So many have been dealing with disappointments and even attacks lately.

Don't give up or retreat! You need to read this word by Christy Johnston of Australia as she shares:

I saw in my spirit how many are on the edge of their breakthrough, but are feeling the overwhelming desire to retreat. The opposition you have been facing, the disappointments, the disorientation, it has all been an attempt to deter you from the ancient wells that are within your reach.

I believe we are in a time of commissioning right now, where the Lord is assigning new mantles and assignments to His sons and daughters, and it is through these assignments that revival will be commissioned and sustained in us and through us.

"Strike Your Wells of Revival!"

The Holy Spirit has been impressing "Ancient Wells" upon my heart in recent weeks. On a morning I woke up and heard Him say, "I am calling My people to strike ancient wells of revival in this hour." I saw a vision in the spirit of a fierce battle that has been waging in the second heaven – a battle of ferocity that has been over the reclaiming of these ancient wells. Many have been finding themselves in the thick of this fight, not realizing what it was over, and many thought they had been waging an insignificant war. However, you have indeed been battling for ancient wells, though you may not have known it.

If you have found yourself in a fight of confusion, distraction and disillusionment, it is because God has marked you with revival for this very hour. The enemy sees this divine marking upon your life and has unleashed every distraction possible to try and prevent you from crossing over this threshold and reclaiming these wells. Significantly, his tactic has been to prevent you from the revelation of what you were fighting for.

Strike, Don't Retreat

You might be questioning what I mean by ancient wells. They are the wells of contending prayers of many past generations, the promises of God that are yet to be unearthed, and the wells of revival that our previous ancestors cultivated. We see all throughout Scripture how God honored the prayers of His people, long after they were gone.

Likewise, I believe that there is a window of opportunity opening to us right now, where the Father is calling you and I to strike the ground of ancient wells, ancient prayers and ancient revivals. I believe we are living in a time where we will see with our own eyes the fulfillment of prayers that were contended for long ago, and the fulfillment of revivals that died out before their time.

I keep seeing in my spirit a reawakening of revivals like Azusa Street and the Welsh Revival, to name a few. I believe the heart of God is not just to reawaken these movements, but to pour out something EVEN GREATER than what was seen there and to SUSTAIN them through us. His heart isn't just for us to recapture these wells, but to sustain them. (Photo via Pixabay)

I hear the Lord saying that you and I will get to walk in the fruits of the fulfillment of prayers that were contended for hundreds, even thousands of years ago.

I saw in my spirit how many are on the edge of their breakthrough, but are feeling the overwhelming desire to retreat. The opposition you have been facing, the disappointments, the disorientation, it has all been an attempt to deter you from the ancient wells that are within your reach.

I believe we are in a time of commissioning right now, where the Lord is assigning new mantles and assignments to His sons and daughters, and it is through these assignments that revival will be commissioned and sustained in us and through us.

There is a great repositioning happening within the Body of Christ across the earth, as the Lord is moving His children into positions of greater authority for His greater purposes. The repositioning is why you have been feeling uncomfortable, but don't give into the discomfort and run back for creature comforts. Surrender to His movements and you will see His glory poured out through you.

It's Time to Charge!

Through all of this, the Holy Spirit has been reminding me of the Battle of Beersheba in 1917. In this battle a small number of Australian and New Zealand military charged on a long-withheld Palestinian fortress, on behalf of Israel. The commander of this ANZAC army recognized their open window. No one had been able to take this ground, but his soldiers and horses were not only exhausted, they were in desperate need of water. On the other side of the garrison was Abraham's well and many other wells that were vital to their survival.

He knew it was now or never and chose to seize the moment. He commanded his cavalry to charge across the war field on horseback, straight into enemy gunfire with only their bayonets for weapons. General Grant gave the order personally to the 12th Light Horse Regiment saying, "Men, you're fighting for water. There's no water between this side of Beersheba and Esani. Use your bayonets as swords. I wish you the best of luck." Both the 4th and 12th Light Horse brigades charged on Beersheba, which sent the enemy forces that were in the trenches into a sheer panic.

No one expected a cavalry-style charge, and it is recorded that the sound of the horses hooves thundering towards them sent them into chaos and confusion. As a result, the enemy soldiers were unable to lower their aiming sights with clarity, therefore minimizing the casualties and basically giving the ANZAC armies open access to the garrison. The ANZACs were able to launch their horses over the garrison and take control of the town, and it is recorded in history books that "The success of the charge was in the shock value and sheer speed in which they took the town."

