Israel Will Respond Strongly to Palestinian Terror

Standing With Israel
While Israel is under constant attack, with four attacks in one day alone this week, the nation is united in vowing to eradicate Palestinian terrorism.
Yair Lapid a leader of the opposition noted: "If someone attacks with a butcher knife and storms at an Israeli citizen, I am not willing to have a discussion about his motives. If someone comes out with an ax and attacks a woman at the bus stop, I am not ready to have a debate on the most polite way to neutralize him.

If Abu Mazen (PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas) is selling lies to his people even though he knows it encourages violence and bloodshed, I will not be among those who ignore it. The silence of the left against Abbas is a new level of complete disillusionment with their philosophy. What lies in front of it is a simple and absolute truth: Jewish blood is not cheap."
While the media wrongly portrays Israel's response to terror as equal to Palestinian terrorism, Israel's viewpoint can be summarized by the ideological leader of the Likud, Netanyahu's political party.
As Ze'ev Jabotinsky said in 1938, "Human society is based on reciprocity. If you remove reciprocity, justice becomes a lie. A person walking somewhere on a street has the right to live only because and only to the extent that he acknowledges my right to live.
But, if he wishes to kill me, to my mind he forfeits his right to exist—and this also applies to nations. Otherwise, the world would become a racing area for vicious predators, where not only the weakest would be devoured, but the best."
Expect a strong price to be paid by those who murder in Israel. This terrorist jihad must end.

UN Body Helps Palestinians 'Rewrite' Biblical History - CBN News

UN Body Helps Palestinians 'Rewrite' Biblical History

JERUSALEM, Israel -- A United Nations body declared two Jewish biblical holy sites to be Islamic and accused Israel of mistreating Palestinians on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City.
Israel says UNESCO is helping Palestinians to rewrite biblical history and transform the Israeli-Palestinian conflict into a religious one. UNESCO has become an instrument in the hands of the Arabs and the Palestinians.
The U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization passed a resolution Wednesday declaring the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem are an integral part of Palestine. Earlier, they claimed both as mosques.
Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said the declaration helps Palestinians promote their political narrative.
"It is an attempt by the Arab side, and by the Palestinians, to change history and pretend as if those places, which are holy places for Judaism, which have been holy places for Judaism for thousands of years, are actually Palestinian or Muslim holy places," Nahshon told CBN News.
Historical evidence indicates that the biblical forefathers -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- were buried in the Cave of the Patriarchs, along with their wives.
The site of Rachel's Tomb is believed to be the burial place of the biblical matriarch, Rachel, the favored wife of Jacob.
The resolution stopped short of including the Western Wall as part of the al-Aksa compound, as Palestinians had hoped. It would have renamed the Western Wall Plaza "al-Buraq," after Mohammed's winged horse.
"Even such an organization -- such as UNESCO, which has become a puppet in the hands of the Palestinians -- there is a limit to what you can do. But I have no doubt that they will try again," Nahshon said.
The resolution also accuses Israel of "aggression" on the Temple Mount. Yet Palestinians have repeatedly attacked police and visitors to the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism.
The current wave of terrorism is a reaction to what they say are Israeli attempts to change the status quo. Israel denies any changes there.
"This Palestinian initiative is certainly related to what we live here on the ground -- Palestinian violence, Palestinian incitement -- and also the attempt to transform a conflict into a religious conflict," Nahshon explained.
Earlier, Palestinians set fire to the tomb of the biblical patriarch Joseph. Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas condemned that arson attack, but Nahshon said it's a sign of what would happen if Palestinians were in charge.
"The Palestinian arson of Joseph's Tomb demonstrates very clearly what would be the fate of Jewish holy sites if they were under Palestinian control," he said.
Dr. Cornelius Bekker, from Regent University, said Christians should care because it's their history, too.
"The history of Israel is about God's choice," Bekker explained. "God chose Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, the very tomb here that's now been set on fire. And so we feel a kinship with Israel because it's about God's choice and it's our history. Jesus was a Jew, Paul was a Jew, [members of] the early Church were all Jewish."

