It's a new era in Jewish evangelism! - ONE FOR ISRAEL

It is truly unprecedented.  We receive messages on a daily basis of Jewish people finding the truth about Yeshua the Messiah, and wanting to know more. Of course, we are delighted to help them find answers to all their questions! "You   will seek Me and find Me, when you will search for Me with all your heart.    Then I will be found by you," says the Lord. (Jer 29:13-14)  Millions of Israelis are watching our videos explaining the truth about Yeshua. HELPING HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS Like any major city, our city has areas where there are many living below the poverty line, many of whom survived the Holocaust. Our staff team regularly go and visit these people to take food and supplies, seeking not only to give practical help, but also to bring some comfort, encouragement, and love in the name of the Lord.  ANGELINA UPDATE Thank you to all those who have been joining us in prayer for Angelina Korotki, the daughter of our dear faculty member, Dr. Oleg Korotky, who was in a very serious car accident. Angelina sustained life threatening injuries, including head injuries. Angelina left Israel to study at Master College in California at the end of the summer. She is a godly young lady who loves to sing. In the past few weeks, Angelina Korotky has made remarkable progress, but she was still not speaking. Then on the first of January, she sang "Jesus Loves Me" and said "Happy New Year!" We, as well as the Korotky family, are so deeply thankful to our Lord and Savior! A NEW ERA IN JEWISH EVANGELISM - MILLIONS WATCHED OUR EVANGELISTIC VIDEOS IN 2016! Jewish Evangelism: Speaking in Tongues Is a Key

I believe God has given me an effective ministry in Jewish evangelism because of my faithfulness in praying in tongues.

If you had X-ray vision and looked inside yourself, would you see a gigantic spirit?

Paul understood how to develop his spirit. He said in 1 Corinthians 14:18, "I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than you all."

The man God used to write most of the New Testament spoke in tongues more than any other believer. Why? He wanted to be led by the Spirit, not the flesh.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God" (Rom. 8:14). Paul also realized that speaking in tongues edified his spirit man. "He who speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself" (1 Cor. 14:4). The word "edify" in the dictionary means to build or increase. And the meaning in Greek is best understood as charging up a dead car battery!

I was saved in the 1970s during the charismatic renewal movement. Jonathan Bernis, now head of Jewish Voice Ministries International, and I would pray together in tongues for hours. I do not believe he or I would have such large Jewish ministries today if we had not prayed in the Spirit!

We literally prophesied our future. 1 Corinthians 14:2 says, "For he who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to men, but to God. For no one understands him, although in the spirit, he speaks mysteries." By praying in unknown tongues, we prayed the mysteries of our future with 100 percent faith. These prayers were perfect because they came from God. And since it was "unknown" tongues, the devil did not know how to try to abort God's plan!

Your very life could be dependent on praying in the Spirit. When I pray in tongues, I release angels to thwart the schemes of the devil. My mind may not know what the devil has planned, but the Spirit of God in me does! I am convinced I was able to lead my Orthodox Jewish father into the kingdom on his deathbed because of praying in tongues.

A voice from heaven is shouting, "I desire that you all speak in tongues" (1 Cor. 14:5). You are meshuga (Hebrew for "crazy") if you do not pray in tongues at least one hour a day! Don't be meshuga! — Sid Roth

Millions Watch Testimony of Jewish Believer in Yeshua

An online evangelism effort by local Israeli Messianic Jews has become something of an Internet sensation over the past month after the video testimony of an Jewish man who came to faith in Yeshua (Jesus) went viral.

Mottel Baleston’s was just one of the latest in a series of video testimonies titled “I Met Messiah” produced by the Israeli Messianic group One For Israel in cooperation with Chosen People Ministries.

But Baleston’s testimony apparently touched a nerve, and by the first week of June well over five million people had viewed the brief video explanation of how he had many years earlier come to faith as a young man in Brooklyn.

Growing up, Baleeston was acquainted with a large number of Italian Catholics, leading him to believe that Jesus must be Italian. In the video he explains how “the understanding that [Yeshua is] actually Jewish was a shock. And then to hear that the New Testament was written by Jews, I couldn’t believe it. …when I open it, I’m reading a story written by Jews about Jewish people.”

What followed as a natural progression for a young man seeking spiritual truth. “As I came to faith that Yeshua - that Jesus was the Messiah, it was clear that that was the most Jewish thing I could do,” he recalled. “This is the One who was promised in our Bible.”

The most tear-jerking part of the testimony is when Baleston recounts convincing his father to attend a lecture by an author he knew to be a believer. Baleston was happily stunned when both he and his father raised their hands when asked by the speaker for all Jewish believers in Yeshua to identify themselves.

One For Israel director Eitan Bar told Israel Today that Baleston’s testimony had opened a lot of doors. By press time, it had been shared over 175,000 times on Facebook and had a “reach” (number of personal profiles on which it was viewed) of well over 15 million on the largest social network.

“It sparked discussions among many Jewish groups,” said Bar. “I myself got into discussions with Orthodox Jewish Rabbis from the USA and France about Yeshua!”

Bar concluded that he felt “like we are changing the direction of Jewish evangelism. After 1,900 years the Gospel is finally ‘going forth from Zion’ (Ps. 14:7).”
