"These Prayer Requests Have No Postage on Them – Return to Sender!" - Bill Yount

In the Spirit I saw many prayers ascending upward toward the throne. I sensed that many of these prayers were being prayed according to the Father's perfect will. Many were prayers for gifts, callings, and destinies to be manifested. A majority were bundles of prayers for the lost, especially for family members. Many of these prayer requests were made up of strong cries, day and night with fasting, that had become heavy burdens on hearts over the years.
As these prayers began to ascend, they seemed to go only so far and then drop back down to earth as though they were bouncing off the ceiling from where they were being prayed. I saw in Heaven something like a huge "heavenly post office" where prayer requests are received and where answers to prayers are sent out.
At the entrance of this "heavenly post office" on the front door was written in gigantic letters the Scripture Philippians 4:6"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God."
Many Prayers Weren't Making It
As huge bundles of prayer requests came through the front door on the way to the throne room, I was appalled by how many requests were being stopped and never made it to the throne room for answers. I heard a voice that shook me.
An angelic postmaster general proclaimed, "These prayer requests have no postage on them. Return to sender!" (Photo via Freeimages/Tawny Nelson)
In the Spirit I saw these huge bundles of prayer requests like letters that had no postage stamps on them. These could go no farther! The ones I did see going on into the throne room to be answered had a postage stamp of "thanksgiving" on them.
These ones became "priority mail" inside the throne room, and immediate confirmation of peace was sent to the sender with the following verse: "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7).
Before the answers of these prayers were manifested on earth, the people that sent their requests with thanksgiving were receiving the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen because of the peace of God they were receiving through "giving of thanks".
There Can't Be Thanksgiving Until There's Believing
Many prayers for lost loved ones never really reached their heavenly destination, not because people weren't praying, but they simply were not believing that they would receive what they were asking for. Therefore, to be thankful was very difficult for them.
The Lord seemed to say, "Tell My people that many have already prayed and prayed and filled Heaven with their prayers for the lost and their loved ones. They actually need to stop praying and simply believe ME to save them.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved...and thy house! Many are carrying a false responsibility, feeling that they are responsible to get their family members saved. May I remind you that you could not save your own self, and therefore, you cannot save anybody else. And since I saved you, I can save anybody!"(Photo via Pixabay)
Many who were faithfully praying for family members for many years were actually praying themselves into a state of depression. I sense the Spirit saying, "This kind of praying is not scriptural! Begin to believe and start thanking Me that I am going to save them now! Thank Me that I am going to bring in the lost. Just send up some stamps of 'thanksgiving,' and I will stamp your prayer requests to forward them to the throne."

Start Living as Though Your Prayers Are Already Answered!
I sensed the Father saying, "As you are thanking Me, go ahead and start treating the lost as though they were already saved. Start living as though your prayers are already answered! When you do, your life will become so full of thanksgiving and praise and worship, that you will begin to see My heavenly 'UPS' and 'FED EX' arrive, bringing speedy delivery from Heaven to impossible requests upon the earth! Praise and worship moves Me to do outrageous acts of blessings upon the earth!"
I remembered when Peter was put in prison and the Church was praying for his deliverance. There was also a prayer meeting going on for Peter in a woman's house. Her name was Mary. As the angel came and delivered Peter, he made a straight run to Mary's house. I believe he felt the power of their prayers.
We Can Stop Praying Now!
As he knocked on the front door, a handmaiden, Rhoda, answered the door and got so excited she forgot to let Peter in. Rhoda ran inside that prayer meeting shouting, "Peter is at the front door. We can stop praying now!" (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
For some reason they didn't seem to hear her. Perhaps someone was giving a strong prophetic utterance about Peter's soon release! Again, I can hear Rhoda shouting, "Our answered prayer is at the front door! We can stop praying!" Finally, Rhoda gets the prayer group's attention, and here is the spiritual temperature in that prayer room – here is what they say to Rhoda: "You must see his ghost!" In other words, "We don't believe it!"
You Will Never See It If You Don't Believe It
You can pray for a hundred years, but unless you believe that you are going to receive what you are asking for, you will never see it! "Whatsoever things you ask in prayer, believe that you receive them and you shall have them."
I personally believe there are some prayer meetings that need to be broken up. Many churches have prayer meetings, but few have "prayer-believing" meetings. It was easier for Peter to get out of prison than it was for him to get inside that prayer meeting!
Our Thanksgiving Proves Our Faith
Next time you pray, try putting a postage stamp of "thanksgiving" on your request. I promise you, you will enjoy prayer time much more, and you will probably live much longer! Prayer with thanksgiving proves to God that we believe we are going to receive what we are asking for. (Photo via Pixabay)
As a father, when my children thank me for something in advance, it's hard for me to get out of giving it to them!

"Pathway To Obtaining And Maintaining Peace In 2015" by Bobby Conner

"Pathway To Obtaining And Maintaining Peace In 2015"
Bobby Conner, Bullard, TX
The Elijah List

The battle for true peace commences in the mind. The Bible counsels us to be very careful and guard our thoughts as well as what we ponder within our heart, because that will set the cadence of our life. Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23

Christ Jesus, in His gracious message on the mountain, informs us that it is the pure in heart that see God. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

The writer of the book of Hebrews again admonishes us to actively seek, and powerfully pursue, purity and holiness, if we are going to see and behold the Lord. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14

Not Double-Minded

It is a tragic mistake thinking we can live a double-minded lifestyle and still have the blessing and favor of God and peace of God surrounding our life. Scripture warns us that to be double-minded is to forfeit contentment and peace in every arena of one's life.

