How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? - Richard and Carolyn Hyde from Heart of G-d Ministries

Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,

"No, Rabbi Nachman and Yeshua do not have the same spirit." And so went the conversation with a beautiful but very confused Israeli.  She'd had a vision of Yeshua, but having grown up in an Orthodox Jewish home, she was trying to relate the Messiah to a "messiah-like" figure that was familiar to her.  But the truth must be told - Yeshua came as 100% man but He is also 100% divine. "It's a great mystery", I explained, "but after all, He is the L-rd.  So is anything too difficult for Him?"
She agreed to ask, not just me, but ask Yeshua her questions and she even went with us to Kehilat Ha Carmel on Shabbat.  She was so blessed there, that at one point she exclaimed, "This is way better than a Rainbow (new age) Festival!"  Please pray for continued revelation for this precious soul and the many other Israeli seekers who are hungry for the Truth!

We had another recent answer to the Luke 10:2b prayer at an outdoor concert in Tsfat.  A young man sat down next to Richard and began sharing how he'd finished his rabbinic studies and then he looked straight at us and said he was investigating the claims of Yeshua.  So I said it's not an accident that you shared this with us because I happen to be a Messianic Jew.  Suddenly from behind a lady exclaimed, "Oh you're one of those? Can you tell me more?"  So while I spoke with her, Richard spoke with the rabbi.  What a double joy!
Romans 10:14-15  How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?  How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard?  And how will they hear without a preacher?  How will they preach unless they are sent?  As it's written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good tidings!"
Our daughter Shayna married Yishai Pacquin on June 22 in Tsfat and we are so delighted to welcome Yishai into our family!  Please pray for them and Shayna's four children to become a house of peace in Tsfat, the city on a hill...
Prodigal banner
We always carry our prodigal daughters in our hearts and daily ask the L-rd to send out workers into His harvest fields. Recently while visiting one of our daughters in Tel Aviv, a young woman approached our daughter with joy and they shared good memories from Messianic youth camp. She's a believer in Yeshua and I was delighted to see such a quick  answer to prayer when they agreed to meet.  Praise G-d for sending another worker into His harvest field who can touch the life of one of our prodigals!
Dinner appointment
As our waiter was clearing our table at the hotel where we met a sweet group of believers, I began to share with him how this tour group came not only to tour but to serve the Jewish people by restoring houses for lone soldiers and new immigrants at the ARC. He kept looking at my friends with wonder as I explained that these Christians were doing this because of their love for Yeshua, Jesus, and His people, Israel.  At the end he was speechless and near tears as he sensed the deep love of Christians for his people.  So thank you, all of you wonderful Christians who come to bless our people Israel.  You are touching hearts so beautifully!
Update on recent persecution against our family:
Praise G-d that Ariel's wife, Shayla received a one year extension from the MOI, Ministry of Interior.  Of course, she should have received her citizenship and benefits a few years ago.  Unless she receives her citizenship we will have to fight this battle again next year.  The MOI is also illegally discriminating against Avi's wife Liora, who should've already received health insurance and a work visa, but she's still on a tourist visa after two years of living in Jerusalem!  Please pray for Avi and Liora, who are expecting their first child this October.

We write L-rd and G-d in this way because it's a Jewish custom that Carolyn grew up with and it's done only out of reverence and honor for the name of the L-rd.  Thanks for understanding.

Faith Leaders Warn Supreme Court: 'Don't Cross That Line'

Faith Leaders Warn SCOTUS: 'Don't Cross That Line'

A group of prominent Christian leaders are issuing a warning to the Supreme Court. If it legalizes gay marriage, they will not obey.

"We respectfully warn the Supreme Court not to cross that line," read a document titled, "Pledge in Solidarity to Defend Marriage." "We stand united together in defense of marriage. Make no mistake about our resolve."

The pledge goes on to state, "While there are many things we can endure, redefining marriage is so fundamental to the natural order and the common good that this is the line we must draw and one we cannot and will not cross."

The signees include Franklin Graham, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa.

The pledge was co-drafted by Keith Fournier, a Catholic deacon, and Mat Staver, the founder of Liberty Counsel.

They're urging pastors across the nation to sign the pledge.
