Today's Israel Inspiration

The biblical story of David vs Goliath, described in today's verse, gives us tremendous encouragement as Israel stands on the frontline against massive enemies. No matter how uneven the odds, God grants victory to whomever He desires. While our enemies come with modern day "spears and javelins" the small nation of Israel defends the Land "in the name of the Lord." The LIBI Fund provides extra warm army gear to our brave soldiers on guard protecting the Nation this winter.

IDF Soldiers in Urgent Need of Extra Warm Clothing

Though IDF soldiers are provided with basic gear, the need for high-quality coats, long johns, warm socks, gloves and hats are in great demand.

Journey of Hope - The Story of Ilan Ramon, obm, Israel's
First Astronaut

Ilan Ramon, obm, was an Israeli air force fighter pilot, who famously became the first Israeli astronaut for NASA. He and his fellow crew members were killed on the fatal mission of the Columbia space shuttle. This book chronicles Ramon’s journey from air force pilot to astronaut, and includes NASA photographs, an interview with Ilan Ramon, and articles about Israel’s deeply mourned first astronaut.

Choosing the next American President - Joel Rosenberg

Joel-FRC-VVS15

New post on Joel C. Rosenberg's Blog

When it comes to choosing the next American President, what lessons can we draw from the Biblical stories of Josiah, Samuel and David? (My address to the Values Voter Summit)

by joelcrosenberg
I addressed the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C.
[To watch the video of my remarks, please click here.]
After most of the GOP presidential candidates had spoken, I was the last general session speaker at the two-day Summit. In my remarks, I focused on the darkness falling upon the Middle East -- and particularly the emerging threat of Apocalyptic Islam -- as well as why America is currently on the road to implosion unless we dramatically change course.
Rather than spend extensive time looking at the many existential challenges we face, however, I focused mostly on how we might best approach choosing the next American President. Who would be best candidate to lead America in 2017 and beyond? Who has the right character, vision, and detailed, substantive, serious plans for reform? Who has the wisdom, experience and sound judgment? Who is ready for the enormous and complicated challenges facing this great country?
I noted that I have been praying about this and studying the Scriptures for many months, asking the Lord for clarity, and here is what I have concluded: America also needs a Josiah. A President cannot save America from all our troubles. We desperately need a massive spiritual revival, a Third Great Awakening that transform hearts and minds from the Carolinas to California. But leadership matters. We need a leader like the one-time King of Judah whom the Bible describes as one of the most humble, strong, courageous, wise and impressive leaders in Jewish history.
In addition, I noted the story of the Hebrew prophet Samuel. The Bible tells us that Samuel was sent by God to the house of Jesse in Bethlehem to anoint the next King of Israel. The first person Samuel saw in Jesse's home looked like just the right guy. But God said no, this wasn't the one He had chosen. Then the next person Samuel saw looked like the right choice. But again God said no. This happened again and again until finally the Lord directed Samuel to anoint David -- who wasn't even in the room when Samuel began his search.
As we examine and study all the candidates, let us be prayerful and careful. Is it possible someone we're not carefully considering right now might be the one the Lord is raising up? Is it possible that someone at or near the bottom in the polls -- or just beginning to creep up in the polls -- has more to offer than we realize? I can't say if God will give us a Josiah -- or a David -- but let us not be hasty in making a decision, but watching carefully and seeking the Lord's counsel.
Finally, I noted that sometimes God doesn't raise up leaders after His own heart to lead a nation. Sometimes He requires His children to live under tyranny. Consider the story of Pastor Saeed Abedini. For three years, Saeed has been held in prison in Iran for preaching the Gospel and living for Christ. He has no immediate hope of a Josiah or a David coming to power in Iran. But he still is trying to cling to Christ and serve His Savior faithfully. We need to be praying for him to be brave and strong and healthy and released soon. And we need to consider his example -- could we be faithful for Christ amidst tyranny?
God help us all.

Midnight Watch Word

Midnight Watch Word

1972401_10152673406659936_4377055364674753343_nMidnight Watch Word

Prayer is often stored up in the heavens, awaiting the appropriate time of release. The Bible describes a “fullness of time” that signals a release of pent-up prayer reaching a tipping point and being poured out upon the earth.
During the 1980s, through to the last decade, there have been many desperate calls to fasting and prayer. Many 40-day and 21-day fasts have been called for. What happened to all those prayers for revival in America? What ever became of all those dedicated hours of intercession? I will tell you what happened…they have been stored up for the right time.
Like money in the bank, the currency of intercession can follow one generation and fall on another. Many kings in David’s lineage were blessed “for the sake of David” long after David was gone. Likewise the prayers of many saints are stored up for the Last Days’ outpouring on many Nations.
The time is nearing when God shall pour out His visitation upon Nations. America is sensing a crisis…it is near. But so is the outpouring of Amazing Grace. What does Heaven wait for?
When the dove left Noah’s Ark it went looking for a place for the sole of its foot. The Spirit of God is looking over the people of God and preparing a company for the dove to land. God will have a fresh company to carry a mighty Apostolic Evangelism mantle. It will arise in the midst of trouble. “When the enemy comes in…like a flood…the Spirit of The Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Some see the enemy coming as a flood. Others teach that the Lord’s standard arises like a flood. Either way, the heavens are about to unleash the pent-up prayers of the ages. The latter rain is upon us.
Get ready!