Oprah's 'Belief' Leads Millions Into False Religious Deception - CHARISMA Jennifer LeClaire (Watchman on the Wall)

It's marketing spin for her new series, Belief, which the media pioneer describes as a "groundbreaking" television event exploring humanity's ongoing search to connect with something greater than ourselves.

Oprah's 'Belief' Leads Millions Into False Religious Deception

Jennifer LeClaire is now sharing her reflections and revelations through Walking in the Spirit. Listen at charismapodcastnetwork.com.

For the past several weeks, Oprah Winfrey has been sharing her heart about how of the Bible has impacted her life and how God gives her great joy. The only problem is, we aren't really sure which god she is glorifying but she's leaving Jesus out of the equation (or at least putting other gods on the same pedestal next to Him).
Let's be clear. Oprah's sudden river of religious talk is not based on some newfound appreciation for Christianity. It's marketing spin for her new series, Belief, which the media pioneer describes as a "groundbreaking" television event exploring humanity's ongoing search to connect with something greater than ourselves.
Again, no mention of Jesus. There's definitely double-mindedness going on. Oprah
has insisted she is a Christian. But a well-circulated YouTube video shows her arguing vehemently that Jesus is not the only way to the Father. And she flat out allowed no-hell Rob Bell to trash the Bible on her broadcast.
"This original series invites viewers to witness some of the world's most fascinating spiritual journeys through the eyes of the believers," the show's website explains. "Journeying to the far reaches of the world, and to places cameras have rarely been,Belief searches the origins of diverse faiths and the heart of what really matters. From the epic to the intimate, webbed throughout each hour are stories of people on spiritual journeys, taking them to sacred spaces ..."

No, Oprah is not celebrating Jesus. She's taking people on a "spiritual" journey that includes many faiths and challenging them to ask the question: What do you believe? As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord Jesus Christ, thank you.
And so will Franklin Graham. The evangelist set the record straight on Belief, arguing there are not many paths to God or to eternal life with Him.
"A personal relationship with Almighty God through His Son Jesus Christ is the only thing that can fill the void in the human heart," Graham said. "This is not a matter of opinion--Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to Father except through Me.' One way, one Savior, no exceptions."
No exceptions.
Again, I admire what Oprah has accomplished, the influence to which she has attained, the many thousands of people she has helped, and more. But the bottom line without Jesus it won't count for anything in the end—and I hate to see others led astray despite anyone's kind intentions. I'm praying and waiting on the day that she turns her heart fully to Jesus Christ and uses her celebrity to exalt Him and Him alone. He is worthy.

A World with No Christians?
Report Shows Disturbing Trend

Christians could soon be extinct from entire regions of the world, according to a new report from the U.K. Catholic group, Aid to the Church in Need.
This week, the group released its latest bi-annual report, Persecuted and Forgotten?
"Christians are fast disappearing from entire regions - most notably a huge chunk of the Middle East but also whole dioceses in Africa. In large part, this migration is the product of an ethnic cleansing motivated by religious hatred," the report says.
As a result of the persecution against Christians, a massive exodus is happening in parts of the Middle East, notably Syria and Iraq.
Christianity could disappear from Iraq within the next five years if the situation doesn't change, ACN's John Pontifex told CBN's George Thomas. Click to watch more.
British Prime Minister David Cameron wrote a letter addressing the situation to introduce the ACN report to the House of Lords.
"No believer should have to live in fear, and this is why (the British) Government is committed to promoting religious freedom and tolerance at home and around the world," Cameron wrote.
"This report serves as a voice for the voiceless, from their prison cells and the places far from home where they have sought refuge," he said. "Now is not the time for silence. We must stand together and fight for a world where no one is persecuted because of what they believe."
ACN's report says Christians are now the most persecuted faith group in the world, citing the International Society for Human Rights 2012 report, which estimates that 80 percent of all acts of religious discrimination were against Christians.

