A Word of Wisdom for Those Receiving Prophetic Dreams in This Hour - JAMES GOLL CHARISMA NEWS

A Word of Wisdom for Those Receiving Prophetic Dreams in This Hour

JAMES GOLL  CHARISMA NEWS
Dreams are known as "the sleep language," and since the time of creation God has brought divine revelation to mortal men and women while they are sleeping. Scripture even calls a prophet a "dreamer of dreams" (see Deut. 13:1; Num. 12:6). Many Christians hold the mistaken impression that prophetic dream encounters are reserved for a small, elite group of especially sensitive or gifted people. But this simply is not the case.
Dreams are a specific portion of the prophetic ministry; they are not limited only to the prophetically gifted. Joel 2:28 says, "And it will be that, afterwards, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions" (Joel 2:28). This Scripture was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost and continues to be fulfilled in our own day. It is time for the church to return to a biblical understanding of dreams as an avenue of discerning God's voice.
For God [does reveal His will; He] speaks not only once, but more than once, even though men do not regard it [including you, Job]. [One may hear God's voice] in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men while slumbering upon the bed, then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction [terrifying them with warnings] (Job 33:14-16, AMPC).
I can testify personally that God has communicated and ministered to me in amazing ways through dreams. One of my delights is to review my dream logs and remember how God has spoken and blessed me with impartation over the years. As we go through life day by day, these dreams often seem minor compared to God's more dramatic visitations. But when we take time to look back, we can see how faithful God has been and how much He has given to us. Dreams can be a tremendous, awesome revelation of how much He loves us and cares about even the most microscopic parts of our lives.

Dreams With a Purpose
Dreams are often extremely practical. For example, the Lord has used dreams to heal my emotions and give power to my personal ministry. Through dreams, the Holy Spirit enhanced my ability to open my eyes of faith and see myself as God does. Also through dreams is where I first began to carry the "burden of the Lord" of prophetic intercession in compassion for others. Many people in our modern Western culture treat dreams as foolish or even demonic. But they don't know what they are missing!
The entire realm of prophecy, prophetic dreams and visions is openly supernatural and, for that reason alone, is too quickly set aside in our age driven by logic and knowledge.
Prophetic dreams are much like pregnancy and childbirth. When God speaks to us through a dream—or in one of His many other revelatory ways—it is like carrying a baby. In the natural, an expectant mother has no idea what her baby will look like until she sees the final product after birth. Although aware that a new life is growing inside her belly, she does not know if the child will have blonde, black, brown or red hair or will be intellectual, athletic or mechanically minded. What she does know for certain is that God has deposited new life in her, and as a mother she loves that life. Everything inside her is committed to guarding and caring for the new life that God has entrusted to her.
The same is true of prophetic dreams. When God gives us dreams, we have no idea what the end result will be. We must patiently and carefully carry the dream that God has conceived in us until He brings it to birth. When the fullness of time comes, we also receive a full understanding of the dream's meaning. What we do need to know is how to respond when a dream comes.
For me, this sort of "hands-off" surrender attitude has been key to the entire realm of spiritual dreams and revelation. Who better to interpret and fulfill our dream than the One who gave it to us? Drawing closer to God should be our heart's cry for any dream experience or supernatural encounter. If the experience doesn't bring us closer to Jesus, help us understand the work of the Cross, and become more firmly rooted in God's love, then we need to seriously question its validity and source.
Log Your Dreams
Because prophetic dreams can be so significant, keeping careful account of them is important. For this reason, I strongly encourage recording your dreams in a journal. Through our studies and our own experience—and sharing with others who are well-versed in dreams, visions and the prophetic realm—I have learned that as you seek God, He will often create a unique dream language reserved for just you and Him.
We do not serve a "cookie-cutter" God. He longs for a unique and individual relationship with each of us, so He often speaks to us using symbols or memories—either from our individual past or private thoughts, which are known only to Him and us. Over a period of time, He will teach each of us our spiritual alphabet, and logging dreams is one of these teaching tools.
A Word of Wisdom
As much as I appreciate dream encounters, I want to share a caution from Ecclesiastes 5:7 (NASB) "For in many dreams and in many words there is emptiness." Although God gives us dreams for specific purposes and reasons, He also has given us a more sure word of prophecy in the Bible (see 2 Pet. 1:10). Life consists of much more than dreams. God warns us not to base our lives or decisions on dreams alone.
Here is the main point: Dreams and visions are wonderful, but our life is more than just dreams and visions. Our life is in our Master, Jesus Christ. Someone may reveal true and accurate information and still be a deceptive tool of the enemy to seduce us and draw us in by fascination, and lead us away from Christ.
We can't live in dreams, as wonderful as they may appear to be. If all you are doing is studying your dreams and seeking more of them, you are missing God's perfect will for your life. Seek the Giver of dreams first, and everything else in your life—including your spiritual dreams— will fall into its proper place and order. Oh, how I love the revelatory and supernatural ways of God! But I am not addicted to them as my sole means of supply, encouragement and life.
I thank the Lord that I have His sure Word of prophecy—the Bible—that I can turn to every day. Yes, I am so grateful for the dreams, but I do not seek for gifts; I seek the giver and Creator! When I get Him, I get everything! Spend a few moments reflecting on the significance of dreams in your life, and then lift up this prayer to the Lord.
Prayer of Desire and Wisdom
Father, I need and desire these revelatory ways in my life. I desire both the spirit of wisdom and revelation of You, Lord Jesus. Counsel me in the night with prophetic dreams. Raise up Your Josephs and Daniels for our day. Pour out Your prophetic presence on this generation and fulfill the promises of Joel for the honor of Your great name. Amen.