Both their sheer desperation for water and their courage allowed British troops to reclaim land on behalf of Israel and seize the well of Abraham, satisfying the thirst of the entire army. Beersheba means "Well of the Oath" or "Well of Seven." This points to the ancient wells of His promises – His oath to us for this moment in time. I believe we are in a historical time where our thirst for an outpouring is causing us to charge at the thresholds of ancient wells. I hear the Holy Spirit asking our generation, "Are you thirsty for more of Me? Are you thirsty for an outpouring? Your desperation will be seen in your charge."

Nehemiah 9:25, "They captured fortified cities and fertile land; they took possession of houses filled with all kinds of good things, wells already dug, vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees in abundance. They ate to the full and were well-nourished; they reveled in Your great goodness."

Seize the Ancient Wells

I believe we are standing at a similar window of opportunity. It is now that we charge in the spirit and reclaim what is rightfully ours. It is now that we strike on the promises that God has given us. I do, however, sense the warning of His Spirit telling us that it will require a unity of Spirit within the Church. This kind of charge will require the laying down of "self."

How exactly do we respond to all of this? How do we partner with what He is saying and asking of us? Our battle isn't one of natural means, but one that we fight in the spirit. Beersheba also means "Well of Seven." When we look at the Hebrew meaning of the number 7, we find that it means "rest, wholeness, completeness, being ripe, order, stability and holiness." It also is the number of the Temple, Adonai's House. We rest (day 7) in the finished work of the Messiah. (Photo via Pixabay)

So how do we charge while at the same time live in a place of rest? It seems almost contradictory, but it's not. It is not the kind of "rest" where we lay back and lie on a hammock sipping cocktails and wait on Him to do everything; it is the kind of rest where we are in partnership with what He has promised. It's the kind of rest where we take hold of His promises and decree them, refusing to move from peace within them.

While the world may be waging chaos all around us, with our prophetic eyes we SEE what God has promised – an outpouring of His Spirit – and we REFUSE to move from that place of rest UNTIL we see this promise fulfilled. We decree to the impossibilities and giants in front of us and declare, "THIS DAY, the Lord has given you into OUR hands. This DAY we will SEE the ancient wells burst forth with the gushing streams of His Spirit."

This kind of rest will cause rivers of His living water to bring stability where there is chaos, completeness where there is brokenness, restore order where there is disorder and holiness where there is unrighteousness running rampant in the nations.

We are living in a day where we will get to see the bursting forth of these ancient wells.

Don't Let Go Now!

You may be exhausted from holding on to the promise, but this is where you strike and keep on striking. You are on the threshold of your breakthrough, you are about to charge over enemy garrisons and reclaim your well.Don't stop declaring. Don't stop partnering with what He has promised, for you will see His deliverance. You are not contending for your ancient wells alone, but for the ancient wells of the nations. A desperate and thirsty world is crying out for an authentic outpouring of His Spirit.

A world lost in chaos and confusion, taken captive by the mindsets and lies of the enemy, is crying out and thirsting for water...the water of His Spirit. It is up to you and I to lay our lives down and press into the longings of His Spirit, press into His promises and CHARGE on what is rightfully ours. These ancient wells are promises stored up in the heavenly realm for you, for your family, for your children and your children's children. When you strike the ground for them, you are going to see His Spirit pour out over your life and the lives of those around you.

The nations are waiting to drink from the rivers of His living water THROUGH YOUR LIFE. Are you willing to lay everything down for this cause of seeing His ancient wells bursting through you? The time is now! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

"AWAKE AWAKE, O DAUGHTER of ZION. ARISE! Come out of hiding. Shake off the ashes. Look around and see that I have made you VICTORIOUS, O beautiful one! REJOICE greatly. SHOUT ALOUD! For I am here. I am your victory. I have called you as a reformer. I have made you like the sword of a warrior. You are My mighty WEAPON."

"The Lion is Roaring: It is Your Time to Arise!"

