Baptisms of Fire

Recently, I've had a word burning in my heart that has been increasing in intensity. I feel this is a very important word for the Body of Christ right now. Then just this last week, I had a dream where the Lord showed me a baptism of fire, deeper than ever before. There is a fresh baptism of fire—the fire of His presence and His love—that has begun in the Church. It is about to increase significantly in intensity and momentum, and it's birthing a SYNERGY of Holy Spirit fire with a passion for the Gospel.

These baptisms of fire that are taking place now, and significantly increasing across the Body of Christ, are igniting and going to ignite the fire of evangelism. This fire is a deep revelation of the Cross and resurrection. It's going to spread the beautiful Gospel message within the Church in an explosive way.

I saw people within the Body of Christ so overwhelmed and burning with the revelation of the Gospel and the fire of His love. The perfect love of Jesus was going into the world as these ones shared the greatest love story ever told with a completely new and fresh fire.

"I felt His heart so strongly that He is awakening the Church to the foundational message of the Gospel..."

These baptisms of fire will so engulf His people in the well of the Gospel and take us into a whole new realm of being awed and filled with wonder at the simplicity and profundity of the Gospel. There is a divine re-engagement with the Gospel that will take place in this baptism of Holy Spirit fire, leading to deep wells of encounter.

This synergy I saw, of burning Holy Spirit fire for the Gospel, was so powerful. Believers were transformed, chains of fear in sharing the Gospel were gone and replaced with a new boldness and a bursting forth within the Church. The fire of His love that consumed God's people and flowed through them was so beautiful, transforming cultures and nations. The Bride was awake and alive in a way I had never seen.

Receive His Heart of Love for Those Who Don't Know Him Yet

The Lord is wanting to release a greater impartation of His heart to the Body of Christ for those who do not yet know Him. I saw life-changing encounters with Jesus happening all across the world, as the Lord began to ignite the fire of His love for those who don't know Him yet. The fire of His love and revelation of His heart were so powerful in these encounters, that it affected the way the Church would SEE.

As I saw these powerful encounters taking place, scales of judgment, criticism and accusation were falling off many of God's people. They began to SEE the world and those who do not know Him yet through His eyes.

This lead to a greater awakening of loving the down-and-out, the broken and the hurting, and seeing them as HE sees them. Believers all across the earth were being transformed by His heart of love for ALL people. I watched as the Church began arising in a whole new revelation of the love of Jesus and loving people to life. "I AM Preparing the Way for the New Day"

I heard the Holy Spirit say, "I am preparing the way for the new day." Instantly the sense surrounded me of Bob Jones' prophetic word about the Billion-Soul Harvest. When I asked the Lord about how He was preparing the way, I heard Him say, "I am bringing a great awakening within the Church to the greatest gift and truth of all."

"For this is how much God loves the world – He gave His one and only Son as a gift, so now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience everlasting life." (John 3:16 The Passion Translation)

I felt His heart so strongly that He is awakening the Church to the foundational message of the Gospel—an incredible increase in synergy of burning Holy Spirit fire for the passion of the Gospel. A passion so strong that wherever His people go, day-to-day, they are awake more than ever before. They will carry the reality of eternity, burning with His love, and will see others as He sees them, sharing the Good News of Jesus and bringing transformation and reformation.

I saw such a shift taking place across the Body of Christ in regards to evangelism. It wasn't just evangelists receiving an increase of fire and passion for the Gospel, but the Church was being awakened and without fear, loving people to life and sharing the beauty of the Gospel. Many would no longer be caged in fear of sharing the truth of Jesus, but will be so on fire with the revelation of the Gospel that they could not help but speak.

The Lord is bringing a great shift in the Church to prepare the Body of Christ to carry the huge harvest that is beginning across the earth.

Increase in the Burden to Pray for the Lost

These encounters will release burdens and evangelistic awareness. I saw the Spirit of God moving within the Body of Christ and increasing the revelation of eternity within the hearts of Believers, placing intercessory burdens upon hearts to pray and intercede for those who do not yet know Jesus. These weren't burdens of fear I saw, but an urgency and intensity. Many in the Body of Christ have been praying for years for people, and suddenly the burden was increasing. Others, I saw the Lord suddenly placing burdens on their hearts to pray for people. Others, were having dreams and receiving the heart of the Lord for people and waking up in a deep place of intercession.

The common theme in each encounter was the Lord releasing an increase of His heart and intensity of intercession, because many of these seeds are about to sprout! As these powerful intercessory burdens were being released and God's people partnered with Him in prayer, I saw many sudden conversions. Fish were jumping into the boat. The urgency wasn't a fearful thing, but was the encouragement of God saying, "Breakthrough and salvation for many is SO close."

