Bill Yount and Andy Sanders: "Did You Feel the Shift? A New Transmission for a New Transition is Here!"

The Elijah List
Sep 20, 2018

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
I really enjoyed reading this combo word by both Andy Sanders and Bill Yount. I know this will deeply minister to many of you who have felt in transition and on hold...even for a long time!
Know this: much of the transition has been preparation and absolutely necessary for your journey ahead!
Be encouraged by this word of the Lord:
"I am shifting your homes, jobs (assignments/careers), and churches/ministries. I will shift this country and countries from the top down all over the world. Many will be stunned by unexpected, supernatural shifts that only I can do. The world will see and feel this shift. I am shifting My people to a new gear; into a new era. I am the Author and Finisher of your faith—no one else."
Please also forward this to everyone you know! I believe it is full of so much life for you...right now! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

While mowing my back yard, God asked me (Andy), "Did you feel the shift?"Right after that I went directly into an open vision, seeing two images at the same time: one was several internal gears (like for a transmission) and the other was a gear shift for a heavy-duty truck. When I saw the gears and the gear shift, the moment struck a special cord in my heart. Years ago, I worked in a hot, stinky factory building transmission parts. I know a few things about the gears, so I knew what He was saying. Each gear releases a different kind of speed and power, but all the gears are connected to one system that drives you forward. Each gear is important for sustainable movement.
"Fred"
"If you are still tempted to throw the towel in, wash someone's feet with it and you will find yourself picking it up again."
I was also trained in professional driving with heavy trucks and equipment. I used to drive an old, beat-up 1985 International 4900; this was a nearly dead, but solid running dump truck that we fondly called, "Fred." This beast of a truck reminded me of an oversized "Herbie VW bug." Sometimes I wondered if Fred didn't do things to tick me off at just the right time. There were times when I started to think Fred had a mind of his own. (I'm kidding of course; but those who drive old, heavy equipment will understand what I am saying.) "Fred" was a 10-speed manual shifter; it took all 10 gears to finally get up to around 60 MPS when fully loaded with roughly 14 tons of hot, burning asphalt in the back of the bed. When loaded that heavy, it often felt like I was going nowhere while in first gear.
Shifting Properly
Prophetic word: Some of you feel like you are in first gear and you're moving slow. Others may feel like you've been stuck in first gear for decades. It isn't important how long you have been in first gear (or the lower three gears 1-3) and moving at snail's pace, it's more important to know where you are heading. Once you shift to the upper gears (4-10) and start moving faster, you will end right on target.
Know this: without first gear you can't shift properly to second. First gear is where the momentum and power is developed without putting strain on the transmission. You can go to second without first, but based on the way it's built, first gear is part of the normal process of developing momentum for moving forward. Often, we want to quickly get from second to tenth, skipping all of the gears between, but this is not how we are designed—it is not how God intended. The process (1-10 gears) is what makes us overcomers.(Photo of "Fred" via Andy Sanders)
"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33NIV)
I shared this revelation with Bill Yount, and I soon discovered that God spoke the same thing to him as He did to me, possibly within a two-day time-frame.
Here is what Bill Yount heard from the Lord:
Are You in Transition?
Have you been asking the question, "What is going on in my life?" If you have, you are probably in transition. Transition is when you don't seem to fit where you used to and you wonder how you're going to fit anywhere in the future. God knows. He's excited for you.
Transition has a downside: It's a vulnerable time. During transition we can become confused or weak because of the pressure the Lord allows to help change us to be more like Him. Under pressure what is inside us comes out, but not always the way we're meant to say it. So often we are misunderstood during this vulnerable time. At this critical time we must believe what looks like a "maze" to us is "amazing" to God.
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
Beware of Misunderstandings
Misunderstanding kills relationships and ministries more than anything. Let's talk it out. I heard the Lord saying, "I have put certain gems of wisdom in some people you may not like. Love everyone for your own good and welfare. Yes, that does include your enemies." (Ouch!)
"Each gear releases a different kind of speed and power, but all the gears are connected to one system that drives you forward."
Transition is when many are tempted to quit or blame the Lord for not changing things or circumstances instead of yielding to His Spirit to help change ourselves. Transition is never easy, but always worth it—none of us want to stay the same as we are now. If you are still tempted to throw the towel in, wash someone's feet with it, and you will find yourself picking it up again.
Be Patient During Transition
You are getting a new transmission with upgraded gears. Modern, heavy-duty trucks have automatic transmissions. These transmissions move faster and smoother and can get a lot more done in a much quicker time. What you are feeling is God's upgrade from a manual to an automatic. As you read the manual (God's Bible/His Word) He will automatically work on your behalf, allowing you to move quicker, with more power, and get a lot more done.
Before You Throw the Towel in, Get out of Town
I would like to suggest, if at all possible, to take a break during transition and get out of town to be in God's beautiful creation. My wife and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and went to the ocean and watched the endless waves, the birds, and countless creatures of His Kingdom. It's as though God didn't know when to stop creating things.
Creation speaks. We felt so small standing by the ocean. We sensed it saying, "Your God is bigger than all of my waters," and the animals resounding, "What a wonderful world." We felt God's presence strongly, and I know now why Jesus escaped out of town to the mountains to get away and receive refreshment and rest with His Father.
I AM is Shifting You
"I have placed My hand upon your life. What others said could never be, will happen before your eyes. I have shifted you into a new gear, a different speed, a different pace, and a unique power unlike what you have walked in before. Many ideas you once had will be no more; strongholds you once carried will not be welcomed with this shift (new gear). The 'truck' of your life will be able to carry heavier loads, but feel lighter. I am calling you to walk at a new pace, a much deeper trust, and a more mature reverence for My presence. (Photo via Unsplash)
Some of you reading this were about to walk away and turn a direction that isn't yours to turn. I hear the Lord saying, "I will prove Myself faithful to you!" Buckle your seat belts! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Andy Sanders: "Through July 31st - Many Closings will Bring New Beginnings"

