Facebook Censors Image of Santa Kneeling Before Jesus - TODD STARNES CHARISMA NEWS

Facebook censored an image of Santa Claus kneeling before the baby Jesus— warning that the image "may show violent or graphic content."
LifeSite News reports a second warning beneath the obscured image of Santa on bended knee, reverentially adoring the Christ Child, states, "This photo was automatically covered so you can decide if you want to see it."
This is what the original posting looked like:
Then Facebook censored it.

Air Force Base Refuses to Back Down From Bible Ban- TODD STARNES CHARISMA NEWS

The commander of Warren Air Force Base is refusing to back down after she surrendered to the demands of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation and removed a Bible from a POW-MIA table.
Col. Stacy Jo Huser, the 90th Missile Wing commander replaced the Bible with a generic "book of faith" to ensure "the religious and non-religious feel included and cared for."
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation had complained that the inclusion of God's Word was a violation of the U.S. Constitution.
The MRFF is easily triggered by public displays of Christianity on military installations.
The head of the foundation, Mikey Weinstein, wrote in the HuffPost that he is dedicated to fighting "virulent religious oppression" carried out by "incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation's armed forces."
First Liberty Institute, one of the nation's top religious liberty law firms, blasted the base commander's decision.
"The same Air Force that produced men like General Robbie Risner, who spent more than seven years as a POW in the infamous Hanoi Hilton, waving the white flag of surrender," attorney Mike Berry told "The Todd Starnes Radio Show." "Like the vast majority of American POWs, General Risner credited his survival to his faith in God and prayer. This latest display of capitulation by the Air Force is simply a slap in the face to the memory of General Risner and the many other brave American POWs."
As I mentioned on Fox News at Night with Shannon Bream, Weinstein once bragged during the Obama administration about having a hotline to the Pentagon. It's time for President Trump to disconnect the number.

Federal Judge: Police Officers Cannot Pray in Public -TODD STARNES CHARISMA NEWS

(igorovsyannykov/Pixabay)
The city council of Ocala, Florida, has decided to fight back after a federal judge ruled that the city and its police chief violated the Constitution by promoting and holding a prayer vigil.
U.S. District Judge Timothy Corrigan ruled in May that Police Chief Greg Graham and city leaders broke the Establishment Clause by organizing, promoting and holding a 2014 prayer vigil after a drive-by shooting injured several children.
"The government cannot initiate, organize, sponsor or conduct a community prayer vigil," Judge Corrigan wrote in his order. "That is what happened here."
The American Humanist Association represented several local residents who were allegedly triggered and suffered microaggressions as a result of the vigil.
The lawsuit claimed the police chief was "reckless and callously indifferent" because of his involvement in the planning and promotion of the event.
The chief and the city were ordered to pay $3 in damages plus attorney fees, Ocala.com reported.
The city council filed a motion to vacate the judgement.
Mayor Kent Guinn told Fox News that about 600 people showed up to pray "for the children that got shot in the drive by shooting."
Renowned evangelist Franklin Graham said prayer is a basic human right and public employees should be able to petition the Almighty.
"George Washington prayed, Abraham Lincoln prayed, and other presidents have called on God publicly in times of war or crisis," the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse tweeted.
"Atheists have the right not to believe and not to call on God," he said. "People of faith have the right to pray, and it should not be taken away."
But AHA legal director David Niose said prayer rallies should be run by churches, not police departments.
"Police departments shouldn't be endorsing religion, yet that's exactly what the Ocala Police Department did here by sponsoring and promoting a prayer vigil," he said in a statement.
It really takes a perverted kind of reprobate to sue a police department for participating in a prayer vigil.
Have mercy.