All week long, the Holy Spirit has been burning this phrase into my spirit, "My daughters are rising." These words have been consuming my heart like a battle cry, and I can feel the fiery passion of a loving and protective Father calling out to His daughters, "It is your time to ARISE." I can sense the compassion in His tone for those who have endured much, but I can also sense the urgency in His decree: "It is time to arise, mighty daughters. I am picking you up out of the ashes. It is time to shake off the dust." The Holy Spirit led me to a few verses in Zechariah 9 that spoke deeply to me. In verse 8 (the Amplified) it says:

"You are called, purposed and equipped to slay demonic principalities, restoring His righteousness to the land."

"Then I will camp around My house [as a guard] because of an army,
Because of him who passes by and returns;
And no oppressor will again overrun them (Israel),
For now, My eyes are upon them [providentially protecting them]."

Vision of a Toothless Lion

As I read this verse, I saw in a vision a picture of one who was like a disfigured lion with no teeth, chasing the daughters of God in relentless pursuit. I saw the King's daughters being chased by this mangled and toothless lion into a desert wasteland. He was seeking to devour them and they were running in fear of him, though he had no ability to bite. They had been running a long time, and were exhausted and weary as they dragged their feet across the hot desert sands. Tired and with no fight left in them, they were seeking shelter in hidden caves.

I could see that there were vast numbers of the King's daughters in this desert, but they had been separated and isolated, each to their own cave, shivering in corners and huddled up in fetal positions. They looked battle-weary with mud and blood covering their faces from their long pursuit. I saw again the one who appeared like a disfigured lion. He was now pacing back and forth at the front of their caves, roaring fiercely as he patrolled the entrances where they hid. I saw the King's daughters cowering in intimidation as they peered outside their caves in fear of this enemy. Within the vision, I became indignantly angry; a righteous anger arose within me while I watched this unjust scene unfolding. I cried out, "GOD ARISE! LET HIS ENEMIES BE SCATTERED!"

The True Lion Emerges

At that moment, a mighty, rushing wind picked up from within the desert; and there, within the wind, I saw the TRUE Lion emerge. His eyes were blazing, like hot coals of fire. His very presence commanded a shift in the atmosphere with unspoken authority. He began to walk toward the caves where His daughters were hiding, and as each powerful paw hit the ground, a quaking could be felt across the desert sands. I watched the one like a disfigured lion begin to grow nervous as the true Lion approached. The wind continued to surround the true Lion and it began to spread to every cave where the daughters were dwelling. Within the wind, a voice came to each daughter in hiding, "THIS IS NOT WHO YOU ARE. ARISE."

At that moment, the true Lion lifted up His head and released a mighty, thunderous roar that split the air in two. I saw the sky itself split into two, and suddenly, it was as though the daughters' eyes were opened. Before, where they could only see a mutilated, but intimidating, lion chasing and surrounding them, the roar of the true Lion now revealed the scene for what it really was. When the sky split, the enemy's identity was revealed as a defeated and cowering foe. They could now see clearly that he was toothless and much smaller than he at first appeared. (Photo via Unsplash)

The daughters arose as the wind rushed over them, releasing within them a renewed strength and fight. One by one, they began to emerge from their caves, looking upon the horizon where their King-Lion stood. With His glorious mane flowing majestically in the wind, He called out to them, "Come, daughters, ARISE. Take the swords before you and defeat this notorious, counterfeit lion, for today I have given you the victory." As the King's daughters looked down, they realized at the foot of their caves lay swords. They picked up the swords and began to shout in triumph as they ran out of their caves in vast numbers, pursuing the enemy until he could no longer be seen.

As this incredible vision ended, I began to read with tears streaming down my face what follows on from Zechariah 9:8. Verses 9-13 read:

"Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion!
Shout aloud, O Daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King (Messianic King) is coming to you;
He is righteous and endowed with salvation,
Humble and unassuming [in submission to the will of the Father] and riding on a donkey,
Upon a colt, the foal of a donkey.

"I will cut off the [war] chariot from Ephraim
And the [war] horse from Jerusalem,
And the bow of war will be cut off.
And He will speak [words of] peace to the nations,
And His dominion shall be from sea to sea [absolutely endless],
And from the River [Euphrates] to the ends of the earth.

"It is time to arise, mighty daughters. I am picking you up out of the ashes. It is time to shake off the dust."