The Elijah List Jun 27, 2018

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
This is truly a NOW word for many of you...as you are embarking on a new journey that is ordained from the Lord.
Some of you are in transition of "closing" where you are at and moving into a "new beginning" as Andy Sanders shares in this time-sensitive word.
Andy shares here:
There will be many sudden and unexpected closings, along with well-planned closings, but they both will lead you to new beginnings. Don't focus on the closing and what you assume you are losing; instead, focus on what God is giving you in return.
I pray this encourages all those who in this time are being led of the Lord to close one chapter and start the next. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

A few days ago, I was just reading the Word and spending some time with the Lord, and He said to me, "There will be many closings from now through July 31st, 2018." I was gripped by the thought. A few hours later, I was in my backyard tending to a project that had been going on for six years, and it actually was completed that same day. This project was no ordinary project; it brought the good, the bad, and the really ugly out of me many times. Sometimes I thought that project would never end, yet ironically, it was finished on the same exact day God spoke to me about closings! God had my attention, no doubt!
A few hours after that, I went into the office and my lovely wife told me that she was finishing up the final details to a major project that we had been working on for many years. On the same day, this project was over and officially ended! (I would like to point out that I hadn't said anything to her yet about the six-year backyard project had that just been completed, nor had I said anything about what the Lord had spoken to me earlier that day about many things closing.)
On that same evening, we had dinner with some special friends we went to church with, and they told us that they would be attending a new church that is being planted—this was a closing and a new beginning! The next morning, I woke up and read an email announcing that another person I knew and connected with in ministry would be leaving their full-time position on July 31st, 2018, and it is now time for that post to have a new beginning. Was my spirit charged and my ears perked by now? Yes, indeed!
"God knows what you are about to walk through and He is already prepared for it."
As I processed what the Lord told me and watched all of this unfold so quickly, I felt the Lord impress on me that I needed to share this message to the Body of Christ—because this radical change is just beginning, and it will affect many across the country and in other nations.
There will be many sudden and unexpected closings, along with well-planned closings, but they both will lead you to new beginnings. Don't focus on the closing and what you assume you are losing; instead, focus on what God is giving you in return.
Transition from Closing to New Beginning
Do you remember Job? Take a good look:
"The Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys." (Job 42:12 NIV)
God makes no mistakes in the work of restoration and transition in a person's life. And He will not make a mistake in your life, either!
Sometimes closings can feel a little scary. Something that closes in our lives can make us feel like we are out of control, going to shipwreck, or worse yet, never able to rebound. I want to encourage you with this brief word that there will be some closings coming, but regardless of how things close, the reason it is happening isn't to bring you harm, but rather to thrust you directly into your new beginning. This new launch is a place where God has sovereignly chosen to lead you.
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
From time to time we actually have to come out of one project completely before God can transition us to the next assignment. If you are like me, you may have tried many times to do too many important things at once, and sometimes it just doesn't work well. I believe God is pulling us away from things that are unimportant, and launching us into things that are extremely important for our lives.
Sometimes our calendars, schedules, and plans just don't line up with where God wants to take us anymore, so He decides to change our course. As a good friend of mine always says, "Change is messy! The bigger the change, the bigger the mess it can bring. But it has to happen to get us where God is leading us."
Our hope rests in Him:
"Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long." (Psalm 25:5 NIV)
Our Steps Forward
Some of you reading this right now just received news that something in your life is closing; some of you will receive news in the near future that something is closing. During this time we should follow a few steps:
• Walk Forward and Trust Him
Sometimes I wonder which would be scarier: walking on murky water to where you can't see the bottom or walking on crystal clear water—so clear that you can see that the bottom is so far down you wouldn't dare try to touch it. Some of the steps ahead will be like walking on water for some. Unfortunately, we don't get to pick the visibility of the water or the depth of the ocean that the Lord asks us to step out on.
"There will be many closings from now through July 31st, 2018."
Have you ever looked upon something from a high view, seeing far down below? Remember the breathtaking feeling? This is what something "closing" can feel like. At first it can feel breathtaking and even fearful, but God is there. He is in the heights, the depths, and the small steps of faith many are about to take.
"Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?" (Psalm 139:7 NIV)
• Don't Be Afraid to Share Your Thoughts
God knows what you are about to walk through and He is already prepared for it. Don't be afraid to share how you really feel with Him. He wants to hear what you have to say about it. I think sometimes we feel that because God knows what we are walking through, we don't have to talk to Him about it. But instead we talk to everyone else but Him. We need to talk to Him, and in doing so, He will help you find closure—this is always the better way.
Rest assured that God never closes a door unless He intends on opening something else for you. He will not leave you abandoned!
"Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in Me will not be disappointed" (Isaiah 49:23 NIV). (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