Is the Air Force Done With People of Faith? - TRAVIS WEBER /FRC CHARISMA NEWS

Is the Air Force Done With People of Faith?
TRAVIS WEBER /FRC  CHARISMA NEWS
Is it really possible that the Air Force no longer has room for people of faith? Based on the matter of Col. Bohannon, that may sadly be the case.
Leland Bohannon is a decorated colonel who has devoted decades of his life to serving our Air Force, including flying missions in the B-2 stealth bomber. He's been ranked first on his performance reports, has been bestowed numerous honors, and trusted with oversight of nuclear weapons. In other words, he's the model Air Force officer.
Yet Colonel Bohannon's career may be flushed down the drain by the Air Force simply because of a subordinate who wanted approval of a same-sex marriage. When he was handed several awards and certificates to sign for the subordinate's retirement ceremony, Colonel Bohannon signed all of them except a "certificate of spouse appreciation"—which he couldn't in good conscience sign because the certificate was for a spouse of the same sex. He sought advice about what to do from his chaplain and attorney; the chaplain told him to ask for a religious accommodation. He submitted one but it was returned six weeks later "without action." In the meantime, a major general offered to sign the certificate instead, and it was signed and presented to the subordinate. Yet when the subordinate saw that Colonel Bohannon was not the signatory, he filed an Equal Opportunity complaint against him, alleging discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.
The EO investigator found that Col Bohannon violated Air Force regulations and "unlawfully discriminated against the MSgt based on sexual orientation." The EO investigator recognized that a religious accommodation had been sought, but claimed that "even had the accommodation been granted, Col Bohannon would nonetheless be guilty of unlawful discrimination."
As a result, his superior "suspended Col Bohannon from command, withheld his decoration, and submitted a letter to the Air Force Brigadier General promotion board—the rank for which Col Bohannon is eligible—recommending that Col Bohannon not be promoted."
Not only is this entire side-show an absurd waste of time, it is clearly unlawful and unconstitutional. The EO investigator is apparently ignorant of the law in this area; if a religious accommodation is granted, that means by definition that he's not "guilty of unlawful discrimination"—because he's been granted an accommodation. Moreover, religious freedom law and military policy demand that he be granted an accommodation in an instance like this—where the objective is easily fulfilled with another signature on the certificate.
At best, this entire matter is a distraction for Colonel Bohannon. At worst, it could end his career. That's the track this train is currently proceeding on.
Thankfully, our friends at First Liberty are on the case, and those in the media like Todd Starnes are calling attention to this. Let us hope the Air Force fixes the issue before the entire situation is derailed and the military environment only grows more toxic for people of faith.

Public School Turns Classrooms into Muslim Prayer Rooms - TODD STARNES CHARISMA NEWS

Public School Turns Classrooms into Muslim Prayer Rooms

A New York high school has transformed two vacant rooms into areas where Muslim students can pray during Ramadan.
A spokesperson for Shenendehowa High School said the decision to offer Muslim prayer rooms on public property is part of their effort to be culturally proficient.
"The school is trying to do a lot more to be culturally inclusive and so is the district," school spokesperson Kelly DeFeciani told the Saratogian newspaper.
"We are trying to get people to understand all different cultures," she told the newspaper. "We want to make the school conducive, so all students can learn, can feel accepted and feel understood."
Shen High School recently made national news after they hosted a student art exhibit that included profane references to President Trump. Click here to read that story.
The school district was quick to add that any student of any faith could use the prayer rooms—but it's clear the main intent is for Muslims to have a place to pray during Ramadan.
"With this effort, this group can meet both their educational and religious obligations," DeFeciani told the newspaper. "In this case, it's the principal's decision. He's doing it to meet the needs of his students."
It's yet another example of a public school accommodating Islam while marginalized other religious groups.
I'm rather surprised the Freedom From Religion Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union hasn't raise a stink about this.
Whenever Christian students and teachers pray or reference God in graduation speeches or read their Bible, the atheist groups break out with a raging case of microaggressions.
But when a public school turns classrooms into de facto mosques, the atheists and agnostics and freethinkers are curiously silent.

Mainstream Media Loves 'Nasty' Women But Not Unborn Girls

TODD STARNES  CHARISMA NEWS
Today hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans are expected to rally in Washington, D.C., for the annual March for Life.
And if previous years are any indication—the mainstream media will turn a blind eye.
Networks like CNN and MSNBC are more than happy to provide wall-to-wall coverage and above-the-fold headlines for so-called "nasty" women. But they have no interest in giving equal access to hundreds of thousands of pro-life women—the defenders of the unborn.
The three broadcast networks covered the women's march 129 times more than they did the 2016 March for Life, Newsbusters reports. Shameful.
The Mainstream Media would have you believe that pro-lifers are religious fanatics—fringe lunatics. But in fact, most of those marching in the streets today are young millennials—college-educated.
They wear skinny jeans and knit caps and drink chai tea. They are computer engineers and attorneys—young men and women who have seen firsthand the scourge of the abortionists.
They have seen the cruel atrocities committed by Planned Parenthood—funded by our tax dollars. Blood money.
They went to the polls on Election Day to cast their vote for a man who promised to defend the unborn.
And today they march—for the more than 59 million little boys and little girls slaughtered since Roe v. Wade became the law of the land.
They march to send a message to the world—that all lives matter.
They march to remember an entire generation of doctors and writers and scientists—wiped off the face of the earth.
They march in solidarity against the abortionists—selling the body parts of their victims at auction to the highest bidder.
They are Catholics and evangelicals, Pentecostals and Protestants, Jew and Gentile—marching arm-in-arm to end this modern-day holocaust. It's a holocaust the mainstream media has deemed unworthy of coverage.

