Jewish Rabbi: Another Forgotten Victim of Palestinian Terror

After every Palestinian terrorist attack, the news media report the names of those killed and the number of those wounded. The names of the injured are almost never mentioned. In many cases, they are maimed for life, but nobody outside their immediate families will ever know their names or remember what happened to them.
The one tragic exception to this Rule of the Forgotten Victims is if someone who is injured in an attack later dies from his wounds. And so the name of Rabbi Haim (Howie) Rothman briefly entered the consciousness of world Jewry this week, when he passed away from the devastating injuries he suffered in the November 2014 Har Nof synagogue massacre.
Rabbi Rothman left the comforts of Toronto in 1985, to make his home in Jerusalem, where he and his wife raised 10 children and became beloved members of the Har Nof community. On Nov. 18, 2014, the Palestinian terrorists Uday Abu Jamal and Ghassan Muhammad Abu Jamal burst into a Har Nof synagogue, swinging axes and firing automatic weapons.
Some of the worshippers may have known the Jamals. The two cousins worked in one of the neighborhood's grocery stores. Some people probably see the fact that Palestinian Arabs take jobs in Jewish businesses as a sign of peaceful coexistence. Not in this case.
The Jamals murdered four rabbis (three of them American citizens) and an Israeli policemen. They also wounded seven others. Rabbi Rothman was one of those seven anonymous "others." He lingered in a deep coma for 11 months.
A fitting way to honor Rabbi Rothman and the other Har Nof victims would be to take some concrete action against those who sponsored the attack. In Gaza, Hani Thawabta, one of the leaders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), announced that his group claimed "full responsibility for the execution of this heroic operation." Another PFLP leader, Jamil Mizher, told reporters, "We bless the operation and the two young men who carried it out, but we have not received any confirmation that it was planned by the PFLP, even though it was consistent with the history of the PFLP." Yet another PFLP official referred to the Udays as "PFLP comrades."
The PFLP is the second-largest faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority, is also chairman of the PLO. The PFLP has never been expelled from the PLO, despite the fact that it continues to carry out periodic terrorist attacks against Israel. On June 29, 2015, for example, the PFLP claimed responsibility for a drive-by attack on Israeli motorists near the community of Shvut Rachel. One of the Israelis was killed, four others were wounded.
The Obama administration should demand that Abbas expel the PFLP from the PLO. If he refuses, he should be declared partially responsible for the Har Nof attack, and he should be put on the "U.S. Watch List," which prohibits terrorists from entering America.
The Palestinian Authority has a policy of paying salaries to the families of Palestinian terrorists who are killed in action. Meaning that the families of the Jamals, the Har Nof killers, are now being subsidized by the PA. And since the U.S. gives the PA $500 million annually, it means that the killers' families are in effect being paid by American taxpayers. The U.S. should deduct those amounts from the PA's aid package, and send it to the families of Rabbi Rothman and the other victims.
American Jewish organizations need to press for steps such as these as quickly as possible—before Haim Rothman's name, like so many others before him, is forgotten.
Stephen M. Flatow, an attorney in New Jersey, is the father of Alisa Flatow, who was murdered in a Palestinian terrorist attack in 1995. He writes this from a tense Jerusalem.

