This past week I was sent a vision from someone in South Africa, a dream from someone in New Zealand, and another dream from someone here in the US. All of them pointed to a coming storm over this nation. But, they also revealed a grand conclusion! In the wake of more mass shootings in cities across the nation, there is a rising anxiety and uncertainty among many. Whether these attacks come from terrorists, home-grown criminals, or desperate prodigals with a point to prove, violence is on the rise. But now is not the time to give in to this fear! Rather, we must press into prayer and raise up even more local prayer watches to blanket our cities with intercession.
The Bowls Are About to Tip!
The powers of the air recognize that the prayers of the saints have been getting through to the throne! Our intercession has been filling the bowls and stirring Heaven to come to the earth and the enemy knows it. The reality is that God is about to pour out His glory across the earth, bringing the true FEAR OF THE LORD upon this land, and Hell is running scared. All the powers of darkness are about to be exposed for what they truly are. They are making a last-ditch effort to release a demonic terror in hopes that we will be distracted and give in to a fear that is not of God.
Where the fear of the Lord is Heaven-sent to awaken our spirits to the majesty and holiness of God, the terror of Hell seeks to destroy our faith and kill our purpose and destiny. What we see happening in many of these horrific attacks is the devil's preemptive attack to the fear of the Lord that is coming. But, we can do something about it. (Photo via Unsplash)
We must stand by those who are suffering from these attacks with our love, support, and prayers, and we must also take our positions in the watchtowers of our communities for the days ahead. We must take the offense in securing our cities for the Kingdom by praying with others in agreement for the spiritual and natural protection of the Lord. Our corporate alignment is key to secure our cities and establish spiritual walls of protection.
Let's pray for God's presence to become a wall of fire around our communities and for the fear of the Lord to permeate every street in our neighborhoods. I urge you to join with other Believers around you and BUILD A WALL OF FIRE AROUND YOUR CITY!
"'And I will be to her a wall of fire all around,' declares the Lord, 'and I will be the glory in her midst.'" (Zechariah 2:5 ESV)
A Prayer Guide
Here is a simple PRAYER GUIDE that you can use for your own community as you stand with others on the wall of intercession.
1. Lift up praise and worship over the city.
"Extol the Lord, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion. He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you." (Psalm 147:12-13(Photo via Unsplash)
• Magnify the name of Jesus above all other names (Luke 10:17; Philippians 2:9-11).
• Declare His Lordship in your community and region (2 Kings 19:19; Psalm 50:23).
• Read Psalms of praise to displace any voices of darkness (Psalm 33, 35, 65, and 67).
2. Declare your home and community to be a dwelling place for God's presence.
"'And I Myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the Lord, 'and I will be its glory within.'" (Zechariah 2:5)
• Celebrate the light of His presence which brings strength and favor (Psalm 89:15-17).
• Praise Him for His presence which disarms the enemy (Psalm 31:20; Exodus 33:14).
• Thank God for His presence which prevents any deception or falsehood from taking hold (Psalm 101:7).
• Invite the fear of the Lord to rest upon your community (Psalm 34:7; Isaiah 8:13-14).
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
3. Call for unity in the Church and oneness of spirit among spiritual leaders.
"...Holy Father, protect them by the power of Your name, the name You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one."(John 17:11)
• Pray that the hearts of leaders would be drawn together by a oneness of spirit (Ephesians 4:16; Galatians 3:26-28).
• Pray that doctrinal differences would give way to demonstrating the power of the Gospel (2 Chronicles 30:12; 1 Corinthians 1:10).
• Pray that a unified voice would arise from the city, reflecting the Father's heart and will (Romans 15:5-6).
• Pray that Believers would be drawn together in the power of covenant community (Acts 18:9-10).
4. Disarm any plans of the enemy to cause harm or injury to people or property.
"...Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's." (2 Chronicles 20:15)
• Declare God's righteous boundaries around the city (Psalm 31:20; Jeremiah 5:22).
• Renounce (refuse to recognize) and cancel any threats of harm or property damage (Isaiah 63:9; Luke 4:28-30).
• Pray that communications of the enemy would be confused and canceled (Jeremiah 20:11-12; Psalm 55:9-10).
• Counter negative words or curses spoken with the promises of God (Psalm 109:26-31; 2 Corinthians 10:2-6). (Photo via Unsplash)
5. Declare that the Light of Truth will dispel any darkness and expose the lies.
"In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:4-5)
• Bless the city with an increased awareness of His presence and truth which dispels darkness (Psalm 36:9).
• Pray that those who oppose God's heart and ways would encounter Jesus (Acts 8:12-13).
• Pray that counterfeits would be exposed, bringing the fear of the Lord (Acts 19:14-17).
• Pray that every evil practice would collide with truth and life (Acts 8:4-8).
6. Speak God's blessings and protection over transportation and communication lines.
"The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven." (Deuteronomy 28:7)
• Pray protection over city streets and citizens young and old (Psalm 121:8; Proverbs 10:9).
• Bless the roadways and highways with the holiness of God (Isaiah 35:8-10).
• Declare the roadways consecrated unto the Lord to bring wandering souls back to Him (Jeremiah 50:5). (Photo via Unsplash)
7. Pray for the Word of God and message of the Cross to be shared with power.
"For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict...Everyone will hate you because of Me. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life." (Luke 21:15, 17-19)
• Declare that the power of God's Word and anointing of the Holy Spirit would disarm the adversary (Acts 6:9-10; 2 Thessalonians 1:5-7).
• Pray for boldness to declare the truth of the Gospel (Acts 4:29-31; Philippians 1:14).
• Pray that the Spirit of Truth would be proclaimed and heard (John 16:13-14).
• Declare the favor of God on those who preach and teach the Word of God (Acts 17:16-17, 32).
8. Thank God for His delivering power in defeating all His enemies.
"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." (1 John 4:4) (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

