'America Is in Trouble': Franklin Graham's 'Decision' Tour
Heads to Oregon, Washington

Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, thinks it’s time to bring the
country together.

Coming on the heels of news headlines highlighting the tremendous unrest in the country as well as
divisions along party lines and tragic mass shootings, Graham senses the need for America to feel
and know the love of God.

"We want to unite people from all walks of life, from every church and denomination, to pray for our
leaders, our communities and our neighbors. Only God can change people's hearts and heal our
country," says Graham.

Samaritan's Purse Shifts to Family Care in Ebola Crisis

Billy Graham - Integrated Crusades

As the head of the international Christian relief organization Samaritan's Purse, Graham has seen
tragedy and distress all over the world.

While traveling to places like Guatemala, East Africa and the Middle East, he brought the message
of hope to millions.

Now he says he wants to bring the message of hope and unity to the people right here in the USA.
According to the evangelist, "We all face crossroads in our lives—moments when we need to make
important decisions."

Graham says that important decision is whether or not to walk with Christ.

He wants to offer everyday people “the opportunity to make a spiritual decision that can impact
their lives not only now, but for eternity."

Graham, 65, is taking his message of God’s love throughout Oregon and Washington state this summer.

The national tour, known as Decision America, hit all 50 state capitals in 2016 and aims to reach as
many souls through the ministry or prayer as well as worship with Christian artist Jeremy Camp.

The Grammy-nominated Camp will lead the crowds in worship each night at this free event.

His hope is that people in the Evergreen State will sense the presence of God and embrace His love.

According to his website, Graham thinks he has the key to restoring America.

“The most critical thing you can do is pray, pray, pray. The intercession of God’s people is crucial if
we are to see a return to the biblical faith of our fathers, the faith that has guided and sustained our
country for so long,” said Graham.

'Pray for 45': How Franklin Graham Is Striking Back at Walmart Anti-Trump Clothing Line - CBN News Alegra Hall

'Pray for 45': How Franklin Graham Is Striking Back at
Walmart Anti-Trump Clothing Line

CBN News Alegra Hall
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association unveiled a "Pray for 45" t-shirt on their website earlier
this week.

The 100 percent cotton, sports team style shirt includes the Bible reference 1 Timothy 2:2, which
encourages the believer to pray for “all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable
life in all godliness and reverence.”

The website describes the shirt as a visible “reminder to lift up our president in prayer.”

Walmart Offers to Pay for Employees to Go to College

Evangelist Franklin Graham launched the shirt and its new messaging after Walmart came under fire
for selling "Impeach 45" shirts, baby clothes and other items on their website.

Despite the fact that Walmart also sells pro-Trump items, such as Make America Great Again caps,
Fortune magazine says the megastore received massive backlash from patrons who were threatening
to boycott.

The hashtag #BoycottWalmart was trending on Twitter after a conservative commentator tweeted his
unfortunate discovery.

What kind of message are you trying to send? The outcry prompted this statement from the retailer:
“These items were sold by third-party sellers on our open marketplace and were not offered directly
by Walmart. We’re removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies.”

But this isn’t the first time Walmart has been on the receiving end of bad PR due to items on their
website.

In 2017, the juggernaut came under fire for selling shirts through Teespring, which threatened violence
against journalists.

The shirt, which was removed from the site, said “Rope. Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY
REQUIRED.”

A Walmart representative told Fortune magazine that once they received word of this disturbing
product, they pulled it and “kicked off a human sweep of the site to find and remove any similar
content.”

Supreme Court Unanimously Upholds Woman's Right to Pray in Her Own Home - CBN News Alegra Hall

Supreme Court Unanimously Upholds Woman's Right to Pray
in Her Own Home
06-28-2018
CBN News Alegra Hall
In a stunning reversal of a lower court decision Thursday, the US Supreme Court sided with religious l
iberty, ruling unanimously that a Kansas woman does indeed have the right to pray in her own home.

The case, Sause v. Bauer, centers on Mary Anne Sause, a devout Catholic who was playing her radio
in her home when, according to her attorneys, police were called to investigate “a minor noise
complaint.”

Sause says the cops harassed her and threatened to take her to jail when she asked why she would
silently, the officers allowed it and then ordered her to stop praying.

