Brad Stine - comedian in support of Israel speaking at NRB - PJTN dinner

Brad Stine - comedian in support of Israel
Speaking at NRB - PJTN dinner
Feb. 25, 2016  Nashville, TN

It was a true joy listening to Brad Stine for the first time at the Proclaiming Justice To The Nations dinner at the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) convention in Nashville, TN. He is funny!

After watching a brief presentation of the 2016 PJTN video "Hating Israel: In Search of the Truth Behind BDS" (which I am really looking forward to seeing the full video), he came out on stage and did a 15 minute comedy routine. Loved it!

I was able to record most of it from our table in the middle of the room, filled with several 100 people.

It was also a great joy to have so many present from Jerusalem. We sat a a table with Bruce Mills, deacon at the Jerusalem Baptist Church. Also present was the former director of ICEJ (International Christian Embassy Jerusalem), the director of Yad Vashem, and staff from Christian Friends of Israel. Jeffrey Levinson of GODTV was a panelist during one segment of the 2.5 hour evening.

PROCLAIMING JUSTICE TO THE NATIONS - Personal message from Laurie Cardoza-Moore

Laurie Cardoza-Moore

Israel and our Jewish brethren have been through extremely challenging times this year.  With a rise of global, genocidal anti-Semitism, our response at PJTN has dramatically risen as well.

I am reminded in Leviticus 19:16"You shall not stand aside while your brother's blood is being shed."

Because of your past financial support:
  • We were able to reach Christians in over 200 countries and 900 million homes through the distribution of our award-winning films and programs at our annual event at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention (NRB)
  • We were able to reach Christian ambassadors, delegates and staffers at our annual UN symposium in New York
  • Our anti-BDS global campaign spread to 45 states and 9 countries
  • We were able to educate and mobilize more parents/citizens to action through our K-12 initiative, exposing the anti-Semitic, anti-Judeo/Christian, pro-Islamic indoctrination in our children's textbooks throughout the U.S.

But we can't stop now!

That is why I am personally contacting you today.

With the end of the year fast approaching, I am asking you to help us with a generous end-of-the-year donation.   The threats we are facing with our Jewish brethren and Israel are facing are real.  Will you stand with PJTN too?

FIVE US CONGRESSMEN TAKE PART IN BIPARTISAN FACT FINDING MISSION TO ISRAEL DESPITE ONGOING VIOLENCE

pree release
FIVE US CONGRESSMEN TAKE PART IN BIPARTISAN FACT FINDING MISSION TO ISRAEL DESPITE ONGOING VIOLENCE
"THE ISRAELIS HAVE BEEN ATTACKED, LIED TO AND ABUSED. THEY ARE NOT THE PROBLEM AND AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT HEARING THAT MESSAGE" REP. ALAN LOWENTHAL, D-CA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JERUSALEM- (19/10/15) A bipartisan group of five US congressmen spent the last week touring Israel, despite the daily terrorist attacks and deteriorating security situation. Rep. Alan Lowenthal D-CA, Rep. Jim Jordan R-OH, Rep. Scott Garrett R-NJ, Rep. Raoul Labrador R-ID and Rep. Mark Meadows R-NC traveled across the country to learn the facts behind the headlines and pledge their support to the Jewish state in these challenging times. The educational trip was sponsored by Proclaiming Justice to the Nations and hosted by Yes! Israel.

Highlights of the jam-packed schedule included briefings with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yaalom, a strategic helicopter tour with the Israeli Air Force, a visit to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, meetings with Israelis and Palestinians in Gush Etzion to discuss co-existence, a visit to the war- torn city of Sderot, as well as tours of ancient Shiloh, Ariel University and high-level briefings at the Israeli Knesset with a range of Israeli lawmakers. The congressmen also spent time connecting with ex-pats along the way, especially at a Town Hall meeting in Jerusalem that attracted around 200 Israeli-Americans.