"As for you also, because of the Blood of My covenant with you [My chosen people, the covenant that was sealed with Blood]
I have freed your prisoners from the waterless pit.

"Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], O prisoners who have the hope;
Even today I am declaring that I will restore double [your former prosperity] to you [as firstborn among nations].

"For I will bend Judah as My bow,
I will fit the bow with Ephraim [as My arrow].
And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece,
And will make you [Israel] like the sword of a warrior."

Come Out of Hiding

I believe the word of the Lord in this hour for His daughters is found in these very verses. Where many of you have found yourselves in relentless warfare, oppressed and hiding away in caves of a waterless pit, Jesus, your King-Lion, is releasing a deep and prolonged roar over you today. He is calling you out of the cave that has held you captive and in fear. He is revealing the true identity of the deceitful, toothless lion, and He is reminding you of the weapons that you carry. He is awakening the warrior-daughter within, for He has given you ALL power and authority in Heaven and on the earth. He is decreeing with an ear-splitting and resounding roar:

"AWAKE AWAKE, O DAUGHTER of ZION. ARISE! Come out of hiding. Shake off the ashes. Look around and see that I have made you VICTORIOUS, O beautiful one! REJOICE greatly. SHOUT ALOUD! For I am here. I am your victory. I have called you as a reformer. I have made you like the sword of a warrior. You are My mighty WEAPON."

Called to Take Down the Giants of the Land

He is your providential protection, He is the Lord strong and mighty in battle, and He has given you this day victory over your enemy. Now, PURSUE what has pursued you. Take back the captive children who have been enslaved by the enemy's tyrant rule. I see multitudes of daughters awakening as they read this word, and I see them running in relentless pursuit of what has tried to consume them. I see that the Father has given them KEYS and STRATEGIES to disarm and dismantle the enemies' oppression. I see long-withstanding strongholds breaking as they strike the enemy with the brutal force of their God-given authority.

I see the King's daughters marching into a fresh and new governmental authority in this specific moment in time. Where their voices have been silenced or oppressed for generations, they will be instrumental in ushering in this long-awaited, mighty move of God that is beginning to sweep across the earth. They will march hand in hand with their men, and together, they will see cities restored.

God is raising up His daughters in strength and in unequaled numbers in this hour, for the enemy has once again blinded the daughters of the earth in a new-found oppression of feminism. However, God's daughters will move in unrivaled, supernatural power, marching to Heaven's beat of justice and purity; daughters of the Cross, consumed with the love of their King. They will together see giants fall and nations surrender to the glory of Jesus. (Photo via Pixabay)

I see the Lion of Judah both smiling and roaring in fierceness behind you today, beloved daughters. You are called, purposed and equipped to slay demonic principalities, restoring His righteousness to the land. He is with you. Now is the time, now is your hour. Daughters, arise! As we watch the news, we know just how important the Midterm elections are...which are coming up in November.

Church, this is our time to pray for our nation with our God-given authority.

"The Media Giants are Falling! A Call to Militant Intercession and for the Midterms"

On a recent night, I had a vivid and urgent dream that I have been stirred in my spirit to share. I believe this dream is an intercessory key for us to stand together and contend, praying direct and targeted prayers for the United States of America, President Trump and the Midterm Elections. This dream is powerfully prophetic, pointing to a coming fall of the giants in the land.

In 1 Timothy 1, Paul exhorts his spiritual son Timothy to hold tight to the prophecies spoken over his life, and in verse 19 he writes, "With this encouragement use your prophecies as weapons as you wage spiritual warfare by faith and with a clean conscience. For there are many who reject these virtues and are now destitute of the true faith..." (TPT). I want to empower you with this truth: Prophecy is a weapon to wage war with.

The prophetic words spoken over our lives individually, and over our nations are a spiritual weapon to seize and decree until we see them take effect in the natural. We have the privilege of decreeing the Word of the Lord over situations and then watching His glory manifest through our partnership with His spoken Word. I encourage you to seize hold of this prophetic dream for the mountain of media, for the president of the US, and for the nations who have been under the siege of the media.

A Peculiar Ceremony

"Without the Spirit of the Lord, it is virtually impossible to determine what truth actually is, which is why it is imperative for Christians to be spending daily time in the Word with the Holy Spirit to truly be able to "see" what is taking place."

