Pinterest Suspends Pro-Life Organization, Places It on Porn 'Blocklist' - DAILY SIGNAL CHARISMA NEWS

Pinterest Suspends Pro-Life Organization, Places It on Porn 'Blocklist'

DAILY SIGNAL  CHARISMA NEWS
Pinterest has suspended the account of pro-life group Live Action, saying it violates the social media company's policies on "misinformation."
Alison Centofante, director of external affairs for Live Action, tweeted about the incident last week as the organization appealed Pinterest's decision.
"LiveAction.org" is the only pro-life website included on Pinterest's list of banned websites, Centofante said in a tweet.
The nonprofit educates on, reports on and investigates the abortion industry, according to its webpage, and seeks to inspire others in the pro-life movement.

Project Veritas, an undercover investigative journalism nonprofit, received and published information from Pinterest employee Eric Cochran, revealing the social media platform added Live Action's website to a list of sites blocked for pornographic content.
The whistleblower has since lost his job at Pinterest and was interviewed Wednesday on Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson Tonight about his decision to speak out.
"I saw a big tech company saying quietly behind closed doors that they believe Live Action shouldn't have a platform to speak. ... I want them to have to say this explicitly," Cochran told host Tucker Carlson.
Lila Rose, founder of Live Action, told Twitter followers that although the organization initially was put on Pinterest's pornography blocklist, Pinterest later changed its story, calling Live Action's content "inaccurate."
Pinterest is a social media website that allows users to share or "pin" photos, recipes, videos and other content they collect to their account. When Pinterest bans a website, users are blocked from creating or sharing any content that links back to that page.
"What exactly is Pinterest attempting to block?" Centofante said in a tweet. "Inspirational messages to pregnant mothers, ultrasound images showing the science of prenatal development, and images saying women deserve better than abortion industry leader Planned Parenthood."
Centofante later tweeted an update that Pinterest had "doubled down" in response to Live Action's appeal.
Rose posted Pinterest's decision to permanently suspend Live Action's account due to its "harmful misinformation," including "medical information and conspiracies that turn individuals and facilities into targets for harassment and violence."
Centofante pointed out that Planned Parenthood was not included on Pinterest's list of banned sites, although the organization has profited from selling baby body parts, has been accused of mistreating pregnant women and has clinics that have violated health codes with unsanitary equipment and unsafe practices.
Live Action included a thread on Twitter about "actually dangerous" content Pinterest allows, including do-it-yourself, at-home abortions.
"Pinterest has targeted Live Action, I believe, because our message is so effective at educating millions about the humanity of the preborn child and the injustice of abortion," Rose said in a press release, adding:
Pinterest says that their mission is to "help empower people to discover things that they love," but despite the fact that millions of people love babies and the pro-life cause, they are secretly censoring our life-affirming messages. Pinterest users deserve to know the truth and our messages deserve to be treated fairly.
Pro-life activists rallied outside Pinterest headquarters in San Francisco in response to what they called censorship.
Pinterest did not respond to The Daily Signal's multiple requests for comment.

Prophecies About America's Judgment Coming to Pass in Front of Our Eyes - MICHAEL SNYDER CHARISMA NEWS