COMMENTARY: Europe's Migrant Crisis & the Jews - Charles Gardner ISRAEL TODAY

COMMENTARY: Europe's Migrant Crisis & the Jews

Sunday, January 06, 2019 |  Charles Gardner  ISRAEL TODAY
Among the incidents reported over a Christmas period during which I was largely preoccupied with the death of my dear mum were the illegal immigrant crisis and the potential disaster of a rogue drone that brought Gatwick Airport to a standstill.
And there is a poignant connection between the two that has an important message for Britain in the new year.
Jews trying to escape the gas chambers were once prevented by the British from entering their own fatherland, a nation that has now come to our rescue by providing the technology used to ground the unmanned flying machine.
Before, during and immediately after World War II, British soldiers were ordered to deal with ‘illegal immigrants’ to Israel, and the grossly insensitive way in which they handled it still reverberates in the hearts of those who experienced it and their descendants.
The greatest injustice of that tardy episode in our history was the fact that Britain had been charged by the League of Nations to prepare the Holy Land for re-settlement by Jews who had been scattered and persecuted among the nations for almost 2,000 years.
It was thus an obvious refuge for Jews desperately trying to flee Nazi-occupied Europe. But in order to appease the region’s Arab population, who used violence and intimidation to discourage Jewish repatriation, we disgracefully limited the quota of immigrants.
Although we had recognised, finally, that you couldn’t negotiate with fanatical dictators like Hitler, we failed to apply the same lesson to our dealings with the Arabs of the Middle East.
The story of one particular family, as told by Aliza Ramati in Where are you my child?(published by Zaccmedia), is especially harrowing and helps to bring the current migrant crisis into perspective. Theirs was a case of jumping from the frying pan into the fire – escaping from the Fuhrer’s claws only to be crunched by the jaws of the British lion.
After fleeing Czechoslovakia in November 1940, they eventually joined 1,800 refugees boarding a rickety old ship designed to carry only 300 people.
Because they didn’t have the necessary papers, the crew were reluctant to press on with any haste for fear of incurring the wrath of the authorities themselves, so the desperate passengers kept bribing them with jewellery and other gifts. But the journey was perilous, with much sickness and death. And when, after some months, they finally caught sight of Haifa, they were surrounded by the British navy who treated them like dogs before re-routing them to detention camps in the faraway Indian Ocean island of Mauritius as well as in Atlit, near Haifa.
Some were transferred to a bigger ship, the SS Patria, which was subsequently blown up and sunk with the loss of 250 lives.
The Haganah, an underground Jewish movement fighting the British, planted a bomb on the vessel with the apparent intention of only disabling it in order to prevent the deportation of its passengers, but the plan went horribly wrong.
As a result, the family at the centre of this true story got separated in the chaos following the explosion – husband from wife, and wife from baby, feared drowned. Another described swimming to safety through a sea of blood. But a Viennese man had saved the child, who was reunited with his mother some time later.
The family somehow survived their ordeals to realise their dream of settling in Israel, though it took a circuitous route via Mauritius where, with the help of the Czech consulate in South Africa, the storyteller’s grandfather enlisted as a Czech soldier fighting the Germans and was eventually posted to Israel, where he deserted in order to join the Haganah.
His wife, however, was treated with compassion by one British officer, who paid for it with imprisonment and who wrote: “I joined the British army with the intention of fighting the Nazis… To my sorrow, I was not sent to the battlefield, as I had hoped. Instead, I was sent here to assist in taking care of the Jewish illegal immigrants… I’m a soldier, and I must obey orders, but I am doing everything I can in order not to lose my humanity…”
The book is the product of a school ‘Roots’ project undertaken by 13-year-old Roni, who successfully traced the tortuous and heroic path of her ancestors with the aid of cassette recordings of her great-grandparents.
Family tree searches have become quite fashionable – and that’s a good thing as knowledge of our roots helps us appreciate the positive influences of past generations.
In the same way, it is vitally important and hugely enriching for Christians to explore the Judaic roots of their faith, which adds clarity and insight to the great truths of Scripture which, of course, came to us through the Jewish people and patriarchs.
A better understanding of our roots might well have prevented much of the persecution suffered by Jews at the hands of ‘Christian’ Europe.
Western civilization itself is based on the framework of biblical teaching perfectly reflected in Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, and if we cut ourselves off from its influence, we will lose the sap that gives us life, light, wisdom and compassion – and will wither and die as a tree does when cut off from its roots (see Romans 11.17f).
The future of our civilization depends on remaining connected to these roots. Those who oppose Israel need to understand that we cannot do without them. Even the technology that brought down the drone at Gatwick was developed in Israel, whose expertise in dealing with terror is proving beneficial to all.
As for the Iranian and other migrants risking their lives trying to cross the channel, there is a need for compassion, mixed with wisdom.
Above all, we must not repeat the shameful response of the British to the Jews trying to escape the gas chambers.
Jesus famously said: “Do to others what you would have them do to you” – the so-called ‘golden rule’ – “for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7.12)