In the dream, I was standing on the second floor in the middle of the White House and I was praying. There were many people rushing to and fro all around me and they were hurriedly making their way outside to join a ceremony that was about to begin. From where I was standing, I was able to clearly see the south lawn where many people were gathered to take part. I then heard the sound of trumpets as they heralded in the beginning of this ceremony. The atmosphere was electric with excitement.

Intrigued, I slowly began making my way to the balcony that overlooked the lawn to observe the ceremony. (Having never been in the White House before, and as an Aussie who does not have a whole lot of knowledge pertaining to the White House, I had to look up which balcony I saw in my dream and found that it was the Truman Balcony.) As I looked over the Truman balcony, I watched on as the ceremony began and I recognized it was one of celebration. Strangely enough, though, I quickly realized what it was all about. Two very prominent talk-show hosts were front and center, and they were in prison uniforms with handcuffs tied to their hands. This ceremony was their sentencing.

At that moment, I heard a loud and audible voice booming from Heaven, "Let My justice prevail." I continued to watch this ceremony as a list of their convictions were read, detailing their many offenses and the sentence that was to follow. The odd thing was, this was a celebration, but as the sentencing went on for quite some time, my eyes were drawn to the two talk-show hosts and I began weeping for them. I suddenly felt the heart of the Father for them and in this dream, I began to intercede on their behalf.

As the long list of their offenses were continuing to be read, I felt excitement that their tyranny was now at a close, yet at the same time, I felt deep sadness for them as individuals. I was able to recognize that they had simply been puppets at the hand of the enemy and so I wept for them. They both looked my way and stared directly into my eyes, I could sense their grief over the sentence. I then watched as this ceremony came to a close and there was an uproarious celebration as the people cried out in one accord: "The moguls have fallen! The moguls have fallen!"

As I woke up and sought the Father for the interpretation of this dream, I immediately turned in Scripture to Isaiah 48:14-16 in the amplified. It says, "Assemble yourselves, all of you, and hear! Who among them [the gods and Chaldean astrologers] has foretold these things? The Lord has loved him [Cyrus of Persia]; he will do His pleasure and purpose on Babylon, and his arm will be against the Chaldeans. I, even I, have foretold it; yes, I have called him [Cyrus]; I have brought him, and the Lord shall make his way prosperous. Come near to me and listen to this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it happened, I was there..." (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)

The Media Mountain of Babylon

Immediately, I understood what it all meant. I want to first highlight above all else, there is a key in the first sentence of that Scripture. It is a charge of the Lord to us, the Church: "Assemble yourselves, ALL of you!" It is a charge of unity to come together as one and pray and listen to what the Father is speaking, putting aside our differences and agendas for the sake of His agenda. The Chaldean astrologers in the Scripture above represent the two talk show hosts, or the media mountain, which is also "Babylon." Note how the Father asks them, "Who among them has foretold these things?" Though the media "predicts" they cannot see what the Father is doing.

The fact that there were two talk show hosts in my dream conveys another insight. The number two in Hebrew means division and separation. Prophetically speaking, I believe this could signify that there will be a division between media giants that will cause their very downfall. A separation of the ranks, so to speak, will break their associations and agreements. And just as Jehoshaphat watched his enemies fight amongst themselves, we will begin to watch as their own confusion they have caused will descend within their walls.

In Isaiah 22:22, it says, "And the key of the House of David I will lay upon His shoulder; so He shall open, and non shall shut, and He shall shut, and non shall open." Up until now, the media have "perceived" that they have all power and authority – opening and closing doorways to whomever they choose – silencing whomever they wish, but this is about to be exposed and come crashing down as the Father is decreeing from the heavens, "Let My justice prevail!" Nothing and no one can stand in His way, nor silence Him and His people. The media does not hold the key of the house of David. The name Babylon literally means "confusion (by mixing)." The media today, as we well know, mixes a measure of "truth" with lies, bringing forth widespread confusion.

"I want to empower you with this truth: Prophecy is a weapon to wage war with."

