When Beth Eckert traded her witchcraft for salvation, God began to reveal deep things of His spirit to her.
The further she dives into her inner healing, the more God seems to expose how evil and darkness hide in plain sight.
"You can be a part of the kingdom of darkness and not even know all the secrets," Eckert says in a recent video. " ... You can be indoctrinated into the occult and not even know the secret workings of the occult."

Ex-witch Beth Eckert says God is revealing the secret things of Leviathan to her so that she may share them with us.
"Leviathan is a principality, which is also known as a territorial spirit," Eckert says. "... That tells us that principalities are a supreme power, a chief ruler or a prince."

Beth, of the blog The Other Side of Darkness, was a practicing witch until the cross transformed her life.
Now, the Spirit-filled believer is out to share the good news of how others can connect to God through the gifts of the Spirit, particularly praying in tongues as described in 1 Corinthians 14.
"Speaking in tongues can scare people," Beth says in a recent video. "I mean, we don't understand what is being said. God understands, and angels and demons understand."
While our minds can't comprehend, our spirits can. And though the gift can be a bit confusing, it has several benefits for both the speaker and those around them.

Yoga is a form of spiritual alignment with the Hindu goddess Shakti, ex-witch Beth Eckert says in a new video.
"I know that there is such a huge controversy around yoga," Eckert says. "If you look at yoga, it just seems like this great way to get healthy and align your body and your spirit and stretch, and people just absolutely love it."
Channeling energy is an age-old occult practice. Demons use energy as one of the ways they can move from place to place. They use this energy movement to transfer from person to person, person to object, etc. It is a form of witchcraft, and it is not a practice that brings a person into alignment with the Spirit of God. Even meditation is a form of moving energy as you are trying to move your energy into a certain direction, thought pattern or process in order to gain something. That is witchcraft.
Doing these Eastern spiritual practices is aligning yourself with the kingdom of darkness. It is practicing inviting the demonic into your being and into your life. It can cause great harm to your physical being as well as your spiritual being. Once you bring these practices into your life, you are also inviting these demonic entities into your home and your family. Yoga in particular is very dangerous because of the momentum it has gained in our world today, even within the Christian church.
Eckert says some yoga-based practices were even used in ritual Satanic abuse against her.

When ex-witch Beth turned away from darkness and handed her life over to Christ, she had to deal with the torment of her past, including ritual satanic abuse.
The catch is, she was unaware at the time of just how deceived she was.
"There are many in this world who would believe that this sort of thing never happens. Then there are others who would believe this only happens in 'satanic churches' or other such evil places. All would most definitely assume that it would never happen right in their own neighborhood, by people they know, who are Christian. That is how the devil deceives the masses daily," Beth shares in a recent blog post.
However, as children of God, we know Satan is the father of lies.

Ex-Witch Reveals: Is It a Spiritual Attack or Demonic Oppression?
Ephesians 6:12 reveals the reality for all believers: that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and the rulers of darkness within the world.
Often, their war plans remain invisible to the naked eye, and believers are left to deduce they are under spiritual warfare.
But the types of warfare vary: Is it demonic oppression or a spiritual attack? Ex-witch Beth explains more on her blog:
Attack: 1) to set upon in a forceful, violent, hostile, or aggressive way, with or without a weapon; begin fighting with; 2) to begin hostilities against; start an offensive against; 3) to blame or abuse violently or bitterly; 4) to direct unfavorable criticism against; criticize severely; argue with strongly; 5) to try to destroy, especially with verbal abuse. Does that sound familiar to you? The devil is our enemy, and he is the accuser and the father of lies. He tries to destroy us in an aggressive way, and uses blame, criticism and verbal abuse as part of his attacks.
Then:
Oppression: 1) the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner; 2) an act or instance of oppressing or subjecting to cruel or unjust impositions or restraints; 3) the state of being oppressed; 4) the feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally or physically, by troubles, adverse conditions, anxiety, etc.

Ex-Witch: How Tattoos Relate to Occultic Blood Rituals

As old-school theologians and hipster believers debate the biblical commands not to tattoo the body, a deeper truth lurks.
Ex-witch Beth, who herself has a handful of tattoos, says one cannot ignore the similarities to occult blood rituals.
"A blood ritual is a satanic ritual that is done as a covenant or pact. There are at least two people involved in this type of ritual. The person who is shedding their own blood, and the person who is invoking a demon and its power," Beth writes on her blog, The Other Side of Darkness.
"The person who is shedding their blood is the recipient in this transaction. They are giving their blood (life) in order to receive some sort of benefit, such as life, prosperity, fame, fortune or power. The cuts are now an open doorway for the entrance of evil spirits (demons) (that) you have granted permission. By agreeing to and participating in the shedding of your blood, you have (given) the devil a right to you. Often people who participate in a blood ritual also give over rights to future generations," she continues.
Beth recognizes a tattooed body is not necessarily one and the same as blood rituals. Even Christians who passionately serve Jesus have tattoos to mark their faith.
But one cannot ignore the parallels between tattoos and blood rituals.
"However, you are piercing your skin with a needle between 50 to 3,00 times a minute. You are also shedding your blood, and you are making a choice to pierce your skin and shed your blood," Beth writes.
"You also have to consider the person who is doing the tattoo. Where are they at religiously or spiritually? If they are another religion or hold spiritual beliefs of the New Age or occult, what does the tattoo mean to them? The one who holds the tattoo gun is the one who is shedding your blood. That is a very powerful position over you. If they are praying over you to their god or goddess, how does that affect you while you are openly submitting to them shedding your blood? Does it really matter if your tattoo is of a cross or a Bible verse in this case?"

Ex-Witch Reveals How the Occult Is Affecting Your Life Every Day
Hidden magic, astrology, supernatural powers or agencies, also known as the occult, has slithered its way into society with little fanfare.
Just as terrifying is how many in today's culture consider the elements of witchcraft practically mundane.
In a recent video blog, ex-witch Beth gave a rundown of some of these items, including horoscopes, fortune telling, contacting the dead, speaking to the dead, Ouija boards, chakras, channeling energy, yoga and incantations, among others.
"When each time they do witchcraft they are inviting in demon spirits. Each spirit brings something in with it to connect them within your person. This could be false beliefs or sickness or addiction, etc. More importantly, it causes you to feel that you have tapped in to a power, which you have. The power of the demonic (aka the occult or witchcraft). You feel the power in some way or another. It may be a high, a surge, a force and "awakening" or something similar. This feeling is incredibly satisfying to our senses and fleshly ways and it creates a desire within us to continue to do it. So the person wants to delve deeper into the witchcraft practice, to reach higher levels of this power they have experienced," Beth writes in her blog.
"What is actually happening is they are granting more and more access to the depths of their soul to the demonic, giving them more and more rights into them. Rights are permissions to use our bodies for their works and feed our soul with their beliefs and demonic spirits. Satan wants us to become portals for his evil work. Once (give) we him access, we are connected to his power, and he sets up things inside of us that can work without our conscious knowledge. So basically, we are actually doing witchcraft and we are not even aware of it. The connection has been made and we have done it on our own free will."
