The Healing of Two Nations - WORLD MISSIONS ALLIANCE CHARISMA NEWS

Republic of Georgia
We believe that every Christian should go on a mission trip. Why? Because there is something miraculous and life-changing that happens when one person shares with another person what God has done in their life. It's that moment when you look into another person's eyes and experience a deep spiritual connection as they hear the words of God leave your lips and feel them penetrate their heart the same way they did yours when God spoke them to you.
If you want to experience a true move of God, see your faith reach another level and make an eternal difference in the lives of the people who have suffered much, you have a unique opportunity to fulfill this calling. March 12-20, 2019, you are invited on a strategic mission to the country that is still largely unknown to the world yet has been named by Forbes Magazine among the top must-visit travel destinations. Republic of Georgia is the country of lush vineyards and orchards, snow-capped Caucasus mountains and the palm tree-lined coast of the Black Sea. It is also the country that adopted Christianity in the 4th century. One can see ancient churches and fortes dotting the mountain ridges. In 2008, Russia invaded Republic of Georgia, and the short five-day war caused destruction, left many people homeless, and caused many children to become orphans. Today Georgia is rebuilding itself as a travel destination, but its people, though they know of Jesus, are in desperate need to know Him. Your faith, your personal testimony and your unique ministry calling can give hope, new meaning and the truth to the people who have suffered so much.
Not only will you introduce the Georgian people to the personal relationship with Christ, but you will also have an opportunity to reach the Kurdish minorities who are still largely unreached today and practice a pagan religion worshipping Satan. Very few Bibles are available in the various Kurdish dialects but we have access to the Kurdish Bibles, and you will have a chance to hand a Bible to someone who has never held one before.
One of the important outreaches will be the medical clinic for the Kurdish minorities. Due to extreme poverty, many of them do not have access to medical care. Whether you are a medical professional or an intercessor, your help can be invaluable in this mission.
Armenia
The second part of the mission will take place across the border in Armenia March 20-28.
Armenia is a beautiful little nation that has suffered greatly for its faith at the hands of Muslim and pagan invaders. The famous mountain of Armenia, Mount Ararat, according to Genesis 8:4, is known as the place of the landing of Noah's Ark. Not surprisingly, Armenia was one of the first countries to adopt Christianity as the national religion. This very sacred symbol of Armenia was taken over by Turkey, and many Armenian people died from the Turkish genocide in the early 1900s. Shortly after Armenia was overtaken by the Communist regime, the people were forbidden to believe in God and things stayed that way for 70 years. You have the opportunity to take the message of hope and light to the Armenian people.
There is no other feeling like it—giving someone the light that brought you out of darkness. You can go just to one of these to nations or both—we just want you to experience a journey that will not only radically change the lives of others but will also deeply impact yours!

God Is Opening a Door for the Gospel in This Spiritually Dark, Hurting Nation - WORLD MISSIONS ALLIANCE CHARISMA NEWS

God Is Opening a Door for the Gospel in This Spiritually Dark, Hurting Nation

WORLD MISSIONS ALLIANCE  CHARISMA NEWS
Thailand is a nation where only 1 percent of the population is Christian! You have an opportunity to change that statistic.
Thailand is a breathtakingly beautiful kingdom in Asia and is a land of sharp contrasts. On the one hand, you are greeted with the warmest smiles and hospitality and surrounded by the tropical beauty,. On the other hand, you witness deep and dark issues like poverty, human trafficking, drug trafficking and prostitution that have plagued this nation for years and can be only resolved by the light of Christ. If these issues are close to your heart and if God has called you to take the Great Commission to Asia, you can be a part of this important mission Nov. 30-Dec. 10, 2018!
World Missions Alliance has a unique open door in Thailand to work in the famous Golden Triangle, in the mountains of Northern Thailand, with the hill tribe, the most oppressed and vulnerable people group in the nation.
A 2013 article in the Bangkok Post said that "nearly a million hill peoples and forest dwellers are still treated as outsiders—criminals even, since most live in protected forests. Viewed as national security threats, hundreds of thousands of them are refused citizenship although many are natives to the land."
Here are some recent statistics about the hill tribe people and Thailand:
  • The average hill tribe person lives on less than $1 U.S. a day—this is 12 times less than what an average Thai citizen lives on.
  • Many Thai schools do not accept hill tribe children, and in cases where they do, the children are given little support with the costs of schooling and materials.
  • 1 of every 3 sex workers in Chiang Mai (Thailand's second biggest city) comes from a hill tribe family.
We have an opportunity to reach out to these people in the northernmost city of Thailand, Chiang Rai, and work with local churches, orphanages and the drug rehabilitation center.
We need preachers, teachers, counselors and those who feel called to women's ministry to be able to minister love, forgiveness and hope.
Doctors, nurses and other medical professionals are needed for the medical clinics to be held for the hill people who can't afford medical care otherwise. Medical clinics are an excellent opportunity not only to meet physical needs but also introduce hill people to the healing power of Christ.
Chiang Rai today is known as a lovely and quiet destination to explore the beautiful nature, authentic Thai foods and the lifestyle of the native tribes. But in the 1970s, it was part of the Golden Triangle, the drug trade and the home base for drug lords.
We need strong prayer warriors and intercessors on the team to pray over the area and bring down generational strongholds in the spiritual realm.