"A Vision of God's Clydesdale Horses Bringing Breakthrough, Strength and New Oil!" Bill Yount and Andy Sanders - The Elijah List

"A Vision of God's Clydesdale Horses Bringing Breakthrough, Strength and New Oil!"

Bill Yount and Andy Sanders
May 10, 2018  The Elijah List
Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
This is a very thrilling read by Bill Yount and Andy Sanders, who wrote this article together.
I always enjoy reading testimonies of God confirming things from two to three witnesses about what He is doing...you'll see that as Bill and Andy share an awesome word about God's Clydesdales coming and what they represent:
God is coming in power this time, and the greater the burdens and loads on the Body of Christ, the stronger the delivering power (Clydesdales) will be. These horses are so powerful that I believe they represent angelic horses in God's army. They are coming with, "Power, power, wonder-working power in the Blood of the Lamb."
Enjoy...and be empowered, healed and set free in any areas needed! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Note: This article was co-written by Bill and Andy. The parts that are marked with their names are their testimonies; the unmarked sections were jointly written.
Bill: I flew to New York recently on an early flight for ministry, and went to check in at a hotel at 6:45 am. The person at the counter said, "You are too early for a normal room. We are going to give you an upgraded suite and not charge any extra for it." As I stepped into the suite, the presence of the Lord was so strong that I was speechless. I am so used to doing warfare in hotel rooms to cleanse them when I enter, but I didn't need to because there was no reason for it. I said, "Lord, what is going on with this room? Nothing is in this room but You." He answered, "Someone has gone before you on this, and it's just Me and you."Since I arrived a day early, I was in His glory room all day before the meetings started. God took the heavy burden of pre-warfare away and made it extremely easy to minister that weekend.
The Clydesdales Are Coming!
"God is serious in these days about getting us help and making us whole. Where there's oil, there's spoil!"
This reminded me of the power and supernatural ability of a Clydesdale horse. If you had access to the strength of a horse for just one day, how much more could you accomplish? How many breakthroughs would be discovered if angelic-like Clydesdales took over for you?
God is coming in power this time, and the greater the burdens and loads on the Body of Christ, the stronger the delivering power (Clydesdales) will be. These horses are so powerful that I believe they represent angelic horses in God's army. They are coming with, "Power, power, wonder-working power in the Blood of the Lamb."
Here's why they have arrived: Clydesdales are a heavy horse, a powerful breed, used for bringing major results. Commonly, Clydesdales are Scottish workhorses weighing in at around one ton. Historically, Clydesdales are also outstanding warhorses because of their height and strength. They are often more than six feet tall. In pulling power, they can normally pull around eight thousand pounds for short lengths and four hundred or so pounds for several hours a day. These superior traits mean they are able to get into certain places other horses can't because the other horses don't have the strength and stamina to do so. Also, Clydesdales are normally very calm, even in times of battle. What's interesting is that Clydesdales have been known to remain extremely docile in very loud and hostile surroundings.
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." (Isaiah 40:29 NIV)
You may think, "I am so weak." To quote the Hillsong Worship song, What the Lord Has Done in Me: "Let the weak say, 'I am strong.' Let the poor say, 'I am rich.'" Don't count God's might out of your equation. The Lord is giving a break in our battles of life. We can get so used to mental warfare that we need to get our minds renewed and back into the mind of Christ.