A Prophetic Call for Patriarchs and Matriarchs to Rise Up and Make History - WANDA ALGER CHARISMA NEWS

(Pixabay/Pliactom)
A Prophetic Call for Patriarchs and Matriarchs to Rise Up and Make History
04.14.19 WANDA ALGER  CHARISMA NEWS
There is a rising group of men and women of God who have been hidden but have been prepared for a mission. They are being called by the Spirit of God to prepare a future generation of kingdom ambassadors who are going to shift culture and transform the earth. Because of the call on their lives, their journey has not been about them, but those following them. The Lord is calling forth history makers who carry a burden for family and a vision for kingdom expansion. There are many in this season who are being called as spiritual fathers and mothers to raise up sons and daughters and plant the seeds for emerging nations. If this is you, the Lord is saying, "Don't look for your own platform; you are to be a platform for others."
In a day when many seek platforms for their ministry to grow and venues for their voice to be heard, the Lord is raising up men and women of God who have the faith of Abraham to contend for a future generation. These are men and women with a God-given passion, zeal and prophetic burden for their posterity—their sons and daughters after them. These are present-day "saints of old" to whom heaven is drawing, empowering and granting increased favor in order to establish a legacy so secure and a generation so powerful, nothing will stop the increase of His government on the earth.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the men of old obtained a good report" (Heb. 11:1-2).
The prophesied sons and daughters who are now emerging in this generation (see Rom. 8:19) cannot mature and develop apart from spiritual fathers and mothers who nurture and disciple them. Beyond academic training and ministry development, it is the heart of fathers and mothers to build character from the inside out. They are the ones who walk alongside these future change agents through the various seasons of life to impart the grace, perspective and needed wisdom to withstand the coming storms. It is these patriarchs and matriarchs whom heaven is calling forth with a vision beyond themselves to disciple entire nations (see Gen. 17:5). Hebrews' hall of fame for history makers is calling forth new candidates with this same vision for heaven's promise. Are you one of them?