There is a fresh baptism of fire coming. It's going to birth a synergy of Holy Spirit fire, stirring up a passion for the Gospel upon the Church. Position yourself before Him and ask for it. Cry out for it! Say "YES" to His invitation, because He wants to increase and release His heart to you to SEE as He sees, to LOVE as He loves, and to share the truth of the Gospel wherever you go. It's the greatest love story the world has ever known. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)

Get ready to see John 3:16 burn within you like you have never known. Ask Him! Ask Him! He's releasing His heart.

"God did not send His Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it." (John 3:17, The Passion Translation)

You Are About to Occupy New Land

Just recently, I also had a burning within my spirit about the "EXTENSION of land" and the word "OCCUPY" was burning within me. Several nights ago, I heard the Lord say, "Get ready to OCCUPY new land." Then a few days later as I awoke, the Lord was speaking and burning in my spirit again about EXTENSION and OCCUPYING.

As I meditated upon this word, I felt the Lord saying that, "Many will find an ACCELERATION of occupying new land in 2018." The faithfulness of many stewarding the lands that God has given them are about to step into an extension of land, a promotion, and a reward of new land. No matter what is going on around you, the Lord is going to suddenly position you and increase the land He has called you to occupy. This is not something to fear, but something to REJOICE in.

I decree over you in the name of Jesus—that in this new land, you will see greater fruitfulness than you have ever seen. In this new land, you will see greater JOY than you have ever experienced. In this new land, you will experience greater ease in the anointing, refreshment in the spirit, and encounters with Jesus and His Word in a deeper way than before.

Many of you have been battling and fighting over the land that God has given you for SO long. In fact, you have been FIGHTING to MAINTAIN the land He has given you and fighting the opposition of the enemy. Get ready, get ready, for the EXTENSION has begun. You are transitioning and about to be catapulted into occupying MORE land than you imagined and it will be marked with JOY, PEACE and GREAT fruitfulness.

Your season has changed and now you will see BREAKTHROUGH at the HEART of this new land. The rain of His Spirit will fall so heavily in the new land and bring such life, refreshment and fruitfulness, and your eyes will see the faithfulness of God and the recompense of God exploding all around.

There's new land waiting for you! Get ready!

The new land you will occupy is MARKED with Isaiah 55:9-13:

"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from Heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord's renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever."

REJOICE! It's harvest time! He is positioning you for INCREASE for SUCH a time as this!

"Ireland! Put on the Garment of Praise!"

Although I have been a born again Christian for over 30 years and have been in this prophetic renewal for many of those, I have never, ever received a vision and a word like the one God seized me with for Ireland this morning.

As I was listening to the song "O, Consuming Fire," I saw the map of Europe circled by a high and thick wall, like a fortified city. Coming from the west, I saw the stern of a big ship – an ice-breaker type thing, only much bigger – knocking this wall down and making a breakthrough in Europe through Ireland.

I said: "God, are you going to bring a revival or a renewal to Ireland?" He answered: "No. Revival or renewal are not adequate words for what I am about to do in this country. 

It is going to be an outburst, an explosion, an invasion of My Spirit in the land of Ireland. 

All they have known for decades is civil war, terrorism, bombs, bullets, explosions, and slaughters, which were the works of the enemy, because satan knows what an exceptional destiny I have for the Irish people; but now I come. I come with might and power, I come with glory and splendor, I come with a divine explosion." (Photo via Freeimages)

Then the Lord led me to listen to the first song of "Revival In Belfast" (Robin Mark; Hosanna Music), titled "Garments of Praise," and the sobs of the Father's heart for Ireland seized me with violence. The lyrics say:

"Put on the garments of praise
For the spirit of heaviness;Let the oil of gladness flow down
From Your throne!"

Ireland, REJOICE! The Lord of glory is coming to you in an unprecedented explosion of His manifest presence, and all of Europe will be impacted and in awe of what God has done for you.

When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting. Then they said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them." The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad. Psalm 126

May this word stir up your hearts, renew your courage and hope, and enlarge your vision. We cannot fathom what God is about to do.

Now, Fifteen Years Later...

I have returned to Ireland several times since the above word was published in 2000 to attend intercessor's meetings and conferences.

At the end of 2013, my partner in ministry, Sandra Haven, and I felt called to return to Ireland for an extended period of time. It was then that God began to multiply our contacts, connecting us rapidly with key people, leaders, and intercessors from the North and the South. We are now based here in Northern Ireland until mid-April 2015.

Divine Appointments and Preparing the Way of the Lord for Ireland!