A Revival in Hollywood and Cyber Protection; Africa, the Koreas and the Nations Throughout the World - Bill Lackie

Bill Lackie
Jan. 4, 2018

A Revival in Hollywood and Cyber Protection
Hollywood will prepare to bow their knee to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Hearts and bodies will be healed and loneliness will be dispelled. This revival will be known as a replica of the Azusa Street Revival.
Discoveries in computer warfare will produce the protection and prevention of stealing intellectual secrets. Inventive discoveries are happening which are causing the United States to be more Cyber secure in the area of business. This will prevent the stealing of intellectual secrets, private finances, bank transactions, and personal information which has previously resulted in identity theft.
Africa, the Koreas and the Nations Throughout the World
Africa is coming out of years of wars and poverty, and there will be a radical change in government and politics. The wealth of their recourses will find a new market, managed with character. The ravaging of their tribes and communities with disease, poverty and conflict will shift this year. Africa will begin to lead out in innovative discoveries. The think tank of African communities has the blessing of heavenly ideas. Soon they will be linked with people who can help take these discoveries and use them as blessings in other nations.
A greater unity within Africa will come this year. Prior to 2019, there have been many factions and divisions in Africa. This has increased tribalism and competition at any cost. Abusing the import and export business of Africa will be confronted. Even crime which has benefited greatly from their resources will be turned around. The Lord has heard the cries of His people there and will turn this injustice around.
The Korean nations will be rescued from the threat of North Korea and their dominant control. Intellectual gifts will be released, bringing breakthrough in many disciplines and will greatly impact the world. South Korea will shift to a "sheep nation" and Christianity will rise to a large percentage. South Korea will become a great ally of the United States, assisting in bringing freedom to North Korea. North and South Korea will reconcile and families, communities and shared gifts given to Korea by God will be healed. When this happens a great rejoicing will fill the earth and every nation. A unified Korea will be a worldwide blessing. North Korea is entering a season of turnaround. North Korea will be set free and do away with the cruel, dominant approach of ruling their people. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
I saw revival exploding throughout nations in 2019. Revival will break out in England. Burton-on-Trent will be the epicenter of this move of God, and it will spread like a wildfire to cities throughout England. It will then spread to Scotland and Ireland. Revival will break out in North Dakota and then move quickly to Canada. Let it rain!
England is going to rise up as an apostolic nation, leading impacting and changing others nations throughout the world. God has blessed them with divine order which will bring blessing. The roots of revival are coming alive and will bless the peoples of England with character, law and foundations to move forward.
Canada is going to see a change from the liberalism that has ruled their nation. Their import and export business will increase and bring in money to bless people from the West to the East. Revival will refresh and awaken the roots of Godly character established all throughout Canada. Canada will form an alliance with the United States and demonstrate their loyalty in 2019. NORAD in Canada will be called to act several times, most of which will not be publicized. However, divine protection and order has been established in Canada. God is calling on the deposit of this gift to shine. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