"These all have obtained a good report through faith, but they did not receive the promise. For God provided something better for us, so that with us they would be made perfect" (Heb. 11:39-40).
I was recently reminded of a dream where I gave birth to a baby and within a few hours, I was cradling this small child in my arms on top of a platform that I presented to the world. The growth and development of this gifted child happened very quickly, and it was obvious it was supernatural. It was a dramatic illustration that the most powerful platforms needed for the emerging sons and daughters will be established through fathers and mothers. Rather than looking for a platform to speak from, the Lord is saying you are that platform from which He is going to build and establish a lineage of rulers and agents of transformation.
Through the story of "Abraham, Isaac and Jacob," God demonstrated a pattern in establishing His people through at least three generations working together at the same time. God's first nation was born and bred multi-generationally, paving the way for other nations to follow. In order to secure our inheritance as a royal priesthood and a holy nation (see 1 Pet. 2:9), heaven is looking for a people who embrace and esteem fathers and mothers and celebrate multi-generational relationships. The Lord is placing within these fathers and mothers an unshakeable conviction of that which is yet to come, a manifestation of heaven on earth released through their sons and daughters.
"He will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God. And he will go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord" (Luke 1:16-17).
I also believe that many fathers and mothers that are answering this call are being endowed with long lives and vibrant health so that they can journey with the generations that follow them. This is one reason why many in the body of Christ have taken greater interest in their personal health, many revising their diets and nutrition in order to be more productive in the years ahead. Heaven has prepared us for this hour as the rising ekklesia of God is taking ownership in and responsibility for the legacy that follows us.
"You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess" (Deut. 5:33).
"'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise, 'so that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth'" (Eph. 6:2-3).
To the rising fathers and mothers who fulfill this mission, the Lord is pleased to call you faithful, commended and anointed with favor and increase. As He brings you sons and daughters, of the flesh and of the spirit, He will provide everything needed to disciple and mentor them to maturity. As you are faithful in the charge, He will reward you with a posterity that outlives and outlasts you. Your reward will be secure, and heaven will see you as a history maker. You may be hidden to this realm, but you are already known to a cloud of witnesses who are cheering you on, inviting you to build on this legacy that will endure for all eternity.

"To the Seasoned Generation, God says, 'I Have Need of You!'" Wanda Alger, Winchester, VA

From the Desk of Steve Shultz:
Steve Shultz
Being in my 60s, I so appreciate words like this for the seasoned generation, as I'm beginning to walk into the second half of my life. In some ways it feels like I've only just begun!

Let me just say this: God is NOT done with you yet! You'll read about this and much more in Wanda Alger's article as she shares:

If we are to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) it will take faithful, dedicated, and mature saints to encourage, equip, and empower those who follow us. If we are to see the full turn-around of this nation that so many are praying for, it will require fathers and mothers rising up and taking their place. To many God says, "You're not done yet!" So, unpack your bags and settle with the fact that Heaven has need of you.

Now that's good. No matter how seasoned you feel...God has great need of you!

Enjoy!

"To the Seasoned Generation, God says, 'I Have Need of You!'"
Wanda Alger, Winchester, VA

If you are a part of the older generation who questions your worth or influence in this season of your life, God says, "I have need of you!"

If you have been faithfully interceding for this next generation and have become weary in well-doing, God says, "I have need of you!" If you have lived a life of challenges and setbacks, but come out victorious, God says, "I have need of you!"

Where most of us only look to the next five or ten years of our lives for vision and purpose, God looks much farther. The God of both testaments consistently looks for a generational inheritance that spans at least three generations.

In order to firmly establish a national, godly foundation with roots that are healthy enough to grow, mature and bear fruit, it requires an intergenerational contending so that an entire culture is transformed.

"...I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob..." (Exodus 3:6)

That which we have fought for, battled for, and persevered for must be instilled within future generations if we are to see the Kingdom of God manifest fully on the earth before His return.

Without the younger generations receiving the wisdom, insight and guidance from those who have gone before, we will continue to wander in the wilderness as a nation and never live the legacy God intends. Without the faithful intercession and engagement of seasoned saints, the Church's prayers will be limited and the Ekklesia incomplete.

A New Weapon to Displace Hope Deferred

For those who doubt their ability to continue standing in the gap to steward this mandate, God wants to give a new weapon for intercession. For those who have carried heartache or disappointment from unmet expectations or unfulfilled dreams, God wants to mantle you with a new faith and perspective to empower your next season.