Although we can argue persuasively on legal, historical and moral grounds why every inch of the State of Israel belongs to the Jews, our greatest claim to sovereignty comes from the Bible which refers repeatedly to God’s choosing of Jerusalem for the Jewish People as in today’s verse. If you agree, please sign the Jerusalem Covenant below! Our signatures will be presented to the Knesset to show international support for our eternal capital.

"Patience. Just Wait A Minute." - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Patience. Just Wait A Minute (or longer).
by Steve Martin

“Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ (Messiah).” (2 Thess. 3:5 NKJV)

Patience doesn’t develop overnight. Awesome reality, right? It takes a few minutes to develop.

Those of you who remember the Polaroid cameras, with the “instant” photos (back in the 1960’s) knew you had to wait a while for the white paper to turn color. If we wanted the best picture possible, having that technology then, we had to wait about three minutes. For this generation, the digital photo is right there on your smartphone the second you take it. No wonder our grandkids don’t know how to wait!

When I read in Scripture the verse I shared above, I was amazed at just the thought of how much patience the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) really does have. Think of it for a moment. Paul prays that the Lord would direct our hearts into the patience of Christ, our Messiah. For that patience to be continually ongoing and be manifested towards us and through us.

The Lord has waited until now for you to do that which He instructed you to do last week. He is still waiting for you to complete the job He gave you last month. And that assignment you are still working on from 10 years ago? Yes, He is still waiting. His patience is beyond our human understanding.

I have an old photo of the Grand Canyon, mounted on the front of a piece of wood so it can hang on the wall. It has thus been on my wall for a few decades now. The caption reads, “God’s work takes time.” What an image! It certainly does! (I should put it next to the old generational photos of our ancestral families Laurie has hanging in our home’s main entrance hallway. His creation of them took some time too!)

Community in the last days will consist of people who are walking in patience. We will have learned that God’s work takes time, but that He is always on time. Never early. Never late.

Our maturity in this fruit of the Holy Spirit, Ruach HaKodeh, will have reached a point that we are not anxious about when God will do something, but knowing that He certainly will do it, as He said He would. (Gal 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, self control.” CJB)

Just look at Israel and the Jews. The entire land was first promised to Abraham centuries ago. Time and again the Jews were driven out, but always brought back to their Promised Land by His Mighty Hand of Providence. Again, just in the last century, after being scattered throughout all the nations, He has brought them back again. What a patient God we serve!

Even now the Lord is growing patience in your heart. If you think of a coin with its two sides, not only has He shown you how long He has waited for your obedience in situations, but on the other side of the coin, He has also been causing you to wait on others, giving them time to grow in their faith walk. He is allowing us to realize that we each need time to hear, respond and obey as He speaks. When we do, our understanding of His everlasting patience grows. We then tend to allow others the needed time to get where He knows they should be.

What our God did in Abraham’s life, David’s life, and those women who waited for the promise of a child to come forth are further examples for us to follow. We need to learn from them in our understanding of patience, as we wait upon the Lord to fulfill personal promises in our lives. The Lord’s molding of our Jewish patriarch Abraham, the father of faith, allows us to see the years he had to have patience grow, for the promised son Isaiah to come. And even though he wavered in that, resulting in the birth of Ishmael, the Lord God didn’t withdraw His Word. The Lord’s patience with him allowed Abraham’s faith to see the promise.

We all know the story of Joseph – how patience had to be worked out in his own heart - with time in prison and then during the role of being second only to Pharaoh in government. This was part of the Lord’s plan in Joseph’s life. The Lord was allowing the years to go by, while also waiting for Joseph’s brothers to come to the point of seeing him again, and repenting of their deed.

Whether Joseph actually thought he would see his brothers again or not wasn’t the main point, but I believe the Lord taught Joseph a valuable lesson in having patience through this long ordeal. When the fruit was ripe, he was allowed to eat.

In considering the ongoing evil that takes place in the hearts of men, I have often asked the Lord why He waits so long before He does something about it, before His righteous judgment comes forth. (Oh, He will act. History has proven that.) It is because of His long suffering patience, wanting to give man every opportunity to repent and turn to Him, that His timing operates on a different clock than ours.

Patience first comes from the Lord for our lives. Then it grows in us as a fruit of the Holy Spirit - in our attitude and action toward others. We are then understanding why He waits so long, and allows things in our lives to seemingly go on past our expected done date. He is unfolding His perfect plan and purposes for us, and the peoples of the nations.

He is not quick to act, but He is sure to act for His plans and purposes. When the appointed time has come, the patience we have been allowed to grow will have been all worth it. And it will not be a minute too late.