Restoration begins with "rest." Rest will become a mighty weapon in the corridors of our minds. These angelic-horses will not only pull your burdens and heavy loads, but the Lord says, "You will ride them. They will carry you, and as you rest on them they will do the work for you." I hear the Lord saying, "I'm taking over from here. Get on the Clydesdale." (Photo via Unsplash)
Andy: On the same day Bill contacted me about the Clydesdales, just hours before, I went into an open vision where large amounts of golden oil was slowly being poured out all over the Body of Christ. At first I thought, "Wow! But, oh man...not another oil vision or dream." Oil and prophecy seem almost like cousins these days. Then I noticed what God was showing me: the oil was glistening like miniature diamonds, resting from within, as it poured down and all over millions of people and situations that they are currently walking through. The oil was filled with healing antidotes and extremely high levels of nutrients. This oil is rich in energy like honey, yet soothing like aloe. God is pouring out His best!
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
The Clydesdales are bringing divine, breakthrough oil! The Clydesdales are bringing relief (oil) to places where breakthrough has never been before, such as situations that have never been resolved, healings that haven't happened yet, and in some cases, family matters that have never been restored. In some situations, maybe we have never really allowed Him into certain areas of our lives in order for the Lord to completely heal us up. God is bringing His oil into unpassable areas, places we have yet to discover or uncover. It is the wonderful working of God's power to set us free! God is serious in these days about getting us help and making us whole. Where there's oil, there's spoil!
God is Pouring the Oil Out and It Will:
"God is coming in power this time, and the greater the burdens and loads on the Body of Christ, the stronger the delivering power (Clydesdales) will be."
1. Bring powerful healing on the Body of Christ. The Lord is teaching us how to walk in consistent breakthroughs, and it is time to show the world that Jesus can deliver from all sins and sicknesses.
"Yet the news about Him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses." (Luke 5:15 NIV)
2. Supernaturally shift financial burdens off the Body of Christ. We can't doubt and walk by faith at the same time! We must trust, believe, and be very careful what we speak about money. Every time we say, "I don't have enough money," our words wrap a chain around our wallet or purse. It is time to say goodbye to debt!
"The servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go."(Matthew 18:27 NIV)
3. A fuller, greater harvest. The Clydesdales are ready to work; they are ready for action. The harvest is pushing through—it is now time to go after the lost loved ones in our families and communities!
"Don't you have a saying, 'It's still four months until harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest." (John 4:35 NIV)
Have you ever thought, Whose harvest is it? It's not our harvest and even we (the laborers) are His. Everything is His! The Clydesdales (a spiritual symbol of God's help and breakthrough) will become a huge factor in bringing in the harvest. The people of the world will see the results and power of God working through us in such a way that they will chase us down to have His power (Clydesdales) and His presence (oil) in their lives. Remember, we are all a part of the harvest. (Photo via Unsplash)
As a sign to the world and to the lost, some extremely bizarre (unfathomable) miracles are coming through oil and the topics of oil in the seasons ahead. Many miracles will be activated by releasing the healing oil over people. There will also be scientific breakthroughs in the oil industry coming soon. Remember, it isn't the oil or the Clydesdales that we worship and instead, we worship Jesus!
Jesus said, "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light" (Matthew 11:30). (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Recent Prophetic Dream: The Aging Prophet and the Idol - ANDY SANDERS CHARISMA NEWS