"...the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair..." (Isaiah 61:3)

Though some intercessors have been called into times of travail in the spirit and weeping for the lost, there are also many whom the Lord is calling forth with the weapon of joy and laughter as a weapon against the enemy. This is not any human-induced demonstration of laughter, but a Holy Spirit mantle of absolute faith and confidence in the King who can laugh in the face of pure evil.

"The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him, but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for He sees that his day is coming." (Psalm 37:12-13 ESV)

"But You, O Lord, laugh at them; You hold all the nations in derision. O my Strength, I will watch for You, for You, O God, are my fortress. My God in His steadfast love will meet me; God will let me look in triumph on my enemies." (Psalm 59:8-10 ESV)

A Verdict of Joy for the Future!

In previous years, the Lord poured out a gift of "holy laughter" on the Body of Christ. Its purpose was to diffuse and unseat a religious spirit that was taking over the Church. It was a demonstration of His character, and reminder of the fruit of the Spirit for us as Believers. However, the joy in this season is not just for ourselves—it's for others, as we stand in the gap of prayer together, displacing the demonic strongholds that are seeking to devour our nation through fear and terror. It is fueled by faith and releases supernatural power to depose principalities.

For those who have held back their engagement in the heavenly places of prayer and intercession because of past heartache and heaviness, the Lord is offering a new mantle of joy and praise to unseat the adversary.

You do not have to carry the burden of yesterday's griefs or the sorrow of unanswered prayers. Jesus already did.

"Surely, He took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But, He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:4-5)

The Righteous Judge is issuing an invitation into the courts of Heaven to present cases before the throne with absolute confidence in His Word, His power, and His purpose. He is also giving opportunities to come alongside the rising sons and daughters of faith who need your perspective, your counsel, and the legacy you carry.

Where your accuser has sentenced you with a spirit of heaviness, the Judge is now rendering a new verdict of JOY for the future. Through the victory of the Cross, you can move forward with great freedom and anticipation of what He will do through your faithful partnership in the Kingdom.

The Lord says, "I have need of you!" For those who answer the call, your legacy will not only be assured, but your reward will be recorded for generations to come.

"Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession." (Psalms 2:8 ESV) (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