"Is God Done With This Earth, With America, With Israel?" - Kim Clement

Kim Clement:
"Is God Done With This Earth,
With America,
With Israel?"

God Is Not Finished With This Earth Yet

January 18, 2014 – From The Den:

You know, the Spirit of the Lord has clearly spoken that the promise that He has given to the nations of the earth – you are entering that season and time.

"It doesn't matter what leader you have politically in any country, I have taken complete charge, and I will put My words in their mouth; and some of them will even have a lying spirit in their mouths. It doesn't matter, for ultimately, My will shall be done."

Now, this is the promise of the Lord. There are unique visitations, and manifestations, and displays that are going to take place in the heavens, and take place on the earth.

You may say, "We've heard this before," but God It Is Finished, by Jennifer Pagesays, "It's nothing like you're going to see."

God said, "It's nothing like you're going to see. What you've seen before is nothing compared to the shaking that's taking place in the heavens. I will use My hand to write across the skies. I'll use My hand to write across the silver screen.

"This year My name will be pronounced through the major networks throughout the earth.

They shall speak about Jesus; they shall speak about the Christ; they shall speak about Yahweh. They shall say, 'Why are we seeing so much of the Lord and the Bible?'

Because," God says, "I ain't finished with this earth yet! I've only just begun," says the Lord.

God Has a Plan To Protect America And Her Troops

January 22, 2014 – Prophetic Workshop:

Listen to me; every one of you can hear me out. God has already told me about something that is going to happen or has been planned for the month of February by a terrorist. They have focused on the United States of America, and in my prayer this morning, I knew that it was my duty to take the word that He gave me as a young boy; and he took me back to the hills of Uitenhage, where I started, and He gave me a promise.

He said, "I will send you to a land that will love you and embrace you, and that land you will protect by prayer; and that land you will protect by sharing the secrets of God."

That land is America; that land is Israel.

United In Christ, by Jennifer PageAnd He said to me when I was 20-something years of age, "I'll groom you, I'll train you, I'll put you through every kind of experience – valley and mountain – so that you will qualify to stand on a platform and speak to the great nation of this earth and protect them."

(Photo of USA and Israel flags via The Elijah List Store by Jennifer Page)

Hence in 1996, when I stood in Detroit, Michigan, and I prophesied about a terrorist attack, and then I said, "Never again will this happen to this magnitude," it hasn't. There have been attempts, but I'll tell you this – they are planning, in the month of February, God said, and into the spring, to do various attacks that are very subtle, very unusual.

But He has already told His prophet, who does not believe in the destruction of America.

He will not share His secrets with those who believe in the destruction of America. He will not share His secrets with those that look down on the military and look down upon our soldiers and say, "What are you fighting for? This nation has no worth at all."

ElijahList Prophetic Resources

I disagree, and that's why I put those soldiers on in the beginning of the show (referring to the opening segment of the broadcast), because this is my show and I will say exactly what God told me.

He said, "I will protect these troops from the dangers that are coming in February and March and I will make sure that they are exposed, one after the other, and this very subtle thing that the enemy is trying to bring, and the terror, the act of terrorism in this nation, I will cause My prophet to pray in his garden and prophesy until there is preservation and this nation rises; and by the summer it will once again say, 'We can see the light, we can see the light.'

"There has been one exposure after the other, and as a result of it," God said, "I will rise up in the midst of it and cause My Son to shine upon this nation again. I've given you that promise before, but this is different." God said, "You've entered into a whole brand new time of accelerated favor that's not only for My people, but that's for the people of the nations of the earth that believe it and would proclaim it," says the Spirit of the Living God.

God Never Forgets His Promises

February 1, 2014 – From The Den:

"Why are you downcast, O soul? Why are you downcast, O soul? Is not the Lord, the Almighty, able? Consider the antiquity of His covenant – before the Daystar began and before the stars made their rounds, you were in His mind, on His mind, and in His heart.

Covenant Promise by Jennifer Page"Consider the antiquity of this great covenant. Would I forget your soul? Would I forget My promise? The same God who directs the earth in its orbit, the same God who feeds the fiery furnace of the sun, the same God who trims the lamps of Heaven, who takes from dust, breathes, and life comes, has promised, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.' Why do you question this same God, as promised?

(Photo of heart via The Elijah List Store by Jennifer Page)

"Therefore, today, I speak to the stronghold, for when David ran to the cave of Adullam, to the stronghold of Adullam, he was running, seeking refuge. David was on the run until he found a place of refuge, which became a stronghold.

Therefore, he was afraid. Therefore, David had to stand, waiting for the enemy to come, and the prophet Gad came to him and said, 'David, you do not belong in Adullam! Get away and go to Judah! Go to the place of praise and I will destroy your enemy.' David stood and left the stronghold and freedom came.

"Therefore," the Lord says to you today, "leave the cave of Adullam. Do not stay there, for you have been stifled; you have been held back.

I free you today from the cave of Adullam where you have sought refuge, but it has become a stronghold upon you. Arise and come to Judah and watch what I do with your soul today," says the Lord!
