A love that changes lives - ONE FOR ISRAEL

Dr. Erez Soref, President of ONE FOR ISRAEL  Shalom! Last Thursday we held a praise and worship evening on the third night of Hanukkah, coming before Yeshua together as one in Him. We have been reading about Paul's great love for the Thessalonian believers at the end of 1 Thessalonians 2, where he describes them as his crown! Paul's passion for building up believers in love is a great inspiration to us. Yeshua coming to us in the flesh is such a clear expression of God's great love for us, and as we grow in love for Yeshua together, we also grow in love for one another. This is the love that changes lives. It is wonderful at this special holiday time to focus on our savior, Yeshua, and celebrate what He has done in our lives. We are so grateful for all he has done for us personally, as a nation, and through this ministry, ONE FOR ISRAEL. At this time of year, we are reminded Yeshua is the best gift the world could ever know. God has given Himself to us, and we, in turn, gladly give our lives to Him.   We are so grateful to you for your support and love for Israel and the Middle East. Lives are being changed before our eyes!   Why Do Some People Object To Christmas? December 25th: A joyful day to celebrate the Messiah coming to earth...or a hijacked pagan holiday? Does the date really matter? And how did it become the 25th of December anyway? Some are keen to steer clear of anything approximating idol worship and will avoid such traditions like the plague. However, as we shall see, there are also good reasons to say there is nothing wrong with Christmas decorations and celebrations, or even the very date of December 25th. Continue reading... A few days ago, in true grinch fashion, the Mayor of Nazareth announced that the annual public Christmas festivities and street celebrations in the city of Nazareth were cancelled.The mayor explained to The Times of Israel that his decision was in response to President Donald Trump's recent announcement that the United States officially recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital and will move the American embassy to Jerusalem. The mayor told the paper, "The decision [by Donald Trump regarding Jerusalem] has taken away the joy of the holiday, and we will thus cancel the festivities this year." Continue reading...