During the town hall meeting last night, which was held at the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel, the congressmen expressed their impressions from their trip:

Rep. Alan Lowenthal declared, "Whether it is the distortion about the Temple Mount or settlements, the hatred goes way beyond that. This has been the historical denial of the Jewish people to have their own homeland. I think that the critical issue is the historic denial and refusal to acknowledge Israel as a Jewish state... the Israelis have been attacked, lied to and abused. They are not the problem. And the American people are not hearing that message."

Rep. Mark Meadows commented, "What was interesting to me was the amount of conflict and potential conflict that was being avoided (in Hebron) because we had IDF troops there going through and defending. What has become normal for many of you who live here is very abnormal for us. When you see people carrying weapons, travelling with security, you take it as everyday life. The IDF has shown great restraint."

Rep. Scott Garett stated, "Each trip is an eye-opening and heart confirming experience, from a personal and religious point of view. We have a true love for Israel...Administrations come and go, but when it comes to the house that I serve, it has always been a strong bipartisan experience in support of Israel. "

Rep. Jim Jordan explained, "Every time we come here, there is always one consistent message: The best way the USA can help Israel is for America to staystrong. When America is strong, the world is safer and better. "

Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, the US based Christian organization that sponsored the trip, commented: "There is no better way to learn about Israel and the Jewish people than walking in the Land of Israel, meeting the people and understanding the threats faced by Israelis on a daily basis, no matter how many times one visits the Holyland, there is always more to learn."

Ruth Lieberman, President of Yes! Israel Mission commented: "Our friendships are strong. Our values are shared. We use these trips to strengthen resolve and educate, to deepen relationships and work together for Israel. This mission, of course, was affected by current events - from the morning they touched down - but we stuck to our schedule and the Congressmen were powerfully moved by the difference between what the media says how it really is on the ground. They also pushed back against State Department criticism this week, ridiculously accusing Israel of using 'excessive force' in fighting this wave of terror."

Lieberman added: "The Yes! Israel Mission is bipartisan, pushing to support Israel unequivocably, and our friend Alan Lowenthal agreed: 'It was a very powerful experience. I saw things I never knew. I will always stand up loudly in support of Israel."

Lieberman went on to stress: "The Prime Minister continues to encourage our Yes! Israel missions with PJTN, to see the land and meet the people. We are proud to work with the leaders of Israel and in Congress on behalf of a stronger relationship."

The mission of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations is to educate Christians about their biblical responsibility to stand with our Jewish brethren and Israel against the rise of global genocidal anti-Semitism. Whether it is in the halls of the United Nations, the U.S. Congress, our state legislatures, or our local school boards, PJTN is committed to reminding Christians to stand against this growing threat.

'Indivisible' Film Tackles Crusade to Destroy Israel - Laurie Cardozza Moore

'Indivisible' Film Tackles

Crusade to Destroy Israel

Chris Mitchell ARIEL, Israel -- Does the modern State of Israel have a right to the land on which it exists? Do the Palestinians? A new documentary tackles those questions and the longest-running conflict in the Middle East.

"Israel Indivisible: A Case for the Ancient Homeland" highlights Israel's latest challenge.

"Today the world media has joined the Islamic campaign to extinguish Jewish history as part of their effort to delegitimize and destroy the Jewish state," producer Laurie Cardozza Moore told CBN News.

The film lays out a compelling and comprehensive case for Israel's right to the land.

"The evidence for Israel is overwhelming," Cardoza continued. "From archeological science to historical record to biblical scriptures to political resolutions and laws, there should be no dispute to the rights of the Jewish people to all the land the Roman Empire called Palestine."

The producers chose to premier the film in a symbolic site -- Ariel, the center of Israel's biblical heartland. At the premier, the film's producers shared what motivated them.

"The goal is to educate Christians to bring this message because this message is being distorted, and there are lies being propagated about Israel and this whole Middle East conflict," Moore explained.

"I feel what we're doing at PJTN is just coming alongside God's biblical narrative and telling a story that nobody seems to want to tell and then using the film, using the program, to mobilize Christians to action to stand with our Jewish brethren."

Many Jews believe disinformation is one of the main weapons used against the Jewish state.