(Photo by Ryan Graybill on Unsplash)
Prophecies About America's Judgment Coming to Pass in Front of Our Eyes
MICHAEL SNYDER  CHARISMA NEWS
Prophecies about America's judgment are coming to pass right in front of our eyes. What is it going to take before people start heeding the warnings? Between Nov. 21, 2016 and Dec. 7, 2016, a sister in Christ named Sonja Craighead was given a series of extremely detailed visions about the future of the United States. After the visions ended, Sonja composed a 17-page letter about these visions and sent them to us in the mail. You can read the entire 17-page letter right here.
My wife and I read the letter with great interest in late 2016, but life started to get extremely busy, and I soon put the letter out of my mind.
But then a few weeks ago, Sonja contacted us again and pointed out that some of the things that she saw in her visions have started to come to pass.
For example, in her letter she said that the Lord showed her this:
Much livestock will lay dead due to extremes in our weather. I saw cattle in N. and S. Dakota, and Nebraska lying dead in pastures from violent storms.
There are three main points that I want you to take note of from these two sentences.
1. She saw cattle lying dead.
2. This was to happen in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.
3. Violent storms were to be the cause of these deaths.
Of course, this is precisely what we witnessed back in March of this year. In fact, the number of calves lost in the state of Nebraska was absolutely unprecedented. The following is an excerpt from my article entitled '"As Many as a Million Calves Lost In Nebraska" – Beef Prices in the U.S. To Escalate Dramatically in the Coming Months':
According to Agriculture Secretary Sunny Purdue, there "may be as many as a million calves lost in Nebraska" due to the catastrophic flooding that has hit the state. This is not a rumor, this is not an exaggeration, and this is not based on any sort of speculation. This number comes to us directly from the top agriculture official in the entire country, and it means that the economic toll from the recent floods is far greater than most of us had anticipated. You can watch Purdue make this quote on Fox Business right here, and it is important to remember that this number is just for one state. It is hard to imagine what the final numbers will look like when the livestock losses for all of the states affected by the flooding are tallied up. This is already the worst agricultural disaster in modern American history, and the National Weather Service is telling us that there will be more catastrophic flooding throughout the middle portion of the nation for the next two months.
Another thing that Sonja was shown was that crops in the Midwest would be "ruined by flooding":
I saw in the mid-west states of Iowa, Ohio and parts of Missouri, corn standing in mud and water, being ruined by flooding, with rot and mold on the corn ears.
Once again, this is precisely what has happened.
In fact, a USA Today article about all of the recent flood damage specifically mentioned the states of Iowa and Ohio:
Rain and flooding that began in March have kept farmers from planting a major portion of their crops during the normal mid-April to mid-May season in states like Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and Michigan. As of Sunday, 39% of soybean acres have been planted in the 18 largest producing states, compared with an average 79% over the past five years, Agriculture Department figures show. Sixty-seven percent of corn acres are in the ground, vs. an average 96%. Such delays are unprecedented, Newton says.
Are you starting to get the picture?
The things that she was shown are really starting to happen.
Sonja was also shown that there would be widespread recalls of foods and that there would be confusion on what foods are safe to eat:
This is something that is happening right now. In fact, here are four examples from within the past week:
Considering the track record of her letter so far, don't you think you should read it and find out what else she was shown?
According to Sonja, what we have experienced so far is nothing compared to what is coming. In fact, in her letter, she stated that the viciousness and violence she witnessed in her visions "is hard for me to even put into words":
The entire letter has been posted on Scribd. God really is speaking to His people, and I encourage you to share this with everyone that you can.

Are You Inviting Demonic Spirits Into Your Home? - IRIS DELGADO CHARISMA NEWS

(Getty Images)
IRIS DELGADO  CHARISMA NEWS
Is there something in your life and home inviting demonic spirits? Today we allow so many ungodly things to enter our homes. Our lives are being affected by everything that is unholy, opening doors to rebellion, disobedience, promiscuity and the realm of defiant evil spirits.
Unfortunately it's not only what we allow into our homes, but it's also what adults are modeling in today's Christian home. Many allow violent movies and indecent entertainment, telling small children to cover their eyes until the violent or indecent episode is over. I know couples who constantly fight over this issue. The husband wants to see the violent and explicit videos, and the wife wants no part of it.

The effects of tolerating and inviting ungodly stuff into your home may at first seem subtle, as both adults and children start demonstrating a little anger, a little pouting, a little nagging, a little impatience and annoyance, a little rebellion, a little disrespect, and a little lying and testing of the boundaries. But as time goes by, it goes from a little to a lot of episodes of self-will and emotional displays. Where children are involved, many of today's parents are too busy and harried to deal with the attention and accountability necessary to enforce rules or keep a hand on the wheel. Tough love seems to be a thing of the past in many families of this generation.
One of the greatest outcomes of all this permissiveness is the disintegration of the Christian home. Every day I receive e-mails from spouses who read my books Satan, You Can't Have My Marriage and Satan, You Can't Have My Children, and the number one complaint from wives is that their husbands are having affairs or messing with pornography. The main complaint from men is that their wives are controlling and manipulative and won't submit to even the most basic areas of respect and honor to which the Word of God so wisely instructs a wife to adhere.
Both of these areas, pornography and manipulation, are controlled by evil spirits. Spiritual cleansing and deliverance are absolutely necessary to become free from these demonic spirits that break up homes and churches. Believe it or not, too many Christians are involved in pornography, and many couples manipulate each other unaware of the lurking evil spirits behind their actions. Too many religious women refuse to submit to their husbands, bossing them around and correcting everything they do and say. This too is a root of manipulation and control.

The Perfect Response to Miley Cyrus' 'Abortion Is Healthcare' Photo - BILLY HALLOWELL CHARISMA NEWS

The Perfect Response to Miley Cyrus' 'Abortion Is Healthcare' Photo
BILLY HALLOWELL  CHARISMA NEWS June 12, 2019
A pro-life group offered the perfect response on Friday to singer Miley Cyrus' controversial social media post that featured the former "Hannah Montana" star licking a cake adorned with the message: "Abortion is healthcare."
Cyrus' post went viral and sparked debate last Tuesday after it was shared on her social media platforms, but pro-life group Save the Storks decided to offer a twist on the image and message.
The organization released its own photo. In the image, a baby is seen sitting next to a cake that reads, "Celebrate life."