Recent Prophetic Dream: The Aging Prophet and the Idol

ANDY SANDERS  CHARISMA NEWS
A few nights ago, I had one of those God-infused dreams—a message that God was giving me to give to the body of Christ. This dream, the message, is a little meatier than what I am used to sharing. I believe it is a "current state of the church" message, a warning to the church and a message of guidance and hope for the body of Christ.
But first, I am reminded why God gives us dreams, correction, edification, and guidance. The reason is summed up right here:
"whom we preach, warning everyone and teaching everyone in all wisdom, so that we may present them perfect in Christ Jesus" (Col. 1:28).
The Aging Prophet
In the dream, I was sitting in a pew within a very large sanctuary that was filled to capacity for a church service. Next to me was my invited guest. Suddenly, an older, seasoned prophet appeared behind the pulpit, and I noticed that he was fumbling with his notes. Due to his age, he wanted to be prepared—tried to be prepared—but his aging body would no longer allow it, which deeply troubled him. This became more obvious as he scrambled around behind the podium. I could tell he was thinking: This is all I have left, Lord. I can't retire because I have no retirement. I don't want to take a dead-end job at a convenience store at my age. A larger corporation won't hire me because of my track record of service as a full-time traveling prophet for You, Lord.
As he aged further, he became even more frustrated about how he would survive in the years ahead. This man had served the Lord faithfully as a traveling prophet for decades; his time was coming to an end, and I could see that he did not know how to navigate the final season of his life. The aging prophet was stuck doing what he knew to do, but he could no longer do it well.
We are on the soon-coming edge of an entire generation of prophets about to "retire" and come to an end. They are the ones who left everything behind and went by faith. They gave us supernatural words, spoke timely messages, and chose to guide us, in many ways unconditionally. They built the foundation that we are now walking on. We must not forget about them; we must make an effort to honor them in their final seasons of life. The aging prophets shouldn't die begging for bread!
Misguided Order
"Let all things be done decently and in order" (1 Cor. 14:40).
While the aging prophet struggled behind the podium, two people in the congregation stood up at the same time, one near me and one across the aisle, and started speaking the words of the aging prophet as he began speaking. Though they meant well, it wasn't time for them to speak yet and some confusion arose as to what was really supposed to be going on in the service.
Unfortunately, not everyone noticed this slight disorderliness. Instead of listening to the man of God speak, several people were busy talking, playing, or texting unnecessary messages to each other. Others were absorbed in their phones and other misguided priorities. (This isn't referring to taking notes or sending a quick, urgent text; this was focusing completely on that which was not truly important at the time.) I could easily perceive that all of the unnecessary distractions with other priorities could have waited until after the service.
When the two people finally sat down, someone with a drunken stupor about them (which seemed somewhat drummed up to me) decided to enter my pew aisle, even though they knew it was already full. This person fell over on top of my guest and me, actually hurting my guest and making my guest extremely uncomfortable. The person who fell didn't mean to hurt my guest; unfortunately, my guest was upset to the point where they were probably not going to come back to that church ever again. Living supernaturally doesn't have to look like a catastrophe!
Suddenly, another well-known, international prophet stood behind the pulpit and said, "If there's order in this house, it's gone by the time I leave the church." Laughing and cutting it short, the well-known prophet left the platform and headed toward the back foyer.
While still in the dream, I realized it's not supposed to be like this. Traveling prophets and evangelists are not entertainers in the name of a "hyped-up supernatural meeting." Prophets and evangelists are sent by God to equip the body of Christ. Equippers will cause people to fit where they truly belong in the kingdom of God, not where we think the person should fit based on our own selfish desires.
The Idol
"But, speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into Him, who is the head, Christ Himself" (Eph. 4:15).
After the well-known prophet left the podium, a person standing in the aisle suddenly looked at me and said, "The prophet is taking pictures back in the foyer with people now. You can go get a picture with him with all of his beads on around his neck." I immediately saw the well-known prophet in the back foyer with "special, anointed beads" around his neck, sitting in a photo booth that he had made so that others could get a picture with him. (You would have to pay to get the picture, of course.) The beads around his neck were "anointed," he would say. While pictures were being taken, he also promoted the beads that were for sale on his table because they were "special, anointed beads." At one point, this prophet's table had offered all kinds of teaching books, timely messages and important information from the Lord to share with the body of Christ; now, the table was filled with rosary beads that "were anointed" and now for sale.
Sadly, the well-known prophet also was losing his focus while still in his latter days of traveling ministry. He didn't have much to write about or say anymore. His best-selling books were no longer best-sellers; his schedule wasn't as full. His prophetic gift was still spot-on but, regrettably, he had been to so many of the same venues over the past several years that the people were starting to take his gift and calling for granted and even idolize him instead of honoring the Lord as the One who sent the prophet to them. In the dream it was clear: our focus was more on what was going on (the excitement of the meeting) and who elicited the excitement (the prophet) than on the giver of them both: Jesus!

