Christians Persecuted by ISIS: 'God Will Use This Hell to Perform a Miracle'

The Islamic State has pushed its way across Iraq and Syria, devastating entire cities and families. This hasn't stopped faithful believers from trusting God to restore their lives. 

"We see destruction all around us," Ryan Mauro, a national security analyst, told Breitbart News after walking through the ancient city of Qaraqosh. 

While ISIS fighters have wreaked havoc everywhere, they say their favorite prey are Christians. They have toppled down Christian homes and left church sanctuaries as burnt skeletons of the building they once were. 

However, Christians remain firm. 

"On a few occasions, I heard the line, 'We don't worship a God of buildings. Our God is in here,' while pointing toward their hearts," he said of local Christian.
 
Some say their faith is even stronger than it was before. 

"The ones who I walked around Qaraqosh with were adamant that their faith is even stronger than it was before and vowed to reopen the burned church and fill it with an even bigger crowd than before," the national security analyst explained. "To them, God will use this hell they've endured to perform a miracle."

While they do not know what their future holds, many Christians and fighters on the frontlines are looking to America to help.

"The Kurds, the Kakai Kurdish minority and the Christians directly and passionately asked me to relay a request to President Trump: for him to personally come visit with them and for the U.S. to provide political and military support. A safe zone for the persecuted minorities should immediately become an official objective of U.S. policy," Mauro said.

In the meantime, they will continue praying for the day their cities will be restored.

Coming soon to a public school near you: The Planned Parenthood Club, where students are indoctrinated about all the "good things" the abortionist organization does for women and how "reproductive rights" trump all other God-given rights.

Actually, it's called the Planned Parenthood Generation Action, and its goals are:

• to provide education, outreach, and advocacy opportunities to support the goals of Planned Parenthood;
• to create a network with other students who support Planned Parenthood; and
• to engage in the political process to win elections and pass "pro-reproductive freedom" legislation.

The PPGA website states:

Planned Parenthood Generation Action is a movement of young people across identities and issues that organizes with, by and for their generation in order to achieve reproductive freedom; led by the Youth Organizing Team at Planned Parenthood which leverages their expertise in youth organizing, leadership development, voter engagement programs and infrastructure to motivate, empower, train and provide resources to support young people, affiliates, and partners in building power nationally.

According to the list of "more than 275" chapters, they are all located on college campuses. Most of them are not identifying by the PPGA name, perhaps as a means to escape public scrutiny.

But Breitbart News is reporting the program is now moving into its first high school campus, the Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies in Richmond, Virginia. According to the report, the club held its first meeting a little more than a month ago.

The high school for gifted students noted in its morning announcements the club was a means for "getting community service hours this election season." The PPGA website advocates for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton with its "I'm With Her to Pink-Out the Vote" campaign, and includes an article titled "It's Up to Us to Bring [Donald] Trump Down."

When Pope Francis steps foot in the White House, reports say he'll be greeted not only by the president, but by people who live contrary to Catholic teaching.  

"In a time of global upheaval, the Holy Father's message of compassion and human dignity has moved people of all faiths and backgrounds," says Speaker of the House John Boehner. "His teachings, prayers, and very example bring us back to the blessings of simple things and our obligations to one another. We look forward to warmly welcoming Pope Francis to our Capitol and hearing his address on behalf of the American people." 

Breitbart News reports the pope's welcoming reception will include Gene Robinson, Mateo Williamson and Vivian Taylor.  

Robinson was the first openly gay bishop in the U.S. Episcopal church. He divorced his partner of 11 years in 2003. Williamson identifies as transgender and has been part of a documentary called Owning Our Faith about LGBT Catholics. Meanwhile, Taylor is the director of Integrity USA, which promotes the inclusion of LGBTQ lifestyles in the Episcopal church. 

The three are part of a "cross-section of U.S. religious life," which will also include Rev. Samuel Rodriguez and megachurch pastor Joel Hunter, the Associated Press reports.   

"I think it's so important that the pope is visiting because his global message is especially important for the United States," Sister Simone Campbell tells the AP. Campell is part of Nuns on the Bus and a pro-abortion advocate. "His message of changing our throwaway culture and to address the crisis of exploitation is really the key to changing our world to be more inclusive in the economy and more caretaking about the earth — and a lot of this policy starts in the U.S." 

Pope Francis is to arrive on Sept. 22, according to USA Today.