Sause later sued the officers, but their command was upheld by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

NBC reports that the courts sided with the officers, ruling that although “the conduct of the officers
was unprofessional, there was no court decision finding a First Amendment violation based on facts
like those in her case."

The lower court went on to say that the officers did not violate her First Amendment rights despite
Sause’s testimony that when she showed them a copy of the Constitution, “One officer laughed and
said, 'That's just a piece of paper' and, 'That doesn't work here,' " reports The Christian Post.

But Sause took the appellate court's decision to a higher authority, a move that ultimately led to
Thursday's Supreme Court victory.

Kelly Shackelford, president and CEO of First Liberty, which represented Sause in the case, had
this to say: “No American citizen should ever be ordered by government officials not to pray in
their own home.”

According to Ms. Sause, her prayers worked because she had a divine intervention to fight for
her right to pray without fear of harassment.

“I am thankful that God provided me attorneys from First Liberty and Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher,
who fought this tremendous legal battle on my behalf,” she said.

Meanwhile, it's come to light that Sause's legal team was once led by James Ho, a possible pick
to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Before taking the bench as a judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, then attorney
Ho led the legal team that ultimately won Sauce's fight for religious liberty.

Judge Ho was mentioned by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as a possible pick to replace Kennedy.

'Abortion Will End in This Nation and It Will End Through Love': New Poll Shows Nationwide Pro-Life Shift - CBN News Alegra Hall

'Abortion Will End in This Nation and It Will End
Through Love': New Poll Shows Nationwide Pro-Life Shift

CBN News Alegra Hall

A recent Gallup poll shows most Americans are not in favor of abortion on demand. According to
the survey, however, while “most do not favor an outright ban” on abortion, they do “want limits”
on the practice.

The nationwide study, based on the results from more than 1,000 respondents throughout all 50 states,
concludes that there is some movement on the pro-life front.

It seems to show that 53 percent of those surveyed believe abortion should only be allowed under
certain circumstances.

Forgiving Yourself After Choosing Abortion

Abortion Survivor Finds the Grace of God

Catherine Glenn Foster, who serves as the president and CEO of Americans United for Life, is
encouraged by the numbers.

“The latest Gallup numbers on abortion are very encouraging for the pro-life community," Foster
told CBN News.

They show that the percentage of Americans who self-identify as "pro-life" has skyrocketed by
15 percent since the mid-1990s and now totals 48 percent. Meanwhile, the percentage of Americans
who self-identify as "pro-choice" has plummeted by 8 percent to 48 percent, says Foster.

Another question asked in the probe is whether abortion is morally wrong.

The study shows that “by a slim five-percentage-point margin, 48-43 percent, Americans believe
abortion is wrong from a moral perspective.”

Abby Johnson, president of And Then There Were None and author of Unplanned, is encouraged
by the new findings.

"Abortion already has a stigma attached to it, as it should, because it ends at least one life and
harms many others," she told CBN News. "The majority of Americans recognize this, which is
encouraging. If the culture continues to move in this direction, in the direction of realizing the
destruction abortion causes, we will make abortion unthinkable.”

Johnson thinks she has the remedy for ending abortion in this country: “Loving those who work
in the abortion industry and helping them to get out of it," she said.

"I believe we will see the number of Americans who see abortion as morally wrong and choose
to not support it go up,” she told CBN News.

The same study found also found that polygamy and married people having affairs was morally
wrong, too.

Some 78 percent said they found “polygamy, when a married person has more than one spouse
at the same time,” to be wrong while a whopping 88 percent felt that married people having
extramarital affairs was wrong.

One out of four of those surveyed also found that suicide was morally wrong.

Overall, pro-life advocates are excited about the survey.

Foster added, “This shows us that the more Americans learn about abortion and get to the facts
of the issue rather than the often-overwrought and polemic political rhetoric that surrounds it, the
more life-affirming their positions become. And that is news we can all celebrate!”

As for abortion, Johnson is hopeful the country's loss of some 60 million pre-born babies will be
a wake-up call for America.

Johnson, who worked in the abortion industry for eight years and who witnessed a baby in the
womb fighting for its life, thinks "abortion will end in this nation and it will end through love."