Teens Volunteer as Pallbearers for Veteran With No Family - TODD STARNES CHARISMA NEWS

Teens Volunteer as Pallbearers for Veteran With No Family

TODD STARNES  CHARISMA NEWS
Navy veteran Jerry Wayne Pino died on Dec. 12 in Long Beach, Mississippi. He was 70 years old.
We don't know that much about Jerry. He was born in Baton Rouge and joined the Navy in New Orleans. He was a petty officer third class in Vietnam. That's the extent of his biography.
No family. No friends. He died alone.
Jerry's body lay unclaimed for several weeks at Riemann Family Funeral Homes.
"No one stepped forward," funeral home worker Cathy Warden told me. "He just didn't have any family."
Miss Cathy explained the situation to her colleague Eva Boomer and together they decided something must be done to give this veteran a proper send off.
"Something had to be done with respect," Miss Cathy said. "We had to give him what he deserved. Nobody should go alone."
Miss Eva, who is also a veteran, wondered if some of the boys at Long Beach High School might be willing to serve as pallbearers. It was a longshot, though, seeing how most of the students were out on Christmas break.
But Miss Cathy called her teenage son Bryce who in turn texted some of his friends—and within a matter of minutes, six young men had volunteered to serve at a stranger's funeral.
Nobody should go alone.
"It was the right thing to do," 17-year-old Bailey Griffin told me. "He served our country. He fought for our rights. For him to be buried with nobody there was just sad. I told myself I was going to do it, and I did it."
They buried Petty Officer Third Class Jerry Pino on a Tuesday. The sun was shining and there was a cool, gulf coast breeze meandering through the Biloxi National Cemetery. An honor guard stood at attention.
The boys were smartly dressed in khaki pants and Sunday shirts and neck ties. They solemnly took their places on either side of the flag-draped coffin and escorted a man they did not know to his final resting place.
"I went out there for the service and cried the whole way through," Miss Cathy said. "He had no one there. This veteran had nobody standing there but these boys."
But what happened at the end of the funeral was incredibly moving and poignant.
The flag that had draped Jerry's coffin was folded and presented to the six young men from Long Beach High School, home of the Bearcats.
"It touched my heart," she said.
It's just proof that moms and dads are doing something right in Long Beach, that's what Miss Cathy said.
"Our community is teaching these boys from the heart how it should be—how to care," she said.
They are still trying to figure out what to do with the flag that draped Jerry's coffin. It's being encased in glass—along with a plaque that bears his name.
There's talk about putting the flag on display at the high school or perhaps inside the locker room where four of the pallbearers play football.
It would be a fitting tribute to a man who died alone but who was buried surrounded by his fellow countrymen.
And oh, what a lesson for the rest of us—demonstrated by a group of young boys from Mississippi who committed in their hearts that nobody should go alone—especially a veteran.

Target Stock Plummets as Boycotts Surge

TODD STARNES  CHARISMA NEWS
There are two indisputable facts surrounding Target's decision to allow men to use the same bathrooms and changing rooms as women and little girls.
First, Target's stock has taken pounding since April. Second quarter earnings fell to $680 million, according to Market Watch. And revenue fell 7.2 percent.
Second, more than 1.4 million consumers have joined American Family Association's nationwide boycott of the nation's second-largest discount retailer.
The debate is whether there is a correlation between those two facts.
Target CEO Brian Cornwell told Fortune magazine in May that the transgender bathroom policy has nothing to do with their financial well-being.
"To date we have not seen a material or measurable impact on our business," he said. "Just a handful of stores across the country have seen some activity and have been impacted."
But American Family Association believes their boycott is having a significant impact on Target's bottom line.
"After seeing Target's latest earnings report, the retailer can't afford to have millions of families shopping with their competitors," AFA president Tim Wildmon wrote in a statement. "The privacy and protection of women and children is important and that is why we will continue to stand against Target for its reckless policy."
Last week, Target announced they would be spending millions of dollars to add private single-stall bathrooms at many of its stores.
Fortune reports the decision was made as Target tries to reverse a drop in shopper traffic, "some of which may have been caused by the retailer's transgender-friendly bathroom policy."
"It's clear that some of our guests like and some dislike our inclusive bathroom policy," Target chief financial officer Cathy Smith told Fortune.
That's what we call an understatement, kids.
AFA says Target's single-stall bathrooms will still endanger women and children. Therefore, they plan to continue the boycott.
"We still believe Target doesn't value the safety of families because they've refused to reverse this dangerous policy," Wildmon said.
In a letter obtained by Fox News, Wildmon explains his concerns to Target's chief executive officer, Brian Cornell.
"We do not feel that the transgender community poses a threat to other shoppers," Wildmon wrote. "Our major concern was that Target's policy would grant voyeurs and sexual predators easier access to their victims by allowing men in women's restrooms and changing areas, which puts women and girls in danger."
Wildmon noted incidents involving such activity at Target stores in Massachusetts, Idaho and Texas.
"Unisex bathrooms are fine, but our request has always been that Target maintain the gender-specific bathrooms as well – if the company is interested in guaranteeing the safety and privacy of women and girls who patronize the retailer's stores," Wildmon wrote.
He said the boycott will remain in place "until Target agrees that protecting the safety and privacy of women and children is of paramount concern."