Shortly after we arrived, we went to a store in Bangor (Northern Ireland), and as we ascended the escalator, we were greeted at the top by two women, and one of them was telling the other that she should meet us.

The one that should meet us was Deborah, and here is her side of the story: "Coming into 2014, I felt that things were changing, and that it was a new season for me spiritually. I had been involved for several years with a group of women. Nothing had happened between us to cause a break up, it was just as if our hearts were turning in different directions – mine back to Ireland. I had had a real heart for our land years before, but it was as if something was stirring again. My friends were supportive and excited. I was back in a place where I wasn't sure what direction to take or who to meet up with! In my heart one day I asked, 'Lord, connect me with the right people.'

"Later that same day, I was out shopping and was upstairs looking around, when I met an old friend. We chatted briefly, and I can hardly remember what I said to her, or if I'd even mentioned to her about my heart for Ireland...when she got excited and said, 'Oh! You have to meet Dominique and Sandy. The Lord has called them to Ireland!' The words weren't right out of her mouth when...up the escalator came the two ladies. They were standing right in front of us! 

Wow, that was a quick answer to my prayer for the right connections! We met up that week, and it was as if we had known each other for years."

In March 2014, Deborah took us to Athlone to a meeting for intercessors and leaders. There, we met Norma, a woman I can only describe as a "Mother to the nation," an apostle, a key leader in the future of God's plan for Ireland.

This is what Norma said to us: "I was in a meeting, when I felt my arms turning constantly in motion like a locomotive, slowly at first, but then with great speed. Next, after a long period of this action, I saw this magnificent, glorious, green train with gold markings, engine and carriages. It was a brand new train that had never been out of the station. 

All carriage doors were being slammed closed one after the other – guards all in – until we came to the front where the conductor was standing with one foot on the step of the train and the other on the platform, whistle in mouth ready to blow for takeoff. Waiting, waiting, always waiting...for three long years, but when I met Dominique and Sandy, I knew that they were the people that the conductor was waiting for, and when they got on the train, it left the station." (Photo via Pixabay)

After we returned from Athlone, we visited many churches of different denominations in order to feel the spiritual pulse of Northern Ireland. Everywhere we went, in every church, concerts and various meetings, we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, mightily at work among the people.

In one of these meetings, I had an encounter with a woman that I will never forget.

This was her experience: "For many years as an intercessor I have prayed for a revival and a move of God in my beloved Ireland. On Saturday, February 19th, 2000, after our prayer time, my pastor gave a copy of a prophetic word for Ireland from Dominique Francois in Paris, which had just been published by The Elijah List. When I read this word, it hit my Spirit. I not only felt emotional, as it captured my heart, but I have faithfully prayed and declared it since as the Spirit led me in both north and south of Ireland.

"I longed to meet this prophet who so loved and cried for our land, so I asked of the Lord, 'Could I meet Dominique?' In early 2014, I heard she was in Northern Ireland, so I tried to meet her. Three times I just missed her! Although I did not know her, I felt spiritually connected to her, and a grief-like feeling came over me that I missed her again!

"Then, I was invited to a meeting on the 26th of March in 2014. I sat at the very back of the room. The worship was amazing, but during this time, I sensed the Holy Spirit say, 'If you turn around you will see Dominique!' I knew what I had heard, but I was a bit 'shaken'! In obedience I turned, and there, in that vast empty space, was a lady standing alone, lost in worship.

I gently went to her and whispered, 'Are you Dominique?' She said, 'Yes,' and I shook and cried. We hugged and couldn't let go! Our hearts were divinely connected in the Spirit. I have no words to explain the impact that first meeting had, not just for Ireland, but for me on a personal level. Dominique has imparted something beautiful and spiritual for Ireland. After carrying this prophetic word for now 15 years, I sense the power and the authority of the words given are truly only a prayer away."

Aren't these people so attractive, so passionate, and so radical about what they expect the Lord to do for their beloved land?

He Is Coming Like a Tidal Wave!

We are in Northern Ireland to encourage Believers to prepare the way of the Lord and to strive for unity. God will not release the magnificence of His presence on a divided Church. We may have different ideas, ways of worship, music, versions of the Bible, and denominations, but He wants us to display the sign that we are Christians by the way we love and prefer one another. The manifest presence of the Lord is coming like a tidal wave to Ireland, and it will definitely be unprecedented. For sure, "Aslan is on the move." He is about to mightily restore the things that have been lost. His Spirit is raising an army of people who will have the awesome mission to take that fire to the ends of the world. These people of all ages, different backgrounds, social statuses, denominations and races, will walk as one man, shoulder to shoulder, in perfect unity to bring God's mighty, end-time purpose to fruition.

May His mighty name be exalted forever!