On her website, she adds, “The most important thing to know is that I believe in forgiveness, mercy,
and redemption. No one is beyond the amazing power of Christ and His love.”

‘Jesus Culture’ Worship Leader Reveals How She Sings the Blues Away - CBN News Alegra Hall

‘Jesus Culture’ Worship Leader Reveals How She Sings the Blues Away
05-22-2018
CBN News Alegra Hall
In an effort to shine the light of God on dark areas of the Christian walk, Jesus Culture frontwoman
Kim Walker-Smith says she battled depression.

The prolific songwriter who is used to singing before thousands at packed stadiums opened up
about her private battles off stage.

In her online bio, the 30-something songstress says her passion is “to see people transformed by
experiencing God’s love” and that’s what happened to the Oregon native as she began to use her
Christian Values

Katy Perry Says the 'Grace of God' Brought Her Through Suicidal Depression

Walker- Smith says despite her fame and notoriety she suffered from post-partum depression after
the birth of her second child.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, she is not alone. They estimate on average 1 in 9
women deal with post-partum and in some states, it is as high as 1 in 5 women.

Some symptoms include excessive crying, feelings of disconnectedness with your newborn baby
and feelings of guilt over your ability to be a good mother.

The good news is that the CDC says the condition “is treatable and most people get better with
treatment.”

Walker-Smith tells The Christian Post her treatment is a time in worship with the Lord adding
that in the lowest of times when we sing to the Lord “God honors that sacrifice.”

In her latest release from her 2017 solo album, Walker-Smith takes the listener through her journey
and ultimate deliverance from depression.

The powerful lyrics from songs like On My Side encourage the listener to know God is fighting
for them.

She sings: In the tragedy, you grieve with me Your comfort is my song In my wandering, You're
still rescuing You will never, never give up

According to The Christian Post, Walker-Smith wants believers to know that during that time of
praise in a hard spot “Fire always falls on the sacrifice. You bring everything that you have to
Jesus and you won't be disappointed, you won't be let down.”

Christian Posts Blocked: Will 'Christian Speech' Be Allowed in the New Facebook World? - CBN News Alegra Hall

Christian Posts Blocked: Will 'Christian Speech' Be Allowed in the New Facebook World?
04-10-2018
CBN News Alegra Hall
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is on Capitol Hill Tuesday responding to questions about the recent Cambridge Analytica scandal in which the data of 87 million users was gathered to build a psychological profile for political gain.
Over the next two days, a group of broadcasters wants Congress to ask the billionaire about allegations Facebook routinely blocks images and content with a conservative message.
Zuckerberg has long prided himself on building a global online community. In a 2017 message, the tech genius told users he was committed to building a platform that will “bring humanity together” to reframe the world into a better place.
“In times like these, the most important thing we at Facebook can do is develop the social infrastructure to give people the power to build a global community that works for all of us,” Zuckerberg said.
But some want to ask Mr. Zuckerberg if his new global community includes them.
The National Religious Broadcasters points to several instances in which Christian themes were deleted or banned. In one instance, a Catholic university put up a picture of a cross to commemorate Easter. Facebook rejected the ad because it did not meet its standards.
After a secondary review, the social media giant reversed their initial censorship of the ad. Still, NRB leaders want to know what was so "shocking, sensational, or excessively violent" to cause it to be initially censored.
The NRB wants Congress to hold Zuckerberg’s feet to the fire over these allegations of censorship.
They say there are five major questions he should answer, including how the social media juggernaut defines “hate speech” and how they respond to comments by Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai, who acknowledged that some social media platforms “routinely block or discriminate against content they don’t like.”
The NRB is not alone in its concerns with Facebook’s policies on free speech.
Earlier this week, social media personalities Diamond and Silkaccused Facebook of blocking their nearly 1.4 million viewers from receiving updates because they were deemed offensive.
Specifically, they say the social media giant labeled their content "unsafe to the community."
The sisters, who are ardent supporters of President Donald Trump, told Fox News they were appalled by this new classification, saying they are just “two black chicks who are down with politics.”