Without the Spirit of the Lord, it is virtually impossible to determine what truth actually is, which is why it is imperative for Christians to be spending daily time in the Word with the Holy Spirit to truly be able to "see" what is taking place. These media moguls are possessed with the mindset of the enemy to rob truth and peace from the hearts of the nations, twisting mindsets with their lies, and then gripping them in a tight hold of possession. Remember though, we are not warring against them, but the principalities behind them. We need to remember who the true enemy is and take our battle up higher.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12)

Babylon Will Fall

Lance Wallnau first prophesied that President Trump would be as a modern-day Cyrus. The fact this dream took place in the White House is a significant sign that God is bringing forth justice in the presence of the People's House. I believe it also represents the mid-terms. The ceremony itself points to a "holding" of the fort, a celebration as the giants fall. The Father is cleansing the lies and bringing hidden darkness to light. His hand is upon Cyrus and there will be great celebration at the ceremony of the moguls' downfall – the midterms.

One other interesting point is that Cyrus of old was from Persia, which means, "That cuts or divides." It doesn't take much to recognize that Trump has been a threshing instrument to cut through the lies and to divide and separate that which has been secretly hidden and destroying the nation for too long. He was not anointed as a pastor, but as an instrument to cut and divide in order to expose.

Another interesting find in relation to the dream was what I discovered about the Truman balcony. It was a very prominent feature of my dream, and I found that in the same year of the balcony's establishment, a very prominent media outlet was also established. As I was standing on the balcony looking down at the sentencing, it points to our "standing" on victory over the enemy's lies and establishments.

Sound the Trumpets

The trumpets in my dream heralded the beginning of this ceremony of the sentence, the mid-terms. I believe the sound of the trumpets represents the Body of Christ releasing this very proclamation of prophecy: "Let the justice of our God prevail. The moguls are about to fall. Babylon will fall." It is a sound of EVERY voice arising together in unity and shouting that our God will prevail. Our God is above every other name! (Photo via Unsplash)

I prophesy that we are going to witness the effects of Zechariah 4:6 where it says, "So He said to me, 'This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the LORD Almighty.'" The Father's justice will prevail. The giants will fall by the strength and power of His Spirit. I believe the Holy Spirit is inviting us in this unique time in history to partner with His proclamation and by faith, take back the nations who have been under the tyranny of confusion. I also feel strongly that it is our responsibility to pray and intercede for President Trump because what happens to America spreads globally.

We also need to be praying on behalf of the people in the media and within governmental ranks that the enemy is manipulating for his benefit. God's heart is for them, just as much as His heart burns for you and I, and He desires to see them freed from the chains of the enemy and restored to His heart. Will you join me in standing in agreement? Will you decree with me, "Let the justice of our God prevail!" Let our battle cries be heard in the heavens as our united shouts of decrees unleash the forces of Heaven to wage war on our behalf.

Prayer Strategies and Keys for Militant Intercession:

1. Pray that any hidden agendas within the media would be exposed (Daniel 2:22).

2. Decree justice over the United States, the president and over the nations.

3. Use this prophecy and others as your weapons (1 Timothy 1:19 and pray Psalm 58).

4. Pray daily protection over President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and their families (Psalm 91).

5. Fast as the Holy Spirit leads you.

6. UNITE with other Christians, refrain from criticizing with your words.

God loves Israel and they are highly favored from Him.

As Israel is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year of becoming their own country...there is much to be praying for and speaking over this God-blessed land.

Christy Johnston of Australia had an awesome dream encounter with the Lord and shares:

This year marks the 70th year of independence for the nation of Israel. Significantly, the number 70 is prophetic for freedom and the fulfillment of a time or cycle. I believe this remarkable season of time is where the Father is calling out to Israel to experience their TRUE freedom in the revelation of Yeshua. I believe we, as His adopted sons and daughters, are to call their hearts to awaken to His name.

We are heading to Israel ourselves in June on this 70th year for our Elijah List Prophetic Israel Tour with Lance Wallnau and Steve Swanson...we can't wait! It's going to be a significant time to be there!

"Call Them Home: A New Day for the Nation of Israel!"

I had a powerful encounter dream recently that has branded my heart in ways I was not expecting. In the dream, I was standing in a downpour of rain, when suddenly I saw Jesus standing directly in front of me. The interesting thing was He was not simply standing in the rain, He WAS the rain. His beautiful face had formed through the droplets falling in front of me. I sensed such a powerful authority as He then spoke to me very clearly, and with a profound weightiness. He spoke this three times and said, "Christy, they will hear My name in the rain. They will hear My name in the rain. They will hear My name in the rain."

