A 501-C3 in Israel Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,   Since two fine young men from Uganda were at a guest house near us and there were no buses on Shavuot, Pentecost, I offered to bring them to the GPC conferencewe'd been participating in at Sukkat Hallel. One is the head of Intercessors for Uganda and the other leads the intercession for Israel in this same organization. When I saw an open gate on a road while driving through Jerusalem, I thought it would be OK to enter because roads that lead to religious areas are gated off on holidays. But quickly I realized I was wrong and we drove right through the heart of Mea She’arim, the most religious stronghold of Haredim, ultra Orthodox Jews in the world! Many of the people walking toward us stopped and shouted curses at us with all their might. Three different times extremely hostile groups of men blocked the road so we couldn't move. The three of us were praying in the Spirit and asking for divine protection and each time, the hostile groups would suddenly part and let us pass by without breaking the windows or kicking the car. It was an extremely intense experience and I apologized profusely to my guests afterwards. But these godly men said that this was surely from the L-rd! They had heard of the vitriolic hatred of the Haredim but to experience it firsthand was actually positive. They said they will carry these people in their hearts and share with all the Intercessors for Uganda so they can pray strategically for their healing, deliverance and salvation so now I can't wait to see how the L-rd will answer their prayers! The first PAJ, Prophetic Artist Journey, occurred when three of my favorite artists from outside Israel met and then visited with two of my favorite Israeli artists. The trust and acceptance were immediate, the appreciation and honor were rich and the depth of conversation and edification was beautiful to behold! Another PAJ is coming soon... Wise investments Richard has been making some extremely wise investments lately, investing his time and energy into the lives of several key players - young adults who are passing through traumatic seasons. Using what he learned from the ministries of Heart Sync and Thrive Today, the L-rd has used Richard to bring healing and restoration to many broken-hearted young adults and the changes we’re seeing are miraculous - Hallelujah! Divine Bus Appointments While riding on a bus full of Haredim, I met a young woman who began to proselytize me. She invited me to join her in praying at the grave of her rabbi! “But he’s dead so why do you pray there?” I asked. “He still hears our prayers because he was a Tzadik, a righteous man,” she replied. “Even though he was considered a Tsadik, he still fell short of G-d's standard, which is perfection,” I replied with kindness. The bus made a stop and she wasn’t planning to get off there, but suddenly she ran off the bus! So then I started talking to another religious lady. We exited the bus at the next stop and had a long talk. She had overheard our conversation and said that I must be a very spiritual person. I explained that I am a Messianic Jew and then she told me she grew up in a Christian home but converted to Orthodox Judaism! Immediately she began to recite the L-rd‘s prayer but she left out “ and lead me not into temptation but deliver me from evil” so I gently added that. Again she called me a spiritual person.  We actually agreed on a lot of things and when I heard more of her story, I told her that her disappointment with Christians was because she kept her eyes on the people of יהוה not יהוה Himself. I was able to share with her a lot about Yeshua. That really seemed to touched her and she gave me a hug before leaving rather quickly...