Archaeologist Believes to Have Discovered Location of Biblical Sodom, But One Thing Remains a Mystery

“Then the Lord said, ‘The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.’” (Genesis 18:20)
After 10 years of digging, archaeologist Steven Collins, of Trinity Southwest University of New Mexico, and his team believe they have discovered the location of Biblical Sodom in the Southern Jordan Valley in Jordan, about 14 kilometers northeast of the Dead Sea. However, they are struggling to solve a deep mystery.
The city, with its massive walls, palaces, administrative buildings and surrounding farm region, flourished and dominated the region for 3,000 years. Based on evidence found at the site, some 4,000 years ago the entire area suddenly became uninhabited for over 700 years. Archaeologists and scientists are attempting to figure out why.
While digging at the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project, Collins studied accounts of Sodom extensively, explaining to Popular Archaeology, “Tall el-Hammam seemed to match every Sodom criterion demanded by the text.”
We know very little about the Bronze Age in the south of the Jordan River Valley. Most archaeological maps of the area were blank. But what we have found is an important city-state, which was unknown before our project began,” he said.
“Tall el-Hammam matches the description of the area where Sodom was located according to the Bible. It was said to be the largest city east of Kikkar. When we explored the region, Tall el-Hammam was an obvious choice, as it was five to ten times larger than the other Bronze Age cities throughout the region, even those found beyond Jordan.”
One of the characteristics of Sodom mentioned in the Bible is the incredible richness of the area.  Lot, Abraham’s nephew who escaped Sodom when it was destroyed, chose the Jordan Valley for this particular trait (Genesis 13:10). The area of Tall el-Hammam fits that description well. The farms in the area took advantage of the annual flooding of the Jordan River, planting in the newly deposited rich silt as the floodwaters receded.
The Israel Bible 5 Book Set
Sodom was also noted in the Bible for homosexuality. Collins offers a theory to link his findings to that aspect of the Biblical narrative, including archaeological evidence that indicates that homosexuality was an accepted part of the Tall el-Hammam culture.
“It’s quite large, and has a pillared gate-house through which one would enter the city,” explained Collins. “Such pillared architecture is more Aegean than Canaanite or Levantine, which suggests a connection to the world of the Minoans and Mycenaeans.”
Many of the architectural and artistic motifs found at Tall el-Hammam strengthen this cultural connection. According to Collins, there is documented proof that the Creat Minoans practiced homosexuality as part of their culture. Based on evidence indicating the strong cultural link between the Creat Minoans with Tall el-Hammam, it is likely they adopted this practice as well.

The site is adjacent to the Dead Sea, which has a 34 percent salinity. This unique feature coats the rocks on its shore in thick layers of salt. This is consistent with the Biblical account, which describes Lot’s wife turning to a pillar of salt.
Sometime between 2000-1540 BCE, the city and surrounding area became uninhabited. Initial tests show that no life existed in that area for about 700 years, but the archaeological team has found no evidence for this sudden and lasting desolation.
Clues to this mystery may also be found in the Bible narrative. The destruction of Sodom is described as God raining down burning sulfur, or, in other translations, fire and brimstone (Genesis 19:24). At the Tall site, a layer of ash was discovered and the remains of one palace are stained red from burning. In addition, pottery shards display signs of exposure to extremely high temperatures. Normally, evidence of fire at such sites is the result of a military action, however a military conquest would usually be followed by an occupation, and it certainly would not account for 700 years of desolation.
Collins offers his own theory remarkably Biblical in nature. According to Collins, an enormous explosion over the city, such as that caused by a massive meteor, would account for all the evidence. He describes it as an “airburst”. As fantastic as that sounds, a similar occurrence was documented in Mesopotamia around 2200 BCE and credited with disrupting that civilization.
The Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project is an example of how scientists are successfully using the Bible as an authoritative source to learn more about the world around us. In the case of Sodom, Steven Collins discovered that what most people understand as a Biblical myth was actually accurate in the most astounding ways.
