdom and revelation.
Several years ago my daughter, Hannah, received a dream from the Lord that was not only for Hannah and me, but also for the body of Christ in general. In her dream, we were dropping her off at a college or university.  She had to get a new pair of shoes before entering the campus, which she picked up inside "Safeway" supermarket. Wondering why her new shoes were found in such an unusual place, she looked back and saw the name was no longer "Safeway" but "Other Things."
As we prayed about this dream, we felt the Lord say that a new season or phase was coming (new shoes). On this new journey, we could not go the "safe" and familiar way; He was about to do "other things." God was calling the body of Christ into a time of tremendous stretching and paradigm shifting to prepare the way for those who would pioneer new methods and activities. I also understood that we would have to keep coming back to the Lord in a very deliberate way so that He can show us what, how and when to do it.
Next in the dream, Hannah was given her room assignment: Room 601 on the "Gray Floor." I knew that the color gray is biblically symbolic of wisdom. With my love of word studies, I remembered that 601 is the Strong's Concordance number which corresponds to the Greek words for "revelation." I knew this was a reference to Ephesians 1:17-18, "may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints."

This dream was extremely significant to me. The symbolic designations of Hannah's room and floor were intriguing. The broader area (the floor) was wisdom, yet it wasn't complete without revelation (the room).  Neither would be adequate or function without the other. Unfortunately, most of the church focuses on one or the other—not a balance of the two—with the greater portion of Christ's body emphasizing the need for wisdom and knowledge. While I would never downplay the need for wisdom—in the dream it was the larger portion—it is also true that wisdom without revelation is very detrimental to our cause.
Wisdom is yesterday's revelation that has been processed and made into a way of thinking. It is a general understanding of God's ways, purposes and principles learned over time. Wisdom serves as our foundation.
Revelation is God's lifting of the veil created by sin from our hearts and allows us to receive fresh insight directly from Him (2 Cor. 4:3-6). Revelation is a spontaneous and specific understanding for current situations. It is applicable truth for today.
Revelation must be interpreted in the larger context of wisdom.
Likewise, we cannot build, war and accomplish God's desires based solely on the wisdom and knowledge we've acquired through the years. We also must seek revelation on how to apply that wisdom at the right time, and in the right way.
If you just operate based on wisdom, you become an old wineskin that cannot take in the new wine, the present Word of the Lord. Without revelation, we will merely maintain our ministries and not truly operate in kingdom advancement. We must continuously come to God for fresh truth so that our youth is renewed like the eagle (Ps. 103:5). This heart posture will keep us willing to break out of the mold and jump off new cliffs into deeper waters that He can release through us.
A Recipe for Hope
Effective intercession is absolutely linked to revelation. When praying about any situation, we must ask ourselves, "What Scripture applies to this?" Or "Holy Spirit, what is Your will and strategy in this matter?" Regardless of His chosen method for speaking to us, when we rise up and place God in His rightful place of authority, we will hear from Him and be the overcomers He desires us to be.
Using these principles, countless believers throughout history have prayed rebellious spouses and prodigal children to the foot of the Cross. Cycles of poverty and infirmity have been broken off of families. And through a word of knowledge or prophetic word shared, table servers have been launched into their destiny! By following the Holy Spirit's promptings, nameless, faceless men and women have been used of God to deliver and transform entire people groups and nations.
Do you find yourself in a seemingly hopeless situation? Have circumstances caused your heart to be gripped by fear? Are you in need of direction or strategy for resolving a particular issue?
God wants you to find your room of revelation. It is often a process that requires time and great perseverance, but don't give up. Draw near to Him; He'll guide you there. Despite how difficult your situation, the Holy Spirit is willing to disclose heaven's strategy and insight to you, enabling you to break free of oppression and adversity. Your destiny is to be a kingly warrior, overcoming in life through the kingdom authority of Jesus Christ. You can do it—if you live on the floor of wisdom, within the room of revelation!

"Warn My People to Avoid This Dangerous, Raging Cloud!" Bobby Conner

"Warn My People to Avoid
This Dangerous, Raging Cloud!"
Bobby Conner, Bullard, TX
The Elijah List

In a prophetic dream I was shown a tiny cloud on the horizon. The Lord Jesus stated in an urgent tone, "Warn My people to avoid this dangerous, raging cloud!"

I was totally shocked at the alarm in His voice. I questioned, "Lord, how can this be such a dangerous cloud when it is so small and appears harmless?" He answered, "This cloud has the potential to devastate and steal every spiritual blessing from My people."

I inquired, "Lord, what is this cloud?" He quickly replied, "The cloud of doubt!" What had appeared so insignificant now became of utmost importance. When I asked the Lord how we can avoid and defeat this cloud of doubt, He offered the insights which follow. (Photo via Pixabay)

Renounce Doubt!

This cloud of doubt is most effective when allowed to penetrate our mind. If allowed, it will erode and erase all the promises of God in our lives (see Isaiah 26:3-4). A vivid example of this is Israel's response to what they saw with their natural eyes in the Promised Land. The people allowed their natural vision to overrule what God had spoken.

So they brought the Israelites an evil report of the land which they had scouted out, saying, "The land through which we went to spy it out is a land that devours its inhabitants. And all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature.