"Women's rights begin in the womb!" the caption reads. "Very special collab with moms who've chosen life. Like if you believe in healthcare for ALL — including the preborn."
Save the Storks used the chaos and furor over Cyrus' initial photo and message to make an important point about their work—and to illustrate some truths about abortion.
"Miley Cyrus posted a social media meme and message that blatantly steers women toward abortion," Joe Baker, founder of Save the Storks, said in a statement. "We at Save the Storks want to shine a light on her insensitive post and obvious disregard for the truth about abortion."
Save the Storks is an innovative organization that partners with pregnancy resource centers to offer medical vehicles known as Stork Buses. These buses, which have exam tables, restrooms, counseling services and sonograms inside, have saved 6,000 babies thus far.
Find out more about Save the Storks here, and be sure to watch the trailer for a powerful film called "7 Reasons" that shows what causes some people to change their minds about abortion.

Shawn Bolz: What You Need to Know About 'Breakthrough' - CHARISMA NEWS

Shawn Bolz: What You Need to Know About 'Breakthrough'

4:00PM 6/5/2019
Shawn Bolz says it's important to remember that breakthrough is more than just a common Christian truism or a "fad word." In fact, in a recent video, he says that breakthrough is more than just God's deliverance or gift to us—God Himself is breakthrough.
"One of God's names in the Bible is breakthrough," Bolz says. "Like, this is not just a fad word. This is actually part of who God is. ... You find God in several places as being referred to as breakthrough, and not only 'breakthrough from,' but 'breakthrough into.' A lot of times we apply this phrase for what we need from God as opposed to what He wants to give to us. God is way more concerned with breakthrough than you are. It's one of the ways that He identifies Himself to the body of Christ, so we can actually access Him differently and actually know Him this way."
Because of that, Bolz says, "Your breakthrough actually equals breakthrough for everybody around you."

Synagogue and Church Join Hands to Combat Hate in North Carolina - RABBI DANIEL GREYBER CHARISMA NEWS

Synagogue and Church Join Hands to Combat Hate in North Carolina

RABBI DANIEL GREYBER  CHARISMA NEWS
Last year, a few weeks before the congregation of Beth El Synagogue moved into Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church here, the Rev. Katie Crowe spoke at Shabbat services at Beth El.
She began by naming a concern at the heart of Christian-Jewish relations. "It is not lost on me that it was a Presbyterian who helped with your capital campaign," she said, "a Presbyterian who is one of your general contractors and Presbyterians who are hosting you during the transition.
"I think it is therefore worthy of note that we are not trying to make you Presbyterian!" she said, to laughter. "This is not some elaborate proselytizing initiative."
But as she went on, Katie unexpectedly and poignantly addressed a difficult history.