In Case You Missed It: Planned Parenthood Wants Disney to Create Post-Abortion, Transgender Princesses - CBN News Alegra Hall

In Case You Missed It: Planned Parenthood Wants Disney to Create Post-Abortion, Transgender Princesses
03-28-2018
CBN News Alegra Hall
Recent tweets from a Planned Parenthood affiliate demanded Disney include a post-abortive princess in their next film.
The tweet by Planned Parenthood of Keystone Pennsylvania was met with public outrage, forcing the agency to pull it from their page but some followers kept the feed alive.

Melissa Reed, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Keystone, responded to her social media critics with this statement:
"Planned Parenthood believes that pop culture - television shows, music, movies-  has a critical role to play in educating the public and sparking meaningful conversations around sexual and reproductive health issues and policies, including abortion. We also know that emotionally authentic portrayals of these experiences are still extremely rare - and that's part of a much bigger lack of honest depictions of certain people's lives and communities."
Reed, who oversees affiliates spanning 37 Pennsylvania counties - which, according to their website, sees 35,000 patients each year - stands firm in her commitment to fight for reproductive choice and LGBTQ concerns.
Regarding the now infamous tweet, Reed adds, "Today, we joined an ongoing Twitter conversation about the kinds of princesses people want to see in an attempt to make a point about the importance of telling stories that challenge stigma and championing stories that too often don't get told. Upon reflection, we decided that the seriousness of the point we were trying to make was not appropriate for the subject matter or context, and we removed the tweet."
Outside of the social media forum there are others who don't agree with Reed's line of thought concerning the type of stories our children should be told and the morals of the animated characters they want to emulate.
Instead of using a princess to support adult issues, Movieguide founder Dr. Ted Baehr thinks we should focus on films that bring a positive message to our children.
When asked what types of animated characters have a positive influence on young people, Baehr has this to say: "Animated characters have more influence on children, and some of the audience, who are vulnerable, will get their scripts of behavior from the movie Planned Parenthood is requesting."
Baehr, who has been teaching media literacy for more than four decades, backs up his statement by pointing to the more than "500,000 studies on the varied influence of movies on children - and 99 percent of the studies reveal the influence."
He is also the chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission ministry and adds these adult themes are not appropriate for a G-rated film and encourages the reader to note that Disney has not tweeted back and has not said they will make that content.
According to the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the G rating denotes the film is open for all ages" and that the film contains "nothing that would offend parents for viewing by children."
Ratings have been in effect since 1968 and the MPAA takes their role very seriously.
"Movie ratings provide parents with advance information about the content of movies to help them determine what's appropriate for their children. After all, parents know best their children's individual sensitivities and sensibilities," the organization explained in a statement on its website.
Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America, thinks a G-rated, post-abortive princess film would, in fact, be offensive to parents.
Nance, a Liberty University graduate, says, "Children should indeed learn about human development from a young age - it's in their natural curiosity to ask about babies in the tummies of mommies."
However, this mother of two takes issue with adult themes in children's movies, noting, "Abortion is graphic. It's violent. It's life-ending. It doesn't belong in a film meant for kids."
Box Office Mojo tracks the success of films and it finds that G-rated films are big business, with the animated favorite the "Lion King" and "Toy Story 3" both grossing over $400 million each.
Princess themes do very well, too. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," the "Little Mermaid" and "The Princes and the Frog" have all topped $100 million.
Dr. Baehr thinks society is looking for life-affirming family films. He says "Year after year, pro-life movies do better at the box office."
For instance, faith-filled movies like "Fireproof" grossed over $30 million at the box office, while the "Passion of the Christ" earned over 370 million. And the smash hit "Chronicles of Narnia" films together topped a half billion dollars.
Nance, who serves on President Donald Trump's Life Advisory Council, agrees that family films are in demand and that themes like abortion can be harmful to young minds.
"We need to curb this trend of embracing abortion as a flippant decision and remember that we are talking about ending the life of a baby," she said. "Children are often sensitive to death and Disney movies are viewed by young children, little girls that are attached to their baby dolls and entranced by newborns."
"Even pushing aside the morality of abortion, it is a traumatic concept for a young child to be exposed to," she added.
Nance calls it a "nasty indoctrination tactic" used by groups like Planned Parenthood and she urges society to "let children enjoy their childhood."
