We Need You For Such a Time as This ✡ "Deliverance Will Come to the Jews" - ISRAEL365

For if you are silent at this time, then relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish;
and who knows if you have come to the royal palace
for such a time as this?

Today's Israel Inspiration

In today’s verse, Mordechai inspires Esther to courageously stand up in defense of her people, despite her natural inclinations, by assuring her that the God of Israel will surely deliver His people, one way or another. In our times, we are given opportunities to stand and support the nation of Israel. Though we firmly believe that God will ultimately save the Jewish people, we must insist on being involved to share in the blessings. The Jewish holiday of Purim, which takes place this Sunday, March 12th, is the perfect opportunity to start by rescuing the needy children of Israel, even if for just a day. On Monday, the day when Jerusalem celebrates the holiday, Israel365 will be bringing a festive celebration to a Jerusalem orphanage where 200 girls will enjoy great food and great music, ensuring only the sweetest memories for many years to come!

What Have You Done for Israel For Such a Time as This?

With rising anti-Semitism and anti-Israel hatred, the Bible's lesson of Esther is more important than ever!  Are you a modern day Esther? If so, send us a short video stating what you did for Israel "at such a time as this"!

How Esther and Mordechai's Tombs Defy Iran's Vow to Destroy Israel

Most would assume that the burial site commemorating the Jewish heroes Queen Esther and Mordechai would be hidden away or in danger, but ironically, quite the opposite is true!

Why is God's Name Missing From the Book of Esther?

While God's name is not spelled out in the Book of Esther, his presence is nonetheless felt. Behind the dramatic events of the Purim story, God's hand is apparent. While many events in the Book of Esther seem to be coincidental, we must remember that nothing in life is a coincidence, and that God is  pulling all of the strings. In our modern lives, we do not always merit to see open miracles such as the ones recorded in the Bible. It is our daily duty to always look deeper and find that although His presence may not be obvious, it is God who is running the world and sustaining all of humanity.

Last year on Purim, Rabbi Tuly and other members from Israel365 went to a Jerusalem hospital to distribute food packages, called "mishloach manot" in Hebrew, and holiday joy to ill children forced to spend the day in the hospital. Just look at those smiles!

“Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

I'm Christian and I unashamedly say my God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I have had a love for and of course a connection with Israel and the Jewish people for as long as I can remember and I thank God for it and I pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and the return of it's Messiah who will bring that long sought for peace. I thank you for the opportunity to be a blessing to Israel and it's people in this most humbling way. --Michael

It Is Less Than A Week To Go To Purim... - Israel Today

It Is Less Than A Week To Go To Purim...

Tuesday, March 07, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
In just five days it will be Purim! The children dress up, prepare gift baskets for friends and relatives and, above all, fulfill the commandment to give to the poor and needy.
We would also like to invite you, dear friends of Israel, to participate in this wonderful festival. In the next few days, we will be distributing the Purim parcels that you have so generously donated to children in hospitals. Be there for these unfortunate kids!
Shared happiness is double happiness! This is the last opportunity for you to participate!

Fulfill the Biblical Commandments of Purim ✡ "The Jews Had Gladness" - ISRAEL365

The Jews had gladness and joy, a feast and a holiday.

Today's Israel Inspiration

Have you ever had a "bad" experience only to later discover that it was all for the best? Esther was the unwilling wife of an anti-Semitic king who lived a secret life as a Jew. Yet her predicament places her in the perfect position to rise up and save the Jewish people. On Purim, we raise ourselves up and bring joy to others with the beloved customs of feasting and sending gifts to the needy. Today in Israel, 1 out of 3 children is living in poverty. Help make the holiday a happy and joyous time for all of the Children of Israel!