"We are extending hospitality because we know that we stand in a tradition that has, at times, gotten it horribly wrong in relation to the Jewish community," she said. "But hate and division, persecution, prejudice, violence and injustice are antithetical to the person and teachings of Jesus.
"If we can enact any gesture, however small it may be, to stand as a counterpoint to the shameful narrative that people who share our faith have helped forge, and in cases still forge today, this is the work that we want to be about and that we must be about."
Many of us there that morning were moved to tears.
Beth El Synagogue and Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church were brought together for the past 15 months by a mundane need: Beth El was undergoing a renovation, and we needed a place to hold Shabbat services. Trinity Avenue enthusiastically offered to host us, thanks in part to a friendship that had sprung up between the two of us, both relatively young clergy, both new to Durham.
But what unfolded during Beth El's stay was beyond what either could have hoped. In an era when bigotry has caused synagogues, mosques and churches to be attacked and made to feel less than the sanctuaries they ought to be, we declare that a different narrative is being written by people of faith who refuse to let hatred and darkness have the final word in 21st-century America.
Being together created opportunities for us to act together. Our social action committees packed lunches for needy Durham schoolchildren, prepared workbooks for a local jobs ministry, sorted books for a local literacy project and co-hosted a fall festival with proceeds that included a gift by the church to a local mosque in honor of Beth El Synagogue.
Trinity Avenue Presbyterian became the first church we know of to host a Yiddish Song Festival, "What's Not to Like?" raising thousands of dollars to benefit local hunger relief. In February we joined a local black church for a lunch and discussion about the history and causes of housing segregation and racial inequities in Durham.
Being together also helped us learn about each other. For most of the year, Shabbat services were held in a social hall devoid of religious symbols, but for our bat and bar mitzvah services, we needed the larger main sanctuary. We moved our portable ark to the front of the room. A large cross hanging from the ceiling in front of the altar could not be covered, so when celebrations were held there—including my own son's bar mitzvah—we were given the gift of being challenged to see the cross anew, as representing a chapter in Christian-Jewish relations different than before.
Some moments were fun and funny: Beth El's love of sipping some scotch at our communal lunch after services led the church to reclaim the church's Scottish traditions and temporarily suspend the no-alcohol policy on campus. Other moments were more poignant, as we shared sadness over synagogue shootings in Pittsburgh and San Diego.
As the year progressed, Beth El's rabbi emeritus shared Judaism's many stories about the Prophet Elijah and our unique way of reading Scripture—less as a problem to be solved and more as a mystery to be explored and enjoyed. On the second night of Passover—the night before Easter—Beth El families hosted Trinity Avenue members in our homes for Passover seders.
Jews have lots of uncommon rituals, new to Trinity's congregants, and Jews don't always understand Christian practices either. The many "why" questions asked in both directions and accidental offenses over the course of the year were received and answered with patience and good humor.
On a Sunday morning in May, Beth El held its annual meeting in the church social hall while the Presbyterians worshipped downstairs in their sanctuary. Our communities came together at noon as the Torah scrolls, the Jewish community's most sacred objects, were removed from their temporary ark in the church for the final time as we prepared to march them home.
Katie shared with us these words, "My sense of what was possible for the human family under the banner of God's love was expanded forever. We said at the outset of this adventure that one of the catechisms of the Presbyterian Church states that the chief end of humankind is to glorify and enjoy God forever. Looking back at this special season that we have shared together, I know that I speak for all of Trinity Avenue Presbyterian when I say that we have found ourselves more fully glorifying and enjoying God because of you."
We proudly marched through the streets of Durham with our Christian brothers and sisters back to our newly renovated home.
Our procession sadly, but necessarily, included some off-duty police officers hired for protection, but the march reminded us again that a different narrative is possible in today's America, one of peace, pluralism, tolerance—and hospitality.
Just days before Beth El moved into the church, Katie called with a question: A church member had purchased a mezuzah, the doorpost ornament described in Deuteronomy 6:9, "write (God's words) upon the doorposts of your home and upon your gates."
Not wanting to misappropriate a Jewish symbol, Katie asked if it would be an appropriate gesture of welcome to affix it to the Fellowship Hall. I was moved by the gesture but, as a conservative rabbi, wanted to ground my response within the Jewish legal tradition.
In researching this question, I realized that it had no precedent in Jewish legal history. Rabbis had never been asked if a mezuzah could be affixed on a room of a church that was welcoming its Jewish neighbors to pray there for a year. We affixed the mezuzahthat Sunday and, as we did, we recited a blessing of thanksgiving that we live in a time when such a question could be asked.
It is through this narrative that God is glorified, by building community across difference and, in doing so, building a better future for us all.

Why Illinois' Abortion Bill Is Much Worse Than New York's - LIBERTY COUNSEL CHARISMA NEWS

Why Illinois' Abortion Bill Is Much Worse Than New York's

LIBERTY COUNSEL  CHARISMA NEWS
The Illinois Senate voted 34-20 last Friday to pass a bill that is even more extreme than New York's infanticide law. The "Reproductive Health Act" repeals the state's ban on partial-birth abortion, allowing abortions through nine months, and requires insurance companies to provide coverage.
Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker, who has campaigned to make Illinois the most progressive state in the country for abortion, hugged and congratulated supporters of the bill on the Senate floor after the vote. Pritzker has vowed to sign it into law.
SB 25 strips all rights from unborn children, changes the definition of viability, and legalizes abortions through all nine months of pregnancy, up to the moment of birth, for any reason. The bill eliminates the Abortion Performance Refusal Act so that medical professionals will be forced to recommend, perform or assist in abortion procedures. This legislation also compels insurance plans to provide "coverage for abortion care," and all licensing requirements for abortion facilities would be removed.
SB 25 repeals the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act and "removes any penalty for performing late-term abortions, allows nurses to perform medication abortions, and eliminates licensing and health and safety inspections of abortion clinics."

It also eliminates waiting periods and spousal and parental consent. Minors would be able to obtain abortions without parental notice and parents would be forced to pay for it, even if they objected and did not consent to the abortion.
The bill's sponsor, Democratic Rep. Kelly Cassidy, said, "This is treating abortion care like any other health care."
Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said, "These are horrific days when Illinois lawmakers celebrate eliminating all protections for unborn children, allowing infanticide, removing conscience protection laws for health care workers, and allowing minors to freely obtain abortions without parental notification. This has nothing to do with healthcare. This a crime against humanity. Yet tragically, Governor Pritzker brags about it."