Scripture states a wicked person is like the troubled sea filled with shame and unrest (see Isaiah 57:20-21). Again in Psalm 66:18 we see that sin hidden within causes our fellowship and communication with the Lord to be broken.(Photo via Pixabay)

If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), he is unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]. James 1:5-8 (Amplified Bible)

Notice the sad list of actions and attitudes of a double-minded person: unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything he feels, thinks and decides. These are lethal deadly actions that we must avoid. God wants us to walk in His light and love, guided and directed by His Holy Spirit.

What does it mean to be double-minded? Simply speaking: attempting to live in sin while seeking to portray yourself as a true upright Christian.

How to be single-minded:

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up close to God as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. Isaiah 40:28-31 (Amplified Bible)

ElijahList Prophetic Resources

These should be days of mounting up and soaring higher and higher in the ways of God. NOW is the time to renew your strength and be empowered by a fresh touch and anointing of God's Spirit (see Micah 3:8).

The promise of God's protection and provisions are extremely clear in this passage and promise from Isaiah. Ponder these passages and take them to heart. You will discover abiding peace and tranquility, even in a hostile world:

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. Isaiah 26:3-4 (Amplified Bible)

Yes, we will see trouble and chaos upon the earth, yet amid all this, in Jesus and by Jesus, we have peace and confidence. Notice how the Message Bibles states this fact:
It will seem like all Hell has broken loose—sun, moon, stars, earth, sea, in an uproar and everyone all over the world in a panic, the wind knocked out of them by the threat of doom, the powers-that-be quaking. Luke 21:25-26 (Message Bible)

Focus on Good Godly Things

Again, we will greatly benefit by focusing on good Godly things, not on the dark deceptive works of the devil.

Good advice is released in this passage from the Message Bible:
Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Philippians 4:6-8 (Message Bible) (Photo via Geograph)

Keep your heart clean! Guard your thoughts keep your mind pure! Watch what you watch! It does matter what movies you watch. Keep your focus on Godly things!

May these days be filled with God's blessings and favor on you and your family (see Psalm 84:11).

Rick Joyner:
Happy New Year! If You Follow Your Calling,
This Will Be Your Best Year Yet

Rick JoynerWe will continue our study of how the kingdoms of this world are in conflict with the coming Kingdom of God, but I would like to take this opportunity to be thankful for all the Lord did in 2013 and for all of the potential of 2014.

Because we are commanded to "enter His gates with thanksgiving" (see Psalm 100:4), I ask you to take a few minutes to think of all the things that took place in 2013 for which you are thankful, and thank Him.

Our thanksgiving to God should include everything that happened, because we are told to give thanks in all things. Everything works together for our good, so we should actually be thankful for everything in our lives. This may be hard for many things and will require even more faith. Since we know that "without faith it is impossible to please Him," the more faith we have in Him the more it pleases Him (see Hebrews 11:6).

Your Best Year Yet

Don't get your security from the crowd but from the LordNow let us resolve that we are going to enter 2014 with a thankful heart that is continually thanking Him. In this way, we will be able to continually dwell in His presence, and 2014 will be our best year yet.

Many reduce faith to belief in an outcome instead of faith in God. Having the best year yet does not depend on what happens in 2014 as much as it does on how close we get to the Lord.

Psalm 16:11 declares,
"You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever."

You can know that this is your calling, because it is the calling on each of God's people.

It is God's will for 2014 to be your best year yet—full of more peace and more joy than you have ever experienced before, because He is calling you to draw closer to Him.

Every year thereafter is supposed to be even more full of the peace of God and the joy of the Lord because it is your calling to get ever closer to Him.

All we have to do is follow Him and resolve that we are going to fulfill our highest purpose as human beings—to love Him above all things and to love one another.

Peace of God

It is that simple. Those things that divert us from simplicity of devotion to Christ bring pain, confusion, frustration, and fear into our lives. If we place seeking the Lord above all things, as is basic to those who resolve to keep Him their first love, then every major decision we make in our lives will be based on first seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness.

As we are told in Romans 14:17, His Kingdom is "righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." If we are seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness in all of our major decisions, then we will be doing what is right in the sight of the Lord, which leads to true peace that leads to true joy.

As we proceed into these times, the distinction between those who have built their lives on the Kingdom of God and those who peacehave built on the kingdoms of this world will become increasingly pronounced.

Those who have the peace of God will become more quickly distinguished from those who do not.

Those without the peace of God will be growing in fear and discord. Those who have the peace of God will be growing in the joy of the Lord, and this will cause them stand out more. You are called to be one of those standout people who represent the Kingdom of God.

If you follow your calling, this will be your best year yet.

Please also consider that as your peace and joy in the Lord becomes more pronounced, you will be asked more often what is the source of this. I Peter 3:15 tells us to, "sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you."

Your peace and joy will result in many salvations as these times unfold. Rehearse now how you will answer those who ask about the Source of your hope, your peace, and your joy.