There is an invitation being issued from heaven to those who are pursuing the tangible evidence of God's kingdom at work on the earth. The Holy Spirit is exhorting the church to come up higher, not just in prayer, but in practical application of the principles we hold dear. This invitation especially goes out to leaders who are being called up higher in their role of demonstrating the realities of sonship and kingdom authority.
Through a series of dreams in recent months, the Lord has highlighted several ways in which we as believers can partner with heaven in the fulfillment of God's plan in this kingdom age. His desire is to release the fullness of heaven's presence, power and reign to a world walking in darkness.
Prayer alone will not accomplish this. It must be accompanied by a tangible demonstration of those prayers in the lives of those who follow Christ (James 2:14). Even as many believers are engaging more in the public square, we are being reminded that any activism within our culture must be birthed out of prayer and intimacy with the Father. Anything less will only have short-term results and have no power to change the future.
These specific directives are ways in which the Lord is urging us to pray and intercede, but also to be that which the world so desperately needs:
Place Worship Before Administration
In one dream, I was shown a pastor who was handed a death sentence. However, the picture shown was this pastor lying on his back on his desk with his hands and face lifted towards heaven in worship and prayer. What he died to was the administrative expectations of his ministry and the myriad of details that needed attention. The Lord was urging this leader to place worshiping in Spirit and truth above the administration responsibilities that he carried.
In the days to come there will be much to administrate. As the kingdom advances, changes will take place that will require gifts of leadership to guide the church through the rocky transitions. However, we must not let our preoccupation to details, financial lack or seeming impossibilities to stop us from moving forward. In the dream, the pastor was dressed in blue, which often illustrates the spirit of wisdom and revelation. As we spend time in His presence and fix our eyes on Him, we will find heaven's solutions needed to administrate God's purposes with a supernatural grace that yields exponential results (2 Cor. 4:18).
Yield to Heaven's Sanctified Scalpel
In another dream, I was shown the "birthing" of the manifested presence of the Lord. However, this "baby" was still in its water sac and needed to be cut with a sterilized knife in order to breathe on its own. Even though it had technically been delivered, it was not yet ready to survive long-term apart from the cutting of fleshly tissue surrounding it in order for the waters to break forth.
Even as many have prophesied this "revival baby," I believe the Lord is exhorting us to allow the Holy Spirit to continue His refining and sanctifying work in us as believers. There can be no lasting move of the Spirit without a church that has been prepared to host His presence long-term. This means recognizing heaven's knife in cutting away things from our lives, both personally and corporately, in order for His Spirit to rule and reign. As we remember what this is unto, we can face any cross because of the greater joy that is set before us (Heb. 12:2).
Displace Ungodly Systems with Godly Courage
In this dream I was in a regional gathering where the Holy Spirit broke out through worship. As some of the pastors were beginning to engage with this move and exhort the people, another well-known leader who had a large denominational following, stopped them. He felt it was time to move on. His focus was not on the spontaneous move of the Spirit, but what seemed most familiar, safe and controllable.
Though many have spoken of religious spirits and demonic attempts to control believers, I felt the purpose of this dream went beyond simply recognizing the interference. What was needed was one of these pastors to take a stand for what the Spirit was doing. The fact was, there was more than one pastor who recognized this heavenly move. Had these pastors agreed together and spoken out, I believe this traditionally minded leader would have had to yield.
We need increased courage to take a stand for what we know is of God and we need to do it together. Prayer alone will not stop demonic systems. We must displace those influences by courageously speaking up and engaging with heaven. God will back us up if we back Him up (Luke 12:8).
Stay in the Right Covenant
The Lord highlighted some of these truths again through another dream. It was shown that the church had unknowingly gotten into a covenant with ministry instead of Him ("married to ministry"). There was an awakening that was happening to this reality, but a concern of how to make things right. Realizing that we had given our hearts to something else, we were now caught and looking for help to get back to our first love.
As prophetic voices and apostolic leaders continue to emerge, the Lord is reminding us of who it is that calls us and empower us. Our heart posture, mental preoccupation, and daily priorities must reflect a heart that is in covenant and agreement with Him first, above and beyond any ministry. Even "good things" can keep us back from the best things. As ministries and followings grow, let us remember to keep our lover first and foremost in our hearts and decisions in order to reap the fruit that can only come through our covenantal bond with Yahweh. We cannot allow any ministry to outgrow our love for Him nor give our hearts to lesser things (Matt. 6:19-21).
Bridge the Gap Between Mercy and Truth
One of the alignments that intercessors have been praying about is between generations. This current generation is a mercy-centered generation. The cry to love and accept others, and the passion for social justice comes from this heart to help and serve others. However, in many cases, righteousness and holiness often take a back seat. Then there is the previous generation who were taught to stand on godly principles and the truth. We hold a deep conviction for walking in truth at all costs, even if it means sacrificing relationships.
Both mercy and truth are characteristics of God's heart and purpose. However, we must bridge this gap, not only between generations, but between mindsets. Even our current political parties represent some of these differences. It will require a deeper understanding of the larger picture of God's heart in order to bring these two values together. There can be no true mercy apart from the righteousness of God. And, there can be no truth apart from God's unconditional love (1 Cor. 13:6, Eph. 4:15). If we are to see cultural changes and governmental policies change, it will require mercy and truth to walk together and bear fruit that only heaven can produce (Ps. 85:10).
This coming year, we are being invited to partner with heaven through our prayers and through our demonstration of kingdom values and character. Talk will only get us so far. Without the church modeling what the kingdom looks like, there will be no salt to draw the thirsty or hope to inspire the lost. As we continue to press into interceding for each other and this nation, may we remember to get outside our prayer closets and demonstrate to the world this glory we so passionately pursue.
"For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power" (1 Cor 4:20, ESV).