Amid Prayer Movement, This Nation Elects Christian Comedian as New President

Guatemalan voters have chosen a comedian with studies in theology as their new president.
Jimmy Morales was initially considered an outsider but surprised the nation by leading the first round of elections, easily qualifying for the runoff.
Morales ran on a platform of conservative values, opposing gay marriage, abortion, and the legalization of marijuana.
"According to my belief, my ideology, I would have to veto such laws," the president-elect told CBN News. "I think in Guatemala we will not have this because of conservative thinking. In case Congress approves such laws, my position would be against them."
Morales presented himself as a champion against corruption, with the slogan "neither corrupt nor a thief."
The election followed months of political crisis, including the resignation of outgoing President Otto Perez Molina and his arrest on fraud and corruption charges. With a jailed president, the country teetered on the verge of social and political chaos.
The Guatemalan church played an important role through the crisis, holding prayer meetings like one held every Saturday morning at the Central Park.
The "Guatemala Prays" movement mobilized more than 700 churches for prayer vigils and fasting. For 40 days they prayed for a peaceful solution to the crisis.
"God put His hand in Guatemala, it's a miracle what happened," prayer participant Marco Antonio Ruiz said. "We came together as Church and cried out with one voice. The effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much. God heard the voice of all those who joined us in prayer."
"The role of the Christian Church is to be the bride of the Lamb, a role of service and devotion," Morales told CBN News. "Also to evangelize, train and improve the talents of people. So, it's a fairly large role."
The church's active participation was also reflected in a debate held days before the election. The event, organized by the country's main evangelical organizations, was broadcast on national television and by satellite on the Christian network Enlace.
Both Christians and non-believers agree that the peaceful solution to Guatemala's crisis and the entire electoral process offers a lesson to other nations.
Christians in this election have affirmed that Guatemala begins its road to recovery as a direct answer to prayer.

Secrets of the Jubilee ✡ "Upon A Very High Mountain" - JERUSALEM365

In the visions of God He brought me into the land of Israel, and set me down upon a very high mountain, whereon was as it were the frame of a city on the south.

EZEKIEL (40:2)

Jerusalem Inspiration

The final section of Ezekiel's prophecy describes the rebuilding of the Temple, its operation, and the re-division of the Land of Israel among the people. These chapters contain the prophet's hopes for his people, and represent the closing of a circle that began in chapter one of the Book of Ezekiel. Decades earlier, Ezekiel envisioned the Divine Presence leaving the Land of Israel and the Temple before its destruction.

Now, perched on the high mountain, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Ezekiel can foresee the return of the People of Israel to the Land of Israel, and the holiness of God returning to His city. According to the sages, this vision comes to Ezekiel at the beginning of the Jubilee year. Rabbi David Kimchi emphasizes how appropriate the timing of this vision is, since during the Jubilee year, all are freed and returned to their ancestral homes. In their groundbreaking new book on Jewish phenomena, "Israel FIRST!", educational online resource Root Source explores the meaning and relevance of the Jubilee year to Israel today.

WATCH: New CBS Medical Drama Celebrates Saving Baby in the Womb - CHARISMA NEWS

WATCH: New CBS Medical Drama Celebrates Saving Baby in the Womb

"Life is measured here in split seconds; hesitate and people die."
From the opening minutes of CBS' new medical drama Code Black, the characters and narrative reveal this could be a bright spot among the 20 new broadcast TV shows debuting this fall.
Thrusting viewers into a real-world emergency room, it dramatizes the great lengths medical professionals go to save a single life—including one in the womb.
Created through a collaboration of former physician Ryan McGarry and writer/producer Michael Seitzman, Code Black takes place in a fast-paced trauma center in Los Angeles. In the ER, it's known as "code black" when the volume of patients exceeds resources; then even first-day medical residents deal directly with patients' life-and-death traumas.
Life-affirming moments shine through in the chaotic, intense pilot episode. Medical residents conflict over the best way to treat a nine-month pregnant woman, who appears to have flu symptoms.
After the young mother is released from the hospital, one doctor-in-training realizes it could be carbon monoxide poisoning. She ends up in an ambulance with the unconscious pregnant patient.
Stuck in LA traffic, the resident calls in and learns the ER is facing a "code black" status; she'll have to deliver the baby by C-Section in the ambulance. "You've done an OB rotation, you've witnessed plenty of these," her supervising physician says on the call.
With guidance from the experienced doctors by phone, who continue their lifesaving efforts on other patients near death, ultimately the sound of the baby's first cry brings a hush in the ER—then, slowly, smiles on every face.
"I've got her!" announces the medical resident on speakerphone. "She's so beautiful." This climactic scene was such a powerful statement for life, bringing me to tears.
Men and women on the front lines rescuing citizens from accidents, medical trauma, fires and crime see death daily. They encounter the worst of everything life can bring, as we see in the characters played by veteran actors Luis Guzmán (TrafficThe Count of Monte Cristo) and Marcia Gay Harden (Mona Lisa SmileThe Hoax).
Yet when a new life is born as a result of their efforts, it brings them peace and joy. It breathes renewed life into what they do. It is not an inconvenience for them. Life is precious and they know it.
Many of the best stories in film and television, from family-friendly movies to edgierscience-fiction sagas, celebrate new life and uphold the value of every human being—bringing hope to those caught up in the storyline. Most of all, I picture God smiling and celebrating this new creation of His.
Code Black points to the noble purpose of medical science: to save and preserve lives. Though sometimes overlooked by a politicized health care industry—where many defend a woman's right to end her baby's life at any stage in the womb—this medical drama plot is quite revealing.
What it reveals is that deep inside every human is the appreciation of new life, no matter how inconvenient. God, the author of life, designed a man and woman together to bring forth offspring in His image. Most of us instinctively recognize this miracle.
But many are not willing to admit it because of out-of-control political correctness. They come up with right-sounding arguments to explain away the evil being perpetrated by Planned Parenthood. Try as they might to ignore this miracle of life in the womb, they cannot deny the truth in all honesty.
More and more people today, particularly Christian leaders, are finding it harder to deny the immorality and corruption of the abortion industry. The exception seems to be elected officials who rely on Planned Parenthood funds in order to be re-elected.
Every year, the pro-life movement gains more ground as science confirms what we see revealed in Scripture: that life begins at conception. Truly, humans made in the image of God are the apple of His eye.
Our nation faces an emergency. Now the pro-life movement needs to a call a "code black" status—all hands on deck during this critical moment. In a culture hungry for truth, the value of every precious life must come front and center.
The pilot episode of Code Black is currently available to watch free of charge. Rated TV-14 for realistic medical trauma situations and some language.

