If You Have the Anna Anointing of Prophetic Intercession, You Must Discern This

Heaven is ready to invade the earth with undeniable power as in the days of the Book of Acts. There is a great awakening on the horizon filled with glorious revival. This revival will not happen in a vacuum. Prayer must precede revival.

In Isaiah 62:6-7, those who make mention of the Lord are prophetic intercessors God is raising up on the earth. The phrase "make mention" is key in describing the function of those with an Anna anointing. "Make mention" comes from the Hebrew word zachar. It means "to remember, bring into mind, recollect; also, to mention, meditate upon, mark down, record, recall and retain in one's thoughts." The special company of women with the Anna anointing will take hold of the altar of God in prayer, reasoning with the Lord and reminding Him of His promises for mankind. I believe Anna was the beginning of the fulfillment of this prophetic promise. There is a generation of women who will fast and pray, preparing the way for the glory and power of the Lord to come on the earth.

Prayer is the primary way God has chosen to release His power on the earth. The prophetess Anna's primary assignment was in the temple or house of God. She was an intercessory prophetess. Through her fasting and prayers she helped prepare the way for the coming of the Lord. I believe she represented the wise virgins in Matthew 25—she had her lamp trimmed, burning and filled with oil of the Spirit. She was not sleeping or slumbering—she set up a prayer vigil, and she paid a price. Her praying day and night represented the power of the watch of the Lord. It represented relentless, urgent prayer. Those with the Anna anointing will understand the power of praying in the day and praying in the night. read more

Jonathan Cahn Unlocks the Miracle of Specificity

This miracle is astounding. (Pexels/Katii Bishop)
From our vantage point on a small hill near the school, we observed a young family of tent dwellers, a father, a mother and their newborn baby, sitting outside a solitary tent in the middle of a large plain in the desert night.

"A poor family," said the teacher, "holding their newborn baby out in the elements, under the stars. It could almost be a scene from Scripture, from Bethlehem. Can you fathom the miracle of it? The God who created the universe now a helpless baby inside the universe He created...the Almighty become the weakest of beings ... the hands that stretched out the heavens now too weak to even grasp the hand of His mother...the eyes that see all things now can barely focus...the mouth that spoke the universe into existence now can only offer up the cry of a helpless baby. How amazing is that? It is the miracle of love ... the humility of love ... and the miracle of specificity."

"Specificity?"

"God is omnipresent, everywhere at once. But in the Incarnation, He becomes specific to time and space, to only one point of space and to only one moment of time. God is universal, the light of the world, the spring of all existence. Yet now He becomes specific to one culture, one people, one tribe, one house, one genealogy, one family, one life. The universal God of all existence becomes a Jewish baby, a Jewish boy, then a Jewish rabbi, walking in sandals on the ground and dust of first-century Judea.

Everything He does is now contained in one specific place and one specific moment of time. He forgives specific sinners, embraces specific outcasts, multiplies specific loaves of bread and touches specific people and heals them of their infirmities."

"How does one apply that?" I asked. read more

What to Do When You Just Don't Feel Thankful

For some, the holidays are only a reminder of sadness. (Unsplash/Aricka Lewis)
Have you ever been so horrifically devastated by life's circumstances that the words, "Thank you, Jesus" get stuck in your throat? You know the words of Paul, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1 Thess. 5:18) but somehow you don't feel like giving thanks for what you are currently facing.

If you just received a bad report from the doctor, lost your job (especially before the holidays), were handed an eviction notice, divorce papers or news that a loved one unexpectedly died, your first words, if any, might not be, "Thank you, Lord." Yet we're admonished to do just that, but we can only do it by the grace (empowerment) of God.

The holidays are upon us, and for some, it's the happiest time of the year, but for others, it's the saddest. It's easy to give thanks when you feel blessed but very hard for those who are suffering. This year has been devastating to the many who lost their homes and loved ones in the California wildfires. Others faced horrific losses through hurricanes, floods and tornadoes. Not to mention the unexpected mass murder in Las Vegas and the most recent attack on worshippers in a small town in Texas.

They will sit across the Thanksgiving table somewhere this week even though their pain is great and the wounds are still open. God understands. He's the God of all comfort.

Jesus promised us that in this world (system) we would have tribulation but admonished us to "be of good cheer" because He has overcome the world (see John 16:33). He suffered more than any one of us, yet when facing His betrayer at the Last Supper, He stopped to give thanks before sharing his heart and the bread with His disciples. read more
