Sanctifying the Name of God ✡ "That I May Be Sanctified In The Midst Of B’nei Yisrael" - Israel365

You shall not profane My holy name,
that I may be sanctified in the midst of
B’nei Yisrael—I Hashem who sanctify you.

Leviticus 22:23 outlines the imperative to sanctify the name of God. According to the Talmud, the best way to sanctify God's name is by ensuring that one's behavior and speech reflects positively upon God. One must act in accordance with His commandments and treat others with kindness, consideration, and honesty. In Hebrew, the term for sanctifying the name of God is kiddush Hashem (קידוש השם) . This is a commonly used phrase used to describe a praiseworthy act performed by Jews that brings honor and respect to God. Wonder Woman Speaks Hebrew?

Israeli ‘Wonder Woman’ Gal Gadot, has become a proud spokesperson for the Holy Land by speaking in Hebrew during her recent stint as host of the popular American show Saturday Night Live.

The Year 1948

Currently, we are living in the Hebrew year 5778 of creation. Did you know that Abraham was born in the year 1948 of creation? Abraham was the first Jew! Abraham was also the first Jew to immigrate to the Land of Israel! Thousands of years later, the modern State of Israel was established in the gregorian year 1948! In this year, Jews from around the world flocked to the land in the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. Is the year 1948 a coincidence here? I think not!

Re -News from Israel: Thank you for bringing Israel into my home (Cape Town - South Africa). As Hashem knows my heart's desire is to one day visit the Holy land. We always pray for the peace of Jerusalem in our church and teach our children to do the same as God commands us to do. Shalom, Petula Sharon (South Africa)