"The first step in -- God forbid -- the physical destruction of the State of Israel is the intellectual destruction undermining the whole reason for being of the Jewish state of legitimacy," Rabbi Ken Spiro said.

The film unmasks some common misconceptions in this disinformation campaign, such as the term, "West Bank."

"Why is it called the West Bank?" filmmaker Stan Moore asks. "It's called the West Bank because when Jordan, basically in 1948, when they took it over they called it the West Bank of their country, the West Bank of the Jordan River. They named it the West Bank. You know for centuries, forever, it's [this area] been called Judea and Samaria."

Many see the film as a tool to give Israel's supporters the facts they need in this battle.

"And if they don't have the facts at hand, they become apologetic. The minute they become apologetic, they lose the argument," Dr. Shmuel Katz explained. "They need to be knowledgeable. Once they are knowledgeable, they can stand up for what's right."

Rabbi Spiro sees the information as the first line of defense not only for Israel, but also for the West.

"It's not only threatening Israel. [It's threatening] the whole foundation of Western civilization," he warned. "So movies like this -- that present information and facts -- are the most basic and powerful tool we have. Not just the case for Israel, but for the case for truth."

MEDIA ALERT! - Israel Boycott Rejected

MEDIA ALERT!

PROCLAIMING JUSTICE TO THE NATIONS FOUNDER BRINGS  NATIONAL ATTENTION TO PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH USA GENERAL ASSEMBLY VOTE AGAINST DIVESTMENT EFFORT

Laurie Cardoza-Moore

July 11, 2012 - (Nashville, TN) Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder and President of Proclaiming Justice To the Nations (PJTN) issued a statement today commending the Presbyterian Church USA General Assembly for rejecting an effort to boycott a slate of US companies doing business in Israel.  She went on to voice a note of condemnation for their vote to boycott Israeli products.

Last Thursday, the Presbyterian Church USA's Committee on Mission Responsibility Through Investment (MRTI) was hoping to complete a process, which began at the 2004 General Assembly to recommend the PCUSA divest itself of stock in Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard and Motorola Solutions, suggesting that they are "profiting from non-peaceful pursuits in Israel-Palestine." On Friday the General Assembly voted in favor of a boycott of "all Israeli products coming from 'occupied' Palestinian Territories."

"As a Christian leader, I am extremely disturbed by the blatant lies and misrepresentation of the facts on the ground coming from leaders of the Presbyterian Church USA," noted Ms.  Cardoza-Moore in a press statement. "The Bible is very clear, Israel is living in the land that God gave to her ancestors dating back to the time of Joshua."

Ms. Cardoza-Moore, who serves an appointment as a Special Envoy to the UN for the World Council of Independent Christian Churches (WCICC) last week encouraged the over 44 million members and congregants of PJTN and the WCICC to contact the Presbyterian Church leaders to voice their opposition to this issue.  "Clearly, our efforts to mobilize our base and add our voices to other pro-Israel organizations who lobbied against this effort is what tipped the scales in our favor, but we still have more work to do," she noted.

Further commenting on the action, she added:

"It further illustrates how vitally important our work is at PJTN.  The growing lack of Biblical understanding is threatening our Jewish and Christian brethren in the region and is an affront to Almighty God.  We cannot pursue efforts that are antithetical to God's Word and His Covenant.  In doing so, we are not just condemning our Jewish brethren, we are standing in direct opposition to God's Covenant."

Cardoza-Moore gave a further word of caution on a growing global trend. "We are once again witnessing a rise of a "new" form of anti-Semitism against our Jewish brethren and Israel by Christian churches," she observed.

Noting the Presbyterian vote in particular, she commented: "Ironically, what wasn't on the MRTI agenda is the persecution of Christians who are being slaughtered in places like Iran, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Syria and Nigeria.   Neither are they addressing Moslem women who are being raped and stoned to death by their Moslem husbands, brothers and fathers. And this is the Committee that addresses Middle East peace for the Presbyterian Church?  It seems obvious that this agenda is not to defend Human Rights, but a blatant attack on our Jewish brethren."
