The Deeper Meaning of Dew ✡ "Like The Dew Of Chermon That Falls Upon The Mountains of Tzion" - Israel365

Like the dew of Chermon that falls upon the mountains of Tzion. There Hashe ordained blessing, everlasting life
Psalms 133:3 (The Israel Bible™)

The Deeper Meaning of Dew

Tal (טל), dew, is a symbol of Hashem’s (God's) bountiful blessings. Rain is another sign of Hashem's love for mankind. Rain is a sign of Hashem showering His abundant blessings freely from above.  Dew, which forms below from condensation of atmospheric water vapor, is related to the divine blessings that are a result of man’s own efforts and achievements.

A Messianic Testimony From Galilee - Charles Gardner ISRAEL TODAY

A Messianic Testimony From Galilee

Sunday, January 21, 2018 |  Charles Gardner  ISRAEL TODAY
It is an undisputed fact that the early followers of Jesus – who were mostly Jewish – came under fiery persecution, often from their own people.
Jesus himself was crucified and many of his disciples suffered similar fates, though more generally at the hands of the Romans.
However, the great apostle Paul was a leading Jewish rabbi who saw it as his duty to persecute the new movement, presiding over the stoning of St Stephen in the process…until his dramatic encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus.
In some respects, things have come full circle since then. Jewish people are once more recognising Jesus as Messiah in significant numbers, and many are experiencing discrimination from their fellow Jews, especially in Israel. (It must be said, however, that this does not usually amount to the sort of vicious persecution Christians are currently suffering in the Muslim Middle East.)
Among them is Zev Sigulim (pictured), from Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee, who has witnessed seven years of harassment from Orthodox Jews and been forced to fly to Cyprus to get married because traditional rabbis refuse to recognise Messianic Jews! Some even refused to circumcise his sons.
This is an ongoing issue for many believers, and a campaign is underway to draw the government’s attention to this gross injustice. Being Messianic is also a potential hindrance to Jews from the diaspora making Aliyah (immigrating to Israel). And yet this does not apply to Jews who follow Buddhism or some New Age religion.
But the likeable young Zev is not himself caught up with any campaign for justice. He accepts that being a disciple of Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus) has always been costly, and delights in a way of life totally informed by his faith.
From an Ultra-Orthodox background, Zev has five children and attends a congregation at Netanya on the Mediterranean coast – a one-hour drive away, quite a distance to travel each Sabbath.
A Polish Jew with blond hair and blue eyes, many of his ancestors perished in the Holocaust but his grandmother survived Auschwitz and the family moved to Israel. However, they subsequently emigrated to Toronto in Canada, where his father married a Gentile convert to Judaism and then made Aliyah to Israel, working for a Christian hi-tech company in Tiberias and becoming a secret Messianic Jew.
Tragically, he died soon afterwards in a car accident, but Zev’s mum had in the meantime noticed the change in his life and became sympathetic with this new movement in spite of opposition from the rest of the family – grandfather Jack disowned them. (Many Jews see Christianity as their chief persecutor over the centuries, especially in view of the Holocaust carried out in ‘Christian’ Europe.)
Zev’s widowed mother – pregnant with her third child at the time of her husband’s death – was impressed by the compassion and witness of the Messianic Jews of Arad in the Negev desert and also became a believer. It was at Arad that Zev witnessed the constant harassment of Orthodox Jews protesting at their presence in the city.
“There were pickets outside our house for seven years,” he said, adding: “My two brothers and I are all believers in Yeshua. But I grew up ashamed of my faith. Worried about being spat at and barred from certain activities, I kept it to myself. Then, when I was at the Naval Academy, a friend saw me reading the Bible (which is actually very unusual for Jews) and scolded me for not telling him earlier of my faith, saying: ‘Think of all the conversations we could have had.’
“It hit me that I had wasted my time and I prayed that God would give me boldness and opportunities to speak of Yeshua. Inevitably, my faith grew.”
Pointing out that 95% of Messianics have come to faith through non-Jews, Zev encourages Gentiles to share the gospel with Jews, but worries that most Christians don’t know enough about the Old Testament, which is essential for such witness.

Prophecy: God Is Commanding the Angels, 'Swing the Pendulum!' - BILL YOUNT CHARISMA NEWS

Prophecy: God Is Commanding the Angels, 'Swing the Pendulum!'