Perry Stone Issues Urgent Prophetic Warning to the Church

Join us on our podcast each weekday for an interesting story, well told, from Charisma News. Listen at charismapodcastnetwork.com.

Perry Stone is sounding the alarm of government persecution against churches, particularly about homosexuality.
"MAJOR ALERT: I have just been informed of a major plan by the extreme left, that has the support over 100 House members and numerous Senators, that if passed would make it a crime for churches and ministers to publically (sic) say the gay lifestyle is a sin, or not allow them to use your church for their own meetings," Perry Stone Ministries posted on Facebook.
Indeed, a handful of states do have such laws on the books.
Police arrested Kentucky Chaplain David Wells for telling inmates homosexuality was a sin, according to Fox News.
A city ordinance in Idaho demanded pastors perform same-sex ceremonies or go to jail.
Former Atlanta fire chief Kelvin Cochran lost his job for calling homosexuality an "impure" lifestyle.
While a spokesperson for Perry Stone Ministries could not be reached regarding the specific bill to which the post referred, it is well-documented many consider the battle for gay rights to be the new civil rights frontier.
Furthermore, Democrats actively seek to expand the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with the Equality Act to include LGBT people.
According to the Washington Postthe proposal would grant gay people the same protections African-Americans and other minorities have from discrimination in employment, credit, the housing market, jury selection and other public accommodations.
Perry Stone Ministries' post faults the spirit of Jezebel for the onslaught of sexual perversion.
"There is serious government persecution coming to all who stand for truth, and when the 'left' becomes violent, as did the men of Sodom against Lot, threatening to rape him for his rebuke of their iniquity, God will change the game and the United States hedge will be removed and catastrophic natural disasters will be unleased (sic)," the post reads.

Revelation Knowledge by Dr. Barbie L. Breathitt - Identity Network

Revelation Knowledge by Dr. Barbie L. Breathitt

- Identity Network

The dreams and visions God births in us bring revelation, illumination, and inspiration. Revelation is the disclosure of divine knowledge and truth that has always been present but not yet realized. The Holy Spirit instantly reveals spiritual knowledge about God and His ways through direct or indirect revelation to a person's spirit.