The Latter Rain

"He is stirring the hearts of the nation of Israel and those of the lost and positioning them to reap a harvest of souls like we have never seen before."

Instinctively, I knew in this dream that He was referring to the nation of Israel, the Jewish people. It was at that very moment that I woke up to the sound of a thunderous downpour of rain falling heavily upon our roof and I began weeping. His presence in this dream had so overwhelmed me as He had pierced my heart with an intense intercession for the nation of Israel. I began crying out for them in the middle of the night. The Holy Spirit then led me to Hosea 6:3 which says:

"Yes, let us know (recognize, be acquainted with, and understand) Him; let us be zealous to know the Lord (to appreciate, give heed to, and cherish Him). His going forth is prepared and certain as the dawn, and He will come to us as the heavy rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth."

I believe that Jesus is declaring it is a time of rain on the dry hearts of those who don't yet know Him, including the people of Israel.

Harvest Over Israel

He also led me to Isaiah 55:10-11: "For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it to bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void (without producing any effect, useless), but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Photo via Unsplash)

These two Scriptures both point prophetically to harvest. I believe the significance of this dream was speaking of the latter rain – the harvest rain that has been long prophesied. The Holy Spirit is moving in power in these days as the latter rain begins to fall. It's the rain of the outpouring of His Spirit, whereby the nation of Israel and those who have been lost, will recognize the name of Jesus in the harvest. They will recognize His name as the rain of His Spirit pours forth across the earth over His sons and daughters. They will see His name in us.

As Isaiah 55:10-11 mentions both the rain and the Word, I recognize that the Father is speaking here of Jesus. Jesus is the Word made manifest and He is the "Lord of the Harvest." He is stirring the hearts of the nation of Israel and those of the lost, and positioning them to reap a harvest of souls like we have never seen before.

Out of Captivity – A New Day for the Nation of Israel

"I believe that Jesus is declaring it is a time of rain on the dry hearts of those who don't yet know Him, including the people of Israel."

I believe we, as His adopted sons and daughters, are to call their hearts to awaken to His name.

Recently, I have discovered a wealth of testimonial videos where Messianic Jews are sharing their experience of discovering Isaiah 53 and the revelation of Yeshua in this chapter. I feel strongly to call upon the intercession of the Church to pray to awaken the heart of Israel, in their 70th year of freedom, to the revelation of His name and the righteousness of His person. Just as Hosea 6:3 states, I pray they would recognize and hear His name in the rain that pours forth across the earth in this time of increased harvest.

Israel has just entered into a new era where things will begin to accelerate and be fast-tracked. God's heart for His people is to see them come into the fullness of their destiny as the marker for the nations on the earth. It's a time that the Father is calling this great nation out of spiritual drought and captivity into TRUE freedom in the revelation of Yeshua as their awaited Messiah and Savior. There is a major awakening that is beginning to emerge where the veil that has kept His people in the dark is being removed and they will encounter Jesus in a powerful way, sending waves of healing and truth throughout the land. It is a new day for the nation of Israel.

A Call of Intercession for Israel and the Lost

I feel to release a call of intercession for Israel. I want to ask you to intercede for Israel with me. As they celebrate the significance of their freedom, I believe the Holy Spirit is releasing a CALL to PRAY for their salvation. A call to pray and CALL THEM HOME! I heard the Holy Spirit speak to my heart, "As you pray for My beloved Israel and call them home, I will rain upon the hearts of your beloved ones and call them home also." (Photo via Unsplash)

I believe this call of intercession will release a double portion effect of freedom. Freedom from captivity for not only the sons and daughters of Israel, but for our own sons and daughters as well. It is the showering rain of harvest upon the entire earth as the Holy Spirit covers the earth with the latter rain. Will you pray with me?

Pray for the hearts of Israel to awaken to the truth of Yeshua. Pray for their protection in this time of increased opposition. Pray for them to recognize His name in the rain. Call home the sons and daughters who have walked away from the truth – both of Israel and our own loved ones.

I encourage you to write, "I AM CALLING THEM HOME" as a declaration that you are standing with Israel in prayer. I also ask you to WRITE the names of your own family members who you are calling home as a declaration of their hearts awakening to Jesus. Let's CALL UPON THE HARVEST RAIN TOGETHER!
