The Origins of Tzion

Tzion (Zion) is often used as another name for Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). The name Tzionis first found in II Samuel 5:7 in reference to a mountain near Yerushalayim. A Jebusite fortress stood on this mountain and was conquered by David and later renamed City of David. The term Tzion came to designate the entire Jerusalem region and Solomon's Temple.

The people of Israel act as a central junction in the human network. If we try to connect positively above our differences, we let nature’s positive connective force flow through us into the entire human network. As a result, people start changing, albeit unconsciously.

Girl With No Hands Wins National Handwriting Contest for Second Time - CBN News Charlene Aaron

Girl With No Hands Wins National Handwriting Contest for Second Time
05-11-2018
CBN News Charlene Aaron
Anaya Ellick doesn't let anything stop her from doing the things she enjoys.

"I just like writing in cursive," the 9-year-old told CBN News. "If I'm sad and I draw it makes me
feel happy."

Born without hands, the third grader, who attends Greenbrier Christian Academy, uses her forearms
to write. When she was a year old, her grandmother taught her to steady the pencil between her

Her mother Bianca Middleton says the family decided against the use of a prosthesis.

"They actually started to hinder her rather than help her," said Middleton. She didn't want them
anymore. She had already started learning how to do different things without them. She learned
to write and draw without them."

In a time with mainly computer keyboards and no emphasis on writing or spelling, teachers
at the school say teaching students cursive writing is a vital part of their development.

Sara Cannady is Anaya's teacher.

"Research has shown that the part of the brain that does writing is closely related to children
learning to read and to spell," Cannady said. "And doing cursive writing they learn to look at the
word as a whole and so that is very important for their fluidity in reading and for them to be able
to write words as a whole."

School officials recently entered Anaya in a national cursive writing competition.

Anaya's work went under a category for students with cognitive delays, intellectual, physical
or developmental disabilities, which was judged by a team of occupational therapists.

Facing stiff competition and strict guidelines, the little girl with no hands came out on top.

Teachers and contest organizers say Anaya's handwriting skills are absolutely amazing.

"The people that judge the contest do it on the keys of legibility, which is the size, the shape,
the slant and the spacing of the letters so they don't all scrunch in together and when you look
at her handwriting it's just absolutely beautiful. To think that she can do that without any hands
is very impressive," said Dale Figg of contest organizer Zaner-Bloser.

"She won for a manuscript when she was in first grade so we were excited to be able to enter
her again for her cursive handwriting," said Tracy Cox, the school's elementary school teacher."

"And just to see that it's continued and it's beautiful. I mean it really is some of the best handwriting
in her class," added Cox.

Others, including Anaya's family members, are also impressed.

"It's amazing to watch and it's also motivating to like when I hit spaces, you know I'm like oh this
is impossible but I can't do this and it's like I never heard her say because I don't have, I can't,"
said her dad Andre Ellick.

"The biggest thing Anaya has taught our class is that there are no excuses," said Cannaday.

And how does Anaya feel about taking home an even bigger trophy this year?

"Proud," she commented.

Judge Jeanine Pirro: Trump Fulfills a 'Biblical Prophecy' by Moving US Embassy to Jerusalem - CBN News George Thomas

Judge Jeanine Pirro: Trump Fulfills a 'Biblical Prophecy' by Moving US Embassy to Jerusalem
05-14-2018
CBN News George Thomas
Fox News Host Judge Jeanine Pirro says Monday's opening of the new US Embassy in Jerusalem
is tinged with Biblical significance.

″Donald Trump recognized history that he, like King Cyrus before him, fulfilled the biblical prophecy
of the gods worshipped by Jews, Christians and, yes, Muslims, that Jerusalem is the eternal capital
of the Jewish state and that the Jewish people finally deserve a righteous, free and sovereign Israel,"
Pirro, who has her own show on the news network, wrote in an opinion piece for the website over
the weekend.

Calling it a "truly historic moment in Israel's history," Pirro said Trump's decision to move the
facility from Tel Aviv to the Biblical Jewish city was "cause for great celebration" and sends a
"Trump has reassured the world that his word is worth more than former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton,
George W. Bush and Obama, all of whom made the promise to move the American embassy to
Jerusalem," Pirro wrote. "His word is worth more than any treaty and stronger than any UN resolution.
He promised and he delivered."

The comparison to Trump as King Cyrus was also on the mind of Israel's prime minister during his
visit to the White House in early March.

Jewish tradition believes God used the pagan King Cyrus to help Jews return to the Land of Israel
from their exile in Babylon and rebuild the Second Temple.

2 Chronicles 36:23 describes his role: "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: The Lord, the God of
heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him
at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up, and may the Lord their God be with
them."

During his visit to the White House, which came shortly after president Trump announced his
intention to move the embassy, Mr. Netanyahu compared the president to Harry Truman, Lord Balfour
and King Cyrus.

"I want to tell you that the Jewish people have a long memory, so we remember the proclamation of
the great king, Cyrus the Great, the Persian king, 2,500 years ago," Netanyahu said in prepared remarks.

FLASHBACK: Prophet Lance Wallnau: Why Trump Is 'God's Chaos Candidate' and 'Wrecking Ball'

"He proclaimed that the Jewish exiles in Babylon could come back and rebuild our Temple in
Jerusalem. We remember a hundred years ago, Lord Balfour, who issued the Balfour Proclamation
that recognized the rights of the Jewish people in our ancestral homeland. We remember 70 years ago,
President Harry S. Truman was the first leader to recognize the Jewish state. And we remember how
a few weeks ago, President Donald J. Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Mr. President,
this will be remembered by our people through the ages."

A sentiment also echoed by former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Dore Gold who told
CBN News' Chris Mitchell that Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people for 3,000 years.

"This is the theme that's in our spiritual DNA and therefore when the president of the United States
moves the US Embassy to Jerusalem and recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital, he is addressing
something at the core of Jewish identity," Gold told CBN News.

Gore further told Mitchell that Trump's embassy move can be compared to that of the biblical king.

"That was a huge charitable act on his part, which is in our historical memory and the fact that now
President Trump is going to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem puts him in a special category and

A Michigan man says his security cameras picked up footage of an angel with a sword recently.
"I said, 'That's an angel!' And I was just blown away, I couldn't wait to send it to my wife and send it to [Pastor] Deneille [Moes]. And I said, 'I got an angel, and my camera took a picture of an angel,'" Glen Thorman tells WNDU.
"It was really clear to me the minute I looked at the photo, I just kind of freaked out a bit," Moes, the pastor of Jordan Rivers Church, says. "I went like 'Whoa! That's an angel!' And I texted him back, 'That's an angel.' There wasn't any doubt in my mind that we were looking at something supernatural."
The photos were posted to Jordan Rivers' Facebook page along with several other miraculous reports.