Revelation is not learned through the intellect (gnosis assumption or scientific, methodical knowledge); it is imparted into the depths of the spirit's (epignosis) intuition, which brings an exact, truthful knowledge. To know God is to experience God. The Spirit of God cannot be known by the intellect; for the intellect can only know His attributes. Revelation comes from the Greek word apokalypsis. It means the unveiling of mysteries, which have been hidden or concealed, that are revealed or discovered by removing a covering.

Revelation comes to bring an accelerated transformation. Revelation knowledge births change in the soul; awakening an unmediated spiritual awareness, that forwards one's movements on a higher plane, to grant a quickening of their faith's actions in the Spirit. The spirit realm moves at a much greater speed than the natural realm to allow creative miracles to occur. The mind cannot comprehend the manifestation of the revelation knowledge of the glory of the Lord that is covering the earth (Habakkuk 2:14) but the spirit can.

Spiritual Intimacy

Knowledge is the Hebrew word yada that is used in (Genesis 4:1). Yada depicted Adam and Eve's lying down together in spiritual intimacy, skillfully showing, revealing their most intimate needs and secret desires without inhibition or reservation, completely trusting that they would find mutual fulfillment while gazing into each other's eyes, and by this observation, learning how to please, respect, comprehend, perceive, and know each other completely; sexually, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Adam and Eve had to teach one another. They answered their mate's questions, and declared when pleasure was reached. They became familiar with each other's bodies. They discovered and understood what made them feel loved. When the light of their two souls touched through intercourse, they ignited, merged and intermingled to become one.

Yada means to learn to know, discover through observation, to discriminate, discern or distinguish between, as one becomes thoroughly acquainted physically, emotionally, and spiritually with the one they love. Revelation knowledge comes when we are intimately acquainted with God's Holy Spirit and His ways, knowing what is pleasing to Him and learning how to bring Him pleasure.

  • Gnosis2, Strong's NT:1108 from NT:1097; knowing (the act), i.e. (by implication) knowledge: KJV - knowledge, science.

  • Epignosis3, Strong's NT:1922), acknowledge a full, or thorough knowledge, discernment, recognition.

  • Apokalypsis4, the Greek meaning "an unveiling" or "a disclosure." (from Bible Knowledge Commentary/Old Testament Copyright © 1983, 2000 Cook Communications Ministries; Bible Knowledge Commentary/New Testament Copyright © 1983, 2000 Cook Communications Ministries. All rights reserved.)

  • Yada5: Strong's Genesis 4:1, OT: 3045(Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright © 1994, 2003, 2006 Biblesoft, Inc. and International Bible Translators, Inc.)

Revealed knowledge becomes ours experientially when we acknowledge God's presence, surrender to Him by following and obeying His will. Faith and the practice of spiritual knowledge are required to manifest the glory of God. The meat of revelation is for mature people who have experienced and practiced moving in the glory to discern the difference between good and evil (Hebrews 5:14). Without revelation knowledge we will never progress to the next dimension of supernatural glory. The glory realm requires a humble spirit that is motivated by total dependence upon the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual and Intellectual Enlightenment

Illumination is derived from both spiritual and intellectual enlightenment. Symbolically the bee represents illumination, industry, diligence, and expertise, harmony, wisdom, and sociability. Bees are generous givers and share their lives with others in the community thus they can also represent the power of resurrection. The Old Testament prophetess Deborah's name meant bee or prophetic discourse. Spiritual instruction and guidance bring prosperity to the citizens of eternity when the lamp or the eyes of the body are full of God's light. Spiritual illumination will draw both the light of God's favor and the favor of man upon a person.

Inspiration is the ability to mobilize others by communicating the discovered truths of God so that others can understand and champion the cause for God. To inspire means to inhale, or breathe in the Spirit to stimulate the mind, to create or to activate the emotions to a higher level of understanding. To spiritually inspire is to guide, declare, to reveal the future through the anointed Word of the Lord. affect or arouse by the divine influence of the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit of the Lord calls to the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us, to impart His revelation knowledge, illumination, and inspiration in the depths of our spirits ability to apprehend. The Holy Spirit skillfully leads us into the glory; the deep, secret, mysterious things of God.

Psalm 42:7-8 reads: Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. By day the LORD directs His love, at night His song is with me - a prayer to the God of my life (NIV).