Andy shares this potent statement in his article:
Get ready—we are about to be stunned by what this generation will bring to the table. The Millennials are going to school the earth with some Kingdom thinking that we are not used to.
Now, please forward this word on to everyone you know...as it's vital we work together and share our time, treasures and talents and pass on everything we can to the next generation! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)

Millennials are the one group that carries an "all-in and all-out" attitude. If they believe in something, they are all in, and if they don't then they are completely (and quickly) out. It's easy to look at this generation and immediately judge them because they're not like other generations, yet Millennial Christians are just as pure toward the heart of God. My generation came out of the prayer movement, while millennials were birthed through the worship movement. Both are beautiful in God's eyes.
"I Am going to show the world My power through a generation that has been deemed powerless."
Years ago, when I was a youth pastor, it was common to go to Sunday school, Sunday morning service, Sunday night, and also Wednesday night youth group. For many in the adult services, it was frustrating to see my youth group arrive wearing shorts on a Wednesday night or blue jeans on a Sunday morning. More than once, the older generation equated their clothing to their spirituality. Some would go as far as suggesting they must not have any morals at all if they are wearing shorts to church. We sometimes look, quickly judge, and then label this group as the "most misfit of us all." In reality, they are not much different than we were at that age.
The older generation was attempting to pass the glory of God down to the next generation through their traditions and that which was "well and common to them" for their own time. It didn't work. There are some things we do in our modern churches that really aren't geared toward the next generation. We can either ignore them or we can pass the glory of God on to the next generation in a way that they can receive and embrace like we did years ago.
We can start by asking two questions that every church/ministry should ask:
1. How do we meet the needs of the Millennials?
2. How do we pass the glory of God on to this generation in a way that they can understand and receive? (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
The Millennials Are Coming Out of Their Hiding Places
The Lord hides some of His most valued treasures within the fields of our everyday lives. He does this in order for us to discover the deepest intimacies of His Kingdom—willingly placing His gems within the dirt of our lives. He chooses our dark places to reveal His light.
For a generation that has been labeled so dark, God is choosing to reveal His brightest light through Millennials. "He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him" (Daniel 2:22 NIV).

While talking to a pastor years ago he said to me, "Andy, we have seen it all, man. We have just seen it all in our church." Then he started dropping big names (many who have passed since then). He said, "These are the types of people who come into our church." What he was really saying was, "Andy, what do you think you can offer to us, a church group, that has already arrived?" Let's face it, don't we do the same thing to the Millennials sometimes? Unfortunately, yes!
Get ready—we are about to be stunned by what this generation will bring to the table. The Millennials are going to school the earth with some Kingdom thinking that we are not used to.
A Word for Millennials
"We can either ignore them or we can pass the glory of God on to the next generation..."
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord (Psalm 27:13-14 NIV).
"I Am bringing something new to the establishments of your time, the established tables of the Kingdom—those who carry a 'we have seen it all' attitude. I hear many saying, 'What can this generation possibly bring to our table?' Many established places have become accustomed to success, as if they have personally arrived. Many are still relishing the 'glory days' of their time. My glory isn't to be hoarded.
"I am using the Millennials, the unknowns of your time, to fill key seats of every sector of this globe. From pulpits to politics, they will become My hands and feet, My voice. There are many unexpected doors about to open to My Millennials—a sign of My doing, My hand upon this generation. I Am going to show the world My power through a generation that has been deemed powerless.
"With My mighty hand I Am bringing this generation up out of their darkness and into My light. I Am breaking the spirit of rejection and abandonment off. They will know Me like no other. I have set them aside for this moment. I Am breaking the generational curses off of their lives. Many within this generation have watched many sins and how they affected their families drastically. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
"Generational poverty will bow its knee to Me. I will do miracle workings within the streams of My Millennials at a level you haven't seen before. The one generation so many have tried to stop—I will remain the Father of light and Author of meaning to them. I Am setting fire to My Millennials, and I will show them what has been hidden from prior generations."
Seriously—it is time to wake up and realize that the next generation is stepping up, and if we don't guide their hearts someone or something else will. Believe me, this rattles my religious cage sometimes, and it is going to rattle yours as well. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)
