Jerusalem Inspiration

The Psalmist describes a young man living in the northern region of the Land of Israel longing for Jerusalem, his soul thirsting for closeness to God. Where does he find his inspiration otherwise? Mount Hermon. Soaring over 2800 meters above sea level, this mountain range is covered in snow for most of the year, and the runoff of melting snow is the major source of freshwater for the Jordan River which flows into the Sea of Galilee.  Yet despite the awe-inspiring vistas, the psalmist still seeks spiritual inspiration 200 kilometers southward, from a small hill upon which stands the Temple and from there the word of God emanates to the entire world.  Draw YOUR inspiration from the wonder of Jerusalem with this fantastic Jerusalem night sky necklace, made of fine sterling silver with a genuine fragment of ancient Roman glass. It's sure to keep you longing for Jerusalem.

Skiing Down the Hermon Mountain

What does the mostly warm climated holy land look like blanketed in snow? Find out with this amazing footage from the snowy Hermon mountain.

Keeping the Commandments in Outer Space

Can one blow the shofar in the silent vacuum of outer-space? Perhaps the low-key nature of Israel's space program could be due to the difficulties space travel poses for Jews.

"Jerusalem Beckons" Painting

There is something about Jerusalem that calls out to people of all ages, religions and cultures. It’s a city with a living history, and a story behind every door. "Jerusalem Beckons" is a beautiful painting which encapsulates the personal and yet mysterious quality of the homes that make up this ancient hub of the world. Straight from Jordana Klein's studio in the Old City of Jerusalem, the painting depicts a dozen Jerusalem doorways and windows welcoming people to the city.

A fabulous view by Safi Allman, juxtaposing the snow-capped Hermon mountain with the lush green fields of the Golan.