"There we saw the Nephilim [or giants], the sons of Anak, who come from the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight." Numbers 13:32-33

What the Israelite spies saw with their natural eyes quickly erased what God had promised –what they were asked to see through the eyes of faith. God had told them, "Take the land! It is yours!" Doubt entered in, however, and they returned, defeated by their own choices and actions of unbelief. As the Israelites perceived themselves, so did the inhabitants of the land perceive them. (Photo via Pixabay)

Remember, as a person thinks within his heart, so is he. The Israelites perceived themselves weak – and thus their foe saw them as weak also. Doubt arose.

Whenever doubt and unbelief cloud our vision, we can lose our inheritance. Doubt kept the people of God from obtaining their inheritance and promise for more than 40 years!

God Himself had declared and decreed that the land was theirs.

Not only was the land their possession, but it was a land flowing with milk and honey. The land had great provision in store for them. When they saw the giants, however, every word of God's precious promises fell to the wayside. They chose to base their reality on what they saw rather than basing their reality on the promises of God. Once they saw the giants – and once they submitted themselves to fear – every word of God was forgotten.

How can we avoid this same disaster of doubt? One method is to quickly and forcefully, without hesitation, rebuke and renounce any and all thoughts that arise to oppose the Word of God.

For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Overcome All Limitations

In this very familiar passage of Scripture we discover some secrets to overcoming the cloud of doubt.
And in the fourth watch [between 3:00 – 6:00 a.m.] of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, "It is a ghost!" And they screamed out with fright. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)

But instantly He spoke to them, saying, "Take courage! I Am! Stop being afraid!" And Peter answered Him, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." He said, "Come!" So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus.

But when he perceived and felt the strong wind, he was frightened, and as he began to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me [from death]!" Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and caught and held him, saying to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat knelt and worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God!" Matthew 14:25-33, Amplified Bible

What an awesome exploit! Peter was a mere man, walking on the water! One point to ponder is this: If we fully follow the commands of Christ, we can overcome all limitations, even the laws of gravity.

Peter was standing and walking on the word of the Son of God, who asked him to "Come!" What instigated Peter's sinking under the waves? He turned his eyes away from Jesus toward the natural situation and circumstances.

Peter began to focus on the winds and the waves, and opened the door to doubt – doubt that erased from Peter's heart the very fact that he was walking on water, making his way to Christ, standing on the Word of God. But Peter's advancement was suddenly halted. He was no longer walking at and upon the command of Christ – and was in need of rescue.

What lessons do we learn from this powerful experience between Peter and Jesus? Do not let your surroundings and the challenging events you are facing keep you from holding on to the command of Christ! Keep your focus on Christ, not the adversity occurring about you. As we keep our heart and mind focused upon Christ Jesus, our heart and mind are filled with abiding peace (see Isaiah 26:3-4).

Doubt is a dark, evil womb that gives birth to unbelief and fear – and both will rob you of the blessing of God. The fearful and unbelieving are cast into Hell (see Revelation 21:8).

Doubt and Our Prayer Life

Doubt and fear have devastating effects on our prayer life:
"Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [for being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]." (James 1:6-8). (Photo via Pixabay)

Christ reveals that doubt will hinder answered prayer. As the disciples stand shocked at the dried, dead fig tree, Christ states:
"And Jesus, replying, said to them, 'Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!" and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].'" (Mark 11:22-24)

Jesus reminds us that if our prayers are to be powerful and effective, they must be spoken in steadfast faith. Notice the phrase, "...and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him."

Only believe! All things are possible – only believe!

Antidote For Doubt

What exactly is an antidote? I appreciate this definition: A substance that counteracts poison. What is the antidote for doubt? The best antidote for the dark cloud of doubt is the radiant light of God's Word. Faith is the force with which we fight against doubt – and faith comes by hearing the Word. (Photo by Jennifer Page "My Firm Foundation" via elijahshopper.com)

The supernatural power of God will drive away doubt. Note that John the Baptist in prison was immersed in the dark cloud of doubt. Doubt silenced this great voice for God! But also notice what Jesus communicates to him: "Declare to John that the blind see, the deaf hear, the dumb speak, the dead are raised. And the poor have the Gospel message presented to them" (see Matthew 11:1-5).

Paul and Silas in prison drove back the dark cloud of doubt with shouts of praise and prayers of adoration.

Praise and thanksgiving, with an attitude of gratitude, can transform any situation!

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Psalm 118:6

What time I am afraid, I will have confidence in and put my trust and reliance in You. Psalm 56:3

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, turn from doubt as quickly as possible – don't let the enemy gain one foothold in your mind or heart. Meditate daily on Psalm 27, planting God's precious promises deep within your heart. In prayer and meditation, declare these words as true over your life and the lives of your loved ones. These precious promises of God will prepare you for adverse circumstances!

Psalm 27

[A Psalm] of David

1 The Lord is my Light and my Salvation – whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3 Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident.

4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.

5 For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. (Photo via Pixabay)

6 And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me!

8 You have said, "Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]." My heart says to You, "Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word]."

9 Hide not Your face from me; turn not Your servant away in anger, You Who have been my help! Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation!

10 Although my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].

11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me].

12 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me; they breathe out cruelty and violence.

13 [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!

14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.