BILL YOUNT  CHARISMA NEWS
In the Spirit, I saw the angels obeying a heavenly command, pushing a huge pendulum in the opposite direction that it had previously swung, which was so far into degradation of sin and wickedness that it appeared to be unstoppable.
I then heard the Father say, "It's time to call forth the noble, the wealthy and the renowned of the earth.
The Spirit of Integrity Descends
I then saw the Spirit of Integrity begin to descend upon dignitaries, celebrities and the very elite!"
In the Spirit, I sensed the Lord saying. "There is a certain caliber of society that has been overlooked and given up hope for by many of My people, who have even stopped praying for them. But again it will be proven that it is by My Spirit, and My Spirit is being poured out upon all flesh.
The 'Elite' Come to the House of God
I saw very influential people being drawn by God's Spirit into His Kingdom. I saw dignitaries, celebrities and the very "elite" being drawn into the house of the Lord. I saw some of them coming to church in armored cars with security guards around them ... but they were coming! I saw, at times, helicopters landing in church parking lots, bringing in dignitaries from high positions of government. Some were walking through the front doors of churches with body guards because of their honor and prestige. The high and mighty were coming into Father's house now as well as the lowly.
Integrity was gripping their hearts to hunger and honor the king who, they were realizing, had given them power, wealth and high positions in the land. I saw one very prominent person, whose name was a household name known throughout the nations, put a check in the offering plate in one service that was large enough to meet the church budget for the next five years. The tithe from this one check went out from this church to support all their missionaries a full year.
These dignitaries and wealthy ones, who had been filled with God's integrity and glory, could rarely stay in one church long, because of the publicity, and because they were making some religious people uncomfortable. As a result, the Holy Spirit would lead them to different churches, to visit and receive counsel and wisdom from many different styles of worship and revelation of teaching from more than just one minister, thereby receiving the whole counsel of God. Cross-pollination was vital for them, as they would visit different churches to receive various revelations to help lead a nation. In the meantime, many churches were being blessed, experiencing the presence of integrity brought by these elite visitors from a caliber of society where integrity is rarely found. This presence was a result of the dignitary's service to the Lord in the midst of the absence of integrity.
I heard the King of kings say, "When you begin to see the kings of the earth and high government officials and the upper class being drawn into My house, honor these kings and their high positions and know that the time is soon when the King of kings and Lord of lords will soon appear in all of His glory in His house. Get used to honoring those in high places and those who are gifted with talent that astounds the world. Continue to pray, believing for their souls.
"I didn't say 'not any;' I said 'not many!'
"I have said that 'not many mighty and not many noble are called... I didn't say "not any" I said "not many!"' I have said. 'It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven," but I didn't say it was impossible for Him to enter.
The pendulum is beginning to swing. It will touch now, not only the poor and lowly, but also the rich, the famous and those in high places.
I hear God say, "All arise... the kings, queens, princes and rulers of nations are coming in on this next move."
"Swing that pendulum!"

'The Locker Room's Binding Force:' the Faith of the Philadelphia Eagles
01-20-2018
CBN News Mark Martin
Do faith and football go together? For players on the Philadelphia Eagles, the answer is a resounding "yes."
This Sunday they're in the NFC Conference Championship, and you can bet many on the team will be "prayed up."
In November, the team released a video on its Facebook page entitled, "The Locker Room's Binding Force." It's a look at the Christian faith of three players and how Christianity is a big part of the team.
Quarterback Carson Wentz, wide receiver Torrey Smith and safety/special teams Chris Maragos share their testimonies.
"I was kind of on this downward spiral because the things I was trying to place in my life to give me satisfaction would last for a little bit and then they'd fade away," Maragos said in the video. "And that was my sophomore year in high school."
"I was really at a crossroads at that point and had to make a decision on where I was going," he continued. "And that's when I gave my life to Christ, and really he supplied that satisfaction and that joy for me."
Players have the opportunity to attend chapel among other things.
"On every Monday night we have a couple's Bible study. We have a Thursday night team Bible study," Wentz explained in the video. "And then Saturday nights, we actually get together the night before the game and just kind of pray; talk through the Word; what guy's have been reading, what they're struggling with, and just kind of keep it real with each other."
"To have that here in an NFL facility like this, it's really special," he added.
"As men, you tend to be very sheltered. If I'm going through some things, I may not express that to the next man," Smith shared. "Only you can kind of expose your weaknesses and things you want to work on, whether it's in your relationship or your marriage or your family, whatever it may be."
"When you're able to talk about it amongst your brothers, amongst your family, it helps you grow," he continued. "And when you realize that you can apply Biblical principles to it, it helps us all grow."
"I think the biggest thing that we're always challenging each other with is just to not lose sight of the bigger picture," Wentz said. "I think wins, losses, highs, lows, everything that comes with this game, it's so easy to take your mind and your eyes off of the ultimate prize, and that's living for the Lord."
"And we want to be united," Maragos said. "We want to support each other; we want to support each other in our lives through the difficulties off the field as well as on the field."
"And so I think it's really kind of something to where we're all just kind of binding together to kind of keep each other sharpened and keep pushing forward," he continued.
That unity has helped propel them to the NFC Championship game this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
